161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CNL] ConcealCoin | No Premine | 24 hours POW! LAUNCHED! BITTREX! on: July 19, 2014, 08:50:39 PM
270+/- block left in POW and the explorer says 9,121,000 coins right now

ANN says only 8.5 million

SO HOW MANY COINS WILL THERE REALLY BE??

------------ EDIT ------------

OK guys, the CNL ann is wrong. 2880 POW blocks @ 3500 CNL each.... thats 10,080,000 coins. not 8.5million

D-do you even lift?

I'm a little worried that this coin dev cannot even calculate total coins right

OMG enough with the FUD you fucking morons. Its called POS. POS started at block 2000, there will obviously be more than 8.5mil coins because of POS...

I made your text smaller to emphasis how stupid what you said is.  PoS blocks stealing away PoW blocks during the PoW period will only further reduce the supply of coins.  Instead of a PoW miner being awarded 3500 coins, a PoS miner steals away that block and gets a couple coins.  If PoS were having an effect, there should be even LESS coins right now, not more.  And please, even if you did understand how this all works, just quick do the math in your head.  How is PoS going to produce 1.5 million extra coins in one day?
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NUD ₦ ] New Universal Dollar | Bcrypt | 0% Pre-mine | First Anonymous Crypto on: July 19, 2014, 07:37:52 PM
Julian!

Lock me in for .1 BTC and 500 NUD toward a bounty for an external miner.  I will register for the NUD forum later and post it there as well.

why no build a nud foundation.

Managed by whom and for what purpose?  The way I see it, anyone who is in this thread and supporting NUD is the foundation.

NUD needs further development to grow, incentives encourage development, hence collecting bounties to give further incentive to develop what NUD needs will do far more good than creating some useless NUD foundation.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [RIOT] RiotCoin - X13 - POS Only - Updates Soon - Sell on Bittrex on: July 19, 2014, 07:15:47 PM
Dev update

Hello all,

I haven't disappeared, I also haven't sold a single coin.

My  2 BTC buy order is at 2000 satoshi, if you would like to sell your coins at these undervalued prices, I would be happy to buy them.

Smiley

Updates/news are coming. I am not in a massive rush or in a wild craze to earn a couple btc. Let us give those with some interest some time to gather cheap RIOT.

If you would like to speed up the process help please tweet and/or message in the ANN of https://coinmarketcap.com/ to get RIOT listed - this is the next step.

Thanks!

dev is scamer!

dev's wallet address:RFbvCYNTwy6o2oL1BZsr9cKUCFWE7iu4qt
http://chainz.cryptoid.info/riot/address.dws?RFbvCYNTwy6o2oL1BZsr9cKUCFWE7iu4qt.htm

Sure that isn't bittrex?  I don't see any reason to believe that is the dev.

You can check the first one, the second block, the third block.... to which address, you still want to believe a scamer yet again??

ORRRRR you can look back on this thread and see that all the blocks were going to SUCHPOOL and NOT the Developer.

To easy for folks to throw out "Scammer" at everything without having researched it properly.

Now the fact that Developer shows up every 5 days may be an issue.

Ahhh....this makes sense.  Suchpool pounded this coin from block 1.  There was some instamining on RIOT, and the dev may have gotten in on it, but everyone else had as much opportunity as the dev because that was not solo mined.

guys nue is just created for nud, will bring nud a well-know reputation soon.

why no download their wallet and have a look?

there are many miners join it now. seem that will be added on bittrex in days.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=700856.0

and i am still a nud fan. nud is far better than dark.we all suppose our nud dev is the a great genius.

We don't want it.  Wait for NUD community to grow first.  Splintering the already small community and starting clones is not helpful.  We all need to focus on NUD.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NUD ₦ ] New Universal Dollar | Bcrypt | 0% Pre-mine | First Anonymous on: July 19, 2014, 07:03:37 PM

Due to the overwhelming evidence of c-cex not paying out members, stealing BTC and other cryptocurrencies we will not support the exchange nor feature it in the official topic as we do not endorse services which could potentially be extremely damaging to our coin, especially this early on.

Please be careful and trade with caution.

Oooh damn.  C-cex lost support of the biggest coin of 2014 due to dishonesty.  See what happens when you are dishonest? (I'm looking at you, username Swag)
BTW, please nobody be naive like me and deal with Swag.  He ripped me off for .5 BTC.

and the man x8008,his email is x8008@gmail.com...what a fucking liar.

we need a normal and big exchange now.

I've got some personal information on him.  I wanted to give him a chance to make things right before releasing/acting on it.
Everybody not involved: sorry for the intrusion

I come upon this thread and I am glad that I get more info about C-cex today.

I have been using C-cex for trading for a few months without problem until the site delisted UFO Coins alongside with several other Coins. (The UFO Coin was just listed on the C-cex exchange about a month ago.) I went to the Delist Coins section and made a request to withdraw my UFO Coins ASAP. So far, No action for about 10 days. I just sent out a ticket 24 hours ago; no action.

The posted information at the Delist Coin section of the C-cex states that

"After delisting You can request withdraw here but we don't guarantee fast withdrawal and don't guarantee withdrawal of delisted coins at all (depends on time when it was delisted). Usually we have 1 delisted coins withdrawal session per month."

The UFO Coin blockchain has been running well and there is no reason that C-cex cannot do the requested transfer of "my coins" from their UFO Coin wallet to my UFO Coin wallet address. Maybe they think they are waiting for the Coins to die out and if they wait long enough, they might not need to do any thing at all. But in my opinion, it would not happen at all.

I start to think that Cryptocoins should be strictly anomynous, but the exchanges should be highly regulated or at least certified voluntarily; otherwise, this highly advanced revolution of currencies won't go anywhere.

The C-cex should not think that they are only taking away someone's lunch money or stealing somebody's pizza from their lunch box (when the pizza was bought with Bitcoin several years ago Huh)

I will join force with NUD Coin; I will also do my best to fight shitty things that might occur at any unscrupulous exchange sites.

Thanks.

Sweet!  Good to have ya on the NUD team!

Unfortunately I see we have another victim of c-cex.  I would be shocked if you got your coins back.  In any event if they can return them there is no reason to make you wait.  Sure those UFO coins weren't worth much now, but who knows what the future will hold?  I imagine one day far in the future, many of these coins that are virtually worthless today will be worth alot to the right person.  The alt scene goes through its booms and busts, but I am of the belief that in the end only BTC (and NUD of course  Wink) will be left standing.  I see the alt scene not as it is today, with all the trading and mining, but in 30 years there will be crypto collectors, just like people collect comic books and baseball cards.  Decades from now you could be scanning these forums and some millionaire collector with money to burn is desperately looking for UFO coins!!!  It's the last coin he just can't find, everyone else has long ago deleted their wallets, and he will pay anything to have a stash of UFO coins to complete his collection of 2014 alt-coins!!

It maybe far fetched, but like you mentioned, the guy that paid 10,000 bitcoins for a pizza would have called you crazy if you said one day 1 BTC will break 1000$.

In any event, you were a customer and it is not their place to decide your coins are worthless and toss them out.  Bittrex at least sends you an email and gives you ample time to withdrawal your coins if you wish.

Yes, C-cex is a bunch of thieving bastards with zero loyalty to their customers.  If they fuck up (and they will because they are incompetent 3rd world assholes) they will ignore you and close your account rather than pay you back.   They owe me 3 BTC, and stole the collection of random alts I held there.  Feel free to distribute this pastebin http://pastebin.com/uTDTTyFP

I keep meaning to add to it, because I know there are more complaints out there, that was just what I threw together in 10 minutes of googling and searching bitcointalk.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CNL] ConcealCoin | No Premine | 24 hours POW! LAUNCHED! BITTREX! on: July 19, 2014, 05:44:12 PM
Wow, I have never seen Cryptsy add a coin so fast.  I think Mintpal and Cryptsy are getting tired of watching new coins pump on Bittrex or Poloniex.  They are getting the reputation as "the place coins go to die" because the pump already happens before they list the coin!  Plus, Bittrex has grown so quickly, the paradigm we all grew so accustomed to for the lifecycle of a coin is broken.  It was always random no volume shit exchanges (c-cex, allcoin, coinswap, etc) to Bittrex or Poloniex to Mintpal (concludes the pump and begins the dump) to Cryptsy (where it slowly dies).   Coins can now do just fine without ever leaving Bittrex.  Cryptsy and Mintpal are losing ground and they know it, gotta shake things up!

fucking C-Cex my withdrawel is stuck and there is no support.

I keep trying to warn people about those pricks.  Hope they don't lose it, they will just close your account and pretend it never happened.

Sorry, I was just being a jackass.  Did you ever sync?  Are you stuck on a certain block?  Do you have nodes?

I've never had a problem with this wallet syncing so idk.

Do we get to know the time of the launch, or is it just gonna randomly launch sometime on the 19th?
171  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3 Discussion and Support Thread. on: July 19, 2014, 05:14:21 PM
for me the beep occurs once every three hours right when the network switches to a new block.
I increased the difficulty from 256 to 512.  It been 3 hours and no beep yet...

Several pages back when the B1 started arriving some investigation determined the random beeps occurs when there is a HW error.

The plot thickens.  Grin

One of my S3s reports 14,478 HW (I don't think I believe it) while another beside it reports 66 HW (might match the total number of beeps heard). They report 31,614 and 32,399 Accepted respectively, which I'm inclined to believe from the pool stats.

I haven't opened a case yet - gotta do unrelated things for a few hours.

Edit: detail I forgot to mention - both have "Beeper ringing" set to False and I'm not sure whether one or both actually make(s) the sounds.

Edit: more detail - both of mine have been running at 256 difficulty. They can go well over 3 hours without a beep though, then might have a few beeps in quick succession. I'll try 512 in any case.

If it's the same as the S1, you can't go by the raw numbers alone.  They use this convoluted formula for some reason.  I remember having an S1 that had ridiculous numbers for HW errors, I was sure it was faulty.  When I plugged everything into this formula and did the math, turns out I was getting like 0.003% HW errors.  I found a handy calculator.  http://www.coincadence.com/antminer-s1-hardware-error/

On another topic, am I also to assume the overclocking procedures are the same as the S1?  My S3's seem to be stabilizing around 440GHs which is a bit of an improvement but still low.  Wanna see what happens when I crank them up a bit.

Guys my wallet out of sync what can i do

It just appears to be out of sync.  In reality you are synced and your wallet functions just fine.  That is the PseudoSync feature.  Pretty sweet huh?

Nah, I'm just fucking with you.  Idk, find some nodes.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DigitalCoin.Co | Secure. Established. Active Development | v2.0 Released! on: July 19, 2014, 01:39:47 PM
I just saw the digitalcoin thread on page 1 of the alt ANN and I had a moment of nostalgia.  I haven't thought about digitalcoin in ages.  I remember it was Cryptsy's first shining star when they were THE alt exchange.  So many of these scrypt alts from spring/summer 2013 fading into obscurity.  Hope digitalcoin can remain relevant in the years to come.
174  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3 Discussion and Support Thread. on: July 19, 2014, 12:59:18 PM
Got both my S3's from batch 1 yesterday.  They both averaged around 425GHs, but I had them both hooked up with just 2 PCI-E connectors on each on 1 850 watt power supply.  Figured maybe they wanted more juice so have them both on their own power supplies with 4 PCI-E a piece now and it's only been an hour or so, but they look to be hovering around the same level.  This seems to be a common theme.

Boy, I have a lot of respect of bitmain and they are so loved in the BTC community, but they really seem to have dropped the ball on the S3 launch.  Batch 1 orders not shipping for a week and units consistently coming in a good 10% under the stated 478GHs.

tor ar tri, this 3 new coins have all finished the anon feature, which nud want to finish but still not release.

Dev has already said that the anon feature has been released and is fully functional and surpasses any coins abilities in regards to anonymity, he has also said that he could further improve it. How is it "not finished"?

Quote
From OP:
(You need to install Tor yourself and turn your wallet into a hidden service)
But tor ar tri don't need to install Tor myself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jesus christ, who cares?  No one gives a damn what you are doing with your coins.  You are sending them to bittrex.  Ohhhh......how did I know that?  The NSA and I are hot on your trail pal!

Anonymity is there for those who actually need it, which are few and far between.  All those coins are doing nothing but routing network traffic through TOR.  Every clone coin from here on out will do it because it's retard easy to do and wows people who don't know any better.  Nothing has been stopping you or anyone else from setting up their BTC wallet to connect to TOR via SOCKS proxy.  OMG!!  BTC on TOR!!!  Yes, you've had that option forever now.

I had too many questions.  I had to know for sure.  For the good of the community, I went straight to the source, and asked the most advanced artificial intelligence I could find.  Well, there you have it folks.  RobotSexNickels is not a scam, but maybe robots won't use it to pay each other for sex?  I'm not sure, he was a bit evasive.

177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Robot Sex Nickels RSN | 600 years of Scrypt PoW | Anon via TOR on: July 19, 2014, 07:05:20 AM
POW时间长一点就值钱啊.垃圾
Do you think you make the POW time longer will make this coin to be valuable or something??
I
don't
think
so!!

Yes, it's ridiculous.  Do you think the Terminator wants to pay his whores with some crappy blockchain based crypto developed by the same humans he seeks to eradicate?  Clearly a superior artificial intelligence would come up with a better solution in 600 years.  This coin is based on a flawed premise.  Stop mining!!

Soooo......is this coin meant for robots to pay each other for sex?  Or humans to pay robots for sex?  There a a crucial difference, and I am pretty sure most humans will have their minds uploaded into a fully virtual environment in 600 years and be able to bang their waifu in the matrix, so there will be little needs for human/robot sexual relations.

I am just trying to figure out if there is a solid business plan behind RobotSexNickels because I don't want to waste my hashes on some fly by night scam coin.

u can send money through the tor... pretty cool.

That doesn't answer my questions.

Devs, do you plan on building a payment processor to support use of this coin for human/waifu virtual relations or not?

Jesus, so unprofessional.  I shouldn't even need to ask these sorts of questions.  This sort of information should be in the ANN.

if u dont like. dont mine.... pretty simple.

Wow.  I see my sense of humor only makes me laugh or just doesn't transfer well through text.

Anyway, I just noticed the "no humans" line in the ANN.  So it is for robot/robot sex.  At least I know what I am getting into now.

Soloing this right now!
