The sites that host these services are loaded with malicious links, back doors and tricks to access people’s digital and financial information, giving professional criminals an open invitation to steal from anyone who engages in these activities.
It is loaded with ads. Also your information is not safe as the streamers are selling your information to third party. Not only this, it is just like those free VPN and other free services loaded with ads and sharing people's information with third parties for money. I try as much as possible to stay away from ads and other things like this. Ads can contain malware or link you to a site that contains malware.

Wow. I didn't know about that. Do you think all of them free VPN services are like that?
163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now that Bitcoin halving have been completed, what next? on: May 02, 2024, 10:31:01 AM
  • What path will Bitcoin chose following the halving

If you mean price-wise, it can take some time to have a certain answer to that. The previous Bitcoin halving happened on May 11, 2020. The price of 1 BTC was less than $10k then. It had taken more than half a year before we hit a new ATH and it'd taken another 3 months to reach anything above $60k. So, I mean, it not always happens right after the halving, but it happens eventually, that's what can be said.

  • If this will lead to more people getting involved in Bitcoin

I have absolutely no doubt about that. Look at the stats:

219 million? Are you kidding me? We'll be over 1 billion before the next halving I'm sure.

Yes it is and maybe simply lending money to gamblers to gamble is indirectly like you are encouraging and directing them to a much worse situation based on the idea of “helping”, on the other hand I understand that helping is a good action which is a fact that we as humans are obliged to help each other, but it is a mature mindset if you first think about the various bad effects that will befall them before you lend the money.

We have to have a mature mindset indeed to not be like someone who's giving a rope to someone who wants to end his life. Not everything that is asked from you should be given right away, we must take our time to think at least a minute.

Lending money is not forbidden but we must think rationally and if for example we know that their intention and purpose of borrowing is to gamble then it is clearly better not to lend it because another thing to worry about is the possibility that they will not pay their debts because someone who is addicted usually they will always prioritize their gambling activities when they have money compared to paying their debts to others which means it is clearly likely that you will not be able to get your money back.

Instead of lending to them money we should try to make them think straight. If we see that we are unable to do that, we should suggest going to a professional. We should try to do everything we can to prevent them from risking money again.

Sadly, a lot of loan shark target gamblers specifically for giving a loan since they always ask for collateral that is over value to the loan amount so that they will always at profit regardless if the gambler pay the loan amount or not.

I witness a lot of this kind of loan shark on physical casino that offering loans on loser gambler. You’re right that loan shouldn’t be offered to gamblers since it will just fuel an addiction to play more due to the extra credit that they can get.

True. In fact they don't to lend the money to those poor gamblers, they want to take the collateral.

~Rather I think "I was lucky this time and let's not test our luck further."

And this is the most correct approach to gambling winnings.

Yeah, you bet. When I was young, I had some friends with this crazy 'it's my lucky day!' way of thinking. To be honest, none of them ended up well.

Those who begin to believe in luck and that fortune chooses the lucky one are mistaken. In fact, all events in the field of gambling should be regarded as mathematics: there are certain chances of winning, there are certain chances of losing. And of course there will be a person who will be lucky, maybe even twice. History knows such cases: the lucky ones who won the Jackpot twice. But this is not the will of the Gods or anything else, this is ordinary mathematics.

And we shouldn't forget that we can be unlucky two times in a row too. Just yesterday I was taking part in one pretty unusual dice competition on CryptoGames that described itself as "Lose to win! Lose two consecutive bets with 1.02x payout to be rewarded." So, basically you needed to lose with 97% win chance two times in a row. I succeeded in that:

But it was tough, I must say. Smiley

First of all, try to erase in your memory what you have seen or knew about Las Vegas and try from the blank scratch. I havent visited casinos in Amsterdam, but I've heard from the guide that they are nice. If they were like a regular casino in your town - specious room with 4-10 tables and an area of slots, then the guide would not have even pointed about casinos of Amsterdam. I went to google and found some nice pictures. They are not like casinos in Vegas (that is why I suggested to erase Vegas experience), but definitely not like regular casino. At least it is not a one big room or place that 100 people would fit, but an area in Amsterdam.

Thanks for your advice! Next time I'm visiting Amsterdam I will definitely go to one of their casinos  to get a closer look at how they operate inside. I will erase everything about Las Vegas that was put there, in my memory, by movies, documentaries and books to not feel disappointed after visiting real-life casinos and comparing them to my false expectations. Thanks for that advice too. Overall, I think visiting land-based casinos from time to time wouldn't hurt anyone, but, of course, if you were diagnosed as a problem gambler, even just once in your life, you should stay away from those places.
167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we really need to blame fraudsters on: May 02, 2024, 07:59:11 AM
We don't really need to blame the fraudster, if you don't fall victim to them there's no way you're going to get scammed, that is why is not advisable for children who's at the age of 17 to start using the internet, reason is because they can easily get scammed.

What do you mean "not advisable"? These days, children have been using the internet since the age of 12, if not earlier. We can't do much about it, and imo we shouldn't. Preventing them using the internet is like pushing them back in the direction of the Stone Age. What we should do is educate our children regarding possible scams on the internet, and ask them to consult us first before following any suspicious links.

And don't keep your Bitcoin on the devices your kids use for browsing the internet, guys. For sure don't do that.

Strategies are very important in gambling but then it's of a fact that they don't guarantee winnings they only help increase your chances of possibly winning they can never be a guarantee to the fact thst you will win, this is why some persons would rather be luck dependent than wanting to apply strategies ~

It depends on what kind of gambling do you mean. If it's poker or sports betting, than yes strategy is important. But if you think that you can increase your chances of winning in the games like slots, dice or roulette, or any of the so-called "purely luck-based" games, you are wrong. I'm not talking about whether your win is guaranteed or not and that kind of stuff, I'm talking about increasing your probability of winning as it happens when you are buying more lottery tickets. You do increase your chances with buying more tickets, but the chances are still so small that you will likely not win. But when you apply a strategy, even the most perfect one, to one of the purely luck-based games, you're not increasing your chances at all.

That's quite a story, mate. I'm really sorry for what happened with your brother, and I hope something like this will never happen again. Somehow, it was one of the most touching texts I've ever read on this forum. Thanks for sharing!

I think every gambler can relate to that story to a greater or lesser extent. And when we are acting like this, some of us lose a lot, others not so big but still a painful amount. It happens to every gambler at some point.

~ Sometimes later I still bought lottery tickets but I almost didn't mind and did not check lottery results at all. Who knows if I actually won or won big with the missing result checking times but I assume I didn't win any prize and let it go. Sometimes I only did not remember to check results but it does not make me feel that chance to win is smaller or I miss a big prize.

I don't know about that, but what I know for sure is that on Sportsbet.io if you win a prize it will be credited to your account automatically, whether you check the results or not. Smiley And to have a chance to win something good, you don't even have to risk your money.

Just go to the site, click on these green lines here

then select "Bet Free-6-6" here

and start making your predictions. It's as simple as that. Good Luck, mate!

No matter what we do and no matter how hard we do make out those kind of advises but still its not something that would really be stopping into those people who would really be tending to make out those panic sells on which its true that this kind of condition will really benefit out into those people who are waiting to buy at the dip. This market does have its ups and downs on which there would really be always those people who would really be catching at the bottom. ~

I respect those people very much. I really admire them. It's actually not easy to buy at the dip. There's always a chance of the price declining further and further, especially when you see how fast it was declining recently. But there are people, they are heroes in my eyes, who believe in Bitcoin so much that in one point they say to themselves: "Enough! It can't go further down much from this point. I'm buying!" In the future they are rewarded greatly for this way of thinking, and they totally deserve it.
174  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: May 01, 2024, 07:42:15 AM
I believe they had this even dedicated to UFC 300 only. I have missed 5 bucks freebet that they gave and wanted to use it later. But like you have, all the picks are closed and there is no new event picks added. I think simply duelbits forgot to remove that link and line from the bar on the left Cheesy

Why I think this promotion is over - because in Sports>MMA section they already have a new UFC events added, but UFC Jackpot has nothing.

I can perfectly understand it. On their own platform they can do whatever they want regarding giveaways: they can stop them abruptly, they can reconsider the prize pool, the number of paid places in the leader-board and so on. To me the only thing that was confusing is "Better luck next week!" part.

I thought it was kinda a promise that I will be able to continue, but apparently it meant something else.

No complaints from my end. As I said, I think they have all the right to do whatever they want regarding giveaways on their own platform.
175  Economy / Gambling / Re: Buidling a New Crash Game with Community Experience on: April 30, 2024, 11:21:57 AM
One of the main challenges for a new platform or business to come out whether here on gambling industry or any industries is that you would really be needing up to give something unique or havent  been seen before.

That's what I'm saying to this : No. The entire history of businesses tell us about it. Coca-Cola was created in 1886 then several years later another carbonated soft drink, Pepsi-Cola, was introduced by a competing company. Was a unique drink that haven't been seen before? Hardly. But it's a thriving business, thriving to this day. The revenue of PepsiCo was more than $9 billion USD in 2023. And that's just one example. Surely, such approaches also work in the realm of gambling. You can copy everything from a well-known gambling site and make just some tiny changes, say, in color palette and house edges of some games and voila, a new site is born. Will it be successful depends on many things but its uniqueness is of a minor importance.

Wow, that is a very interesting approach. I saw the good and white light.

Well, thank you, sir. I only hope it wasn't spoken sarcastically.  Smiley

I recently started to realize the same thing. I've seen new games that take inspiration from existing mainstream games but they manage to survive because the production value is quite OK while the story and microtransactions are not as bad as others copycat. While characters are similar, they are distinct enough so they can avoid any plagiarism issues. I guess marketing plays a part in how the market perceives your product.

Absolutely! If you've created a gambling site that is similar to others it's how you market your product is what matters most. For example if minimum bets are $1 everywhere, make then ten times smaller, make them $0.10, and then use that difference for marketing. Emphasize it, the more the better. The cash we have got here is not like the one you gave in the example above.
We also have to understand how much the minimum withdrawal is with withdrawal fees from the casino of our choice. If it only matches that, of course we will lose money and we won't be able to enjoy the results of gambling. it's better to leave it as a game balance for the next period.
~

That's what I'm doing with small winnings like $15-$20, not fearing that I can lose them if I use them for further betting. Basically we buy good time for those money and isn't that bad.  Smiley

~

It doesn't matter if your bets are small or large really.... the odds are the same for everyone.

Let's say you play a heads or tails game, 50/50, and the house pays 80c per dollar bet on that, it means that on average you will be losing money.

The thing is that the casinos created amazing things that look incredible but are in reality just like what I just explained. They are not a great opportunity for the gambler.

Opportunity for what exactly? For earning money? Who said gambling is a great opportunity for the gambler to earn money? Show me that lunatic. We all know(at least here on this forum) that gambling isn't suitable for that. But if we talk about having a good time, to be entertained, in other words, I disagree with you,  casinos are a great opportunity for the gambler in that sense. I mean, "for the gambler" is a keyword here. If you are not a gambler, then casinos probably can't offer you much.
177  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why not create a Gambling platform on Market narrative? on: April 30, 2024, 09:54:10 AM
It's just because there many millions of bettors around the world, and at least a tiny portion of them would bet on anything.
The keyword here is the ability to be able to bet on "anything" - it is human nature to bet on things and observe how their predictions go big or bad and being able to make money from it increases the thrill in the risk taking.

Indeed it is possible to create such bets and see how much popularity that bet would gain. While there might be some sites doing this already, ordinals might have a limited lifetime, from what I can make out. However a site that takes that in as well as other markets might actually do better than one handling only narratives or ordinals.

I agree, having a big variety of games on your site can help you to do better, but it's not guaranteed, you know. Sometimes specialized websites attract more attention of a specific audience, namely those people who don't want to play other games at all. It's only a question of how much of such people are there? If there are millions of them, then maybe creating a site that is handling only those specific bets worth a consideration.
178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: stop the unnecessary blame on gambling whenever you get unlucky on: April 30, 2024, 09:24:27 AM
~
Exactly, applying several strategies means that someone is really serious or really really wants to win but the problem is that they are wrong in applying their seriousness which is where they apply all their dedication to a place that is actually based on luck which is basically whatever you do and whatever you apply that you believe can bring victory, then in the end you will get nothing but greater disappointment when it turns out that the results at the end of the session do not match your expectations, and this is the reason why previously I often said that don't just apply limits. on the budget or engagement time but also limit your expectations or expectations on winning.

Right, if your expectations are high you start blaming the game if they are not fulfilled. But if you think of it, it's not actually games' fault they you didn't win. Game was designed the way so that some people were winning and others were losing at the same time, and you just was the unlucky one that should lose at that moment. In another moment you can be the lucky that should win. That's how it works. And the amount of won money(by all gamblers playing this game) is a bit smaller than the amount of lost money. The difference is the house edge. That's how casinos stay afloat.

Better to be in positive even if it's just a small amount of earnings, as the chance of losing always higher compared to your chance of winning, the fact that gambling always accompanied by risk and without good control of your emotions will continue to lead your way to lose all the money inside your wallet.

I actually think that another big mistake repeated by some gamblers all the time is thinking that their winnings are small with the bet they make and that they should increase their bet size. It's true that with 10x multiplier you'll win $200 if you bet $20 and you will win only $2 if you bet $0.20, but the thing is that you can quickly lose all your balance betting $20 at once and never hit that 10x, that's what must be kept in mind always.

You can check on the (Hacksaw Gaming) Replay. He won 9337 with PHP Currency (Peso Filipina).

Well, any provider with (Gaming) name in the back always amazes you while you are winning. Because at the time lucky/win section you are gonna get the multiplier win are  have a higher chance huge multiplier compared to Pragmatic/PlayNGo

But all of them are have same pattern once you are not win or heat section, the drain out mode are quite crazy.

Do you really think there's a "drain out mode" on slots or you just said it in the "so to speak" mode? Smiley

~

I have nothing against with you. I just don't know if you understand CoinTrader's post, but for you to fully understand it, it was only accidentally a bonus buy of 500 PHP (10USD estimated). Also, you can see in the posted image that the currency he used is already indicated. Which is PHP. I don't know why you have to ask when it's already posted. Also the multi It was only X18.68, not X1867. 500PHP is the bet amount. And the base bet is 5PHP.

I'm sorry, mate, in my stupidity I didn't realize PHP was a currency. My brain somehow automatically made "PHP scripting language" out of that, and that's why the confusion. Sorry for the mistake again.

~ And on The Bowery Boys by Hacksaw I also had a pretty good win, not 1,100x but a pretty good one:

I agree that big odds with small amounts are great stuff, it makes you fall in love with betting all over again. I recently got a 137x as well, and it was the greatest feeling, it is not even as big as yours or that, and yet it still made me feel amazing, because it allows me to gamble some more.
~

Congrats, mate, 137x  is a pretty nice win too, in my opinion anything above 100x is great. And if it makes  us feel amazing, what else do we need from our gambling session, or from anything in life even?

I just played on Beam Boys slot by Hacksaw Gaming on Stake and won $21 out of my 10 cents' bet:

That was a nice feeling to begin a day with. Smiley
