The fun is: Bitcoin, clean and original version, is not a forked off crypto hobby conensnus thingy, not want to hide and allows anonymity

https://markets.businessinsider.com/news/stocks/bitcoin-btc-unsuitable-professional-investors-regulation-china-binance-ubs-2021-7

so after the professional conensus clears that,

what will stay and just work like a Swiss UBS - ah clock?

162  Bitcoin / Press / [2021-07-06] Swiss UBS Warning: Reg crackdowns could pop crypto markets bubble on: July 06, 2021, 12:21:27 PM
https://markets.businessinsider.com/news/stocks/bitcoin-btc-unsuitable-professional-investors-regulation-china-binance-ubs-2021-7

Crackdowns by regulators make bitcoin unsuitable for pro investors and could pop the bubble, UBS said.
The bank pointed to China clamping down on mining, and the growing concern over crypto in the UK and US.
It also said the common practice of trading crypto with leverage is likely to draw regulators' attention.

I’ve been doing that for almost a decade to the point they think I’m stupid.  No more.  From now I demand the wage I think I’m worth.  If I’m not worth then don’t hire me.  I could made millions by now but I was too shy to ask.  What do they care, they see a fool not a sensible man.

Well now it’s time to pay the piper before I get angry and double the fee - inflation, like you hasn’t been kind.

Good point.

More gaslighting for me.  This is what I’ve gone through for years.  This is a sock of Dave smith aka Matthew Melon.  Why so angry.  What have I stolen, he hired Ramirez and JP to steal 470,000 ixc off me and has done nothing for ixc exceot lie every month.  You just can’t get rid of a Freemason.  I’m poor - months when my kids and I only ate pate and bread so I can pay developers.  I’ve been stuck in a 3rd world country in a poor city where all can make is $380 per month, net when my electric bill is $600.  These guys know that this liar has been gaslighting me for 4 years promising me almost weekly he’s buying me a house it give me a good job.  He hacked all my accounts - EVERYTHIG.  He even hacked and stole $80 out of my Bank of America account.  He admitted it and offered to pay it back but I said it’s ok keep it.

I have given away 700,000 ixc to random individuals and to paying devs.  All that time eating ramen so i buy some ixc back.  Is that a thief does.  Crypto is a pit of vipers.  I know I did the best possible for ixcoin and I never stole only gave.  Even Btx which is gonna be huge.  I gave away 10% of my coins via cool paper wallets to all the kids around here so they’d have some hope in something.

And in return this is what I get from my good friend Matt:

how to type math symbols

He only threw Craig in there to misdirect.  He’s working with him.  A team of thieves and crooks.  Go with BTX and IXC.  IXC had nothing but honest people until Matt came along with his gang, promising millions and giving nothing and doing nothing.
This is the game the rich prey on the poor, don’t be fooled, nothing has changed and when it’s over you’ll all be dead or serfs.

Thank you for playing...

Holy,.. yes giving away for free is also a risk. Ppl getting greedy, esp in crypto..

Also applies to the routing amounts. Nobody can tell you which amounts are forwarded and which aren't, unless node operators make it public. Spoiler: Most node operators don't do that.
That is, your confidence that LN is confidential is based only on the assumption that node operators will not transmit transaction data to anyone.

Does anyone believe that messengers are confidential, just because they will not share their information with anyone? Smiley

Nah, never happens.

I’m honestly confused with big blockers. They criticize the Lightning Network, because it might have the tendency to centralize, and their proposed solution is to hard fork to bigger blocks, which for them it would be more preferrable to centralize the base layer, reducing security.

Only if a protocol is locked down and free of governance for years like tcp/ip - you can consider that 'decentralized'. Open for all + free to launch server, miners, services, apps whatsover with that - max freedom is there (no pain in terms of capacity + long term planning - where new middle men can & want your toll & fee formost basic use)

Cryptocurrencies and OFC: a match made in heaven?
Illustration money island
OFC and ICO’s
Places like the Seychelles, Cayman Islands, Bermuda and the British Virgin Islands (BVI) are not only appealing as a place to spend a relaxing holiday, but they are also renowned for the financial services facilities they offer to non-residents (IMF, 2020). They, like others, are known as Offshore Financial Centres (OFC), International Financial Centres or Tax Havens. OFC as they will be termed here, have always embraced the possibilities of what finance can do and how finance can be used. It is not surprising that OFC have therefore taken an interest in cryptocurrencies and their interest is growing. It is also not surprising to note that the inventor of Bitcoins, Dr Craig Wright has a business, Tulip Trading Ltd, registered in the Seychelles because of their favourable financial services business ethos.

Within this piece Switzerland, Bermuda and the British Virgin Islands will be assessed as to their regulatory landscape in relation to cryptocurrencies and whether they have addressed anti-money laundering regulatory risks. This piece is a soundbite for the possibilities of using OFC as a hub for cryptocurrencies. This piece is part of a larger ongoing research analysis.

178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the Lightning Network Solve ALL Scalability Issues? on: July 01, 2021, 01:18:40 PM
There is NO need for everybody to open channels
You can use a lightning wallet like Breez for example, which gives you inbound liquidity up to 0.04 BTC (4 million satoshis) and you can accept lightning payments instantly without caring about opening channels. You can use @lntxbot on Telegram to send and receive satoshis to/from everybody else on telegram. No need to open channels for this. There are more solutions like that. Find out for yourself

inbound

accept

..
the other persons question was in general.. 'if i have bitcoin and i want to spend..'
 you mention a "solution" where
i have to pay a company. and they hand me channels so that i can 'receive' upto 0.04btc
i dont think you really understood the situation and requirement
i give you a hint. when people want to spend . they want an outbound solution

oh and a quick search and it shows that breez offers that as point of sale merchant tool
basically its like saying dont worry about bitcoin addresses, sign up to bitpay as your merchant shopping cart

many dont want custodial solutions. and others dont want to spend funds to be given an option to receive
after all wasnt that the point of bitcoin

oh and yea breez is still not a solution for everyone

That shows how much you don't know about lightning. To spend money you just have to send some into your Breez wallet (or get them for free by tipping etc). That's how the world works: Spend some if you have some. If you have no Bitcoin at all, you can't spend them. Still no need to open a channel. And yes, Breez (and other wallets like that) is the solution for everyone.

the part of that world is just getting smaller and smaller that must!! finally use sth (sold!) here, sold as Bitcoin - but ... wft?

Hoping for lot of things, finally some space to settle ( what fee it ll be ?)

Freedom is not here

Mal mein Senf dazu:

Grin

Woke up with no anger.  Let me talk to Dave or someone that always sets me off.  Cause I’m doing is suicide if I’m right and I am.  I’m here push crypto forward for the same reason satoshi is but it’s been almost a decade and I have never met so many liars, thieves or been so used and abused.  A guy on Dave’s team literally left a voice message that they have a sharpshooter hundreds of yards away and will take me out anyway.  He showed me pics of their safe place to run to with small iron cages in the hot sun in South America for people who disobey the rules?

Ramirez, I’m coming for the 100,000 ixc from me and I’m out by my giant floor to ceiling window daily.  Take the shot you mindless lucefarian.  Some of these masons is what makes you think I must be sick or stupid to join their club.  I rather join the Jesuits and kill off evil people.  Sadly I can’t be catholic and without the approval of the govt killing is murder.  I’m not murdering anyone.  Well, Ramirez I would beat with my bare hand within an inch of his life but that’s something he earned and he’ll heal up.

So you guys have no idea what I’ve gone through since Matt put his team together.  They just care about the money.  Once he gets my coins he’ll never talk to me ever again.

I’ve had so many death threats, threats they’ll take my kids, and this from people on my team.  Well Dave and guys on his crew.  Most smart some must be there to give daily blow jobs cause they’re as dumb as dirt.

Just BTX they’ve always treated me fairly.  No homos running their coin.  Smart.  Best electronic cash hands down.  Ver’s BCH is trash by comparison.  That decoy won’t last much longer, just rob you of your bsv which will be huge cause their infrastructure and multi purpose use cases.

And I die, I’ve been through hell for a decade and suicide has never entered my mind although many days I wish God would take me home.  When my time comes it will come, I’m not gonna live like a coward, like, be abused any longer or back down from leviathan.

Those with me are more than those with you.

That’s for now, next rage episode is TBD.  At least you know you’ve been played since one and what’s gonna happen once mass adoption takes place.  The exact opposite what people like Andreas (he was recruited about 5 years ago by a bank most likely) ver, and all the experts.  He’s a useful idiot, I genuinely don’t think he can see the big picture or what’s going on.  He’s tunnel vision where he just talks about the blockchain and even there he fails to see many things.

...til next rage attack!

V

Oops, can’t use the Red V anymore since it’s gonna become the Vatican symbol for the real Bitcoin, the Vicar.

Bitcoin made old 'crypto' ppl ( and their myriads of sockpuppets - see on twitter) wake again, all the anos and anarchos - better not to engage too much with, cause too much option there to play fault / lie > crypt it. You getting lost here
