16901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [CUT YOUR LOSSES] SOLIDCOIN on: September 07, 2011, 07:36:42 PM
Was I bragging? I thought my exact words were "To be fair my exchange is currently at 85k volume."

That doesn't read to me as bragging but rather just stating a fact. I thought my writing was pretty clearly neutral in tone. Perhaps you are just mad because I called your reading comprehension skills into question, but this only seems to validate my point.

You're up to about 0.01 again :-D good job mrmoon!

I wouldn't expect it to stay there for very long.
16902  Economy / Speculation / Re: Panic Selling To Come on: September 07, 2011, 07:34:12 PM
What? Excuse me mister, what do you think you are doing posting in here without slavish devotion to the cult of the bitcoin? It's the currency of the future! There is literally nothing on this earth that can halt the success of the coming cryptocurrency age! It's going UP, UP, UP!

The trend for the next few months will be downward but I don't think prices will drop as fast as you suggest... There are still many dumb people around, who somehow still have money left to buy bitcoins. You are right about no new money though.

I guess it dropping from $15 to $5 was also not something that could happen. That's a 66% drop. If we take the previous high of $12 then that says it could drop to $4 or lower.

I never said it would stay down there either.
16903  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CoinHunter now censoring posts on SolidCoin forums on: September 07, 2011, 07:16:24 PM
My guess: In the next month there will be at least 4 new alt-chains introduced.

And I've got my miners waiting Cheesy

Me too. i have turned mine all off until further notice.
16904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CoinHunter now censoring posts on SolidCoin forums on: September 07, 2011, 07:15:46 PM
I think people should move on from solidcoin.

Why the sudden change of heart?

Sudden? I've never pushed solidcoin. In fact in the past 10 or 12 days I've given reason to move on from the project.
16905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ALERT] SOLIDCOIN DESIGN CONTEST on: September 07, 2011, 07:14:50 PM
I was talking about your donation of negative 1050 to help the SC crew.

Wink Yeah no one caught that from there end. But it's all been cleared up.

I'd take a bounty for doing nothing.
16906  Economy / Speculation / Panic Selling To Come on: September 07, 2011, 07:10:24 PM
Later this month or early next month there will be panic selling pushing the price down to the $1.50 to $4.00 level.

Looking at the chart of close prices on a weekly basis for mt. gox the market will test the $6.00  weekly close once again and likely will break it.

We have had nothing but failures and let-downs:

1. Mt. Gox Hack
2. Bit-o-mat exchange failing.
3. Mybitcoin.com
4. Bruce Wagner's past being revealed and Bruce not following through on his word and promises he made concerning his show.
5. Alt-chains are coming out that pose as test scenarios/experiments that will eventually add more usable and desired features into a block chain than bitcoin.
6. There are an excess supply of bitcoins created everyday of which there is no new money or incentive for investors to buy them with.

I'm sure there are other bearing topics but I'll stop there.

16907  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price will likely keep moving up today. on: September 07, 2011, 07:01:14 PM
I predict that the rest of this month will be an overall of falling prices.

Bottom likely $2 to $4.50 for this month.
16908  Economy / Speculation / Re: value prediction for tonight 12am eastern on: September 07, 2011, 06:57:06 PM
7:20

AM or PM?? LOL  Cheesy

They were asking about price not time.
16909  Economy / Speculation / Re: We have seen the bottom on: September 07, 2011, 06:54:58 PM
I disagree. Price did not bottom.

We recently broke a long-term trend line. Likely we will stay below it (i.e. $10.50 highest value to be reached).
16910  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will never reach $20 again on: September 07, 2011, 06:37:19 PM
Can't wait till we hit $20 after Bitcon so I can come back into this thread and LAUGH.

Guess your predictions were wrong?  Roll Eyes
16911  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ALERT] SOLIDCOIN DESIGN CONTEST on: September 07, 2011, 06:33:38 PM
Hilarious!  Smoothie, I'm so glad you never got into making usless shit posts like everyone else.  This is classic stuff.   Cheesy

Not really sure what is so classic.

It's true that the driving force is profit. I'm here to profit as well.
16912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CoinHunter now censoring posts on SolidCoin forums on: September 07, 2011, 06:32:31 PM
I think people should move on from solidcoin. There will be other projects that have more to offer. I wouldn't limit myself to one alt-chain in hopes that it does take off. Be patient and make smart decisions on which alt-chain will survive.

My guess: In the next month there will be at least 4 new alt-chains introduced.
16913  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ALERT] SOLIDCOIN DESIGN CONTEST on: September 07, 2011, 06:16:16 PM
Coinhunter is not the only part of Solidcoin. Whether people like him or not, the truth is this currency is now being held by thousands of people. I don't think all these people should be lumped in with the same kind of personality that Coinhunter has. Coinhunter is an individual and he chooses to live his life, his way. There is nothing me or anyone else can tell him about that, however he does not try limit nor control the economy of Solidcoin and as long as that remains true I will continue to invest in this auxiliary chain that has big potential.

Thousands of people you say? The thing is you can't prove that because thousands of addresses does not mean thousands of people. It's a lie.

Do you SolidCoin people have a psychological exam before they let you on the project so only the sociopaths get in? I'm just wondering why you lot lie non-stop.

He meant a few ppl owns Thousands of Thousands of solidcoins.
Why do you think people do volunteer work for solidcoins?
Is it because they care about thousands of people?
Nope, they do it because they own thousands of coins.

/truth

+1 Solidcoin is not a charity project. Profit is the driving force.
16914  Economy / Speculation / Re: Rally!! Back up to $7 on: September 07, 2011, 07:20:21 AM
It turned around with a buywall of 3000 coins at 6.66.  This buywall dissapeared but the price kept rising.  Then they stagnated, but they never fell below 6.66 ever despite nearly going down.  Then a miracle happened and a buywall appeared at 7.71 and then the price got surging.
The price is nearly at $8 now

But the most interesting thing is the buywall is back, at 6.66 and it's at 11,000 coins and climbing.
It really seems calling on divine intervention (the devil in this case) worked.

Lesson learned: Satan helps bitcoins.

Now its closer to $7.00.

So much for a full scale rally.
16915  Economy / Speculation / Re: Rally!! Back up to $7 on: September 07, 2011, 06:29:33 AM
We just broke a long-term trend line. I suspect you will see it go up to at most $8.25 and then we're headed south to $4 to $5 then a bounce of a $1.50 then further descent.
16916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coinhunter is wasting his talent on: September 07, 2011, 04:37:31 AM
Viper, thank you for your honesty. My motives were purely profit and they will be. I don't mind giving input on a concept or project but i don't take too kind to taunting and blatant disrespect like coinhunter displayed.

If you choose to be a part of the solidcoin project then that's great. I personally think it will end at some point due to overshadowing from other alt-chains that come out.

Solidcoin to me was a good step in the right direction but the term "solidcoin" now leaves me and possibly others with a bad taste in our mouths when we hear the term.

Thanks again.

16918  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin Show on OnlyOneTV.com on: September 07, 2011, 02:16:11 AM

I watched the video and he never said it wasnt a live show from what I could remember.
16919  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin at USD $6.50... is something burning? on: September 06, 2011, 10:52:48 PM
$0.10 bitcoins

All the technology is in place for bitcoins to be replaced. Change the source code that is used (alt-chain) and voila.

Plus there are much more bitcoins than the alt-chains. The  supply part is out of whack too.

Bitcoin was a proof-of-concept. Another chain can replace bitcoins, not saying it will happen, but it could.
16920  Economy / Speculation / Re: POLL: When the coin price bottoms out, how fast will it rise? on: September 06, 2011, 10:47:55 PM
The "decline to zero" scenario means cessation of all trade in Bitcoin. Silk Road etc. alone make that seem unlikely to me, unless something better comes along.

I dont think it will go to zero but I think it may go to and stay in a range of $0.50 to $2.00 for a while.
