1641  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rigged Game on: April 10, 2023, 09:16:20 AM
Mostly we think of this when we are on a losing streak or when others accuse casinos of having losing streaks, but it is still possible. Detecting it is difficult. I haven't really heard that the casino rigged some games that were very popular, or I haven't heard it, but the only thing we can do is gather other users to see if they experienced the same thing as you and try to imitate it again if you've seen that the game is rigged. It is really difficult to accuse if there is no proof, so I could say that we have nothing to do with it if we don't have proof you should stay away from that casino and find another legit or popular casino.
1642  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you consider yourself as a risk taker if you buy bitcoin? on: April 10, 2023, 07:46:06 AM
I thought this would be an easy question to answer because things have risk, like even buying stuff that you need has risk, or like cause and effect, but when I say things like bitcoin or other things in business or any investment, I could say that it is another risk and a bigger one. I think if we say risk taker, there are two meanings: one is a small risk that needs to be decided on a daily basis, and the other is a big risk that makes us wealthy, earns us money, or like giving us a big impact in our lives. So if we say in bitcoin, I would say yes, we can be called risk takers.
1643  Economy / Economics / Re: Quit borrowing on: April 10, 2023, 06:52:08 AM
You are correct at some point, because we get into trouble when we spend more than we earn and think we can pay it off in the next pay, which means the cycle continues because you will be short that time. Though there are really others like poor people who borrow money, it's because their source of income is not permanent, like when they didn't earn anything and had nothing to eat, so they needed to borrow money to buy food. But again, if you earn money the next day, for sure it is not enough because you need to pay back your borrowed money.
1644  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Giving out to promote Bitcoin on: April 10, 2023, 04:56:44 AM
For sure, a lot of users here will be asking for proof, but before that, I would say that I hope there are a lot of people willing to do this just to give information to others, like giving knowledge to other people, as it is very useful for them, and for sure, one of them will be successful because of bitcoin. But again, I've just got a question: where did you find them? I mean, what group is in WhatsApp? Also, do you have proof by way of a photo of the transaction or any other kind of proof that you can show because people here want to see proofs?
1645  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving only 1 year away on: April 10, 2023, 03:42:04 AM
There are still a year that i will save money to buy more bitcoin. For sure a lot of us now got a lesson in the pas halving that they havent own a bitcoin and haven't ride the ATH of bitcoin. But i do have a question about the miner right now is they are still profitable? Like they can still pay their bills ? I know those bitcoin mining farm can still generate profit after having but those who has thier mining machine in house ? Will they be quitting?
1646  Economy / Economics / Re: Try to save money while you still can, will you ? on: April 10, 2023, 02:46:27 AM
Saving out of ones earn may not be easy in some countries. Imagine someone earning #25,000 in Nigeria and he's with 3 children. How do you think savings will be easy in such country.
The same goes in my country, depending on where we live and how much minimum wage and the cost of living. There are constraints if it's about our budgets and that can't be controlled unless we find ways to increase our active and passive income. But with all of this stuff and situations, we're learning from everyone's opinion and greatly with experiences.
We don't want to live in the future that we've got nothing and we can't enjoy our mature days and that's why as much as we can even if it's challenging, saving and investing should be in our lists.

Yeah, how we act now will reflects to our future, if we can save and invest we can make good financial stability, I mean a potential financial stability that can help us to have a better life, in things like this it's important how focus we are in making things to happen, as long as you the will and the courage to take all the risk we will be able to find a good success and harvest the fruit of our patience when we start saving our money and try it to invest with any form of investment.

It is absolutely true for anyone to focus on their financial goal and disregard all distractions. One thing I could not understand most people's behavior is that they are very good at explaining all pros and cons of many issues but never achieved anything to feel the pros and cons in real life. Speaking of financial goals, we don't have to set a big goal as achieving million dollars but only to save dozens of bucks every week or month. Truth is, a lot of us spend too much money on unnecessary things like extra clothes, a few more beers at a bar. If we can be more self-disciplined and don't get distracted by unnecessary doings, goals will be achieved more easily.

Setting goals is easy to do you can imagine or think of it in just one night but implementing or having it to achieve takes time its because youll going through a lot of things. We should not only think the goals , think also how will you implement it like how would you achieve and what are the process so that you can make it. That is really the best to plan out the things to do so that we are sure that we can achieve it
1647  Economy / Economics / Re: Does a side job/business improve your finanical stability ? on: April 10, 2023, 12:59:42 AM
We can use a lot of spare time to earn extra income, I also do at least 3 side jobs and the results are quite good, apart from working in the office I also grow short-lived vegetables or fruits such as watermelons, melons, various vegetables, and also raise chickens even in small quantities.
In our society people spend so much time in gossip and backbiting - if they would spend time in real work it would be beneficial for them and for the society.
Smart people really use their time wisely and spend it to make some money.

Time is gold even on those rich people even choosing a clothes they are not wasting time on it like they buy the same clothes so that they dont waste time . Our country also mostly every 3pm for sure a lot of people now going outside and having group discussion and they will take a lot of time sometimes they forgot to cook dinner because of just gossiping other neighbors
1648  Economy / Economics / Re: Money hardly come this days! Why? on: April 08, 2023, 12:48:56 PM
Money will never come to us, but we have to make money, many sources of income let alone the presence of the internet that can open up opportunities for us to get money in a simple way even do not need capital, as long as we want to try then all the difficulties will be completed, so don't Too much blame the situation.

Just work hard and work smart. The best advice that was given to me before was to continue what you are doing or looking for; it will arrive or get to you immediately, like finding a source of income. As long as you continue to search for it, you will really find it later on rather than quitting and not finding it, which means you will really not get it. No matter how long, just continue. Let's not wait for the government to take action; let's do it on our own and find another source of income so that we can fulfill our needs.
1649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: April 08, 2023, 11:20:18 AM
It`s been said often enough, just to make sure, I will repeat it again - referral programs aren`t the same as affiliate programs, even though many people mix it up. Wink Even operators sometimes fail to realize that there is a difference. Wink

Anyway, are you guys aware of the fact there even are gambling affiliates that are listed on stock exchanges? Smiley Money can be made...  Wink
but most casino sites mix it up, after all, the work is the same, namely promoting referral links, it's just that the difference is in bonuses, usually affiliate links have bigger bonuses while referral links get less bonuses, but the way both of them work is the same, usually on sites the exchange doesn't mix it up only some casinos do mix it up, same or not that's for sure how it works the same  Wink
If you dont know on whats the difference about referral and affiliate. Here's some short read.
https://supermetrics.com/blog/referral-program-vs-affiliate-program

Overall it would really be just the same because not all context been state on the link given above where actually that precise yet we know that referrals arent those someone
who are close to you and also could be other person or random fellas which signed under you which do falls into the category of affiliate marketing but in
general or overall sense, it is really just the same.
But usually in a lot of casinos almost mix up affiliate and referral so that's what confuses many people so they don't know which affiliate program and referral program, to be honest I was never interested in any program from the casino because I was worried it would be a problem for my account, so I didn't would waste my time promoting my referral link, BTW thanks for the reading link  Wink

I thought they are the same i mean it is just called affiliate to other countries as well as referral but same meaning now i understand it but still i am not interested on it or if ever someone talks to me to sign up on a casino i would prefer sending my referral link but if no one I wouldn't be talking about to others to just used my referral. Anyways thanks for clarifying it
1650  Economy / Economics / Re: How Long in Years Should I Wait Before I Close Down an Unprofitable Business on: April 08, 2023, 09:58:50 AM
In business, of course we have to have accurate calculations, when all the maximum effort has been made and the business is still losing money, it's time for us to make changes, for example changing the market or business location, or replacing it with another product or service, and I think a year's loss is a measure for business instead of continuing to lose money.

If you cant pay the rent and employees salary then that is the time you should close down the business. Sometimes thinking that if we keep continuing the business even if you are losing thinking that it be recognised and youll earn eventually but you'll just making things worse. It is really best if you have financial advisor on that so that you can calculate when is the best time to close it down and still able to repay those employees, rent and etc
1651  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Signals vs Own Analysis on: April 08, 2023, 07:30:12 AM
1. No one can generate signals with a 100% accuracy.
2. When the winning percentage is 80%-90%, we have to make use of all the signals to get that percentage.

If a person or trading signal group claims to have 100% accuracy, they are most likely a scam; they say this to entice newbie traders who only want to trade using signals. Also, how do you calculate the winning percentage when it's only 80%? Is it your own analysis or the signal? because most of the signals they are sending are just telling people to buy or sell and then posting their shitcharts, which those in the group couldn't understand.
1652  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: one mistake that crypto beginners should be aware of ? on: April 08, 2023, 06:32:13 AM
If you are trading in the market and you are using big fund when we can't even control small funds then that is a big mistake thah needs to be prevented because if when enter the market with a big fund and price goes against us then we might end up losing in a manner we would never want to experience. Trading is hard to achieve but some persons still does not understand the effort pro traders are going through to make sure that theykeep making profits from the market. We need to make sure that we acquired the necessary skills so that we can be able to beat the market.

Regardless if the trading fund is small or not, it's our own money therefore a serious approach should always take place.

Once we decide to put money on something, we have to make sure that all things and preparations are in 100%.

It's ok to make mistakes along the way but as long as we learned from it, that what matters.

Others are too confident, like they already have money, and they also thought they could learn trading overnight. That is why they mostly take trades because they think they are confident. If you are serious about your plans, such as trading, and not just for profit, you should always be prepared if you do not want bad things to happen to your money. Others, on the other hand, believe that it is simply a simple buy low, sell high.
1653  Economy / Economics / Re: Is taking a loan/debt addicted ? on: April 08, 2023, 05:30:14 AM
Well, I have to clarify that personally I have never had any loan or debt in my life so this thread has nothing to do with my experience but intends to find out how people in loan/debt deal with the problem. Let's say you take loans from a bank and sometimes for whatever reason, you can not pay the debt on time, then you borrow money from other channels. Sure this works for a certain period but later bad things may happen, you have to postpone the payment and struggle with finances again. Isn't this a vicious circle ? How would you deal with the problem ? I am all ears.

Well, the bank have some responsibilities too. If they gave you a loan that you were never supposed to get based on your income, then there are ways were you don't have to pay. For farmers in Norway you have to take loans if you want to upgrade your farm, the loan will be so expensive so they are not able to pay it back with their income because the prices of their goods are decided by some big players in the industry. And the farm is worth less then what they have in loan so that is also not a good option, but usually many farmers have secondary jobs. That is also a solution, work more, work harder, freeze in the winter (don't use money on heat), go in the forest and pick berries and mushrooms, fish in the ocean etc.  Angry

But the it is really like you said, it is a vicious circle the banks put us through with all the loans and to pay with credit. Vicious people and the worst pyramide scheme ever, Bernard Madoff is nothing compared to these guys.

Also here in our country, most of the farmers that I've known have their farm land in a bank because they took a loan to just plant crops as they don't receive any help from the government, so they took a loan and are having a hard time paying it back. What's saddest is that if they hit with a storm, they are having a hard time getting up, which is why others lost their land, and they tend to work as construction workers as they don't have land to plant on anymore.
1654  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the government can really make a way to end poverty or it depends on us? on: April 08, 2023, 04:32:11 AM
When it comes to salary, you can't really feel that the government is taking action on it, or if it has, it is just small because raising a salary is very costly, even if it is just a few cents, and they don't have a budget, and mostly government prioritizes physical projects like roads and ETC. But if the government really wants to raise the salary, they can, but mostly they will sacrifice other things. Even the best president that we've got in the country was able to increase some salary, but still we are struggling. It is better to rely on yourself than mocking the government, as it is still useless.
1655  Economy / Gambling / Re: Enough to consider a casino scam? on: April 08, 2023, 03:30:12 AM
What will you do if you don't know that a online casino will ask you for KYC after winning over 8,000$ on the platform? And you now manage to process with the verification and they failed to pass you? Can you consider such a casino a scam?

First of all, you should do your own troubleshooting, like checking why you haven't passed the KYC—is it because of the blurred ID or your selfie? Wrong information and so on, contact support to find out why you failed so you can try again. Also, before considering them a scam, make sure you haven't broken a TOS, because that is likely your proof when you accuse them. Mostly, this is the move of a casino that is a scam; they will ban your account or not pass your KYC. If you ever support them and still are getting failed in KYC, it is time to raise scam accusations on them.
1656  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it wise to spend your Bitcoin on: April 08, 2023, 02:40:12 AM
We own bitcoin with our own purpose, others bought it just to spend it on something like transacting and want to experience buying things with bitcoin, and others owning it as an investment just want to hold it for a year to earn profit, which is where you belong OP. Your view is that it is better to hold it than spend it, but there are still others who want to spend it as they don't want it as an investment.
1657  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No late comer in bitcoin Investment. on: April 08, 2023, 01:37:22 AM
It is never to late to invest but the problem is that people are just buying it when the price are high and in green days but when the price drops people got scared and not buying it which means they dont have enough knowledge on Bitcoin. Also people got late because they keep waiting on dip that they cant predict also
1658  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How not having money helped my Bitcoin journey on: April 07, 2023, 04:01:24 PM
We had the same experience way back in 2016 I know Bitcoin already which that is the time of Ponzi schemes and I got scammed also, I don't have work at that time and I am a fresh graduate I am finding for a job online or any side hustles which I discover bitcoin though I don't have money to invest on it which it makes me to the point try to earn bitcoin without any investment and I've finding task like making logo which paid in bitcoin and other services online which I earn that time and uses it for investing bitcoin but I always sell it as I tend to panic sell
1659  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Experience of failure and success can help us control the emotions. on: April 07, 2023, 01:47:21 PM
Failure and success remind me of the Chinese yin yang concept. The concept of yin yang is used to explain the interdependence and complementarity of opposing forces in nature and the universe, and to illustrate the importance of balance and harmony in achieving overall well-being. In trading like the op said it helps to create harmony of our emotions and to have a clear head when trading.
Nothing can go as smoothly as expected, that means that each of us must experience ups and downs. Even a businessman will not be as successful as he seems without ever failing or at least losing money financially, that also applies to traders and investors because they both involve money. The successful are those who keep trying after failing, those who get up after falling until they finally find balance.

That is why mistakes or losses are the best teachers in the world; you will learn valuable lessons from them, and now is the time if you can still stand up and recover from those things. That is why we should treat it more as an opportunity than a failure, because we can gain something if we create an opportunity on it rather than being sad and not reflecting on it.
1660  Economy / Economics / Re: Planning avoids unnecessary expenses on: April 07, 2023, 11:43:41 AM
Is good to plan, don't live your life on a plata of Gold. The first time I had bulk money was during my higher institution days, as a student we know and hear too many things but only few chose to do something, opportunity of MMM, crypto currency and Achievers forum sorry mentioning them here came to me in school and I grasps it and as God may have it, I make a lot of money but the first thing that came to my mind was to buy car, I bought two cars, place one as a taxi and one private use as school big boy but non of this happen to play out well.

The Taxi cab had an accident and piece in bits and I sold it out auction price, same thing happen to the one I was using in school and it was a tragedy scenes, it was sold as Scrabs. I used the remaining money to live extravagant lifestyles, going out with friends, carrying girls to where we can't ordinarily afford bills, buying wears we don't need, gadgets and accessories we don't match our income or status but all this turn out against me. I lost almost everything, for two years after my school I could afford a dime, no job, no source income, I have nothing in my bitcoin wallets, life balls back to zero level.

Today I can boastfully said this not to impress you or give you a plan but is good to plan your life, know what you want per time, avoid impulse buying, avoid competition, avoid extravagant lifestyle, have a routine, draw your scale of preference, learn forgone alternative principles. Life on earth is short if you can't get it right, and life is hell if you're not living it right.
You are right in many ways because We should not spend on unnecessary things because they are just waste of money.
I have seen that many people who are average in income, try to spend money in watches, Brand cloths and shoes. And that's why they are always in trouble.
I am balanced in my life. I have always savings in my account that will be very helpful in dark times.

Social media is also a big part of this because people are attracted to what they've seen in the social media, which is why they want to buy those branded things even if they will do it on installment or take a loan. They can't control themselves for sure, like they really need to get their wants no matter what they do, and we people who don't want those very expensive brands will stick to only what we can afford. Though that is life for sure, they will learn later on about the things they've done.
