1602  Economy / Securities / Re: Where to invest my bitcoins?? on: September 16, 2013, 02:05:29 PM
Coinlenders is a low risk low profit type investment or you could use justdice if you want a higher profit margin but a loss may happen as well
1603  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Coin of Midas :: Bitcoin Paid-to-Click on: September 16, 2013, 01:33:36 PM
the idea behind this site was great but I feel the amount of ads you can view on this site were always limited so it was a major turnoff and the owner probably was not making enough profit to keep interested
1604  Economy / Digital goods / Re: wtb bank verified paypal acccount on: September 16, 2013, 01:04:55 PM
Bank verified so you want us to sell you an account with our bank information linked to it? I doubt that will happen
1605  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mining Newbies on: September 16, 2013, 12:48:32 PM
i originally started mining for fun and as a hobby. I always look for new things to get involved with and this seemed interesting. Making money on top of it is great even if its not at a ROI
1606  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: mcxNOW - Scam or not? on: September 16, 2013, 12:41:12 PM
I had a balance here for 2-3 days and had no problem earning a small amount of interest and withdrawing the bitcoins after. It looks like it has a fair sized community and so far seems legit.
1607  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Free Bitspoker Chips on: September 16, 2013, 03:15:25 AM
It is a shame I used to play on this site daily but its been really dead now :/
1608  Economy / Speculation / Re: We are repeating 2012, not 2011 on: September 16, 2013, 02:44:24 AM
Never say never we may drop below 100 at some point if bitcoin crashes for whatever reason especially if it becomes centralized
1609  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Difficulty curve on: September 16, 2013, 12:46:55 AM
I also feel we have a long wait before the difficulty rise starts to slow down. We will have to wait until technology has peaked and more efficient miners are not being made.
1610  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: where to buy btc on: September 16, 2013, 12:43:49 AM
I personally have used coinbase to buy bitcoins and you pay with your bank account. Fees are minimal (especially compared to credit card/paypal sites) and it takes about 4 days for your first transaction. After 30 days from the first transaction you can buy instantly.
1611  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Best options for today? on: September 16, 2013, 12:25:34 AM
Hi,

Just wondering what the best options are if I were to purchase a miner today. Everywhere seems to either be pre-order only or not much above 10gh/s.

So, whats the best option?

Jump on the band wagon and wait a few months (if not more) for a powerful rig

OR

Buy a 10gh/s and mine it while it is still making a bit of cash?

At the moment I don't see any in-between.

Thoughts?

My recommendation is to wait for the difficulty to become more predictable and level out. By then new technology will become more affordable. Newer and Newer rigs are coming out putting even people that invested hundreds to thousands of dollars on rigs obsolete (most BFL rigs that never shipped are already obsolete). If you just want a hobby buy some cheap usb miners to mine for now (never expecting a ROI) or follow what gudmunsn said and buy bitcoins then invest them.

Very nice setup guys love how creative some of you guys got.
1613  Economy / Speculation / Re: Tired of 140$ on: September 15, 2013, 09:46:38 PM
Once the money flow drops, we may see a crash similar to the one of the 5th September.
I believe we are just a couple of hours from it.

What makes you think the value of bitcoin will drop the difficulty just increased dramatically
1614  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [HELP] Stratum Proxy and Bitminter mining pool on: September 15, 2013, 07:40:27 PM
Awesome! Good luck with your mining endeavours, all the best!

After mining for 7 hours on Slush's pool and then Bitminter's pool for 7 hours. I discovered that Slush's pool make more bitcoin.

Thanks, but I can see mining is like drug. No matter how much hash power you already got you want more and more. (Not that I am into any drug)  Grin

In the long run in theory bitminter will make more since the fees are less (by 1%) plus you get namecoins (although they are not worth much). You have to look at the stats for a week of mining since the hashrates are so different
1615  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: ASIC manufacturers " thinking outloud" on: September 15, 2013, 07:26:39 PM
So, if mining is consolidating into a few big players, maybe anybody can tell me why BTCGUILD is still so strong.

Wait until all the new rigs come out like cointerra. Also keep in mind the difficulty has not leveled off yet and is far from it when it does we will see the results of the centralized in full effect

1617  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Mining with asics is already dead. on: September 15, 2013, 05:28:11 PM
With this crazy increase in difficulty current low end mining rigs are becoming worthless and probably by the end of the year not be worth their electric costs for most people who pay electric
1618  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [25 TH/s] BitMinter.com [ASIC support: var diff, Stratum, GBT, rollntime] on: September 15, 2013, 03:47:28 PM
USB price erupters should have never been thought of to make ROI. When they came out people even said they will most likely not ROI. I bought them well knowingly they would not but more of an introduction into mining and have been satisfied with the few I did buy. People who boughts 100s and use them will definitely take a huge hit with these crazy increases in difficulty
1619  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mining Using your computer. on: September 15, 2013, 03:44:00 PM
If your going to mine on a computer make sure you are mining alt coins that use scrypt. These can not be mined by these huge mining hardware and because of this are more profitable to mine than bitcoin with a computer. Look at various websites online (google search) and you can see which ones are more profitable at the time than bitcoin (will range up to about 300% more profitable)
1620  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] CoinByCall.com - Get paid in BTC for listening radio over the phone on: September 14, 2013, 10:33:32 PM
Guys, we've just added the USA, finally. We don't have a paying radio station there yet so while we build up volume you'll listen to the Portugal station.

Spread the word, please! Smiley

sounds great going to give it a try! and will post back with a review

UPDATE: So far I have used it for 2 calls one was 10 minutes and one so far is an hour. I have received credit and so far it is working great! Glad it finally came to USA.
