681  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble because you don't have sufficient money? on: July 31, 2023, 12:24:54 AM
Just think of a situation that there is no money involvement into gambling. What will be number of people using it, for the purpose of fun or to get excitement. It is all about the money that is connected with the gambling activity that lets you to be more interested into it. Everyone are into gambling for money except few people who have got sufficient money, but for some sort of thrill and excitement they've tasted in gambling. Anyhow the money making process depending on luck is another factor that makes people show much interest, if it is much about learning and executing maybe there'll be less users around.

Only a few, as we know, really want gambling because of money, but still, those who play will be the ones who really have fun with it, like playing games on your phone. There will be excitement and thrills without money, but again, only a few will play because most of their purpose is to gain money and get lucky enough to change their lives if they win big. Also, I've noticed that poor people bet more on less expensive things like the lottery to have a chance to win big.
682  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason why you will never become rich on: July 30, 2023, 01:32:46 PM
Now my question is: have you become rich when you've left responsibilities for your family? I don't know where you came from or what is really on your mind, but I don't see any hindrance to it. I mean, it can make you strive more and give you motivation because if you are just living alone and making a living on your own, trust me, you won't get rich that time unless you are a workaholic and very business-minded. Your family is your guide; trust me, they have more experience than you, and they are giving you advice on what makes you better. My only explanation for your lack of wealth is that you are too lazy to do things.
683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling experience using loan money on: July 30, 2023, 12:07:42 PM
I knew that there's many topic like this in the past that asking advice about loaning for gambling. The intention of this thread is determined what's the actual feeling when you are using a loan money on gambling knowing that there's an interest rate on your borrowed money which means you already lose part of your money before you start gambling.

I saw many high rank users here that asking for loan and directly deposit the loan amount on gambling account. I want to know what's the experience on using loan money. Is there additional pressure on gameplay or just the same using regular money without an interest rate.

I haven't taken a loan just to gamble, but for sure, those who do it are really out of their minds and just keep thinking of winning so that they can pay back their loan. This is really difficult because you are pressured to make sure you'll win because if not, you'll have a hard time paying it back. Also, I dont want to experience this because, for me, it is very stressful, and I don't want to know how stressful it is. Just imagine if you lose 80% of your money that you borrowed. I don't know what kind of mindset you'll have.
684  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just Another Good Source Of Motivation For You ... on: July 30, 2023, 10:41:26 AM
This analogy is relevant for people in 1st world countries. Rest of the world don't spend so much on food
True that...the rest of the world like you say have people who live on less than a dollar per day. Eating for this people is a luxury. We get it but this doesn't mean that people in these countries don't have their own form of guilty pleasure which they engage in once in awhile despite their harsh economic conditions. Also wanted to point out that with the Dollar cost averaging method of Bitcoin investment they can invest less than a dollar weekly, monthly or whatever period of time works for them. Where there is a will, there is a way.

For sure, in your entire life, you've already spent this amount in life. Why why still going to be a hater on this? I think it is better to think of positive things about it. I know and I can relate to the fact that all of us can't spend those amounts, even myself. I haven't spent a total of $100 in my entire life, but the context is that you've spent, let's say, $25 on a dinner, but that is worth like $100 because it's too huge for you. Numbers are irrelevant, but the context of them As you end your sentence, when there is a will, there is a way. Just imagine you've spent 1 bottle of alcoholic drink that you've just pissed off, but you've been regerting investing a dollar in bitcoin.
685  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hold coin on: July 30, 2023, 10:05:03 AM
That is your prediction, butI do say that it is possible that it will reach its new ATH, and we don't know if this will happen. Again, no one can predict the future, but again, we took that risk, if ever that happened. Others may say it's too good to be true, but again, nothing is impossible with Bitcoin. No matter what the price of Bitcoin is, I am going to be grateful, but I do really hope that this price will be reached.
686  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading is perfect work for jobless peoples on: July 30, 2023, 09:08:19 AM
The majority of jobless people these days have no idea and knowledge of trading, whether it's traditional, Forex, Stockc, or Cryptocurrency. And the others just feel like experts in crypto trading but in reality they are not. Although there is nothing wrong with turning it into a source of income, that's why you must have a deep understanding of these skills of crypto activity. Because if your knowledge is not deep or broad, it will be difficult for you to become a source of income for sure.

The problem with this is that if you haven't had a portfolio where you are earning profit for a few years, you are too confident that you are earning big even if you aren't. What I've noticed is that if you just won't trade, you are thinking that every time you trade, your entry will win and not thinking of negative things that make you lose. That is why it is better to quit your job if you  already have an established strategy that you'll earn over time, like if you've been earning 60% per year for the last 4 years, meaning your strategy is really working.
687  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if salaries were paid in BTC on: July 30, 2023, 06:37:21 AM
A friend of mine in our discussion today about Bitcoin was insisting that salaries and wages be paid in Bitcoin in some countries.
I was of the opinion that the government will not allow fiat to be replaced by Bitcoin .so what is your take on this will it be a positive move on the Bitcoin ecosystem or not

So far, I haven't met anybody in my hometown that is being paid in Bitcoins for his main salary. It's one thing to work on the side for some projects and be paid in BTC, but to receive all your money in BTC only might be a bit hard. First of all, the government wants its taxes in their own Fiat money. Sending them monthly BTC for the tax bill is probably not going to be accepted. The same goes for all the utility bills and other living expenses, I have to pay everything in Euro and can't choose to use BTC. It would be nice if the world changes so much that we could choose freely in which currency we want to pay our bills, but I don't see this happening any time soon. So, the only alternative is to exchange our BTC to Fiat on a regular basis each week or month, which creates a big risk if the BTC price moves in the wrong direction. Short term price movements could lead to financial losses if we need to pay bills during bear markets.

You still need to convert it to your own currency, even if you were paid in bitcoin. You are right; only a few merchants accept bitcoin as payment, and again, they are so few that you also don't notice them because most of the services that we pay for are in fiat. I haven't seen one that was receiving bitcoin as their main salary, but my coworker is almost doing this because we are paid via Paypal and it is banned in their country. I've tried to ask him, but he refuses, as I've seen again on TV that bitcoin is illegal.
688  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I Use Emergency funds or Sell my Assets ? on: July 30, 2023, 05:36:16 AM
I reluctantly followed the counsel of a financial advisor to fix my finances in order by creating a budget and tracking my expenses, inflow and outflow of cash using an excel sheet. The economy has been crazy in my country so I needed to do something urgently. My greatest realization after this is that inflation all round is destroying my budget. It's been  five months now. I am torn between using my emergency funds or selling some of my assets to cushion the effect of this economic situation. What do you suggest I do?

Use your emergency funds that are there for this specific purpose. Because if you sell your asset at the moment when the market is not looking good, you might end up losing your potential profit in the future. As far as inflation is concerned, it is hitting everyone hard and has shaken the budget of every individual.

The purpose of Emergency funds really is for those situations when you need some money, which is why I don't understand why the OP thinks of selling his assets. Though it may not be enough or for other reasons, you shouldn't sell off your assets unless you have no other choice, like if you are in debt and still need money. Though it is still your money and your decision, follow others opinions here so that you won't regret it in the future.
689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A weird belief among some gamblers. on: July 30, 2023, 04:06:23 AM
It's not weird for me, as I've heard this all the time, but it is double meaning: the person who is lucky will not want you to win or others because he just wants only one to win. Ive also heard from multiple people when sharing his prediction, as he is really lucky, but it turns out both of them lose. Well, that is his belief, and there are tons of other beliefs that are weird, like that a person will not take a bath because it could wash away his luck. Most of these beliefs are heard in the crowd of people in the rooster fight (I know this is a confidential topic).
690  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Way to explain what is the bitcoin on: July 30, 2023, 02:30:56 AM
If explaining this to a new person is  confusing and not easy to understand, it is better to explain it in a normal way, read an article online,or watch videos, even the one that explains Bitcoin in animation or cartoon form, as it really explains it well and anyone can understand it. Also, most people now prefer to watch videos online to learn things, so it's better to give good links to the person rather than have that kind of analogy.
691  Economy / Economics / Re: The gloomy light called subsidy. on: July 30, 2023, 12:56:41 AM
Subsidy is really good and a much needed one. This is a way to enrich and uplift people from the lower level to next level of living. This is the real purpose for which subsidy came into effect. In most of the countries this isn't getting followed in the right way as we will be able to see people who are filthy rich enjoying the benefits of subsidy. This is where the governments need to be corrupt free and the data management should be done perfectly so that the right person receives the subsidy and there is no need of removal of subsidy to handle the ongoing economic situation ans burden the real sufferers.

This is also what I've noticed: rich people are still availing themselves of it and enjoying it, which we know is not good because it should be intended for others. I can recall when the pandemic hit as most of my neighbors are rich and working in government, and only a few houses there are poor like us, but they also got a cash subsidy as well as food, even though they still go to work. I know sometimes that they are also affected by COVID, but they are still able to survive without it, and if those subsidies were given to others worthy, that could really help a lot.
692  Economy / Economics / Re: What are some financial secrets that you know of? on: July 28, 2023, 03:55:31 PM
I don't have any secrets and to be honest, if some people around here indeed have some secrets which help to accumulate money I doubt they would reveal them out of the blue just because you asked, OP.  Wink

It is a matter of common sense, I think. It can be better to do your own research and even get some professional financial advise if you get it.

There people out there in the economic capitals of the world, whose work is to manage money to take a good cut of it. Consider that.

That's why it's called a secret right, because once people acknowledged that method they are doing for earning money for sure it could be an competition. Still I think that those methods that they've discovered is from exploring and risking their assets too so that could one of the reason for them not to reveal it. With or without financial advise if you are eager to learn and earn you would always find way to profit. Were already in the era of the internet there's a lot of advices and techniques online why do you think despite of the information online still some people doesn't become successful? Because it's still depend on the person on how they manage their financial. Even those government officials whose corrupt which is illegal they won't even reveal it to the public lol.

I just remembered something about not sharing secrets. Before, when you ask someone who is earning online, they are not sharing information on you; they are telling an alibis or they will say it is secret, which means if it is revealed, there will be competition on it, and it is possible that they can lose it. That is why it is kept secret, as the risk of this for them is huge. They can only give tips, like they will research this, but they won't tell you the right method on how to earn that way.
693  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just Another Good Source Of Motivation For You ... on: July 28, 2023, 02:22:13 PM
I am the kind of person who really gets into motivational quotes that really hit me hard and make me think something, which is the same with the statement that you can ponder since it is true. The problem really is that when it comes to investing, we are always thinking of profit, but when eating at expensive restaurants, we are just expecting good food, and again, you are just going to spit it out by tomorrow. I would be downloading this image just to remind me whenever I needed it.
694  Economy / Economics / Re: Bad impact when You carry out Online or Offline Loans on an ongoing basis on: July 28, 2023, 12:37:41 PM
Loan can be so useful. This depends on what you want to use it for. Most of this successful business man and woman leave on loans. Loan can be taken for business purpose if you have a good means of paying back.
Loans can indeed be very useful if used for business capital with good goals along with long-term development goals for the business. Because someone will not be wrong to make a loan if the goal is for business, but until now there are still a small number of people who also make loans for things that are not a business, so this step is a very wrong step because in the end they will experience more difficulties in their life. Whether it's financial difficulties as before, or difficulties for those who have to pay off loans they've made before.

Though other people have no choice but to take out a loan because they can't buy the things they need, Though I don't say that a loan is good, let's say if you don't take out a loan to buy a laptop or PC, you won't have it unless you are very disciplined to save that amount and buy it in cash (which sometimes I have a hard time with), and others take out a loan to build a house, and they are saying if they don't take a loan, they will die saving their money before they can build a house. Though it is still not that advisable, if, with purpose, you can pay it on a monthly basis, then there is nothing wrong with it.
695  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the impact of this news on Bitcoin adoption ? on: July 28, 2023, 11:38:46 AM
Any kind of adoption is really great news, no matter if even a small business accepts bitcoin, as this is part of Bitcoin progress, but the impact is just the same as if not the whole population of the country uses EV, meaning only a few people will use EV and are not sure if they will pay via bitcoin, as for sure there are other payment methods on those stations like CC and etc., but still there will be other people that will pay via bitcoin.
696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pros and Cons of Crypto vs. Traditional Gambling on: July 28, 2023, 09:02:55 AM
What I really noticed in traditional casino or gambling is that the way you deposit money on it is sometimes difficult, like there are many platforms that you need to go through. There are still casinos that have used e-wallets with our local currency, but the problem is that most of those casinos that are using them that I am aware of are not legal; they mostly got closed down, and others won't release your winnings. That is mostly what I have noticed, and there are no established online casinos that I know of in our country that are using e-wallet. That is why I prefer crypto, as it is legal internationally and has been established already.
697  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'll always tell people about bitcoin on: July 28, 2023, 06:59:53 AM
You are a really brave person, and for sure you'll still haven't encountered a person who keeps blaming you. You introduce him because you know there are kinds of people whose mindset is to blame anyone when they lose, etc., and I want to avoid this kind of person as it affects me a lot and I'm not comfortable with it. Though it is your choice, which is still good, and that is what you prefer, we won't stop you about this as you really want to help others.
698  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if BTC won't see ATH again? on: July 28, 2023, 04:12:18 AM
Let's be honest, market do not follow any rules. There is no rule or law that says BTC should reach another ATH next cycle and next after. What if 69K was the maximum it could reach, and for the next years or decades it will be mostly fluctuating between 15k and let's say 40k.

So, let's collect here the reasons why there will be ATH for BTC.
Name one (at least) reason, please.

Some reasons collected so far:

1. "More than 90% of the people in this world has not yet bought bitcoin, do not worry, the adoption is still continuing. You will still see bitcoin at $100000 ane more."
2. "... as long as fiat inflation is still happening (which means a decrease in purchasing power), you can rest assured that assets like Bitcoin will keep going strong."
3. "We might see multiple ATH in the future once fiat explode. Bitcoin is the alternative and safe haven for people to escape inflation."
Actually i couldn’t think only negative. I am always positive thinking man. I think within 2024 Bitcoin will go New ATH. Day by day Bitcoin Being popular. You told till now 90% people in the world not bought Bitcoin. But i think gradually people are buying bitcoin and this buying people gradually increasing. I think within 1/2 years 15%-20% people will buy Bitcoin. And if it will happen then i think bitcoin price will hit minimum $150k-$200k there has no doubt. So i believe within short time bitcoin price will touch new ATH.

We are very opposite. I mean, I am not that negative, but I usually do not expect things because if I do, I can't control my emotions. But right now, while holding bitcoin, I do say that there is a real possibility that Bitcoin won't reach its current price. What if next year it was the opposite? We don't know. I'm the kind of person who settles on what the price is; if I just gain a small profit, then I'm good with it. Most of us were expecting it, but I'd be content whether it reached or didn't, but I'd prefer it hit another ATH.
699  Economy / Economics / Re: What roles does the poor play in the Economy? on: July 28, 2023, 03:11:58 AM
In what ways have the people living in poverty impacted in the economy?
Share your ideas on the importance of the poor masses in economy sustainability.

I think the poor plays important role in the economy because without the manpower coming from them the businesses in different countries will not move or will not operate. They can contribute positively in our economy because as consumers they can  impact on the purchases of goods and services which is much needed by the businesses to be able to survive the economy. The demands create by this people from basic necessities like food and clothing and the likes would definitely run our economy. That is why the poor play an important role in the economy.
The poor plays a very important role in the economy of a country although it does not make sense when there is high numbers of poor masses in a country. A country that has large numbers of poor people will suffer crime and corruption if time is nit taken. The poor people are those ones that will want to do Petty jobs to make a living like doing the work that rich can not do and since they have the money to pay for the services of the less stable financial people, then they will be forced to work for themselves and make a living to feed themselves and families.

It should have balance because if not, the crime rate will increase, like in other poor countries where the crime rate is really high, but again, the poor sector is not only manpower but also consumers, meaning they are the ones purchasing goods and other stuff for their daily needs, which means that's keeping the economy in cycle. Though I don't really want that, just stay in the sector if you can improve yourself and be in a better position.
700  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Advice for newbies on: July 28, 2023, 02:13:23 AM
How about keeping it simple, but when there is dip or buy when you have funds for it or buy using the DCA method, hodl for long and sell off when your profits target is reached.

I believe this tips is much easier and safer for newbie coming into cryptocurrency just for investment purposes. The only reason for going into deep crypto learning is when you want to be a regular trader. Because you need those knowledge of technical analysis and fundamental analysis
That is the most basic strategy when it comes to hodling crypto, buy low and sell high. If you stick to it, you will still be profitable in due time. However, if you decide to be more profitable by engaging yourself in trading, well you have to knowledgeable and skillful at the same time. And by being good in technical analysis, which I think is very important when you trade, you will have an advantage in trading aside from those mindset and attitude that a good trader should possess.

It seems easy to say buy low, sell high, but a lot of people lost tons of money doing this because others thought that it was already low but it went deeper and they sold off. Others also kept waiting for the lowest price or dip but turned out to be left behind. That is why it is better to be knowledgeable first and not expect that just by buying low and selling high you'll gain more profit. That is why others are engaging more in holding for a longer period of time as they are sure that they can earn profit from it.
