1561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: November 08, 2022, 04:16:32 PM
it was very sad for Barca and Manchester United when they had to meet in the play-offs of the European league this season, they were supposed to meet in the Champions league, but that's how football changes coaches and players in and out of teams resulting in both teams ending up only in this phase, I sure both teams will prove who can go further in the European leagues, but Barca's chances are more open because they are more consistent in the local league compared to MU which is still unstable in the league

It took time for Erik ten Hag to adjust to the Premier League game, it was not easy to build a solid team, especially since the Premier League is the toughest competition, almost all clubs have players who are quite good both physically and in their game performance. If you look at the statistics, the two clubs are very far apart. different, it's true that Barca is more superior but Manchester United's game, can't be underestimated, sometimes they can make the opposing club troublesome, it's true what you say about the game that is still unstable in their league, I think this will be a very exciting match, there will even be extra time in the meeting of these two Clubs..
Truly Erik Ten Hag had made an impact on Man Utd squad since assumption of duties as their new manager, he is gradually repositioning and building the team with time the club will be formidable and stronger, however the fact that Man Utd playing Barcelona in Europa shouldn't be written off as the underdog because of Barcelona topping Laliga that shouldn't be the yardstick to rate them above the Red Devils, both teams are equal to the task and the match can be won by either sides and it's very obvious that EPL fared better in European competitions this season, Liverpool, Man City and Chelsea performed well in UCL while Arsenal and Man Utd also did well in Europa league.
1562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins dead? on: November 07, 2022, 05:57:53 PM
Everything has its own time, so right now we are still bear market so we can expect that altcoins are not rallying yet due to bitcoin's stagnant price for past few months. Though we have some mini run in the market but it still not time to celebrate henceforth bear market is still strong enough that price recovery is slow for now. Atcoins has its own seasons, so it's best to HODL for now and wait for the altcoin to resumes.
Truly the crypto market is still in bearish run, though there are some recent false breakout of the price of bitcoin that doesn't signal a bullish return consequently all the altcoins  remains in a bearish sentiment, I don't think there is hope or any tendency for crypto market to pump again this year however, the future prospect of the price returning to it bullish is feasible based on the upcoming bitcoin halving billed to take place in 2024 this reinforce the fact that crypto investment is a long term project thus it requires patience and perseverance because it may takes months or years to earn reasonable returns or profits.
1563  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Early Sign to Adopt Bitcoin by Nigerian Government on: November 07, 2022, 10:13:20 AM
I will take this report more seriously when I see the Nigerian government taking real steps to support bitcoin, for a country who has a active ban on bitcoin p2p transactions I find it amusing that they would be genuinely interested in training 30,000 people in cryptocurrency. There are so many reasons why I doubt the sincerity of the government, it’s election time and the current administration will be looking for ways to capture the heart of the masses, this sudden positive interest in cryptocurrency is suspicious and the promises will not be met. El Salvador made bitcoin a legal tender without publishing plans to “train people in blockchain”. I think the Nigerian government should be more proactive
It's more like audio announcement to me by the Nigerian government which won't stand taste of time, as you stated the upcoming election had made governance not to function properly, the government negative perceptions on cryptocurrencies is on course where banks are monitoring every transactions that is linked with cryptocurrencies in a bid to flag and freeze those accounts as directed by the same government that wanted to train 30,000 youths in blockchain, let the government through the CBN governor make a statement to lift the ban on cryptocurrencies then crypto enthusiasts will start taking them serious.

Arsenal's great opportunity to move on to Man City's position. But they will be up against Chelsea. Chelsea are not a bad team, although they lost to Brighton in the last game.  Man City and Arsenal are only one point apart. If they win Arsenal will certainly shift Man City's position. In addition, maybe this is also used as a Moment for Aubameyang. I think he will be excited to beat Arsenal. Because he wanted to make Arteta regret throwing it away. Potter will certainly take advantage of Aubameyang because he knows the abilities of Arsenal players.

The game is over and Arsenal won 0 - 1 at Stamford Bridge, I am happy to see Arsenal's performance this season, they seem to show their seriousness and consistency in every EPL game. Currently the distance between Arsenal and Manchester City is only 2 points adrift and Arsenal are back in the lead of the standings. But there is something strange after I see the current EPL standings. Why Newcastle can be in third position? LOL
Chelsea was never a threat to Arsenal in yesterday 's match, the gunners dominated the match from the start to finish unfortunately only managed to score a lone goal, from all indications now Arsenal had improved tremendously while playing top teams in EPL in contrast with the performance against top teams in the previous seasons, they only lost 1-3 to Man Utd in a match they ought to have won, they won their match against Liverpool, Tottenham and now Chelsea, if they win against Man City then their chances of winning the EPL will become brighter though the league is still very far with many more matches to be played.
1565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 06, 2022, 07:54:33 PM
Emery taking over at Aston Villa is a positive development, yeah we all know about Emery's effect on teams. His time at Arsenal wasn't a long one but it was productive, I expect same productivity at Aston Villa. Certainly Aston Villa will improve under Emery and be a successful team. We saw a glimpse of this improvement in the game today against Manchester United, Kudos to Emery.
Emery's performance at Villarreal last season surprised me especially as they beat Bayern in the Champions League and now he's moved to Aston Villa with another surprise.
Aston Villa's performance in Emery's debut was really very good, especially considering the opponent is Manchester United who are very seeded.
Hopefully this will not only be a debut for Emery and Aston Villa because they still need a win to improve their current position.
A good start, era and debut performance from Emery I hope he will be consistent in subsequent matches, it's been long Aston Villa defeated Man Utd on their home ground precisely since 27 years ago it's remarkable and well deserved win thus pushed Aston Villa through to 13th position on the table, Man Utd was very poor today and Erik Ten Hag playing Ronaldo as well captain the team couldn't make any positive impact, their defence wasn't solid I think since Varane got injured that defence line had been struggling likewise their midfield was nothing to write home about today.
1566  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to raise funding for trading? on: November 06, 2022, 03:13:52 PM
I am doing trading since more than Four years and earning good  but i want more capital for big trade setups, so any pro trader please suggest me that how can i raise fund for my trading.

I know nothing about  fundraising so please guide me through this process for my better future.

Thanks.
Once you understand your trading strength ( an amount you can comfortably make as profit in every trade without much stress) then it will be so easy to raise enough fund to start a big trading account. First is tell yourself the truth on how much you can comfortably pull out of each trade then grow with it.
If the OP is really earning profits consistently with the trading strategy, it's up to the OP to save all the profits earned via trading if compounding suggested by some forum members isn't desireable or unachievable I am very sure with time profits saved will amount to huge funds in a long term, personally I am also a trader using small amount of funds to trade, though I haven't funded my account with huge funds, however I plan to do so in the nearest future with some of my savings and salary, obtaining a loan or selling assets to fund a trading account isn't advisable because of the high risk of trading.
1567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 06, 2022, 02:46:25 PM
Chelsea 0:1 Arsenal FT

Finally Arsenal was able to defeat Chelsea FC as I correcrly predicted. This is a very wonderful and glorious win for Arsenal as they have comfortably returned to the top of the Premier League table. In the other hand Chelsea has lost their two successive matches which is keeping them in the same situation as Liverpool who also lost their two consecutive matches.
This is the time that Graham Porter need to prove the English football lovers that he is a good coach despite the fact that he has some missing good players in his defence line
It becoming obvious that Arsenal is EPL title contender and on track with their fine performance against Chelsea today, they took control of the game and gave no chances to the blues, gave no space for Abumeyang to score, he was absolutely woeful with eight touches before being substituted, Arsenal having defeated Liverpool, Tottenham and now Chelsea it becoming dream come true for the gunners to vie for and challenge Man City for title, they only needed to consistent in their remaining matches and sustain the tempo of their performance, I am very proud of the gunners.
1568  Economy / Economics / Re: Reasons you will remain broke as an adult on: November 05, 2022, 04:25:25 PM
The only very reason I find why most people are broke is because they were too lazy although, it's not always the main reason but mostly it's because of their laziness that's why they end up being the same as before. If people were striving just to survive or to get out the poverty, they will in no time but it should always come with a self-control and patience if they want to continue succeeding since it's not always about how hard you work but it's also how you control yourself from being a reckless spender that would lead you to becoming broke someday.
Some people are naturally lazy they prefer " to receive a fish rather than to learn how to fish so as to sustain them for a lifetime" there are numerous learnable skills on the internet which are well sought after unfortunately some lazy people prefers to stay idle and beg to survive invariably live from hand to mouth, even with the little money they squandered it, Moreso it's advisable to utilize a scale of preference in our basic needs by avoiding purchase of items which are not the basic needs of the household especially now that inflation is ravaging globally leading to high cost of goods and services.
1569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 05, 2022, 04:07:04 PM
So many interesting matches in these two days. But for now I'm waiting for Manchester City's match against Fulham at the Etihad Stadium. Even though Manchester City have a chance to win a lot in today's game, but I always prefer to see this team play in the Premier League and one more thing I am looking forward to is the Chelsea vs Arsenal match for tomorrow. As for the others today I see nothing more interesting to look at.
Haaland is ready to score again, I hope he picks up exactly where he left off. Keep working on records and hopefully score a goal in 6 homematch in a row, the record is now 8 years old. In 10 minutes the game start with goalgetter Bernardo Silva, Alvarez and Grealish.
In the 28th minute, Fulham managed to equalize through the white point. Andreas Pereira who stepped forward as an executor managed to equalize his duties well. Manchester City had to play with 10 men after Joao Cancelo received a red card which led to a penalty for Fulham. The first half left less than 10 minutes and Manchester City had to change their strategy because after losing 1 player.
It's now halftime It will be tight for Man City now playing with 10 men against Fulham, I believe Guordiola will do needful by changing formation because Man City needed to win this match with their home advantage and support, meanwhile most Arsenal fans would hope that the match end in a draw or Man City losses thus to give them an edge over top teams and consolidate their top position on the table while hoping to win their match tomorrow against Chelsea, honestly EPL is becoming very difficult to predict soccer pundits and analysts had tipped Man City to win today however, it like an upset is likely to be created at full time.

I feel I should learn to trade from multiple sources rather than look for signal groups, paid or free, and use the money to practice what I've earned. It would be much better because at least I can learn about trading and if I study harder, I can have better trading skills. If we just rely on signals from other people, it might be okay but just imagine what will happen to you when someone else can't give you the right signal or he disappears with your money. You will be disappointed not to get anything from him. But that's up to you. In this case, we can't give you the best about that signal group.
This was the route I took, instead of subscribing to signal groups or channels, though it took me spirited efforts a lot of time and perseverance to reach where Iam today in trading, I learn those skills without a mentor, I read a lot of articles, journals and documents on trading including watching YouTube videos, I started from the basics because forex trading was my first priority and  point of learning was babypip.com where I learned all the elementary and newbie articles and studied till it advance and more complex ones, I also installed Charting platform on both Laptop and phone Mt4 thereafter funding my account with some small funds which I am trading with presently with a broker.

If we are to compare both teams defenses this season, Arsenal defense is stronger and much more effective in terms of performance. It will take an improved performance for chelsea to be able to beat Arsenal. Arsenal's attack is so strong and it will be difficult for Chelsea's defence to fend off advances from their attacking force. I think it will be a tough game for both teams, hopefully Arsenal will be victorious in the end.
The London derby between Chelsea vs Arsenal this week has really attracted the attention of many people, Aubumayeng's reunion with Arsenal is one of the main dishes, although for now Arsenal's performance is very promising but I don't believe Arsenal will be able to bring home the three points when they travel to Chelsea, although for now Chelsea are stumbling in the premier league but their performance is still very good, the evidence is that in the Champions League Chelsea were able to come out as group winners, plus Chelsea playing at home it is certain that Chelsea has additional strength to reduce the attacks of Arteta's men.
Arsenal had been very consistent this season even when they lost against Man Utd they dominated that match unfortunately were defeated, I think they will dominate tomorrow match against Chelsea having very consistent and overbearing dominance over Chelsea in the past seasons is a real indication of their likely win in tomorrow match with injury to some Chelsea key players like Kante, Recce James, Chidwell Kepa Arrizabalaga and Wesley Fofana even makes the encounter to be a tough match for the host and Arsenal had only Tomiyasu on the sidelines fortunately Zenchenko and Tierney will fill his left back position.
1572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: November 04, 2022, 01:44:21 PM
Arsenal who appear at home to difficulty scoring goals. whereas, apart from winning possession of the ball, Arsenal had many opportunities. however, unfortunately they were not able to increase the number of goals. despite winning narrowly and locking the top of this group. even so, this result did not match the expectations of the Gunners supporters.

however, it is understandable if Arteta did not field a full starting line-up for this match. the reason is, they will play a tough match this week which will travel to Stamford Bridge, Chelsea's headquarters. naturally, if Mikel Arteta saves the energy of their core players during the match against Zurich.

This victory makes Arsenal certain to qualify for the round of 16 as group winners and can avoid strong teams later, even though they won narrowly but surely the victory was greeted with joy by the fans because we managed to maintain a positive trend so far, I think Arteta was deliberately lowering the second tier squad in that match to avoid injury to players, including withdrawing some main players when the match was not over and this was done to optimize the squad for facing chelsea later, as a The Gunners I was quite relieved to see Saka and Zinchenko back on the field after suffering injuries but unfortunately the victory had to be paid for expensive by Arteta with the return of Tomiyasu injury.
Apart from playing strong team in knockout stages Arsenal also avoided playing a two legged playoff matches with clubs that dropped from UCL, it's a big plus for the club for topping their group and will possibly play a not too strong runner-up team and I think they club will be a favorite to lift Europa Cup provided that they remain consistent in their performance and remain injury-free till the end of the season, good to see Zinchenko warming up in their last match against Zurich an indication that he will replace injured Tomiyasu in their match against Chelsea it's also a good news that Saka is back for action.

So Gerard Pique announced officially that he will retire this weekend after Barcelona - Almeria match at the age of 35. I might not understand it well what he meant by the last game in Camp Nou since Barcelona will have another game Tuesday tho away but whatever the exact date, he decided to take a break as a professional player.
Source
It has been announced that Pique will retire from football, which means his career as a FC Barcelona player has come to an end. This Saturday at the Camp Nou, he will play his last game for the club against Almeria. As one of the greatest defenders of his generation, he will forever be remembered as a legend. During his best days, he played his part and will forever be remembered. Best wishes for your retirement, Pique.
Happy retirement in advance to Pique, he had a fulfilling career having played more than 600 games and won 30 trophies for Barcelona is worthy of commendation, I wish he could have play for two more seasons, I remembered those days with nostalgia when Pique and Puyol were Barcelona center backs the duo had been very solid at the back and very consistent in their defensive role while covering for their goalkeeper Víctor Valdés, that was when Barca was playing Tiki-Taka style of football, it was a great pleasure watching Barcelona matches then, I am hoping to see Pique taking up a managerial role in the nearest future.

Football matches can give a shocking results. Don't be surprised if Fulham wins over Manchester City at their home game.
Upset is always a thing in football, but they rarely happen, that is why the bookmakers will always give the greater odd to the smaller team when they are playing a big team, because the chances are really slim for them to win. Having said that, i'm afraid i don't think there is any chance of Fulham beating City, Fulham are a very decent team and they have had a great start to life back in the EPL, but City are definitely going to be too strong for them, and mind you that Arsenal square off against Chelsea, which is a big match that Arsenal could potentially drop points in, i am pretty sure City will want to get their own job done because the possibility is high of them finishing this match week at the summit of the table.

Another thing the Gunners need to guard against is to underestimate the Blues. Given that they lost to Brighton won't mean they would give in easily, because if there's anything Graham's men would ensure is that they sorely frustrate Arsenal.

Surely Man City's game is a piece of cake but it would do them good to be wary of players like Willian and Mitrovic because they can take one unawares if they are ignored.
Man City is obviously the favorite team to win against Fulham at Etihad stadium with the return of Haaland from injury I don't think Fulham stand any chance of winning there probably needed to defend well to avoid conceding too many goals, meanwhile Arsenal had won their matches against Chelsea at Stanford Bridge in their two previous meetings, however this time around it would be a bit difficult for the gunners to repeat such feat again probably they will get a draw because Chelsea wouldn't afford to lose back to back having lost their last match against Brighton will motivate them to avoid another defeat.

I bought a plot of land in 2017 @ $1K value of BTC then when the price of bitcoin reached an ATH of $19K, I took the decision based on the fact that Land is an asset which does not depreciate but rather it fiat value increases with time that was one of the best decision I took which paid off, that property is still available where I hope to build a house on it though it selling price had increased tremendously if wanted to resale, though the price of bitcoin later reached another ATH at $68K in view of that I don't have any regret for boldly withdrawal of bitcoin from wallet to purchase the land.

This is so funny maybe he has a distinct mark on his body that will identify by his relatives, by wearing a costume like that he can hide everything, it's his choice to do that to protect his identity and also to protect himself and his family, $30 million is such a huge amount he can endanger his family if many people know who he is he will have a lot of stalkers and many so-called friends will come out, maybe in the future, he will eventually tell this to his family, because $30 million is such a huge amount to hide.
I think this is the best decision taken by the man though it's so funny looking at his appearance in custome, however there is some iota of sense in what he actually did having known the behavior of his wife and kids with regards to money, $30 million is a huge amount of money that might deter his children to go to school while his wife will abandon her job, he took this decision in the best interest of the family which I high believe is commendable, infact other close relatives would also want a share from his jackpot if he reveal his indentity this will him to become more popular in his community thus putting his life at risk.
1577  Economy / Economics / Re: Will you further your degree from school, or learn a new skill after college? on: November 02, 2022, 08:26:47 PM
What will be your advice to two friends who have just finished from college, one is considering furthering her education in the degree she has gotten from college, the other says she has learnt enough from school and rather than looking to further her education in the degree she has gotten from school, she is considering learning a good skill that she considers will be highly sort after. If it will cost roughly the same amount of money for the both of them to go with what they like and both choices are prospective, who would you advice to reconsider, and who would you encourage to continue?
Learning a skill is better after her college program companies are searching for skill based employees especially programming skill jobs which is one of the most sought after job globally, once she acquires any of those skills coupled with her college certificate she would be gainfully employed within the shortest period of time starting from an Intern to a Junior developer before becoming an expert which comes with time and experience, though furthering her education might afford her the opportunity to become a lecturer or other post graduate based career, however the opportunities in former option outweigh that of the latter.
1578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 02, 2022, 04:37:43 PM
Former Arsenal captain Aubameyang had to prove to Arteta that he was the one who had been dumped and now he cannot squander this opportunity. Playing at home is a distinct advantage for Chelsea. I hope Aubameyang can play optimally. Like the history of Aubameyang being wasted from Arsenal to Barcelona, the feud between Arteta and him makes him now have to be able to teach valuable lessons. But despite all that the biggest obstacle is Arsenal has a young squad that is quite scary. This Big Match was really awaited by everyone and Chelsea should not be embarrassed.

I expect a good performance from Aubameyang today. Aubameyang is a fantastic player. His performance with Barcelona impressed us. But Arsenal's coach and management neglected this player. Aubameyang should avenge this humiliation. And a good performance against Arsenal. I think Chelsea will win if Aubameyang plays well. I am expecting to see better performances and goals from Aubemeyang. However, Arsenal's defense will be very difficult to break down.
@S A KHAIR  The match is coming up on Sunday not today, if Abumeyang had been that consistent in scoring goals Barcelona wouldn't have signed Lewandowski so there isn't anything special about him playing against his former club, of course Arteta knew some of his abilities and weak points thus he will brief his defenders on how to contain him and deny him any breathing space, personally I think Lukaku is more ruthless in front of goal better than Abumeyang, meanwhile this will be another tough encounter for both teams Chelsea will try to avoid back to back defeats thus will do everything possible to avoid defeat while Arsenal will go for a win to consolidate their first position on the table.

Quote
Manually: Watching the price and manually clicking when the level is reached. Good if you are an intraday trader, and don’t leave open positions overnight. It is not good when price moves violently, especially in crypto, often you will not have time to react.

I find this interesting and it looks like an advise never to leave running market over to the next trading day, this is dangerous. Every trading day has it own challenges so never expect total continuation of the previous day. So close your running trade if on profit or you put stop loss if you are losing before the night falls.

Every day is new, prepare a fresh set up and see direction of the market because if you leave a running to the next day, you will be emotionally confused to take accurate trading decision.
I do plan my trade before pulling the trigger, I have zones for virtual Stop Loss usually at the last swing of the price while sitting down to monitor my trades, if the price reverses and move against my intended direction and once it reached my predetermined zone for placing a Stop Loss I manually close the trade and take profits as well manually if profitable, I have enough time to monitor my trades, I don't use Stop or Buy limit and Sell or Buy Stop, I always consider the high volatility of the price and wouldn't take things for granted like if the broker or exchange couldn't trigger off an automatically placed Stop Loss which will consequently lead to liquidation or wipe off my account.

Liverpool really surprised me because Napoli is in top form currently. I predicted that Napoli would have a very comfortable win but Liverpool proved me wrong. Both teams had already qualified, hence they had nothing to lose if the match was won by any side but Napoli still maintained the number one spot because of goal difference.

Liverpool ends Napoli winning streak in the champions league group. The game was a bit tough for the home team but they bounced back in the second half. Napoli failed to take their chances and this wasn't a good start for Luciano Spalleti. Hence, both teams qualify but Napoli wanted to make history as to be the team to qualify with winning all their fixtures in the group. They're still on top of the table with the same points with Liverpool but goal difference differs. Now, we would be looking up to the round of 16 where it will be more difficult for average team that manage to qualify their group stage.
Napoli performance was highly commendable in their match against Liverpool yestarday though the lost the match, however both clubs really deserve to qualify for the knockout stages, especially Liverpool who started their group stage matches on a shaky note but rediscovered their form in UCL and performed brilliantly well, though they are struggling in EPL, I hope they transform their brilliant performances in UCL into EPL in their next match and be consistent so as to qualify for next season UCL, defensively Liverpool really did well with return of  Konate playing along Van Dijk which help to stop Napoli danger man Victor Osimen.
