281  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we help bitcoin grow? on: January 30, 2018, 03:31:29 PM
To help bitcoin grow, we would need to invest more in it and try to stop the people who keep panic selling even if the price drops a little bit. If more number of people get to know about bitcoins and how profitable they are, they will surely invest in it, because who doesn't want to earn some extra money without working? The one thing that might stop these people from investing is the media, I am seeing alot of negativity being spread by the media about bitcoins and that would surely affect a huge number of people, I think this should somehow be stopped. If you still would be able to influence people into investing it bitcoins it would definitely help in it's growth.
282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as payment system on: January 28, 2018, 07:24:22 PM
First of all, there is still alot of people left who still don't know about bitcoins. How can it replace the currency we know as now in this situation? It will still take alot of time for everyone to get to know about bitcoins and even more time for them to accept bitcoins as a currency/as a payment. This might take some time but some places already started accepting btc as payment for eg. KFC canada are accepting bitcoins as a payment now. I think this will keep increasing and alot more number of people will start accepting btc.
283  Other / Off-topic / Re: Money for school fees. Invested in bitcoin. on: January 28, 2018, 12:38:51 PM
I don't think you should be taking such a huge risk for just increasing your money. What if the bitcoin's lrice goes down further? No one can actually predict about the value drop/rise of bitcoin. People can try and it might be accurate to some extent, but not always. As you said, education is very important and if you won't be able to pay your fees for a long time, you might get kicked out of your school. So, you should try investing the money you can afford to lose and can't afford to lose the money for your school fees, thats for sure.
284  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this the Stable Btcoin Price? on: January 28, 2018, 12:25:44 PM
No, I don't think there is any such thing like "stable bitcoin price". It might be stuck at that price for some time(days) but it would definitely change. After growing further, it might become stable at a much higher price but for a little amount of time. It might drop to  a bit more extent and remain at that price for some days too. So I dont think there can be stable price for bitcoin as it is decentralised.
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do I need to sell all alts? on: January 28, 2018, 12:16:02 PM
Well, bitcoin fell down so if you had sold your alts it might have been a pretty big loss for you. So I think you should try holding a little amount of all good coins, which would minimize the chances of losing your money. And also you should not try to be greedy as it might cause even further losses.
286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbiee in altcoins on: January 27, 2018, 06:06:05 PM
Well, you'll definitely need to work for money. If you have money you can actually try to invest it in good altcoins with minimal risk such as ethereum. If you don't, you can try earning through bounty programmes in this forum if you have a good amount of followers on any social media. You can also try joining signature campaigns if you are willing to make high quality posts.
287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fees are reducing? on: January 27, 2018, 06:02:08 PM
Yeah, they are obviously reducing. It is the result of lower traffic. When the value was reaching crazy heights, the number of investors kept on increasing, which resulted in a very high traffic and high fees, very long confirmation period. Now, due to the dip, alot of people cashed out and I don't think alot of them would be investing again anytime soon.
288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin SCAM! on: January 27, 2018, 05:59:02 PM
Yeah, bitcoin isn't scam but there are alot of people who are misusing bitcoins as a way to scam people. And because of such people, bitcoin's reputation is going down. Also, I've heard bitcoin was being used for crimes, which  drops it's rep down even further.
I think if such things stop, bitcoins/other cryptos will definitely get more power.
289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does bitcoin pose a threat to banks? on: January 27, 2018, 12:21:18 PM
Yes, I think it actually does. As alot of people came to know about bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies, they started to invest in these instead of investing their money in banks, as the profit in these was far more than the banks' interests. I think that would be the reason many banks and the media are trying to spread negativity about bitcoins.
290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin transaction fees fair? on: January 27, 2018, 12:17:11 PM
I can't say whether its completely fair or not, but we pay the transaction fees for the miners who are carrying out our transaction. It is surely very irritating and high at times when there is alot of traffic. I think at such times you just shouldn't make any transactions as it might cause a noticable loss.
291  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I invest in BITCOIN ???? on: January 27, 2018, 12:14:29 PM
I think you should try investing in bitcoins and have some patience. The biggest  problem for you might be panic selling. If you have a little patience and don't panic, you can get alot of profit from your invested money.
If you are so scared with investing in bitcoins, I would suggest you to first try and invest the extra money you have, which you can afford to risk.
292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 14 banks transact bitcoins on: January 27, 2018, 12:10:42 PM
Well, this is a pretty good news and I hope the other banks accept bitcoin in time. This might be a good start and other banks should definitely follow this as there are alot of people who are into cryptocurrencies now. If this continues, in future when bitcoins/other cryptocurrencies get even more popular I think almost everyone will accept bitcoins as payments.

294  Economy / Services / Re: [BOUNTY] ⭐️CryptoBnB Signature Campaign⭐️Payments will be in BTC and Ckey🌟 on: January 26, 2018, 08:11:17 AM
Hello. I thought the payments will be issued every week, but then read the answer that they'll be made after the end of the campaign..
Are the stated in the rules rewards meant per week or per month?
And you have no escrow with funds, right?
Best,
kryptqnick

Hello, Q1: payment will be made after 4 weeks (after this campaign is done). Q2: I will ask the team for that possibility.  Smiley

Yeah, please ask them to make the payment every once a week. I mean, the Ckey rewards can be accumulated and paid on the 4th week but the Bitcoin is better to be paid every week.
I support that. I am for two years on the forum and I have met different campaigns here, you know, some of which didn't pay at all. I don't want to say that this project will cheat all of us, but I think it would be totally correct to pay BTC weekly and alt payment by the end of the campaign.
I agree with this too, can the btc payments be made weekly?
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to Buy? on: January 25, 2018, 07:09:35 PM
Yes, I think it is the best time to buy. Not everyone is looking scared but alot of people are looking scared and that is because they are expecting more price drops in a few days and they aren't sure if the price would go up again. Well, I think this drop is just temporary, but after such a huge drop we need to give the cryptocurrencies some time to recover. People will definitely start investing again after some time and when they do, the price will go up again.
296  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin hit $1 million? on: January 25, 2018, 04:38:06 PM
No, I don't think it can ever go so high. I mean it can but it would be pretty hard and might take forever to reach there. It might keep on increasing till like 100k$, but even that would take alot of time. Also, after the drop which happened recently, alot of people would have suffered from loss(the panic sellers of course), and I don't think most of these people would invest again, so the number of people investing would be less. So, I don't think bitcoin might ever reach 1M USD.
297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can be the media to spread about crypto? on: January 24, 2018, 07:09:58 PM
Well, the media can help alot in spreading information about bitcoins/other cryptocurrencies, but the problem I am observing is that there is alot of negativity about cryptocurrencies in news channels, etc. mainly about bitcoins. I mean alot of them are just showing that people lost their money through investing into bitcoins and stuff like that. I don't know why they don't show the advantages of cryptocurrencies. Social media like youtube, facebook, twitter and reddit can play an important role in spreading info about cryptos and it is doing that.
298  Economy / Speculation / Re: my prediction is always wrong on: January 23, 2018, 06:27:22 PM
Well, predicting bitcoin's value rise/fall of a short period of about one day is a pretty difficult task and I think you were just unlucky with this. You should try  predicting the value fall/rise for a longer period than that, of about 1 month or so to be more accurate. You can't actually know when people are going to invest/cash out their bitcoins, its just impossible. Also if you are getting worried that bitcoin will fall further, just don't because it will soon start to rise. We just need to give it some time after the huge fall it had in december.
299  Other / Archival / Re: Are you worried? on: January 23, 2018, 01:41:53 PM
I don't think you should be worried with this fall. You just need to give bitcoin/other cryptocurrencies some time to recover and become more stable than now. After a big fall of value (about 40%) it is definitely going to need some time to recover. So, one should not panic and sell now. 12 bitcoins is a pretty big amount and panic selling it might lead to a huge loss depending on when you invested so, it is not advisable at all.
300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tactics When Market is Falling on: January 23, 2018, 01:37:04 PM
Well, I think you did pretty good by remaining calm and you should continue it and yes, holding would be the best option now. People will surely start investing again in bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies. What most of the investors do is that they invest during such times when the value is on the lower side and hold it for a long time.
