161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC Data leak on: March 24, 2018, 08:39:32 PM
Well, I think this data leaking might be an important problem and it might lead to various problems for the other ICOs as well. As more numbee of people come to know about this, a lot of them might seriously stop investing in ICOs. There have been a lot of bad news about ICOs recently like the ad bans in social medias and I think this might add to them.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs are getting attacked and banned everywhere, ETH is dumping hard on: March 24, 2018, 08:34:43 PM
No, I don't think Ethereum being used in ICOs was the only reason behind it's growth. Ethereum is a pretty good coin which is a good investment opportunity and a lot of people were investing in it.
As you may know, a lot of coins in the market are suffering from drops currently, so I think the same is happening with ethereum.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DOES SPENDING MORE TIME IN BOUNTY CAMPAIGN GAIN YOU MORE TOKENS? on: March 24, 2018, 08:30:13 PM
Well, bounty campaigns might be profitable, but now, after the news of crypto ad bans by various social medias, I think ICOs are going to have a tough time gaining popularity. You can still try them out, but I think you should not quit your job as it would be a stable source of income which might help you a lot.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin To Buy Now? on: March 24, 2018, 08:21:21 PM
Well I think in this drop, ethereum would be the best coin to invest in. As you know, it's price has significantly decreased from what it was before and it should start going up again soon and as it is meant to be a long term investment it might take some time to go up again. So investing in ethereum might be a great opportunities for investors to earn a good amount of profit.
165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible that all bitcoin users do not lose? on: March 24, 2018, 08:02:54 PM
Well, I don't think that is possible. As, when someone gets profit, someone else does suffer from a loss. If a lot of people invest into bitcoins and the price rises a lot, a time will come when people would start selling. When they do, the price would start falling and the few people who would be the last to sell would be suffering from a loss. The net amount of money doesn't have much of a change.
166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Advertising on: March 23, 2018, 09:21:31 PM
Yes we can but the question is who is willing to pay bitcoin advertisements? As you can see bitcoin survive for how many years already in real world without tv advertisements. Only peer to peer transaction and only people who are looking for a job in search ingine in google can find out what is bitcoin and also some people talking and inviting there friends to join in bitcoin community os a good option since no one are willing to pay in tv advertisements for bitcoin.
I really agree with you
In reality there is not a small amount of money spent on advertising. This will be ineffective when the ad is unable to leave a clear message to the consumer, so it just goes away. Ironically, ads that can not afford to leave a deep message about this advertised product are numerous. Very few products are able to build the right positioning for consumers.
Yes, exactly. Advertisement might be a bery good way to influence people and get them investing into bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. But, I don't think there is anyone who would possibly pay for this and without funds advertisement would be impossible. Advertisement can affect the price drastically, but I don't think it is actually possible.
167  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin at 2600$, is it possible !!!! on: March 23, 2018, 09:16:16 PM
No, I dont think there is any chance that the price of bitcoin would drop that down anytime soon. As per now, the price looks pretty decent and I think it would be going up soon. I don't think anyone expected much from btc at the start of this year as it had a huge drop at december 2017 end. The drop was pretty huge so it would definitely take some time to recover.
168  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happen to bitcoin in 2018? on: March 23, 2018, 09:07:06 PM
Well the start of this year hasn't been that much great for bitcoin but I am sure it would recover and cross 20,000 USD again this year. It might take a lot of time as it has had a huge drop. But, I think it would cross 20K USD milestone again this year itself after around 6-7 months from now at max.
The situation might be different as well because there are a lot of factors affecting it's value. Also, I think more number of goods and services would start accepting btc this year.
169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin legal on: March 23, 2018, 08:55:20 PM
Well bitcoin being legal or illegal depends on whicb country you are living in. In some countriea it is legal, in some it is not and some countries are still deciding what to do.
About illegal activities, bitcoin had been used and maybe is being used for various illegal activities on the dark web. It's hard to trace transactions are the reason it is used for such activities.
170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin worth risking your time and money? on: March 23, 2018, 08:49:15 PM
I don't think the word "risking" would be correct to use here. It should be called an 'investment'. All investments have risks. Everything has a some positive and some negative points.
Bitcoin is a pretty good investment which I think is worth your time and money. There might be a little risk as the market goes down sometimes, but it can also give you a lot of profit and the probability to get profit is I think more than suffering from a  loss.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency to be accepted in shops by 2025? on: March 22, 2018, 08:57:51 PM
I think it might be happening sooner than that. As we know even now cryptocurrencies (specifically bitcoin) are accepted in KFC Canada and a few other places. The number of services which are accepting bitcoins might just keep increasing and I think most of the people might be accepting btc before 2025.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum under $400 will be a good buy or ? on: March 22, 2018, 08:54:28 PM
Yes, well I think when Ethereum drops to a price as low as 350-400$ it would be a great opportunity for investors to invest in it and get profit. I think it's price would be going up again in time. It might take a  lot of time though, as it has always increased at a slow speed. So, it would be a pretty good option for a long term investment.
173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are You Discouraged with Bitcoin? on: March 22, 2018, 08:42:33 PM
Well anything in this world has some positive points and some negative points. Bitcoin has a lot of positive points such as huge demand, popularity, great investment option, etc. Then  therebare it's negative points such as high traffic, network jamming which results in higher fees, slower transactions, etc. If you need to get profit, you need to have patience.
Also, I think the everything that is happening is normal and would get better in time, so I am not at all discouraged with btc and I'm pretty sure it would moon soon.
174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin and crypto currencies are the future ! on: March 21, 2018, 08:29:43 PM
Yes, sooner or later people would start using cryptocurrencies in their everyday lives. Day by day mlre number of people are getting into cryptocurrencies and the number of people keeps on increasing.
There are already a lot of goods and services which we can get through bitcoins and the no. of people who accept btc for their goods would keep increasing gradually.
175  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin price continue to go down? on: March 21, 2018, 08:24:50 PM
No, I don't think so. As we can see the price has already started to rise from the past couple of days and I think it would continue to rise. It may become a little stable for a while but I don't think it would would go down again anytime soon. It might actually drop after a few weeks when the price would have reached 10k$+ like last time.
176  Economy / Services / Re: ALAX.io Signature Campaign on: March 20, 2018, 03:05:02 PM
Payments have been sent to those who qualified
I confirm that I recieved my payment for week 3. Thank you very much Yahoo sir and Alax.io.
177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as money on: March 19, 2018, 07:54:03 PM
Yes, I think such a thing is going to happen in the future. If the popularity of bitcoins keep increasing in the way it is now, sooner or later most of the people in the world would be owning/using bitcoins. There might be some people who wouldn't like this idea and would oppose it, but the number of such people might decrease in time. So, I think bitcoins would be used as a currency soon and in some places it is already accepted as a payment for their goods/services.
178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Again Ban, but now from Twitter on: March 19, 2018, 07:48:04 PM
Well I think this might be a pretty bad news. As you know new ICO projects gain popularity due to social medias like twitter, facebook, etc. If twitter bans cryptocurrency, ICO advertisements the new projects would have a big chance for failure. It might not affect others old coins much but it will have a huge effect on the upcoming projects.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding is bullshit? on: March 19, 2018, 10:31:33 AM
Well I think the coins you chose for your investment were wrong. I personally think long term investments should be done in bigger coins/one of the top 5 coins, such as bitcoin and ethereum. Ethereum's price is pretty low currently so it would be the perfect time to invest in it. Slow and steadily increasing coins are the best for long term investments. Ethereum is more stable compared to btc, and it increases at a far slower pace, so I think it would be perfect for investing for a long term.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what causes the price of altcoin down? on: March 18, 2018, 07:47:58 PM
Well the major thing that affects altcoins' prices is bitcoin's price. As you may know, altcoins' prices are highly dependent on bitcoin's price, so whenever there is a drop in bitcoin's price, the whole market goes red. And yes, when the market is red, it is the best time to buy, also that is what most of the investors do which leads them to a lot of profit.
