Many thanks for the excellent replies, much appreciated.  Have bought some bitbay and plan to hold for some time.  Smiley

You're welcome. Feel free to try out the markets with us and join our slack. There is a lot of people who will be happy to do a contract with you. Like we said a lot of the contracts were removed so our core sellers could clear their emails for the speed boost awaiting the 22nd update. You can wait until then if you like.

Yeah a lot of us pulled our items because we are testing the new version. And besides... different versions are not compatible for marketplace transactions.

After the release I'll get the faucet back up. At this price though it looks like I might have to drop it down from 1000 coins to 500  Cheesy
Let me know when. I will throw some BAY into the pot.

this is going to end up like how anshares did. its a messed up project with the dev that doesn't even respond even when online. and they will forget anything about you after you have send your btcs to them.  when chinese  exchanges are involve, its going to be a huge loss for investors, they won't even give what you just bought.

And when you get kicked from slack, they may also try to compromise your registered email address, also.  Roll Eyes
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Official BitBay Thread |Smart Contracts Wallet UPDATE|Decentralized Marketplace on: March 14, 2017, 11:48:05 AM
Is it worth us getting on bittylicious so people can get bay directly with cc ?

I would definitely welcome that.  I have used Bittylicious a lot, and would love to be able to buy BAY on there.  Smiley
Dont the buying limits on there, make you wonder, why bother?
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] HEAT: 3.0 crypto*multisig fiat*a2a hft*1000tps*DSA*PoS+PoP*e2ee chat* on: March 14, 2017, 07:27:01 AM
Cliff notes for whats going on here? Complete mess.

I was fairly new here too but read all the recent posts and the answer is simple - there is one guy with multiaccounts ranting about everything, but people quickly learn to ignore him.
The guy ranting currently has a 0.17 btc redemption pending an I estimate a remaining balance of 3-4000 HEAT. He wants to get out, so if anyone can buy him out, that would be great. After that we can hopefully start a more meaningful discussion in this thread.
Stewie going nowhere, regardless. He is very much invested, but not with BTC/HEAT. This thread has now become his daily life.

Hello, Mark. How you doing today? Hope all is well, bud. Seriously, hope all is well at this speaking because me's found some neat stuff that I was paid to not post that'll make you ... ummmm ... not so well. So to let you know that I's no bullshiting, take a look at this hilarious lip sync video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Ge8cRLyFl8. Recognize that guy, Mark? Sounds to me like when the doctors fixed his back, they changed his voice to that of a younger man.  Cool Did the docs snipped a tad too low?  Shocked

For those playing at home, there's still 'bout 2 more days before you get to empty your wallets into Qtum's coffer controlled by NOT PwC.

TBC, I uncovered what I'm about to release thank's to Qtum's shill Bob Smith on their Slack channel which I just happened to tune in to via an email link. Dude also has the red-ass for me just like cocksuckeroverfolw. I like the part where Bob alludes to trusting Allcoin because they've been around for 3-4 years, whereupon Lucy immediately replies with a thanks, not offering up that it's a new Allcoin were supposedly dealing with purchased by Cascadia for $86K+.

Come to think of it, there's no way that Bob is a shill for Qtum, for he wouldn't've mentioned Mark in any capacity, let alone continue to question Lucy. Apologies to Bob for comparing him to CSOF.  Kiss

Enjoy the following while I pen the big reveal. I swear to Jehovah, dudes, you're gonna love my next post. Bring hammers, for I have the nails for Qtum's coffin. Oh, and please don't forget to watch that video I linked to above, now saved on my computer, for I have every reason to believe it won't be up much longer.  Grin

WTF happens with kraken? One thing is stop losses that takes ages to execute.... but now I have a market order "hanging" for minutes without execution... this is a joke!
Been happening for many months, and is even confirmed by them.
Their engine is GOX-like, and their support tickets takes weeks to reply sometimes.
Trust me, that market order wont execute, and the stop order can take 36 hours to execute. I kid you not.

8th most volume on trex again.

Only top 10 MC coins above it.

Polo are crazy not listing this coin on there you can say the volume would be 10x that daily and that's before bay gets recognised as a top 10 coin itself. I think top 2-3 but then of course perhaps I am biased. But no way should it be outside of the top 10.

I completely agree. We have all filled in their 'add a coin' form multiple times but to no avail . . .

Do you know if he hangs out on any slacks or private chats? Maybe I can reach out to him personally.
Tristian is a dark horse. Ive even reached out and tried to get him on chat channels. Alas.

I find it strange that they did not accept the ETF because they could not regulate every bit of it.
How do they regulate all of the gold in the world for the GLD ETF?

They just think they do. Just because there are multiple ways of checking gold's price does not mean that the market cannot be manipulated.
The SEC is just living in a fool's world.

I think it is actually even worse than this. The SEC pretty much confirmed that A) the major of bitcoins out there is unknown and already in the hands of people that they can't control, and B) the exchanges and thus the people involved can't be "surveiled" and tracked.

If you look at all that jargon in reverse, what they're basically saying is that ANY SEC-approved, market-traded financial instrument is both a) rigged against the masses, and b) surveiled and controlled.

Yeah but we already knew that.

'Rigged against the masses' meaning that the wealthy elite can't corner the market, not in the beginning, and not ever.

So how long until the World banks issue a pre-mined Bankcoin, sold/traded on bank owned and controlled exchanges, and the SEC says "yeah we'll approve the Bankcoin ETF, no problem." ?
Yep, and even easier to achieve if its R3-Bankcoin!
171  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 11, 2017, 10:37:46 AM

Isn't it, the flow and the exchange of gold, that is regulated, and not the gold itself? Crypto's rails and ramps just aint mature enough, i guess.
Maybe they didnt feel confident, they had a reasonably good understanding how to quantify this brave new value system. Certainly a few, computer-says-no moments, on their legacy protocols.

Can you guys trust a guy who changed his name for 6 times and abandoned his previous projects before? This time he is making another ICO, I dare not invest, is it worth to gamble? Yeah, it is indeed a gamble.

6 times?

His original name is: Dai Xuguang, his names: Patrick Dai, Stephen Dai, Johnson Dai, Shuai Chu, Shuai Early, and so forth. maybe more than 10, who knows?

It's not uncommon for Chinese people to use aliases both Chinese and western, as for abandoned projects I haven't heard of any with concrete proof, all there is is unproven accusations and hearsay.
Explain why at least 6 times, though. What is that, just vanity, or something?

It's a cultural thing, you could ask a Chinese friend if you have one. But at least Chinese people have one name, one Chinese alias and one western, also aliases might change over time. Sometimes Chinese people will use a new Chinese alias when they change their job! as weird as it sounds it's true  Smiley

who cares how many times he changed it. He is the same guy that scammed bitbay community and the dev. That is all we need to know.
end of story.

nobody wants to invest with a known scammer.

any other details are fluff.

entirely disgusting starting a new ico after scamming bitbay.

Well the guy says he's innocent, and the weird thing is the accusers just remembered him now, before they were blaming someone else Huh
What part of 'using different names' are you having trouble understanding? His recently published picture was only recently recognised as someone else, cos he has been using multiple ID's. Even the devs didnt know his other ID's, or history.
Again, its not cultural to continually change your name in a short period of time, just because you feel your culture says so. Thats just bullshit, in anyones language.

I think you did not get what I meant, the accusers did not blame the guy with the alias they knew him with until recently, before he was the one that helped them while the real scammers flew with the money, or so they say.
Yes, Steven/Patrick/etc, got in way over his head, with a few other seriously organised scammers, and he didnt want to whore for them anymore. Correct.
