1641  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Adsense Banning Faucets Again on: May 21, 2016, 09:21:08 AM
FYI, Bitcoin Zebra is the latest faucet to get banned, and the site is now for sale on flippa. https://flippa.com/6424241-bitcoinzebra-com

Someone was wondering why freebitco.in and dogeco.in did not got banned, news for them, adsense finally banned them, legendary faucets bites the dust
I can see ads on them...

The ads are from a third-party vendor. The analytics ID and account that are used for freebitco.in are also shared by the following sites, which the current admin has no affiliation with.

1642  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Bitcoin Zebra screwed up? on: May 21, 2016, 09:17:28 AM
Yes, it is back to normal and we can claim again. Although the prize is still half of how it used to be.
I was wondering if the previous owner (the one before its for sale) is the same with the owner of moon-series faucet? Because they both referencing each other faucets and also the mellowads, but somehow those moon-series are not affected with the recent issue

This is correct. Bitcoin Zebra was started by the same admin of Moon Bitcoin, Moon Litecoin, Moon Dogecoin, and he currently runs Mellow Ads. The current owner is a new owner who, as someone mentioned above, is selling the site.

This website is for sale. See: https://flippa.com/6424241-bitcoinzebra-com

Reason: (copy+paste from flippa)
The biggest proportion (around 80%) of income is from Google AdSense. As of May 2016 my AdSense account was disabled due to policy violations of low content quality. This can be easily fixed with the right owner. I do not have time to make the necessary changes.
Because of this I am unable to maintain the high claim amounts that are required to maintain a succesful, profitable faucet. A new owner would not have these issues and could maximize the advertising income with AdSense or any other ad networks.

Soooo what happens in 2h 50m when nobody else makes a deposit and the countdown timer runs down? Roll Eyes

Potential users: don't risk your BTC! Avoid doublers like the plague if you don't want to risk losing your coins. Be smart and think about how these things works. In 3 days, there hasn't been another deposit on this site, which is relied upon to payout your "investment".

Sounds like these are carded to me...

And be careful, just because he doesn't have red trust doesn't mean that he doesn't have negative trust.

1645  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Satoshi Now - UP TO 18000 satoshi per hour - 25% referral - SSL on: May 21, 2016, 09:02:34 AM
This site lost it's AdSense account; they were banned. This site is also for sale. I think it's safe to assume that it will no longer pay its users. Please stop wasting your time with this site.

You would say that if it scams you. Until now it doesn't scam

I've been paid by this site on multiple occasions. I'm just trying to help protect the users from wasting their precious time until an update is released by the admin, which I doubt will happen because he is actively selling the site.

Click here to view the sale thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1477749.0

You really think he's going to continue paying? I've got a pending withdrawal now for 5 days and counting.

Like I said, I think it's safe to say that this site will no longer pay the users. Besides, even if and when the site sells, do you think the new owner is just going to miraculously pay the debt? Come on, use your brain to apply some logic to this situation. I've been collecting from faucets long enough to know that whenever a site is offered for sale, the owner selling it has no intention of paying the debt to its users. Why else would an owner sell a site if it's not producing profit anymore? Logic.
1646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [RaiBlocks] RaiBlocks trading thread on: May 21, 2016, 08:57:57 AM
Judging by the people still offering to sell, I don't think they understand what a rollback is. It's been mentioned over and over again. At this point, I think it's safe to say that if users still ignore the advice, or don't take the time to learn what a rollback is, it's on the buyer if they get screwed and their coins get rolled back after the update.

I don't mind forcibly shaking out buyers who don't take the time to learn the risks of making trades p2p directly without understanding those risks.

1647  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [btc] HIGHBTC.COM- 1000-5000 SATOSHI EVERY 15 MINUTES || 50% REFERALL COMISSION on: May 21, 2016, 08:49:55 AM
Tomorrow i will move highbtc on other domain , Fixing the bug with referall , increasing back the claim ammounts and decreasing threshold to 500.000 and removing popups.
I will move on a domain with add sense.

What's the point of changing domains? Are you going to clear everyone's balance on this domain? Ads need to be set up before allowing users to claim. So your new domain is just going to be a repeat of this one unless you plan to make initial payouts from your pocket (which you can do with your current domain so no need for a new domain)

either way you are no longer a trustworthy faucet owner
No , i will not clear everyone's balance.
The domain is accepted on add sense.

Google AdSense is going to review your domain before your first payout, which will happen in at least a month and a half. You won't get a single payment from them before then. And chances are that because you lack the type of content that they are looking for, your adsense account will get suspended due to that. Are you going to pay your users before you get your first payment from Google?

And please update us here when you remove the popups; they're annoying as FUCK. I got 7 popups before I could make a single claim to the faucet. SEVEN. This is a HORRIBLE user experience, and I'm sure that your numbers have dropped. Check your site analytics and traffic numbers... I'm sure you'll see that I'm right. You know why? Because everyone hates popups.
1648  Economy / Services / Re: YoBit.Net - Signature Campaign - Realtime Payouts (daily) on: May 21, 2016, 08:06:46 AM
I've left this signature for some time. I thought I'll join it again. but today I noticed my account is banned from this signature campaign by Bctalk moderator.
I think this is not fair. if someone remove signature or left signature you should remove him from signature campaign and stop his payment. but doing ban for permanently isn't fair.
Now I can't join this campaign again, and I really wanted to come back here.. The ban system should be only for spammers. not for everyone who remove signature.

Sorry, dude, but if I were a mod of this campaign, the sig campaign hoppers is what I would despise the most. So now you're requiring me to review your account (over and over again) just because you decide to leave the campaign for another campaign, and expect to come back? Call me an asshole if you like, but I ain't got time for that. That would mean that so many users would jump over to the newest higher-paying temporary sig campaign on a weekly or monthly basis whenever a new one pops up, and then come back. Now this involves a human intervention to separate the users that have left the campaign, or users who were banned... That database or spreadsheet would just be too big for me, regardless of how much I got paid.

Sorry dude, but I currently endorse the methods and ways that this campaign is run. Never should have left in the first place, bud. Smiley

1651  Economy / Services / Re: YoBit.Net - Signature Campaign - Realtime Payouts (daily) on: May 20, 2016, 11:29:07 PM
why again there button is stop working which will let us send fund to our account ..any way to know it why

It's like this for weeks now, it stops on friday and will work again in 2-3 days do not worry you will get your money Wink

hope for this will work soon and no money will be lost

You posted the exact same thing on May 1st did you not get good enough answers then.

then why is why this happening ever some days that not clear ..is this problem with the bot for signature or the blocking for some time due to server maintenance

No one knows why it happens, but speculation is that it's to load up the hot wallet that pays all the sig campaign members.

Jesus, and now there are no peers to connect to. There are currently 0 active connections to the network.

I deleted the peers.dat file again... And nothing.

What's going on, guys?

I never said OP is a scammer just that his faucet is starting to look scammy. Why come here promoting your faucet with 0 intention of paying until you get your pending ads approved? Doing that will waste users time if the ads are not approved. That's like marketing a product you do not have and when people have paid, you tell them it will be manufactured and shipped next year.

But apparently pointing this out makes me a douche / immature kid throwing a tantrum  Roll Eyes

Apologies, dude, I actually misread the quotes and got the posts confused. It was apparently the admin that called you a retard, and not the other way around; I thought you were the one calling the admin names, but after re-reading the posts... Yeah, this admin has no professionalism.

And...

WHAT THE FUCK?!

Now the site has popups? Not just regular popups, but popups with malware that take over and full screen the page?

Yeah, fuck this. I'm out.

I was a big proponent of this faucet, and actually wanted to believe that the admin was on the right track, as he was responsive in listening to the input I would tell him via here and his chat feature. But that just takes the cake. The raise in withdrawal limit made sense, as it's understandable. The drop in claim amounts even made sense, as it helps your site to become more sustainable. But I've referred plenty of people to this site, and I'm very careful as not to promote sites that have popups, ESPECIALLY with malware on those popups.

Not only that, there are many times where I couldn't claim because of the countdown bug where if ANY of my referrals have claimed in the last 15 minutes, I couldn't do so. Bug is still not fixed.

Also, my account was reset to 0 before because of admin's bugs and mistakes. And then when I had over 300,000 satoshi balance, it was reset to 100,000 balance because of another update or bug fix or whatever.

Admin, I know you're doing everything you can to ensure that your site makes money so you can pay out your users, but you're going about it the wrong way. And now I'm inclined to feel like you're going to end up not paying the users once they continue making withdrawals. Once or twice? Probably. But continually? Nope. I have no faith that you have the knowledge or the ability to run a sustainable faucet.

But the popups thing? Yeah, that's the straw that broke the camel's back. Any admin that adds popups to their faucet is pretty much saying "FUCK YOU USERS HAHAHAHA!".

So, admin, FUCK YOU right back.

My qt wallet is stuck on block 78816 and it has been overnight. What can I do to correct this? I've deleted the peers.dat, and then it connected fine, but now I can't get past block 78816.

1657  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [btc] HIGHBTC.COM- 1000-5000 SATOSHI EVERY 15 MINUTES || 50% REFERALL COMISSION on: May 20, 2016, 12:27:46 PM
But other faucets how are approved? Does they have content?

Probably used a different website for approval, probably got lucky, who knows? What will you do if you do not get accepted? Raise the withdrawal threshold again?

Hey man, no need to be a douche about this. If you don't like it, don't claim on the faucet. Here you are, talking all this shit, and making yourself look like an immature kid throwing a tantrum. How about you meet the threshold first, and then if admin doesn't pay, continue to talk shit then. Otherwise, from a 3rd-party perspective, you just look like an asshole, man. Not cool.

No one is forcing you to claim from this faucet, so no need to keep harping on him. Just let it go, cool? Thanks, bud.
you really need to shut your mouth you a55 5meller
we have all the rights to insult scammers when they scam and before they scam because we work hard daily and in the end they get all the profits and we get nothing.

First of all, I wasn't even talking to you. Secondly, the admin is here everyday fixing his faucet and making improvements. If you prefer, why don't you go to the SatoshiNow or Ace of Coins thread, or any other thread where the admin has disappeared. And lastly, how do you know that this admin is a scammer? Have you reached your threshold? Have you requested a cashout and not been paid?

You need to look up the definition of the word "scammer", because obviously, you have no idea what it means. Besides, nobody is forcing you to visit the site and spend your time claiming from it. If you're so sure that it's not going to pay you, why are you wasting your time with it, and then wasting even more time posting here?

You don't need people like us to make you look like a fool. You do it to yourself. And calling people names? "Ass smeller"? Great way to act like a child, dude. Roll Eyes

My Qt has 0 active connections to the network. I'm on a Mac running OSX Yosemite 10.10.5.

What should I do to enable the nodes again? Are there new nodes that I need to add?

Edit: Oh, well, that was easy. I just followed the directions in the OP and deleted my peers.dat file. But now it seems to be stuck on Block 78816. Anyone know how to fix this?
