I wouldn't worry about anything.  There are checkpoints built into LTC to roll back to even if the chain gets forked.  Nothing is going to happen.

I wish there was a facepalm face I could slap onto this post.

LOL SC Sockpuppet came out of the wood work.

Why so quiet eh? Oh right....because your precious soiledcoin is dead.

hahahahaha
16087  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / BCX Don't do it on: July 24, 2012, 07:02:22 AM
Okay honestly I have 0.01 LTC currently. I sold them all and made huge profits.

This isn't about me though. I think LTC has a future and Coblee has always been a pretty cool guy. Unless we are going to have a planned stress test of LTC...in which you dont have intentions of harming the LTC network, i'm going to ask nicely that you dont go ahead on attacking the chain just because some people called you out on BTC-e.com

This is me doing my part to salvage anyone who has poured BTC/$ into LTC and has a vested interest in LTC succeeding.

Just doing my part...

Didn't BTC-e drop SC because no one was trading it? So if there's 0 demand why bother starting another exchange?

Because if enough people buy SC I'll 51% LTC after DDoS finishes off the pools.

~BCX~

Why attack/51% ltc?

Well quite a few have pointed I have successfully 51% attacked TBX, exterminated FBX, hit Geistgeld twice, and terrorized Namecoin before it merged, 51% attacked IXC and IOC more times than I count and successfully DS attacked Bitparking.....and never once bothered LTC.

I was cool with that till a couple of the LTC people for no reason decided to jump all over me in BTC-E the other day and told me to take my best shot. How's pool mining been?

~BCX~

I still think if you're cool with me and Coblee you wouldn't attack LTC.

I dont think many of us would have a problem if it were a planned attack to test LTC but not to break it or to kill confidence in it.

Wow this is the first time I disagree with you BCX. Why not just 51% LTC now?
16090  Economy / Speculation / Re: Prediction we will hit $7.50 in the next 3 weeks. on: July 24, 2012, 03:25:26 AM
I think we're building up for a drop even further than $7.50.

I concur....I was being modest in my estimation...3 weeks as I said...could be in 5 days...but then again I'm not perfect in timing these things. I just know they will happen (fairly well).

Litecoin will more then likely become the "usable" currency were as Bitcoin will probably end up being an investment stock.  Just like you'd horde gold and spend your dollars.

You mean a relationship like the one between freicoin and bitcoin is intended?
Dont you think if gold was more easily to handle physically and easily divisible like bitcoin is, people would trade it for goods just like dollars? I as a merchant would even prefer that over fiat. People would probably rather hold gold in their purses than USD. The only problem is, that it is too heavy to carry around and so difficult to pay for goods of minor value with it.

All currencies have their problems.  I think the big thing with gold is it's fluctuating dollar point and the way the government treats it.  Bitcoin will certainly see issues like this.  I find it interesting and hopefully profitable.

As long as bitcoin is never regulated...which I can't ever see happening, bitcoin will never have a price surpression. The free market will give it value.
16093  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: What happens when the block reward halves to 25? on: July 24, 2012, 02:15:08 AM

When i heard "there will never be more then 21million bitcoins" My first thoughts were:  You can always dig up more gold out of the ground, but you cannot make more bitcoins.

bitcoins will be more valuable then gold.  Providing the internet stays up and nodes can stay connected.

Just fork the chain...there you got more "bitcoins" but they are called something different. Litecoins are a fork of bitcoin so there you go. Voila

@Coinhinter, RealSolid and/or Notyep (if you're still existing as three distinct voices in your head)

What's the current update on MicroCash?

I'm almost ready to beta test my new Solidcoin Exchange called BCEXchange. Not because I like of any of you or think Solidcoin or Microcash for that matter has any future, but to simply enjoy the fact the only place you have to trade Solidcoin into real money will be through me. In addition I've mined a shitload of Solidcoin over the past months as well scooped a huge amount in off exchange buys. I plan on running it fair and not ripping anyone off but I do plan on unloading a lot of Solidcoin via my own exchange as well giving you guys a place to trade.

How's that for straight up honesty?

So hopefully you haven't started back on your meds and silenced those demons we all love over at Bitcointalk so love.

Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Wanna be a troll now? Grin Grin Grin

Edit: Sold 227k LTC for 1256 BTC....then price rose to $9.20

Sure, it would be bullish but I've seen no evidence he is in a short squeeze.  Just a bunch of wild imaginations.

Okay okay how much do you have invested with pirate currently?

He's got a few BTC of mine.  So where's the evidence?

Dunno...asking the wrong person...

"a few"...like > 1000 BTC?

Why does it matter?  Why are you refusing to back up your accusations?

Where did I make accusations of a short squeeze?

Oh sorry, you jumped the middle of my reply to ArcticMine.  Way to pull a notme Tongue.

LOL...that's funny...and I'm trying to look in my post history of where I might have put up a post like that...lol guess I never did.

NOTME! hahaha
