I'm happy to see that Minamino has found a team for himself in which he can have a much bigger playing time. His last season performance was really good when he had the opportunity and this must have been effective for Monaco to make a clear decision about him. Minamino isn't an old player also (27). He can serve the team long years as long as he doesn't have serious problems. He has played in Japan, Austria and the UK so far but not in France. It is going to be a new atmosphere for him but I believe he will adapt there also.

I reckon that the Lewandowski deal is still likely to happen for Barcelona. The reason I think in this way is that I've heard Manchester United convinced Barcelona for an offer to Frenkie de Jong finally. The details of the offer is said to be 65 million euros fee + 20 million euros add-ons. If Barcelona sell de Jong like this then they can raise funds very much and they would have a stronger hand to sign Lewandowski. He is their main target seemingly. Bayern Munich might have a harder time to keep him as of now even though he has one more year to go on his current contract.

According to the news on Goal.com, Juventus are opening talks with Nicolo Zaniolo now. He is a 22-year-old big talent for Roma and he is valued around 33 million euros in the transfer market currently according to Transfermarkt. So far in his career, he had two serious injuries in the 19/20 and 20/21 seasons. His being injury prone might scare Juventus a little but it looks like they are going for him anyway. It would be a wonderful transfer for Juventus together with signing Paul Pogba also. Zaniolo is a right winger normally but he can play even as a second striker too. After releasing Dybala this might come in handy for them.

Benzema's wonderful season started to make me think like whether he will be the winner of Ballon d'Or also. I don't think that I'm exaggerating this too because Benzema was definitely one of the most impressive players in the world. In addition to his successes with Real Madrid in one season, his performance about scoring goals and making assists both was incredible. I don't think that either Messi or Ronaldo will manage to win it this time. I would put Benzema to the top and Lewandowski to the second place for Ballon d'Or considering last season.

Arsenal have spent quite a lot money so far. After signing Fabio Vieira for 35 million euros they have completed the Gabriel Jesus deal for like 52 million euros too. It is really delightful to watch them making these moves and they seem like they are just starting. This was necessary for them indeed otherwise I was seeing another hard to predict season for them. Now I can at least be sure that they are going to bring a solid fight for finishing the season in top 4. Arsenal must keep this performance level from now on not to go back to their bad times again.

As you know Jesse Lingard is leaving Manchester United in three days as his contract is expiring. It looks like there are three teams planning to transfer him. These teams are claimed to be West Ham, Milan and Juventus. We can see a really tough race between these teams. I think West Ham have a good advantage in this race also because he already played for them on loan and his performance was really delightful. Maybe he would like to move on from where he left off. But the other candidates are also not teams that can be refused easily. We will see what's in his mind currently.

We still don't know what Christian Eriksen will do after his contract expires in three days. Manchester United were thinking of a signing but I've heard that Eriksen responded negatively to their interest in him. This made me surprised too because I thought that Eriksen would like to play for a bigger team like them. Maybe this was only against Manchester United and his answer would be different for another big team. I guess we will never find out about it until another big team go for him. By the way Brentford are also willing to sign him for a long time but Eriksen would stay already if he wanted to play for them longer.
828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2022 Group Stage Highlights on: June 27, 2022, 08:41:27 PM
There is a feeling inside me like that we will see the biggest teams of South America doing something in the World Cup this time. These teams are obviously Argentina and Brazil. One of them can even win the World Cup title also. I see a huge potential in both of these teams and I think Brazil are a little ahead of Argentina now. Their last head-to-head ended up with a 0-0 draw in the World Cup qualifiers but I like Brazil's style more. They had a more successful qualifier stage than Argentina also. I wouldn't say no to seeing Brazil winning the title.

I wonder whether Chelsea were after signing Gabriel Jesus too. Because it looks like they are going to be in need of a good quality striker as they are close to reaching an agreement with Inter for Lukaku. The number of chances is decreasing in time and Chelsea must start acting faster. I guess there is no hindrance for them to make signings anymore. Because they seem being interested in some players already like de Ligt for their defense.

Besides, it must be feeling great for Arsenal to reach the final stage for Gabriel Jesus deal without any problem too. If they didn't succeed in signing him maybe we weren't going to see a that much quality striker in their lineup next season.

We are getting interesting news these days. Barcelona have submitted an offer for Lewandowski finally seemingly. However I wonder what Bayern Munich's answer to them is going to be. They must be looking for an alternative to fill his place on one hand. But they would still do their best not to lose Lewandowski this summer. He still has one more year left on his contract and Bayern Munich can even think of forcing him to stay. I wonder if it would backfire for them too but we will see. Barcelona must be feeling confident about convincing the player at least.

I started seeing the probability of Zidane to manage PSG as lower now. It depends on whether he goes for the France job actually. Deschamps' contract is running on December 31, 2022. Therefore Zidane is going to need to be patient until the World Cup ends. However I wonder if France are even thinking of parting their ways with Deschamps too. Maybe they will extend his contract depending on his success in the tournament. If we take this into account I reckon PSG will continue with Pochettino or maybe they will sign an unexpected name.

When it comes to the Lewandowski situation, it is still quite ambiguous. Recent news say that he is still determined to leave Bayern Munich. I have heard about another thing also that Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic is going to talk to Lewandowski face-to-face to try to convince him to stay here. It doesn't seem like he can be successful about convincing him now. Bayern Munich will just hope for him not to reach an agreement with any other team in the summer. But there are quite many teams trying to sign him currently.

I believe Bayern Munich made a great move by signing Liverpool winger Mane. Because Mane has performed very well for Liverpool so far. Liverpool didn't want to sell him as long as another team make the offer that they would be okay to accept. Bayern Munich's initial offer was quite low but they didn't give up on this signing and reached an agreement finally. Bayern Munich have only Leroy Sane as left winger now so it was important for Bayern Munich to finish this deal successfully. If he doesn't have any adaptation problem he can take Sane's place in the starting eleven.

Warriors didn't have one of their most impressive seasons actually. I saw some other teams being more promising than them to achieve the championship. But they still managed to achieve it at the end of the final series. I found Celtics more impressive than them before the final series actually as I really liked their defense especially. Warriors still benefited from their high experience in the recent years and managed to keep Celtics away from the championship one more season. It's been 15 years for Celtics now.

Adeyemi is also a very young and talented striker like Erling Haaland. But I don't think that he has a bigger potential than Haaland now. We will find out about it soon too after new season starts. One season doesn't prove everything of course but it would still give us some opinion. We will see what Haaland will do in a completely different league and under a different system too. The Premier League is much fiercer than the Bundesliga and Guardiola has a unique system to himself.

I don't expect Barcelona to make many transfers in the summer and their finance wouldn't let them do so too. They would focus on only necessary positions to strengthen now. This can really cause them to be more disadvantageous against Real Madrid indeed. But making many transfers doesn't guarantee anything for any team at the same time. Winning the title still depends on that team to have a solid team play. I still think that Real Madrid can be one step ahead but I'm expecting a close fight between them and Barcelona too.
You and me have the same thought at this time about barcelona, indeed strengthening the team to face next season is an important thing to do, but I think barcelona should stabilize their finances first at this time instead of chasing new players for next season, the squad that barcelona has this season has actually been pretty good and it's proven if they can finish the season in second place, I think this season they can actually compete in the La Liga championship but Koeman bad strategy made them fall far behind at the start of the season.

Koeman caused the team to have serious problems in the La Liga and the Champions League both. But Xavi has been a huge help for Barcelona to improve themselves in a short time. They didn't care about the Europa League of course but their performance in the La Liga started to be very impressive. They even defeated that much powerful Real Madrid in Bernabeu like 4-0 also. Taking all these into account we can still say that Barcelona can fight hard for the La Liga title even if they don't bring many players.

Di Maria is still a solid player and he can contribute nicely to any team he goes to. He is leaving PSG soon and he is rumoured to join Juventus this summer. I think that it would be a good signing for Juventus as I believe that Di Maria can be beneficial for one or two seasons at least. Juventus want to get stronger in attacking and in their midfield also. Di Maria would be a nice addition to their wing. He might be criticized because of being 34 years old now but I don't think this would hinder him from performing good.
