Hehe, Ok THIS one was my coin. Chain of ownership goes Casascius > Nubbins > Myself > Blazedout; since that is important to some people.

I would not place a limit on the order, if the buyer would handle shipping. But 100gms is the minimum order at which we can ship at our own cost.

The nuggets have variable weights, and do not contain solid impurities. We can ship worldwide.

Salty: How many grams would you need in order to satisfy your testing? We can share the shipping cost (Included in the escrow amount). Though we are yet to decide whether to use bithalo or a human escrow.

I'd be happy to place an order to test in the next week or so, waiting for a CNC mill to arrive so I can make my own graphite molds (cough hint to the community) really I can test with any amount 1g-2g or larger.

I'd prefer a human escrow since I've never used escrow, there are a lot of forum members who have been trustworthy with an obscene amount of BTC, and it would be against self interest to act unfaithfully as an escrow agent, as they will make more money in the long run. I'd recommend TomatoCage, Kluge, DannyHamilton, OGNasty, or JohnK, but I'm open to suggestions if you have any people in mind.

How would you like to do this trade? We have agreed to ship 10grams for testing. Where do we ship to? So as to have a final costing that will enable a start the escrow process.

Pmed with shipping info.
1623  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Casascius coin selection eBay has gone to shit! on: December 20, 2014, 02:00:00 AM
I'm sort of passively looking for a Casascius bearer bar, I did a search for them and tons were sold 6 months ago at a reasonable price even! Not much on the market now. Has the Casascius market dried up?
1624  Other / Meta / Re: Spondoolies Spam on: December 19, 2014, 11:50:54 PM
Moved this into Meta, but I wont touch the issue any further since I'm involved and bias could be unfair.

To be fair, I'm planning to upgrade to a SP31/35 (as per the thread wtt request) so not being a total jerk/ingrate in selling/trading it.
1625  Other / Meta / Re: selling bitcoin accounts on: December 19, 2014, 07:34:03 PM
Frankly speaking, buying accounts to scam is a gamble. Accounts around here have value inherently for a number of reasons, Signature Advertising, Business opportunity, Scam opportunity, etc. If you want to buy a newbie account with no trust, it doesn't have much opportunity involved, so it would be cheap. If you want a legendary account that already has trust, you would be paying for all of those reasons. If someone wants to gamble on scamming they will need to put in a very large investment for a decent chance, say 5 BTC for a legendary account with a bit of trust. If you already have a bunch of bitcoins, rather than wasting it on an account which may or may not get flagged right away, why wouldn't you use those bitcoins to make more bitcoins legitimately?

I'm not saying account  buying for the intention of scamming doesn't happen, I'm sure it does, but its a lot more uncommon than people purchasing accounts for the purpose of signature advertising which is a more guaranteed and legitimate way to make BTC.

1627  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Amagi Metals - Best Prices of Gold, Silver, & Platinum for Bitcoins on: December 19, 2014, 07:36:18 AM
Hey Amagi, do you ever offer junk .999 silver rounds/bars? Such as things that have been damaged or badly tarnished like this?
http://www.apmex.com/product/156/generic-silver-per-ounce

I'm in the market for a steady supply of .999 silver for a project, and it doesn't really matter what condition its in. I'd rather avoid melting down eagles and things that have an inherent numismatic value. Just figured I'd ask you first, since you are my favorite metal dealers. Also, I'm assuming you have a wide network of metal dealers, I'm looking for a more obscure metal, Germanium. If you know of any suppliers you are partnered with, I'd appreciate a referral

Thanks much.

I'd love to work out some sort of a trade for it if you're interested in other objects (Casascius coins, NastyFans Minted Seats?).  PM me with some possibilities.

pmed.
1630  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS/WTT] Spondoolies SP20 + BTC for SP30/35 on: December 19, 2014, 01:32:15 AM
Warranty remains ?

or Note: The units are not for reselling or distribution. Reshipping the units will void the warranty.

300 USD+ shipping

No thank you, I don't know what the warranty status is on it, but its 3 days old, and probably not depreciated over 50%.
1631  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS/WTT] Spondoolies SP20 + BTC for SP30/35 on: December 19, 2014, 12:11:56 AM
Hello BCT, I was recently part of the Spondoolies Legendary promotion where I was given a SP20 unit to test: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=887807.0
Review here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=896134.0

I'm now considering upgrading to a SP31 or SP35 unit given that I can upgrade my house's electrical. I'm looking to either sell the SP20, or trade the SP20 + BTC for a SP31/35. I'm open to offers, Shipping from the US, so I'd prefer to either sell or trade with someone also in the US.

If you would like to work something out, please PM me.

Maybe IP bans for the spammers then? That might help a bit.

Already being done.
1633  Other / Meta / Re: Can we get nubie jail back please. on: December 18, 2014, 10:34:27 PM
Newbie Jail never kept spammers out, it just kept real newbies out of the conversations. People that are making accounts to spam have no problem waiting a few hours before being allowed to spam, they just create accounts in 6 hour shifts/waves. What newbie jail did was discourage the person with the intention of looking around at all of the boards and finding topics that actually interest or apply to them. If someone hears about Bitcoin and wants to come learn more, they should be able to without being penalized. If we penalize real newbies, they might just lose interest and leave.
1634  Economy / Goods / Re: Wholesale Gold Nuggets on: December 18, 2014, 08:31:32 PM
May be interested in some of you gold nuggets. As of late I've been testing/ melting a fair amount of gold and silver, so I'd be happy to purchase a small amount to begin with if you have it vetted or use escrow so that I may test it myself when I receive it.  Have you shipped to the US before, and if so do you know what the shipping costs would be for a few grams?

Don't take this as any offense if I'm incorrect, but this looks very much like gold plated tungsten from this picture. You can't blame people for being suspicious when you come out of nowhere with millions of dollars of gold.

I'm not a certified Assayer, but I've got melting/casting equipment, ultrasound machines, and quite a few years in the metal trade. Obviously I'm not going to judge your business from what could be bad lighting, but just figured I'd point it out so you could address that.

"Got Wood?"

But really, great piece, I laughed out loud a bit. Imagine buying that as an art piece, displaying it and trying to explain it to relatives that have no knowledge of the Bitcoin space when they came to visit. Yeah mom/dad I swear its uhh... art... Funny story, BFL was this company that screwed me ov... uhhhhhh crap I mean....
1637  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Sony Pictures Pulls “The Interview” From Theaters on: December 18, 2014, 12:21:04 AM
I've personally been against this movie all along (even before the Sony hack and such) and I'm glad they stopped showing it. There is a very obvious difference between parody movies (think Team America World Police) and a thinly veiled realistic threat that the US is going to use the media to assassinate the leader of North Korea. I wasn't worried about hurting Kim Jong Un's feelings, I was worried that the movie would make him more paranoid and it would put Americans or suspected Americans in danger. Look at American cinematography, there are hundreds of movies about the president being kidnapped by terrorists, aliens, the works, but they are always either fictional presidents or an already dead ones. If a North Korean movie came out about an attempted hit on the president, there would be a lot of protest and people calling it propaganda.

Am I against freedom of expression? No, but I think there is a major double standard here. That and North Korea doesn't need any more reasons somewhat fictional or not, to suspect the US of an assassination attempt against Kim.

1639  Economy / Goods / Re: Iphone 4s selling question on: December 17, 2014, 08:33:53 PM
Is it locked to Verizon or Unlocked? If its unlocked I might be interested in buying it. This may be a stupid question, I just don't know as I've never had a phone contract, I'd guess that Verizon would lock it to their service since they gave it to you, but I figure its worth asking.
1640  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Review] Spondoolies SP20 on: December 17, 2014, 08:27:30 PM
Salty, if there are enough funds and will, try a flat one (SP31/SP35)! You'll need a 208V/240V circuit being able to deliver ~16Amps constant for optimal performance though. They run on 110V if necessary, with double the Amps, however the hash-rate is a little lower due to heat loss everywhere in the power supply chain. The good part is that the rack version comes with server grade PSUs and you won't need to paperclip anything.

The modified MinePeon interface you liked, is present on ALL miners coming from SPT and the "learning curve" jumping from one version to another is almost like a farmland horizon ..
There are only minor changes to the ASIC page depending on the configuration, everything else looking identical.

I'm considering purchasing a SP35, power is indeed my concern. I upgraded a few of my breakers to 40 Amp, but they are still 120V. I'm thinking about converting a few receptacles over to 240V but I'd have to measure my house's total load. I've got a space with two receptacles on two different breakers both with with 40Amps and 120V. Sadly its too near my living space, so I'd have to find a near noiseless solution if I wanted to use that spot. I've got another spot out of the way that is a single receptacle 120V and 40 Amps where I could place some hardware, but I think I might change it to 240V and 20A for situations like these.

Whats the approx decibel readout on the SP31/35?
