Now there is an interesting speculation going around about Kane. According to Le Parisien PSG have started to be interested in Kane. It says that Kane is a candidate to fill Messi's place in the starting eleven from now on. Of course we all must have been waiting for PSG to replace Messi with a solid alternative. However I thought first that the player they thought of was Asensio. Because they have been signed and he is playing in the same position with Messi.

Besides Asensio and Kane aren't even playing in the same position. You just can't put Kane on the wing instead of centre-forward position. I wonder if they are planning to have Mbappe on the wing in that case. Mbappe has been playing as centre-forward for a long time but I don't think he would be less effective on the wing either.

I'm sure he is still not very relieved deeply but he wants to be happy about the development in his car at least. Because the current look is definitely way better than the previous season in general. He still can't catch up with Verstappen even a bit though but it is valid when it comes to the other drivers as well. Red Bull is just too dominant.

Aston Martin and Mercedes are the second fastest cars on the grid these days. He must be still happy to be on podium despite not being able to overtake Alonso at the end. Because this is just Hamilton's second podium in a row which is a serious improvement.

I really liked Ferrari in this race. For the first time they didn't mess up and did good with strategies. The drivers had a solid run on mediums for a long time and gained so many positions at the end of the race as well.

Haaland has a release clause to be active by the summer of 2024. It is going to be worth 200 million euros and this amount is going to drop down to 175 million euros in the summer of 2025. As a result Manchester City won't have anything to do about this then. It is going to be up to Haaland and he is open for new adventures after playing for Manchester City for a couple of years.

However I have big doubts that Real Madrid would prefer to sign Haaland instead of Mbappe. First of all Mbappe transfer won't even require a transfer fee if they sign him while he has six months left the most on his contract. After taking the contract demands into account Haaland transfer might still cost more I think.

Apart from that Real Madrid's main target has always been Mbappe so they would prioritize his transfer.

Congratulations to Spain! That was a really hard-fought win for them by penalty shootouts. However I appreciate the performance of each team here. Croatia also put a really big effort into the match to win the title. Above all else none of these sides won the Nations League before so I was expecting a really competitive match in the finale.

It would have been better if we saw some goals before penalty shootouts as well but anyway.    Simon really deserves to be called as the man of the match I think. Because if it weren't for his amazing saves on 2 penalties Spain might not have been the champions maybe. Laporta's targeting the crossbar must have made the fans really nervous but Simon was there again to relieve them.

Haaland is like a goal machine everywhere. Since he was promoted to the main squad of Norway his statistics have been very impressive - 22 goals in 24 official matches. Odegaard hasn't scored so many goals with Norway shirt maybe but we all know how much he has improved his game recently. I can see midfielder and forward quality is decent and that's all.

Maybe one can expect or hope Haaland to carry this team with his goals but it is still not enough while the general quality isn't very impressive. The team play isn't adequate enough and we have seen its examples since the beginning of the Euro 2024 qualifiers. They couldn't do anything against Spain. They struggled too much against Scotland and Georgia as well.

I'm not sure if Norway can do much better but it depends on if there is a coach out there who can manage this team better than this.

I'm curious about what kind of transfers Bayern Munich will be making this summer. I have checked Transfermarkt about rumours related to them and interestingly haven't seen anything related to a centre-forward. It looks like they are prioritizing a left-back, right-back, centre-back and a midfielder right now. The recent rumours are all about these positions.

The latest centre-forward rumour was in late May and Vlahovic was the name rumoured with them. This makes me think like Bayern Munich don't have any plans to splurge on a centre-forward this summer. Because there is an alternative like Osimhen as well but his price tag must be around 130 million euros.

On the other hand Vlahovic might cost around 70-80 million euros I guess. Besides he is also really young and skilled. I think he could also be the right choice for them.

Arda Guler's popularity continues to increase day by day. His name has started to be heard of more in Europe thanks to the news made about him. Fabrizio Romano tweeted about him a couple of times and some well-known meme-making accounts on Twitter have also started to include him in their memes. Especially after bigger teams' hearing about his release clause's being only 17.5 million euros it is really difficult for Fenerbahce to keep him longer.

It is still okay for PSG to continue their domination in the Ligue 1 if Mbappe is the only player kept in the attacking trio next season. But in case they sell him this summer they could be in a really dangerous situation. They can just lose their high dominance even in this league. They can have really serious difficulties and this can pave the way for the rest of the teams to become champions.

This is actually good for people who like to watch a real competition for the title but it would be the opposite for PSG fans of course. PSG have a lot of money to build a new trio there as well. But they will need to work really hard to sign players who can have a good chemistry and bring more success. After Mbappe's most recent statement about not extending his contract they had better start thinking about it already now.

There are two years left on Odegaard's contract now and he answered a question about his contract like in the image. He says that there is still a long time but 2 years is not that long for a player in my opinion. He is a wonderful talent and his performance this season just mesmerized me. He took a big responsibility about scoring many goals just like a striker.

This must be the most profitable transfer for Arsenal recently. Because they signed him for 35 million euros and his current market value is 80 million. His high effort has resulted in really well so far. Bayern Munich, PSG and Barcelona were interested in him according to rumours but it was around the end of May.

If there is still serious interest from even one of these teams Arsenal can have big difficulties in keeping him longer.

I wonder if we can see Verstappen in a Ferrari car in the future. There must be 4 or 5 years on his new contract now and I don't expect him to decide to leave Red Bull in this time period. Something big should just happen like Red Bull's dropping down from the title race for Verstappen to think of his future earlier. But I don't think such thing will happen that easy.

Because we have just entered this new era in Formula 1 and I don't think there would be a path-breaking change in the sport for so many years. Red Bull should be able to keep being strong as long as they develop the car regularly. However after Verstappen's contract starts to close in on ending then maybe he might decide to look for a new adventure and who knows maybe the rumours about Ferrari would come true. 

Verstappen already says that he doesn't have any target like breaking the championship record. So he might not mind a change then even if Red Bull still continue to be the number one team then.

Brazil were really a big disappointment in last World Cup by not even being able to go beyond the quarter finals. They had technically much stronger players than Croatia but they still couldn't. In my opinion that's because of not having a good management. Tite couldn't bring any significant success to the team despite being the coach for 6 years.

His only achievement is a Copa America trophy in the 2018/2019 season. I don't even have any idea why Brazil board didn't even sack him much before. Maybe the World Cup title would have been achieved with a great squad like this. Ramon Menezes must be the temporary manager now because he was managing the U20 team.

I hope they can find the right coach for themselves to get prepared really strongly for next World Cup.

Liverpool completed the season with only an FA Community Shield trophy which was played at the beginning of the season. Their performances in other tournaments weren't that impressive I'm afraid. This even caused them to be out of top 4 in the EPL. Now the expectation from Klopp will be really big in especially the most prestigious tournaments.

Liverpool will have 2 options to join back the Champions League:

- Finishing in top 4 in the EPL
- Winning the Europa League title

If they improve much more until next season starts then they would most probably finish in top 4 in their league. In that case I wonder how competitive they would be for the Europa League title. But a trophy is always a trophy. 

If Croatia got ahead first maybe we might not have watched this many goals in regular time. Because they are generally really good at maintaining an advantage over their opponents. Yes Gvardiol isn't in the lineup today unfortunately but they have still done a good job with balancing the weakness in defense with being more effective in scoring goals.

We watched a completely different second half for Croatia. Finding the equalizer early improved their self-confidence and in a really nice time they got even ahead by 2-1. But what a great moment for Netherlands that they extended the match to extra time by a goal in the last moments.

Now these are exactly Croatia's times in my opinion. My bet is on Croatia to win by extra time/penalty shootouts.

Florentino Perez said that Real Madrid were going to sign Mbappe but not this summer. However the coming days might still change this situation. Because as you said PSG board are determined about not letting him go for free. But while there is no chance to convince Mbappe after that statement of him there is only one choice left.

PSG will need to sell Mbappe as soon as possible. Otherwise they would have no chance left after the new season starts. Because he will be much closer to be available for contract offer from other teams. Honestly PSG owner is very rich so they shouldn't worry about letting him go for free.

I know that they are paying a huge amount of money for Mbappe's contract now so they want a consolation amount against that. But they really need Mbappe for being competitive for the Champions League next season. I don't know if they can find a great replacement in a short time.

Arda Güler konusuna Dortmund'un 20 milyon euro üzerinde bir teklif yapacağı iddiaları dönüyordu ama ne kadar doğrudur bilmiyorum. Hatta Fenerbahçe daha fazla para talep ediyormuş. Tabi ki amacım kimseyi hemen abartmak değil ama bence Arda gerçekten yetenekli bir çocuk. Sadece Türkiye futbolunun içerisinde kalmaya devam ettiği sürece kendini geliştirebileceği maksimum seviye fazla yüksek değil.

Bu yüzden ben onun yerinde olsam futbolumu kat kat geliştirip potansiyelime daha rahat ulaşabileceğim bir takıma giderim. Dortmund normalde tam da böyle bir yer ama Arda'ya ne kadar şans verirler orasını şimdiden bilemem. Alman asıllı Türk oyuncular şu ana kadar bu gibi takımlarda oynayıp fazlasıyla şans bulmuşlardı (örneğin Nuri Şahin).

Mane has been brought here with big hopes. After Lewandowski's leaving Bayern Munich people were wondering what the board were going to do about this situation. Honestly I was expecting to see a big striker transfer. But instead they decided to make do with Mane instead and rely on him to keep the team productive.

However he couldn't perform well in times he played as a centre-forward. Because he is a winger you know. You just can't simply expect him to adapt to being a solid scorer as a striker. Whenever he was put on the left wing he made bigger contribution. But in general this season didn't went well for Mane indeed.

There is really a probability for Mane to leave now. He has been saying things about being in a Muslim country so he might really take such offer and leave this summer.
