There is new update on this process.
Levy has finally accepted Bayern Munich's final offer which is more than 100 million euros with bonuses. Kane must be really happy about leaving Tottenham now. Because this is the only way he can start winning championships before his career comes to an end. But this deal is about to cost Bayern Munich quite a lot.
However as long as Kane is able to show the expected level of performance Bayern Munich wouldn't mind spending this much money. So far the only transfer on which they spend some money has been Kim Min-jae - 50 million euros.
They must have cared about allocating as big budget as possible for Kane transfer.
@jakdanyel though this saga finally ended Kanes wait for a trophy didnt end because Bayern surprisingly lost yesterday but hopefully he can win something by the end of the season. Also coming back to the league matches I was impressed by Newcastle and it looks like that theyll be seriously challenging City and Arsenal for the league title and who knows they may even cause an upset by winning it so what are your thoughts on their title challenge?
Yeah it wasn't a good start for Bayern Munich and Kane but I believe things will get better in time. I didn't expect anything from Kane in that match as he was like instantly in the squad of the match. I didn't even wait for him to be brought to this match I mean.
It would have been a big surprise for me if he scored in this match right away.
Newcastle's start was indeed wonderful. It isn't easy to beat a team managed by Emery like this normally but Newcastle just tore them apart by 5-1. After this start I guess that they will be challenging for top 4 again.
When it comes to a title challenge I think that is too much to ask from Newcastle.
To be able to reach that level they should strengthen the squad with more quality players.
