CEX.io hurt me recently with all the decline but good thing I sold out at a much less loss than now. I am ready to buy back in very soon.

1563  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Why buying mining hardware IS almost always BETTER then JUST investing. on: November 03, 2013, 09:27:13 PM
I think everyone would be happy making money either way. This is viewed as a hobby in many ways which of course usually always costs money. I can see both views, it all comes down to why you are interested in bitcoin. I personally would not mind investing or buying miners however I feel the mining companies are taking advantage of the average miner. If their greed was a little less and would give miners a fair shot at coming to close to breaking even I wouldn't mind supporting the network. Keep in mind although you are supporting the network you are also supporting their greed which is why I will not invest in any expensive miners (several hundreds to thousands of dollars). If people will do this the mining companies will have to change their policy reminds me of how microsoft changed their policies after the public's outrage. The hash rate is already at an incredible amount that a temporary boycott will not affect it (especially since the difficulty is increasing at such a rapid rate). Just my 2 cents

Try emailing the support team. Some of them are not willing to work with you but Olaf who posts in this forum is very helpful and was able to give me the rate I locked in. Try PMing him. I was in your situation 2 weeks ago.

1567  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CEX.IO on: October 23, 2013, 09:24:21 PM

1568  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: why is there an $8 USD spread between BTC-e and Bitstamp? on: October 21, 2013, 12:25:58 PM
btc-e fees are pretty high if you look at any of their withdrawal methods except if its in BTC. I think these are the main reasons but also its an exchange so supply and demand. Campbx and coinbase base their data off bitstamp exchange so that is why its similar.

1570  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] CoinByCall.com - Get paid in BTC for listening radio over the phone on: October 20, 2013, 12:35:31 AM
Each number (caller id) can only be used once you can read the FAQ

i know, but i ask different things, i'm not placing multiple calls using the same phone/caller id and happen that my calls are hangup without any reason, so i ask what i write above to try to find out what is the problem  Wink

as for how many different phones you can use to call that same number I have up to 5 with no problems so far.

do you use USA numbers?

Yes I use USA numbers as I am from the USA. You can generate up to 5 numbers but i have all cellphones call the same number and have no problems. Sometimes I have to redial as it will disconnect in beginning before i can enter pin but other than that no problems.

EDIT: also I keep noticing the amount of bitcoin per minute is consistently going down Sad

mmm...can you tell me which are the reason that make you hangup a call without any notice?
can you add something like the "invalid caller id" for "your caller id is already in call", is fine even temporarily, just to find out what is the problem

thanks

[edit]
how many calls at same time can receive a single USA number?

1572  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: new bitcoin difficulty to 263,358,983 and future profitability of mining on: October 17, 2013, 04:32:29 PM
I think the difficulty will still increase dramatically since all the new machines coming out UNLESS they all somehow get pushed back months. This will only slow the growth, I doubt the difficulty will go down in the next few months though

1574  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's the easiest way to buy bitcoins with USD (with an American bank account? on: October 16, 2013, 03:58:11 PM
Coinbase is nice can be a pain in the beginning but once you can buy instantly it has a huge advantage in USA
1575  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CEX.IO on: October 15, 2013, 03:10:07 PM
way too many people panic selling thats for sure..

people know how to manipulate the market. I was tempted to panic sell lol but then i saw I would lose a full bitcoin...In 2 days or so when the difficulty goes up well see what happens.
1576  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CEX.IO on: October 15, 2013, 02:10:31 PM
I really hope it comes back otherwise I just lost a lot of bitcoin  Embarrassed   things that I miss when I am sleeping
1577  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: CEX.IO Has anyone used it? on: October 10, 2013, 05:09:15 AM
Lol if you think there is no money to be made here you are mistaken. If you can buy mine and sell at the right times there is certainly bitcoin to be made. I tested the exchanged with 0.7 BTC and brought it all the way up to 1.7BTC but lost some due to the difficulty rise but still wound up at 1.4BTC essentially doubling my initial investment. Learn to play smart and you can do well. This was all in the matter of a few days.

I also will say I have deposited and withdrawn my bitcoin successfully.

1579  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Got $200-300 to spend on mining hardware on: October 07, 2013, 08:34:26 PM
If you want mining hardware go with the blades. I would just recommend investing it as you will make more than wasting it since ROI will never be even close to achieved with this difficulty spiking every few weeks.

if you can switch the USA station to a higher pay rate station. I love coinbycall and have been receiving payouts for about 2 weeks now every 2-3 days.
