1561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think sport betting and gambling casinos are the first business to get up on: April 30, 2020, 02:22:56 AM
Gambling companies are currently one of the most affected due to Covid19 and for the resumption of their activities, there is no scheduled date. But what is certain is that the President of the Federal Reserve, Jerome Powell, has said that they will support small and medium-sized companies by granting loans at almost zero rates and that they will be vigilant to support the boost of the economy.

1562  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: April 29, 2020, 05:18:55 AM
I also think Wilder could lose the fight against Fury. If the event could take place, there is talk that it could be in October, for the fight to take place. It should be an event with spectators. The last fight raised $ 17m ticket sales and without the fans, there is no business.

'The fans in the last fight put in almost $17m into the coffers in the purchase of tickets… how do you replace that?': Tyson Fury's trilogy bout with Deontay Wilder may have to 'wait a couple more months' beyond October so it's safe for spectators, warns Bob Arum.

1563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reason for ending gambling sessions: Had something else to do on: April 29, 2020, 03:31:49 AM
Gambling takes time if you are a busy person I doubt that you are willing to be so active in it.
I see that the survey gave the results according to reality.
The mobile phone is the king for which gambling companies are developing their Apps so that users can comfortably browse on their smartphones.
Gambling must be taken with great caution and control. Not overdo it.
1564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA : Complete Domestic Competitions! on: April 29, 2020, 02:30:12 AM
June seems to be a tentative date to resume football games. I think that it can only be achieved with an extreme measure of sanitation and Covid19 tests. Without the public, it is sad but we have not yet won the battle against the Coronavirus until there is a cure. Sporting events should be resumed due to their importance to the economy.
1565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: April 29, 2020, 01:46:23 AM
This memory is interesting about the beginnings of the legendary Michael Jordan. These guys were really tough and offensive. I found an article documenting the Timeline of Bulls and Bad Boys Pistons.
Pistons coach Chuck Daly devises a defensive strategy that he called The Jordan Rules. It is notorious that Jordan showed great superiority to earn the privilege of that the Pistons coach creates a rule adjusted to his style of play.

The method that Nicaragua implemented was good, it is not the one that I would like. Unfortunately, the Coronavirus does not leave many alternatives. Sports generate a lot of income for countries and not celebrating would mean a lot of losses. After seeing what the Covid19 is capable of. I agree that the events take place without spectators and that the teams are tested for the Coronavirus.
1567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: April 28, 2020, 08:41:41 PM
Pedro Sánchez the Prime Minister of Spain gives the green light for the football so that teams prepare to play in June.
Starting Monday (May 4), all footballers will be able to resume training but there is an order from the Ministry of Health that each group (associations, religious, clubs, among others) and this includes football they must carry out tests to detect the Coronavirus, this is done to guarantee the health of the players, and the collectives. We can hopefully see how Spain gradually comes out of quarantine.

1568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Many cryptocurrencies — how important is that for you in casinos? on: April 28, 2020, 06:53:45 AM
More crypto can be used in online games thus making these sites more interesting to users. I love the variety but I maintain my preference with bitcoin. Also, TRX is one that has caught my attention because it is gaining popularity in the development of its ecosystem.
1569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Takes Place Amidst Pandemic on: April 27, 2020, 06:43:37 AM
In Nicaragua, this event was held with maximum security measures. Because it is a country that does not have many confirmed cases of Covid19 because they were allowed to carry out the event.
Boxers allege that they cannot stay locked up at home because they need money to feed their families.
Hopefully, there will be no consequences in the coming days.

Great infographic! I am also ready to wait for the halving 2020. This happens every four years, it is my first halving.
This is discussed on Twitter, it is good to have a thread for the big BTCitcoin event.

Coinbase and Qriously to ask 5,126 people ages 18+ in the US and UK about their experiences with the current financial system.
This is the study referred to by @Black Cookies

It is a good, elaborate study that shows us what African Americans think of the current financial system in the United States that it is worth reading and learning more.
As in all parts of the world, Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are accepted by a minority because it is necessary to learn about them and gain confidence in the technological system and enjoy its advantages.
1573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Become Negative in Value? on: April 25, 2020, 08:32:51 PM
The price of a barrel of crude oil declined to a negative $38 as we know is due to the effects of the Covid19. The transportation system is paralyzed worldwide as a result of covid19, therefore, there is no demand for crude oil to create fuels.

After leaving the state of emergency we will gradually recover. It is a chaotic situation but keeps the faith that we will recover. We need to be optimistic, imagine you I live in Venezuela that we depend on oil exploitation, we also gold and other minerals but we are blocked by the USA. It is a terrible situation for us.

A shocking way to put historic oil price drop in perspective

1574  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin banking system on: April 25, 2020, 07:09:54 PM
We all have at least one bank account and after using BTCitcoin and cryptocurrencies we have realized that the banking system should be reformed. So I think banks should adapt to the time we live in and update their system. There is frequent talk of the creation of CBDC that has been successful in the banks that implemented it.

1575  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Covid-19 a cause for BTC price drops? on: April 25, 2020, 06:34:55 PM
Due to the danger that Covid19 represents, it has caused the drops in the price of Bitcoin and the entire economy. We are trying to survive, as long as there is no cure the damages cannot be calculated with precision. We know that the economy is in decline and we need to join forces to move it forward.
1576  Economy / Economics / Re: China will rule world as economy king after crisis end? on: April 25, 2020, 02:45:15 PM
If you read the story of Li Wenliang the doctor who warned of the new Coronavirus in Wuhan. It gives you outrage again to see all the havoc that Covid19 has wreaked on all levels of humanity. Because around the Coronavirus, everything has been seen, too many errors, cover-ups, and private interests.

The Chinese government is the one that has best fought the Covid19 pandemic. The nation has not recorded more deaths from the virus and is already moving its economy as the first step to normality in that nation.
What we have left is to get out of the Coronavirus and work hard to recover the economy.
1577  Economy / Economics / Re: Goverments creating digital currencies - Threat or Opportunity? on: April 25, 2020, 01:43:03 PM
As we well know, there are several opinions on the matter in favor and against digital currencies that governments want to create.
Governments know the impact that BTCitcoin and blockchain have caused. It is increasingly evident that traditional banking is lagging far behind the advancement of technology and is not giving its users quick responses to their needs.

There are currently blockchain use cases in the banking industry. As indicated in the following article

https://changelly.com/blog/blockchain-in-banking-industry-use-cases/

Commerzbank (Germany)
UBS (Switzerland)
JP Morgan (US)
ING (Netherlands)
Banco Santander (Spain)
Among others.

So it makes me think that governments are seeing the need to reinvent themselves by creating their digital currency.
1578  Economy / Economics / Re: How Will the current pandemic affect the crypto market? on: April 25, 2020, 08:22:44 AM
The crypto market works 24/7 and 365 days a year, and it is also a market that does not have to leave home to work, it is digital money.
Despite the current crisis, the prices of cryptocurrencies have not failed, the Community has responded positively in these difficult times allowing the growth of the ecosystem to continue.

It may not be at the planned rate, but startups and current projects have not stopped.
The sector that will grow is that of finance because it has shown that it needs to be updated according to current technological advances. We will also see more projects focused on health and charity.
1579  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The growth of cryptocurrency on: April 25, 2020, 03:49:51 AM
I agree with the growth of cryptocurrencies. I think that once a person knows BTCitcoin and cryptocurrencies his life changes and he/she joins the crypto community.

1. How does cryptocurrency help you in your daily lives?
Cryptocurrencies in my daily life help me with everything because I use them every week. I go to the exchange to sell them for FIAT but only the amount I need in one week. Also, I can save despite its volatility.

2. How long have you been into cryptocurrency and how does it changed your life since then?
I am three years old and it has completely changed my life. I only do work from home to earn crypto.

3. How did you know cryptocurrency?
By pure chance, I joined telegram, I met an ICO, I saw that there was a bounty campaign and I joined. Since then it has been a wonderful journey.

The BTCitcoin logo on the shirt sleeve of Watford FC this season is an educational campaign so that the public knows the benefits of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies and is directed by Sportsbet.io. Which in turn is grateful to the crypto community that has supported them.
