Yeah alot of reputed altcoin's values are going down. I think the reason is obvious, the huge pricr rise of bitcoin recently. Bitcoin's price kind of doubled in the last month and while it's price was rising people thought that it would go even higher, alot of people invested in bitcoin during this time and some of the altcoin holders would have done the same. Now you can see the value of bitcoin falling a little bit which is going to fall even further I think and when it does people will start switching from bitcoin to the altcoins. So i think those altcoin's will regain their values.

Well about chosing your altcoins, people are investing their money on an altcoin and if they invest in the wrong altcoin which is not that good and it's price drops they will lose their money. So people research and find out which altcoin would be the best to invest in and then invest in it. If you won't chose the altcoins and carelessly invest in some coins which don't have potential you will suffer from loss. That would be the only reason i can think of.

If you are a newbie you can actually invest your money in bitcoin if you have,but don't invest in bitcoins now as the price may drop anytime soon. First of all I think you should do alot of reasearch about bitcoins, altcoins, ICOs, etc. You can also do some gambling if you want to multiply your bitcoins by luck but i won't advice doing that as it is pretty risky. You should try investing in ICOs after doing alot of reasearch on the ICO you want to invest in as there are also alot of scam ICOs emerging.You can also invest in altcoins which have a good amount of popularity like Ethereum which would br suitable for long time investments(for a few years). You can earn btc by posting on this forum but you'll need patience for getting to higher ranks here. If you got a good pc with some of the latest hardware you can try bitcoin mining too.

No, i don't think you should invest in bitcoin currently. Bitcoin's price is very high currently 15,853 dollars currently. There is alot of possibilty that the price may crash as it has increased with a great speed recently. I think you should wait until it's price drops to some extent and then you should invest when you see it's price starting to rise again. If your timing is correct you should probably get a good amount of profit. If you invest now and the price drops significantly you may suffer from loss.

Altcoin may have an  increase in their value. Bitcoin's value had boosted up alot but recently I see that it is dropping down. I think if it will keep on dropping down more and more people will invest in altcoins instead of bitcoins because of the fear of losing their money. But there is also a big chance that bitcoin's value goes up again, if that happens that many people won't invest in altcoins therefore the demand will become less and the altcoin's value might fall where as btc's value might increase.

No, don't put all your money into crypto. There is no guarantee that the value of ethereum will cross 1000$ in 2018. I know that there is some probability for it to get to 1000$ next year but, investing all your money in a cryptocurrency would not be advisable at all as there is also a chance that it may fail. If it does fail for some reasons you will lose all your money. If you want to invest you should only invest the money which you can afford to lose. If not, don't, investing all your money can be a huge risk.

Well you should invest in ethereum if you want to, but i dont think that it has any chance to reach 1000$ in january 2018. It is suitable for long time investment though. You should invest in it and hold it for a few years(1-2 years) i think. As of currently ethereum's price is 442$ and sometimes it goes up a little bit and sometimes down. It may change in time though. It's price may gradually increase from what it is now but it will take alot of time.

Well bitcoin has already hit the milestone of 15,000$ and currently its value is 16,240$. Bitcoin's value is rapidly increasing and if it keeps on increasing like this I think it may reach 20,000$ before new year. The chance is a little less but it surely will cross 18,000 dollars. But if the value increases so quickly there might also be a possibility for it to crash. But i think if  the increment remains similar to what is now it is durely going to cross 20,000$.

I think twitter and reddit would be the best social media for promoting an ICO. As most of the people would use that and if you have a huge number of followers on twitter you can promote anything well. No, i don't think so. I won't say it is in the process of killing off alt coins at all but the value of other coins may decrease because of bitcoin. Bitcoin's value is just increasing because it is the biggest coin as it is the original and the first cryptocurrency. Among the number of people who know about cryptocurrency there is a huge number of people who know only about bitcoins. Also if there are people who know about other coins most of them won't invest in it as they think they're not as big as bitcoin

Of course ethereum is a good altcoin. It's price is just growing day by day stably. I think it is the best altcoin after bitcoin. As you know that bitcoin has become very popular as it was the original cryptocurrency. That is the reason for its price to be high. Ethereum is also increasing  slow and steadily but it's demand is not as high as bitcoins as everyone wants to invest in bitcoins as the price is rising. Well i think the simplest answer to thid will be, as you know bitcoin was very successful and it's price id very high. It was the original cryptocurrency and also the modt popular cryptocurrency. After seeing bitcoin become so successful alot of new altcoins came out as people thought they would becomd as successful as bitcoin. Still only some of thr altcoins bring out something new. Most of them are just clones of others.

I don't think any of the altcoins are giving tought competitions to bitcoin currently, but some of the altcoins may give bitcoin tough competition in the future. Coins like ethereum are good to invest in. Its price is stable and is rising stably so you might like to invest in it for a long term. There are many other good altcoins too but as of now i think bitcoins are the best and most profitable to invest in.

Well i don't think you should do any of the options you mentioned above. Just keep holding that 0.01 bitcoin and just be patient for the price to rise. Also don't try to invest in other small altcoins. Just be patient wait for the 0.01 bitcoin's value to rise.After the price rises you should try investing in some good altcoins i think.

Yeah investing for the long term is an altcoin is a good idea only if you invest in the correct coin. For example if you invest in ethereum you might get alot of profit as its price is stably rising. If you invest in some other shitcoin you will probably lose your money. If you want to invest for a long term you need to invest in a good altcoin and then you might get alot of profit.

I don't think someone should invest all of his/her money in cryptocurrencies as their is always a risk. The prices of the cryptocurrencies are not stable and they might fall. I think someone should invest about 25% of his savings or maybe a little bit more but never 100% of it. If might not get loss even if you invest all of your money in cryptocurrencies though but still you should be careful and don't invest if you don't want to lose any money.

I think when Bitcoin's price starts to fall alot of people turn their bitcoin's into some other altcoins as they think it might fall even further, so they do it to avoid loss. So it is possible that the prices of altcoins may go up as alot of people would be investing into altcoins. Still there might not be much difference as people will still hold their money in bitcoins as bitcoin's price is most likely to go up again.
