1601  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Clients getting turned down by United Kingdom Banks | PM on other quest on: April 14, 2023, 07:33:54 AM
Reading this, I just remembered that banks ban and freeze accounts if they know that it involves crypto, like trading or investing. That is why, when my friends apply for a bank, they wouldn't say that it involves crypto, but they can still check it. If the coming money is huge, that is the time they will ask for proof of income, at which point they will freeze your account.
1602  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people stay poor? on: April 14, 2023, 05:30:13 AM
We need to all admit that being poor is a decision because one can be born poor but for him to settle down for it should be his own responsibility which he had failed to work upon in making things change for himself, everyone is striving towards that perfection in everything they do, we need to be very careful with the way we live our lives and how we set our mind or let me say mentality or orientation, this will only perfectly work out as expected if we remained determined for a change.

It's as if you want to be wealthy but are unable to do so due to your laziness. Also, being poor is not only about the financial aspect; it is also about our mentality. Those people who work hard just to get out of poverty are once rich in goals and mindset that one day they will get out on that line, but again, if our parents are not rich, most of us really end up starting from scratch to improve ourselves. As long as we strive a lot and put in hard work on this, it will really pay off in the future.
1603  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Technical analysis a must know in crypto trading? on: April 14, 2023, 04:31:13 AM
Technical analysis is a basic thing that needs to be learned in trading; i mean, most tutorials have this as this is where we start, like with the proper usage of indicators and how to integrate them into our strategy, or even just our strategy and additional gut or feeling, but there are also others who do naked trading and just trade based on a candlestick pattern. But you as a newbie, it is better to learn it too. I mean, it is a tool for you in trading, and you should also try it, and if it isn't working on you (which is impossible), then try fundamentals.
1604  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin is a light on: April 14, 2023, 03:31:13 AM
Just make bitcoin do its work; imagine reaching the ATH in previous years; people would then immediately notice it, right? They got curious and searched about it, and they learned it on their own. Bitcoin itself is just establishing its name, and it is calling those who really want to use it, and those who don't want it have nothing to do about it. It is really true that it is a waste of time convincing others; it is better that they found it out on their own.
1605  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: cashout money on: April 14, 2023, 02:31:14 AM
Even if you have full control over the account, if it is frozen, you can't do anything with it because the support staff or that casino will surely ask for ID of the owner, and even if you provide the ID, the possibility of recovering your money is low because you broke their terms, which is why the account was frozen. The only solution to this is to ask the owner of the account to submit their ID and try to unfreeze it so you can withdraw it using whatever method you want.
1606  Economy / Economics / Re: Is some certain lifestyle a waste of money and time ? on: April 14, 2023, 01:43:09 AM

Here is what happens to my friends and me and I am sure this is a reflection on different financial values and life attitude in general. Well, I don't drink any alchohol while a few friends of mine love drinking very much. They would gather to have dinner/drink almost every day(at least four times a week). I am often invited but due to my no-drinking habit, I usually turn the invitation down. We are all family men but they are a few years older than me. Their children are much older than my kid so probably they don't need their fathers' attention and time. I always put my family first so this is also one of the reasons I don't join them that frequently. Financially, every gathering meal/drinking is not cheap because it involves a lot of drinks and dishes. The average cost of such dinner/drinking is equivalent to 1/5 the average monthly income in the city where we live. So every month, the cost for these "gatherings" consumes all the income that a man can earn for months. This is considered a huge waste of money in many people's eyes cause most people don't earn much. Although I don't drink, occasionally I will treat them and pay the bills for the guesture of friendliness. Do you think my friends' lifestyle is a waste of money and time ? How much do you spend on such gatherings on average ? Please let me know.
Just as alcoholism is harmful to our human body, it also harms us financially.  It's a waste of money.  Although addicts enjoy drinking alcohol a lot, they don't know how much harm they are doing to their human body and financially. If your friend is drinking 5/6 days a week, he is slowly driving himself to death.  And he will face many problems financially in future due to unnecessary spending. Alcoholism is a bad addiction like gambling where once addicted one cannot quit very easily

Vices really affect your health as well as your money. Whether you are smoking or vaping, you are spending a lot of money. I do have an older coworker. He is telling me that he smokes 2 packs of cigarettes per day, which is $4 per day, for a total of $120 a month. He says that if he quits smoking when he is still young, he will be able to build a house and a car. He also drinks on a weekly basis, but I do drink too, like twice or three times a month, just to chill, but I don't spend a lot on it and treat it as a reward as I've known that I've overcome the stress over the month, but again, if you drink on a daily basis, that is not good.
Smoking is also a waste of money but smoking is slightly less harmful to health than drinking alcohol. Smoking is a thing that has written on its packet about the harm of eating it, that smoking is a cause of death.  But it has had such an impact on the youth that now around 22.3% of the world's total population is involved in smoking. It is one of the unnecessary expenses of people  Its amount is increasing day by day.  Because of this people are getting cancer in old age and huge amount of money is being wasted

Smoking is slightly less harmful to health than alchohol ? I disagree. Lung cancer is the No.1 cause of death in my country and most of the cases are caused by smoking or second-hand smoking. Even you don't smoke, your hushand or wife is a heavy smoker, you will get harmed easily every day. My maternal grand parents both died of lung cancer and my grandfather was a heavy smoker. Because of this, my mother and all of my aunts have asthma problem. Smoking is actually a far more serious problem than drinking alchohol. You have to drink alchohol to be an alchoholic but you don't have to smoke to be harmed by smoking. Too sad.
Of course, smoking is less harmful to the human body than drinking alcohol. And alcoholism is a bad habit if a person drinks alcohol regularly for some time he will get terribly addicted to it and he will not be able to give it up easily. And alcohol is very expensive.  A bottle of good liquor can cost anywhere from $50-$10000 but a pack of cigarettes costs only $1.5-$5. So drinking is a huge waste of money

I believe smoking is far worse because those who quit smoking can already see the effects, and it is also dangerous to others because they can inhale it, though both are dangerous, which is why we should try to quit if we can. Also, both are expensive, and they are extra expenses in our budget. If we stop doing these things, we could have extra money for sure, but the problem right now is that it is difficult to stop.
1607  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest your money wisely - another lesson, Techie tries to suicide. on: April 13, 2023, 04:17:56 PM
I've been hearing this kind of news since those collapse exchanges and other companies go bankrupt. I have no words, but I feel loss for them as they invest big money, and the problem is that they took a loan, they put their retirement almost everything, and the result is they really go broke, as in broke enough that they needed to start again in the beginning. This is really a big lesson for us: we need to invest what we can afford to lose just to be safe, even if we regret later on not going all in when we got a profit. It is better to be safe than sorry.
1608  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't encourage multiple trading! on: April 13, 2023, 02:01:03 PM
I do multiple trades, but it depends, like, if there is strong support or resistance. I am sure that this will go my way, but most of the time I take trades one at a time and set just a target profit on them because I do have limited capital. Though the profit of putting multiple trades is huge, the problem is that you lose a lot, like times the trades you put, unless you have a lot of balance, which you can still cater to, but this kind of strategy depends on the trader, which we need to respect.
1609  Economy / Gambling / Re: Consider open live casino (street gambling games) on: April 13, 2023, 11:45:48 AM
Well, there are many tips that can be useful when playing on the street, one of those is not to mess with the people who are there, sometimes you have to go with the flow, especially with those who seem to be more experienced, If you make friends with everyone it's much better, but not sharing and partying and drinking beers, because we don't know what kind of people they are, the more quiet and respectful it is, the more acceptable, but there is a balance, you can't be so quiet because otherwise they will suspect, I think that one should be oneself and the best tip is not to feel afraid under any circumstances, I think that is the best.

Not only in street casinos but everywhere we should be able to respect each other more so we don't get into trouble with anyone.
In a street casino there are many people who are sometimes also dangerous because there are many mafia who also enter the casino and they don't like to be disturbed and even dare to take risks if someone disturbs them.
Street casinos are more risky compared to other places, moreover, there are always people watching every visitor, so never make mistakes on purpose to avoid unwanted things.

The security is not that secure, and I think it is kind of in the same setting as an illegal casino that is in the dark, and most gamblers there are dangerous people with whom you should not mess. Though for sure it is still going well as long as the management is good, the security is really something we can't promise. Even myself, I won't be going into this kind of casino, even if it is legal, just to be safe.
1610  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you withdraw bitcoin this week? on: April 13, 2023, 10:41:06 AM
If the person needed it, then why not, but if you just sell it off, then i think it is not a good profit, mostly if you just own small bitcoins; unless you own multiple bitcoins, it is already huge. Also, if you keep holding until now, you will see that the price has reached $30k and it is still strong, so I am hoping for more. There is nothing wrong if you are selling it as you are contented but if you are really looking for bigger profit then hold it more
1611  Economy / Reputation / Re: I proudly 7 years as a Bitcoin investor. on: April 13, 2023, 09:19:03 AM
You must be happy because you own that huge amount of bitcoin in your wallet. I don't know where you hold it, but make sure that it is not in exchange, as you know you don't own it because you don't have the private key on that wallet. I am also amazed at those people who are able to hold bitcoin for more than five years because they have self-discipline and have not been tempted to sell it off in previous ATHs. Those who forgot that they bought bitcoin are lucky because they still figured it out and were able to open their wallets.
1612  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: we don't have proper education on bitcoin. on: April 13, 2023, 08:09:06 AM
For sure who uses social media and watching new heard about bitcoin but most of it is negative like getting scammed and used in illegal purposes, i think if we spread it in social media as well as in news TV about the good effect of bitcoin people will more understand it and for sure they will research and learn about it. The only way to introduce it to others is tell them thats all but I know that they will also notice it because of its price so they will still eventually try to know it
1613  Economy / Economics / Re: Woman loses $73,000 in Crypto Investment Fraud -Scammer plays Book of Friendship on: April 13, 2023, 06:37:33 AM
It is laughable but at the same time sorry and mostly she is 51 years old and that old but i feel more sorry on her , i know she made a big mistake and dumb mistake but if she is poor and struggling in life then that is very sad. We also have a news in our country a 60+ got scammed also as she thought his sone was in hospital and someone ask money thru text with unknown number. Scammer are heartless now a days they are doing everything just to scam people
1614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering requirements for withdraw on: April 13, 2023, 04:16:52 AM
I recently discovered that I signed up for a casino without thoroughly reading its terms and conditions agreement. But of course this was entirely my fault even that I am still bothered by the withdrawal requirements on deposits. It is well known that deposit bonuses or any bonus offered by a casino will have wagering requirements that goes to x50 or more. What truly concerns me is the 5X wagering requirement on normal deposits without any bonus in order to withdraw the initial deposit or winnings.
To clarify things better here is an example : if you were to deposit $1000 and win $200 in your first few games then you wouldnt be able to withdraw your winnings or even your deposits without wagering at least $5000. This means that 80% of the time, you would lose your money before reaching the required amount.
In my opinion this term is unfair. I am not attacking any specific casino, but I do believe that if users were aware of these requirements they would be less likely to deposit their money in such casinos since there are other casinos without such stringent requirements.

I noticed this also in new casino. I know it is your fault by not reading TOS but it is also good to find feedback from other gamblers about the casino. That is really a scammy move but that is thier way to prevent abusing their bonus, i remember before there are a lot of abusers on this that is why casino are getting smarter on this. This is really unfair to those not heavy gambler I mean it is just after for profit though i am also against on it but those who last in casino are those gamblers that wants to gamble a lot
1615  Economy / Gambling / Re: Enough to consider a casino scam? on: April 13, 2023, 02:23:39 AM
Well, I had an experience when I made a deposit and nothing happened, here's the point of online you take all the risks. The most unpleasant thing is that you can still be blocked by everything.
you did not even clear what you are saying here , you made a deposit then? what do you mean nothing happened? have you tried withdrawing and got nothing ? are you being blocked?
maybe you have something done wrong and that is the reason why?
because only scam site that will act as you mentioned , those legit will not bother taking your money as long as you are not abusing their site.

I think he meant is that he deposited but he havent received it on the casino or it didn't reflect. But he should make sure check the transaction if it was already sent because there are instances that it reverted back to your own account but if ever the transaction went through then for sure it is best to contact the support but again if they deny it then that is really a scam casino you should stay away on it
1616  Other / Off-topic / Re: Prepare for the life when you get old on: April 13, 2023, 01:28:08 AM
No one knows what our old age will be like.  so it's very good if we organize it from now on for old age later it's not too difficult if it's prepared early on, I always think even though I already have a permanent job I always want to have a side job outside of that the goal is many one of them so that if one day I leave work  there is still other preparation work
Always have that Plan B whenever your Plan A doesnt work but of course we should really be doing our best for making those initial plans and goals to be achieved in the first place.
My plan when i do get old is that i do really make my best on creating or making investment which it would really be beneficial for long term. Your kids would really be leaving you
when they get older or when they do raise their own family which is normal which means that you and your wife are the ones who would really be left in the end.
When you do get old you wont really be making yourself a burden with your children in terms of needs and maintainances considering that you could provide it on your own.
The problem is now we are enjoying or lulled in our comfortable moments, sometimes we don't think about our old age.  it's true, don't let us become a burden for children, therefore we have to start and be able to manage finances. The most difficult thing is managing finances and time to carry out plans A and B. but it must be prepared

The problem is that we keep saying that we have a lot of time until we get old but we never think that it will take more time before we can have money that will last us until weve gone. Also there are instances that we do want to save for life in the future but because of priorities like family and children we have no choice to prioritise them so still after they graduated or our responsibility is done with them that is the time we can save.
1617  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how will it be? on: April 12, 2023, 03:58:19 PM
That's actually a good point for you to not be left out on trend. But as a newbie like the OP, it's a good thinking to start by waiting for the DIP of the market for them to own a lot of coins. Maybe it would be good for the OP to wait for the DIP it just the safest way especially that's a huge amount of investment its a big loss. Still if you afford to lose the money risk could lead to two things, win and lose. And you couldn't get either of the two if you don't risk. It would be difficult to ask for someone calls especially its your money if you lose it you can't blame them. Trust your gut and the risk. In the volatile situation of the crypto there's no guarantee you'll succeed.
OP is planning long for his investment. even he plans for a new ATH or ATH to achieve in the future.
when you get the chance to buy, why not now? because he clearly knows how much ATH Bitcoin was in the previous bull season. and now there has been quite a decline. whether waiting is the right choice or not, but for me, when I have the opportunity to buy. never hesitate. it might be different if the plan is short term or trading.

You can buy it whenever you want as long as you have some spare cash. Even if I have a spare, I'll buy it with bitcoin because I don't want to miss the train like in the past because we were waiting for the dip but it turned out it was already the dip and just left us because we hadn't bought. Also, buying right now is a good preparation for next year's halving, so I am hoping for a positive year next year. I just need to work harder so that I can accumulate enough bitcoin.
1618  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tilt in gambling on: April 12, 2023, 01:34:07 PM
I really have problems with my emotions, mostly at work, but luckily I was able to control myself when it came to gambling because I do walk away when I get frustrated in a game, and I won't be playing if I'm angry because I lose a lot and I won't attract luck, which was the opposite when I was at work. Controlling emotions is the key to not losing a lot in gambling because, for sure, if you are angry, you'll lose more.
1619  Economy / Economics / Re: Automating your savings will help you save more on: April 12, 2023, 10:51:10 AM
This is my first time hearing this, and it is ideal for those who lack self-discipline and are unable to save themselves. But my question is: if there are really times that we are caught off guard, how do we tackle this? This is only good for those who have enough salary but spend too much on wants, but whose income is just enough to make it difficult but still possible.
1620  Economy / Economics / Re: Always Have a financial record in whatever business you own on: April 12, 2023, 09:42:22 AM
If we focus on profits then financial reports are important, we don't know whether the products we are selling are profitable or at a loss if we don't have financial reports, the easiest thing is to use a computer or application so we can easily monitor financial conditions and target profits we will get.

Nah, it is not only about the profit, but also about how the business is running—that is, imean is it doing well or not? Since that is the time you can also monitor if you need to improve or add innovation to your business. This is also the way you have reports in your business, unless you don't want to have a monthly update on your business to see if that month is going well or not. There are a lot of apps on smartphones and PCs to track your business, so it is better to make use of them.
