1581  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Nakatani June 26 on: June 28, 2021, 02:42:46 AM
Seems that my bet that Nakatani will have the advantage isn't enough to stop Lomachenko from doing a 9th round TKO victory against Nakatani. Nakatani did good but it seems that Lomachenko was really too much for him to handle as the rounds go by. Good game and congratulations to the players who bet on Lomachenko.
1582  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terms and condition a must read before signing up any online gambling site on: June 28, 2021, 02:08:24 AM
our habit is lazy to read T&C Cheesy

I do this when I want to try a new gambling site, because the site may suggest KYC for withdrawals or make a minimum withdrawal. reading the terms of service is very important and should not be missed.
That's how it was written, to not be read by the users so they can get their consent, have you ever wondered why they use that kind of language? That's because they want to make sure that you get bored and they can slip some terms that is disadvantageous to you. If you have the patience then good for you because you know what you're going to get. Also, a lot of T and Cs is your gateway to accessing the website so in the end it doesn't matter if you've read it or not.
1583  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Hiring Axie Infinity Players on: June 27, 2021, 10:08:50 AM
I mean tayo ata ang may pinakamadaming player sa mundo when it comes to Axie Infinity eh. By the way sir, ilan na scholar niyo?
1584  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Filipino crypto users on: June 27, 2021, 09:03:19 AM

1585  Local / Pilipinas / Re: [Rare diamond] mabibili gamit ang cryptocurrency on: June 27, 2021, 08:21:33 AM
This is pretty stupid para sa akin kasi hindi naman ganoon karare ang diamond eh, tiyak na masasayang lang yung bitcoin or cryptocurrency na ipanggagastos sa diamond na yan kasi next day biglang mas mataas na value ng bitcoin compared sa diamond.
1586  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to the coins after your death ? on: June 27, 2021, 05:38:22 AM
Depends on what measures you've put in place when you were still alive, if you don't have anything then that bitcoin is already a lost coin that will again contribute to the permanent increase of price of bitcoin, you really don't have to plan about it ahead of time, it just makes you anxious that your death could happen any day.
1587  Economy / Economics / Re: Permanent residence in El Salvador for crypto entrepreneurs on: June 27, 2021, 04:40:03 AM
This is tempting but we have to remember that when the businesses go there, they will be considered as crypto pioneers and at the same time a crypto guinea pig for other businesses to see if moving to El Salvador is going to be a success and it is an uncertain future because their growth is in parallel with the growth of bitcoin economy in El Salvador.
1588  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Scam Alert] ThisOption Exchange has a sign of scam with an unauthorized license on: June 27, 2021, 02:50:37 AM
I'm not familiar with the site it just sounds like the ads I usually found while browsing in facebook but it is not I guess or seems so. Good find, but I don't want to jump to conclusion yet, seems this is a fresh find and can't find any review/reports regarding this exchange/website.

So they have token as well https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/thisoption/

Funnily enough, I think there's an ad that is the same as this that I have found in some illegal anime streaming sites, the ones were there's a lot of pop ups that you have to click before you watch peacefully.
1589  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Roicapital.online | Ponzi Scheme on: June 27, 2021, 01:48:28 AM
Not going to lie but I visited their website and they are blatant at their scam, they have the address prepared where you can send your bitcoin. Checked the address and thankfully there's no one who has sent anything yet in the address. Not gonna lie though, their website is pretty clean although you can easily see that it's a scam. Anyways nice catch OP.
1590  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: remittance.finance--A lot of copied material without providing links to sources on: June 26, 2021, 01:22:37 PM
Good day everyone,

Sorry for the wait, but it took us a while to rewrite the Whitepaper and find all necessary sources that have been used for our Whitepaper.
We also added all links in Chapter 7 Links and resources.

You can find our adjusted Whitepaper V1.1.0 here: https://remittance.finance/Whitepaper_of_REMIT.pdf
Thank you all for your help.
Pretty for someone accused to respond to the accusations without any denying and just plain reformation. Hopefully the people who will check your whitepaper again will be able to find it spotless and not just being paraphrased because I am pretty sure that they will be able to see it.
1591  Other / Meta / Re: How to earn merit on: June 26, 2021, 12:42:53 PM
For me, the best way to earn merit was pointed long ago by some user who I have forgotten the name of. They said that you could qualify for a merit if you have a quality post, interesting and witty post or you contributed something really important to the forum.
1592  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL...until when? on: June 26, 2021, 11:43:17 AM
I am a hodler and for me the only time to cash out is probably when you really need the money the most. That's how I base my selling time, when I need it and since I am still a student, I don't have to worry too much about spending so I have a flexible way of selling my bitcoin.
1593  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will other countries adopt Bitcoin as legal tender after El Salvador's recent mo on: June 26, 2021, 08:38:41 AM
My amateur economic opinion is that don't expect the bigger first world countries to be adopting Bitcoin as legal tender any time soon. Chances are, the smaller countries(e.g. El Salvador) will be going first simply because they have far less to lose. While the bigger first world countries like the US will be watching these countries very closely, taking a look if adopting Bitcoin as legal tender would do them more good or more harm (e.g. less control over money vs probably more economic activity).
I think it's not an amateur opinion, that sounds like what 1st world countries will do, I mean they won't simply acknowledge the fact that a 3rd world country is better than them. Maybe if the results in El Salvador is a resounding success, maybe they might consider.
1594  Economy / Economics / Re: Trump regrets not banning twitter as he hails Nigerian government for doing so on: June 26, 2021, 07:41:16 AM
If the government suspects that a social media platform is interfering in the politics, then it has all the right to ban the platform. Twitter yesterday picked up a fresh fight with the Indian government, by temporarily suspending the account of Ravi Shankar Prasad (Minister of Information Technology). This is very significant, because by suspending the account of the IT minister, Twitter is trying to say that they are above the Indian laws. Also it is interesting to note that Twitter went after someone in the government who is regarded as toothless and weak, rather than going after the heavyweights such as Amit Shah or Yogi Adityanath.
Isn't banning the platform a form of trying to remove the freedom of speech of the people, of course the platform will allow everyone to post about political stuff because they are trying to be inclusive, the real problem is on the individual level, don't participate if you feel like you are offended. Also, that's only your claim that they are above the law, remember that even though their platform is public, Twitter is still a private company and they have control over you in their platform, they agreed to terms and conditions right?
1595  Economy / Economics / Re: Antivirus Pioneer John McAfee Commits Suicide on: June 26, 2021, 05:20:46 AM
I thought he died because of illness. If that's true the  that's really heartbreaking news. Although it wouldn't affect the market, as a human, we'll still feel sad that he ended his life for fear and depression. I think it's because of the threats that he's been hearing and the frustrations that he has in life. It will surely be a hard thing for his family to handle but I hope that they'll be able to surpass it.
It's pretty sad but the suicide angle seems a bit suspicious if you ask some people, there was a post by McAfee in a social media platform before dying that got deleted after the report of suicide which is crazy or maybe coincidental. Remember, Epstein? This was almost the same because Epstein plans to be a whistleblower at that time.
1596  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: (Warning) MicroStrategy Fake Giveaway on: June 26, 2021, 04:00:11 AM
~

This will not stop scammers from using Youtube, because they know that people are looking for stuff to watch on Youtube about Cryptocurrency, it's just that people are too greedy and easily fall into the trap of send me 1 bitcoin and I'll send you 3 BTC, there's no logic on that kind of giveaway, even Elon Musk can do that for real.
I know that but Youtube has to be more proactive than ever against these scammers using their platforms, it may not be their downfall but if they let it proliferate then it will be one of the many causes of their downfall. People won't learn but they won't get scammed if there's no scammer that will exploit their greediness.
1597  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Cryptcoin - Fake team. on: June 26, 2021, 02:39:39 AM
I can not show my expression after seeing this thread.  Grin What a choice of this project team!

We all have already seen a lot of project with fake team.. But this type of shady, unprofessional photos I did not see for other project. Atleast they should waste some time to find a looks professional photo. LOL
They want to make it look like the teams are a quirky group so they try to make the pictures a bit on the weird side, you know how it goes with people that are trying to avoid suspicion, they try to act the most suspicious to dispel the suspicion, kind of like a reverse psychology but that doesn't work for the scam busters on this forum because that only makes you more prone to investigation. Anyways good catch OP.
1598  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: HIRETOKENS: Real Token---Plagiarism whitepaper on: June 25, 2021, 01:36:49 PM
The justswap site also belongs to the fake project, they are both registered under the same name. The justswap may as well be another scam swap site promoting fake projects or they may as well owned by the same Hire.token. I may not have enough proof to back my claims but someone should also look into Justswap.io.

Code:
Justswap.io

Domain Information
Code:
Domain:justswap.io
Registrar:GoDaddy.com, LLC

They seem to be held by the same scammer that are trying to scam people out of their money. Hopefully no one has fallen for this scummy people who don't even put an effort towards their scams which is a good thing but at the same time doesn't make it challenging for their adversaries. Anyways, good catch to everyone who pieced the connection together with this different tokens.
1599  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: (Warning) MicroStrategy Fake Giveaway on: June 25, 2021, 12:50:51 PM
It's good to know that the video was taken down 5 days after posting it here and thanks to those who reported it, we don't know how many people got scam by this, only newbies will, this has been the method ever since, they will ask you to send them a certain amount of coins preferable Bitcoin or Ethereum and they promise you to double that amount, of course, it's fake they will never send you back.
That's still enough time for the scammers to get some victims because they have been playing the video non-stop and a lot of people probably have saw it. Hopefully, Youtube will take action with this too because they should be responsible for removing scams in their platform.
1600  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador started BTC campaign in their country on: June 25, 2021, 08:15:34 AM
This is very extraordinary news, at a time when the price of bitcoin is falling, and the Chinese state is against bitcoin mining, El Salvador has come up with a new step, to introduce bitcoin to its people, this is the first step, and can be said to be a profitable project in the future. ..
Exactly and they are taking care that they will have the public to their side on this by making it a televised appearance. Forget China, many countries will soon follow El Salvador in this campaign and we will eventually replace their output sooner than later.
