How do you intend to build the database? Far as i know...Google will crawl for keywords and add it to their list of indexed website. So what's your strategy to get this done.

Gold in part holds its value because of its limited supply. Unlike fiat where we keep on printing, more money supply, means it value becomes diluted. Thus in reality for the same amount of gold, essentially we need more and more of the paper currency as time goes back to purchase that very same amount of gold.

What can community members do to contribute to Bitcoin's growth? For me, most important is to continue to believe in what bitcoin holds for our future. that means everything for an ordinary person.

Try to look on the positive side. Yeah, price is getting lower but that's the chance for us to buy cheap. reddit abandoning the plan, but we still have changetip with facebook. So no matter what, it's not the end of everything. The emergence of first regulated exchange should be enough to convince us, this is indeed a positive move ahead.

I still dont understand this how can we make it go back up?
As long as there is not enough fresh fund to create buying support to clear up the bitcoin stock in the market, price will continue to fall. However, it doesn't mean that price will continue dropping. At one stage where the price is seen too low compared against what bitcoin future holds, it's natural that people will start buying and then push up the price.

If it ever dips below $100, that won't be long because at that price, bitcoin is just too cheap to pass on the chance to grab it. And seeing how things have changed so fast in such a short period of time, going back to $1000 is not something impossible. I would like to keep it realistic so $1000 seems an ideal level to aim for.

I think that is exactly what is good about it. If it takes so long, it will get spread out a lot. The seigniorage will be everywhere and nowhere.
Bitcoin is not going to become a main currency (if ever) before several decades in any case, so just as well take that time to distribute it. Bitcoin is a century-long project. As fiat money has been.
Man, it's a cult for some grandeur-dilousional lunatics and can't hold water. It's already hopelessly antiquated. All i hear from the Bitcoin hardcore supporters is contradictions by now. It was delusional madness before (still is) and now it has become contradictions. So i think it's safe to say this crowd has lost its credibility together with the coin they support. People want to make payments and store value now, not next century. Bitcoin is a joke. your view: Bitcoin will go down to double digits and people will still be interested. It is one of the most volatile things on earth and can't hold value but somehow in a century it magically is still the leading crypto my view: next century we will have 5 to 20 wildly advanced cryptocurrencies which get more and more staying power as they progress through the technical evolutionary stages and which will directly cater to the needs of their userbase. So the future is in altcoin developement and there will be a new golddigger era in the upcoming years as old bitcoin is dethroned and real competition between technologically advanced coins for userbase sets in. Cryptocurrency startup will become a billion dollar industry. In my scenario Bitcoin will be remembered as the first one but sadly had too many problems. A lot of altcoins will go mainstream (not bitcoin) and they will see a progression/evolution like that of musical genres last century (first came blues, jazz, then rock n' roll which advanced into a huge array of rockmusic. Later came RAP, POP and Techno and so on) ... so bitcoin is more like the classical music and maybe it will still be played next century amongst some nostalgic people but most people will prefer Rock or Pop. which view do you think is more realistic? Bitcoin has really become an obstacle to true technological advancement. And all the cult following with their contradictions and pipedream-hype-talk is an insult to the intelligent man. In altcoin? No way. If for any reason bitcoin does fail, I don't think any of the alts are worthy enough to take the place of bitcoin. Even then my belief still holds true that one day bitcoin will be the currency that replaces fiat.

Hey guys I feel like I jump on the bitcoin titanic while the ship is going down. Now I'm not sure if I should jump off to save myself or sit back and enjoy the ride hopefully a big paid out at the end of the road. Why the value of bitcoin is going down. When will it be back up. What should I do please.
When the price is down, it's a good time or would I say good opportunity to get involved into bitcoin. Ask yourself during when the price was like 800 - 900 range, how many people could actually afford to get into bitcoin? With current price, 250 bucks will be enough to get you a whole coin.

Seriously I don't know whether having wall street into the game means good or bad. While bitcoin seriously need fresh funds to lift the price up and making people took notice of it, on the other note, when you have the big boys in, basically it will make the price become even more volatile.

I try not to be that rigid. In fact, it's better to use both terms interchangeably. It's time to claim the blockchain technology as belonging to bitcoin. Whereas, personally I think bitcoin name is more suitable when it comes to branding it as internet digital currency.

I think he's more like hinting the inadequacies observed in bitcoin. He believes bitcoin or specifically the blockchain is the future of payment currency but something needs to be done to improve the system for it to become a world wide adoption.

Is it too late if you buy in right now? Even for me, I've also missed the boat but I still consider the opportunity wide open at the moment. It all depends on how you look at it. Feeling regret and depressed won't lead to anything.

I think the figure didn't take into account mt gox collapse. Probably just one to one cheating. In the first place, did we ever refer to the money that lost in mt. gox as scam in the first place?

It's possible but if it does get to that level, I'm sure the buying frenzy will get the price going back up quickly.. And I'm sure there are a lot of buyers waiting at that level doing the same.

Because there are buy orders placed which makes it look like it is happening in stages. It needs huge amount of funds to drive the price down fast.

And who says bitcoin is not the solution to all these problems.

But wait....if he successfully gets a refund, this will mean he'll be getting new coins which are not from the hack. Something is really fishy here.

I think they did a good job to remain as a credible exchanger and we shouldn't put the blame on them just because someone else completely ignores the message and made silly mistakes.

Is this an isolated case happening to only to a certain number of people or it effects all users who made a deposit. I don't think there is any reason to doubt their service because they have been in the business for so long and their reputation means everything to them.
