261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung is going to support bitcoin on: February 12, 2018, 02:52:24 PM
Yeah, it looks like they are in favour of bitcoin. If they are bringing out this bitcoin mining hardware it will be definitely be affecting bitcoin's price and popularity positively. Alot of people's negative thinking about cryptocurrencies might get reduced by this. So, I think it is a great step that they have taken and it is surely going to help bitcoin alot.
262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin low on: February 09, 2018, 02:01:06 PM
No, I don't think so. It is a little bit more stable at 8k USD than it was in the past few days and I think it has already started to recover. So, I don't think it would be going below 6k USD so easily. It is already above 8k and is going up slowly, so it might continue going up. When it does reach around 10k, more number of people  would start investing, which might lead to more rise in the price. It might even drop more though, no one can give 100% accurate predictions.
263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When Bounties are not worth the effort - Limit the numbers on: February 08, 2018, 11:54:29 AM
I think most bounty campaigns set a fixed amount.of payment either in Bitcoins, Ethereum or a specific amount of their own tokens and the amount varies according to the ranks. I don't think there are much campaigns who don't follow this and let alot of people in. As far as I've seen alot of these campaigns allow around 200 participants in total to join. I think we just need to be careful and try to avoid joining the campaigns which don't seem to be good.
But there are surely some spam campaigns which allow alot of members, which shouldn't be allowed.
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long do you think will the dip continue for? on: February 06, 2018, 08:44:46 PM
I think the dip will end really soon, like after 2-3 more weeks. Right now we can see the value of bitcoin increasing after it dropped earlier today( according to IST). It might drop a little but again/keep going up, but it depends on the people who are investing/panic selling. I think till March, it would have surely becomd stable and might start going up steadily. There might be a few delays but it should recover around that time.
265  Economy / Speculation / Re: TIME TO FORGET ABOUT HODL on: February 06, 2018, 07:29:57 PM
AND START PRACTICING BUYIGN !
Well, I don't think that you need to forget about holding in order to buy. You can actually hold your bitcoins and invest more in it using your money, in that way you will get even more profit. Why do you think people should forget holding and cash out their bitcoins? If people do that they might suffer from a loss depending on when they invested. So It would be better to keep holding and invest more if you want.
266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for old people? on: February 06, 2018, 12:03:06 PM
Bitcoin is for everyone. Elder people tent to be more secure and they are sceptic when you first tell them. If you have the good arguments then maybe they start to believe in it
I think it is not advisable that old people will join or have a transactions in bitcoin because for me they have not enough knowledge about in bitcoin and also in the online matters .We all know that the focus of bitcoin users nowadays is the millenials even though the other old people is capable to do these things,it depends on them the decision if they will enter the bitcoin world.
Exactly, I don't think they would be able to do all these stuff, as they would find it very hard. They might have alot of money from their life savings which they could easily multiply by investing into cryptocurrencies, but they won't be able to understand about cryptos as most of the aged people would find it very difficult to understand. One thing that I think can be done would be, if someone else from their family invests their money and does all the things needed.
267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we all please accept.. on: February 06, 2018, 11:00:15 AM
Well, I think you misunderstood what the finance minister of India, Mr. Arun Jaitley said. He said that the government of India would try to stop the illegal activities that were taking place because of bitcoins/cryptocurrencies and not actually banning cryptocurrencies. I don't think most of the other countries will ban bitcoin either, so the main reasons that are causing bitcoin's price to fall would be the number of people panic selling and because of the media which shows the people half-true facts. Surely there are some countries which banned cryptos/are going go ban cryptos, but the number of countries which will allow btc would be much more.
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Low prices, are you excited about the situation? on: February 05, 2018, 08:00:06 PM
Yes, definitely it is a great chance for those who haven't got much profit from cryptocurrencies yet. As bitcoin has dropped alot of times and gone up again, it would definitely be the same this time. If people invest in now, when the price is pretty low, they'll be getting alot of profit when the value goes up and if some of the people don't invest because they're scared, they would regret it later.
269  Economy / Speculation / Re: Fear not,bitcoin will rebounce on: February 05, 2018, 07:41:09 PM
Yes, it will of course re bounce as it has done a lot of times before. It just might take some amount of time for the rebounce as the price drop was pretty huge. But now, many more people would be knowing about bitcoins and once it starts going up, I am pretty sure more and more number of people would start investing into it and it's value would start increasing rapidly and reacher new heights.
270  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in 2018 will be at $50,000 on: February 05, 2018, 07:18:55 AM
Well, 50,000$ would be pretty high, I really hope it goes till there, but it is pretty hard for bitcoin to reach that much after it dropped so much. It would take some time for it to recover and only then it would start going up again. It should definitely rise, but I think it would have reached 20-25k$ till this year ends as it is still struggling a little bit.
271  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I Invest in Bitcoin in 2018? on: February 04, 2018, 07:15:47 PM

I think that investing in everything is risky especially bitcoin. Don’t take anyone’s advice about what will happen with the currency. Personally I believe we are just starting, just my own opinion and you shouldn’t consider that as investment advice as well.
I think Never invest more than you are able to lose – Bitcoin is a very risky investment and you should keep in that in mind at all times. especially the price Bitcoin is still going down this time.  Grin
Yes, I agree with the part that you should not invest the money which you cant afford to lose as investing in bitcoins/other cryptocurrencies might have a little bit of risk. You should invest only the extra money you have, that you can afford to lose. But the chance of that is low, as bitcoin has dropped in past few days and it's value in on the lower side. So, it is the perfect time to invest as it would definitely go up soon.
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So how will be the market in February? on: February 04, 2018, 05:53:31 PM
As you know, later half of December as well as january haven't been much good fir bitcoins and other altcoins. I think bitcoin, along with the other cryptocurrencies would get more stable this month and start going higher like before. I am not sure as it might take some more time for the cryptocurrencies to recover from such a huge dip, but there is alot of chance that their value starts rising this month.
273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin really gonna be dead? on: February 03, 2018, 11:04:30 AM
No, definitely not. It's value surely had a big drop and then kept on decreasing a little by little but it is a bit more stable currently and I think after a few weeks it will start to rise again. It will surely be back after a few days after people start investing in it. The recent news in India about "bitcoin ban", which wasn't true at all, might have caused a lot of harm to bitcoins. A lot of it happened because of the media. I think it has already started to grow a little by little from yesterday and this will continue.
274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: INDIA MISQUOTED ON CRYPTO BAN on: February 03, 2018, 10:19:52 AM
India only issue a statement that she is cracking down on cryptocurrency that are used for illicit transaction. India never plan to ban bitcoin according to the country's finance minster Mr Arun Jaitley.

see the link below:

https://www.ft.com/content/9fc05f8e-0720-11e8-9650-9c0ad2d7c5b5

Yes, according to Mr. Arun Jaitley India will be trying to put a stop to the illegal activites that are being carried out by using bitcoins and they are not actually going to  ban bitcoins. The media is trying to spread fake and half true news which is surely affecting bitcoin's value. I don't understand why are they trying to spread so much of negativity about bitcoins and it is definitely harming alot of people as they would quicksell their btc after watching all this on the news. I think this should be changed if it is possible somehow.
275  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC WILL GO TO 4.5K $. on: February 02, 2018, 12:53:59 PM
Bitcoin might go as down as 4.5k USD at this rate, but I think there is a chance that it's value might actually stop dropping and start increasing again. It has already dropped alot from 20,000, currently it's price is 7.5k USD. It can be a good opportunity for the people who didn't get enough of profit from bitcoin if it rises again, but there is also a chance that it won't go up as much as it did. You can predict but it can't be 100% accurate. I think and hope it will increase though. Tongue
276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin loses its popularity ? on: February 01, 2018, 11:39:57 AM
Well, bitcoin is still at the top because of it's value and as it was the first and the original altcoin. Even if some of the other coins are more profitable than bitcoin currently, it will still remain the most popular. Most of the people, including me came to know about cryptocurrencies through bitcoin.
As for the investors who have alot of knowledge about cryptos and who invest regularly in them, some other coins might be more popular than bitcoin, as they can't earn much profit through bitcoin currently
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My opinion about ETH on: January 31, 2018, 11:17:37 AM
I can't say whether ETH's price would reach upto bitcoin's, but it surely will rise, I think it might currently be  one of the best coin out there for long term investments. I had sold my Eth last year and I regret it alot as it would have been nearly 2x now. As it also has much more benifits than bitcoin in terms of transaction fees, transaction completing time etc. and also it is safer as it doesn't have as much price drops as btc. So, investing in Eth now would definitely be a good idea.
278  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin price continue to go down? on: January 31, 2018, 11:12:51 AM
Well, no one can actually predict anything. Even if people have experience and they give you an advise, things might change. I personally think that bitcoin will go up again and there is no need to panic, just have patience, but I can't guarantee you that, no one can. I think it might go down a little bit but it will surely rise again. So if i'd be in your place i would hold it for a little longer and only then make any decision.
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it normal to build a crypto currency without ICO on: January 31, 2018, 11:08:02 AM
I think an ICO is a must for launching any new coins. If you launch a coin without an ICO I don't think there will be much people who would like to consider buying your coin at all. Where as, after an ICO your coin's demand might rise. So I don't think it is a good idea, and you should conduct an ICO, or else your coin might die and your money would be wasted.
280  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this new crash very bad on: January 30, 2018, 07:09:37 PM
No, I don't think it is a long term drop and that it would drop even furhter. It might just recover it's value again in the next few hours or maybe a few more days. It could actually fall down, I can't actually predict, but recently whenever it dropped a little bit like this it had recovered again and I think something similar is going to happen this time. So, I think holding would be the best option.
