We are having some difficulties with our license provider and since we use same provider on both sites, both stake and primedice are affected. We just reached out to them and we are working on resolving this ASAP.

Please be patient I will give you all some ETA as soon as we have it.

Thank you for understanding.

It's funny how so many are freaking out haha... Stake has been for many years, specially primedice so I don't know why people are so worried over this little technical issue. Besides guys, you were gonna bust that money anyway so why fear xD just kidding, just wait and it will be online again.

Everybody stuck at home wants to gamble.

Joking aside, you guys have nothing to worry about, our wallets are fine our servers are fine. This is problem on licence provider side and we are working on it.

Do you have any ETA?

Unfortunately not up to us because issue seems to be on the side of license provider so i cant give any ETA before i hear back from them again.

One thing I noticed on Stake.com is that they are not giving tutorials or manuals, explaining to new users how their games work. So, if you are new to say Sports betting, you will not know what to do. I approached their support staff and they acknowledged that and said that they are willing to teach new people how to use the different games, if they get stuck.

I think that takes away support from people who actually have game based problems and a quick tutorial on each game would not take a lot of time to implement. What do you guys think.... should they create tutorials for every game for the newbies?

Hey,

Sportsbetting has been around for ages and there should be tons of tutorials around. But if you ask our support they will also provide you with good tutorials. We actually have one very nice presentation that was made by our sportsbook manager for our customer support team training on sports. I think that would be helpful to you.

As for other games we made quite some tutorials and uploaded to youtube unfortunately youtube is not very friendly towards gambling lately Cheesy

You can always ask our support and they will do their best to assist you.

3% kad btc dnevno pravi vece oscilacije nije puno,I ja sam za ni zrno zita okupatoru ali sem otc nemamo bolji nacin

Ovo mi se svidja "ja sam za ni zrno zita okupatoru" haha, dobro si me nasmejao! Smiley

I have not logged in for a while and now it says "Something went wrong...." it looks like it's just hanging. At the top it says I am logged in, but the games are not responsive.   Sad

What is the preferred web browser for this site? I am using the latest version of Firefox, but it's still giving these errors with Google Chrome. In any way, I will try on another desktop to rule out the OS and browser and then I will get back to you.

Just thought I would mention it here, if someone else experienced the same thing? We have had some Internet problems in our area lately and the line speed is considerably slower now, but my other sites are working fine. <What is the minimum recommended line speed for the site to work?Huh
I had experienced same problem with primedice. What I found is, even it showed that I am logged in, it was not allowing me to gamble or to access my wallet. Simply logging out and log-in back solved my problem with primedice.

Stake showed me many times like "new version available. refresh your browser/site or something like that". If you have tried on both firefox and chrome not newly logged-in (just tried to continue with your already logged session), then please log out and check again by freshly logging-in. It may work as per what I had experienced.

Yeah it could be that sesion just expired. Loging out or clearing cashe and cookies will always solve this issue.

I personally use chrome on all my devices but any browser should work. Except maybe internet explorer we havent optimized for it but it still should work.

Since symphonized is here and talked about the price for second time in a row this time, for the last time could you please tell us if the price has anything to do with wagering amounts? I do not mean just in bitcoin terms because I am sure back in the day when bitcoin was 200-300 bucks there was more bitcoins gambled which is obvious, however I want to know in dollar terms, when bitcoin was 7k just a month or two months ago, how much dollar was gambled on average per day versus now at over 10k how much dollar is gambled?

I know you want to know what we do when bitcoin price goes up but that is a two way street and I would love to hear what you guys do when price goes up as well, if you guys get a lot more people gambling, if you guys get less money gambled, like what happens when prices change?
For me the price of BTC affects the amount that I gamble.
I would always compute how much would I gamble in our currency,
Since I also set my goal in our currency not on BTC.
But I think there are some who doesn't change the amount that they would deposit and only counts on the outcome of their play.

I think that is correct way to do it. It's easy to forget how much you are gambling when you are placing btc bets as 0.1 0.01 of btc.

Taking into account how BTC is trending right now, the amount these guys wagered with yesterday was insane but at least they got lucky and did not lose. Though still I'm not sure I can be this generous with my one-at-a-time bets...I suppose this won't be problem had I not had to worry about how much I lose
Truely there are whales who are willing to deposit and lose a big amount of bitcoin even when it is going up. Like for those who have coins in store and want to play now that they have time they would not even bother looking at the price of bitcoin but making more so they can sell at a good profit in bigger volume and probably make up a past loss.

Now these may be specific cases but for the occasional gambler seeing bitcoin price rise should raise a conservative approach concept. They would want to hold on to their btc to trade than gamble.

We haven't noticed huge difference in wagered when price is going up or down.

People dont seem to think much about the price when gambling.

We only notice difference when its huge jump in price in very short time.

Is it true that Stake does not recommend using VPN? Because about 90% of my internet use is on VPN. The reason that nobody needs any reason to use VPN is also not valid,,, as pointed out, internet censorship means we all have the right to use VPN to access places. Plus we all have the right to privacy and not to let our information be recorded without our permission.

We do not recommend and don't allow using VPN from countries that we have blocked traffic from. If you are from any of the forbidden countries you are violating our ToS regardless if you are using VPN or not.

Other than that we don't have anything against VPN, i personally do not like it. Yes it does provide some privacy from the end site but at the same time you are providing your information and relaying it through third party which is VPN. So i'm not sure if risk outweighs reward.

Big popular VPN services should be safe though.

We rly don't recommend our users to use VPN and there is rly no reason why you should use VPN, its unnecessary risk for your data.

We rly don't suggest our users to use vpn and there is rly no reason to do so.
Did you know that Russians must use VPN to get access to stake.com? It was blocked by Roskomnadzor half year ago and still in the RKN blacklist: https://reestr.rublacklist.net/record/1252396/

Yes, I am aware of this.

Russia is not a forbidden country so you are not violating our ToS if you use VPN to access stake from Russia.

After more then two years i finally know why I am muted on PrimeDice. At least they try to give me a reason.

So it seems I have insult support? When I had some argue with MICRO back in those days when the support of PD wasn't that great. Like blocking mail addresses to make a ticket (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uto1JBdfEEU) or took ages to respond (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=208986.msg16084758#msg16084758). So was this really the reason that i was muted?

@1982dre so let me get this straight you went back to PD after two years to find out why you were muted?, why didn’t you try reaching out to them earlier with a request that it won’t happen again?. Also I don’t think so anyone out here can confirm if those are the reasons you were muted, and if you wish to be unmuted then I would advise you to contact PD representatives out here and try and sort it out with them I’m sure they’ll help you out.

I tried it before and even some mods couldn't find out why I was muted but I wasn't that much active on PD so didn't put to much time in it to find out. First time i found out was when i came back on PD after a few months so probably something happened in the meanwhile with my account.

Strangest thing is that i dont get a message that i am muted but a message that 'something went wrong.'

Wow. You came back after 2 years Cheesy

I think you definitely deserve to be unmuted mate Smiley

PM me your username and il see what i can do.
