1661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: December 08, 2021, 04:52:02 PM
Litecoin? To keep or not to keep?
Keep it.

Quote
Technology is already out-dated, but if Bitcoin is considered the "gold," then this technology would be the "silver." Litecoin is a "safe" crypto that mainstream investors can FOMO into once Bitcoin takes off in value. We aren't done yet. We are expecting big developments soon as well.
In each bull market, we see new technologies, new trends but after all how many of them can survive in bear market. How many of them can be developed in more than 4 years?

Litecoin is in crypto since 2011 and it has not died. It is much stronger than many altcoins. Please look at Dogecoin and see a strength from oldest altcoins.

Quote
Have all of these convinced you to stick with Litecoin? How do you feel about LTC?
It will retest all time high and if it can not break it, you can wait for next halving of Litecoin, in 2023, 2 more years. It is not so far and you can wait. Do you know how Litecoin rose before its halving in 2019?
1662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: EOS Price Prediction – How Much Will EOS Be Worth in 2021? on: November 30, 2021, 06:04:22 PM
Based on my observations, EOS doesn't come up in a lot of big names portfolios or even on crypto twitter. It looks like one of those forgotten cryptos from 2017. There are far better alternatives in the market at the moment like NEAR protocol and probably solana plus there's been 2-3 threads in the past 3 years and EOS has fit into any of these threads so far so good. Ideally, people would wants go for those in-demand projects.
EOS has internal problems and if I am an outsider investor and are aware of such internal issues, I won't take risk to invest in EOS. I won't bet all my capital in EOS and on the market, I can find many other projects which have better internal cooperation and better roadmap. None project can move far if internal relationship is broken.

Solana and NEAR rose too much and I think there are a few young projects are on fire like them. Polkadot, Avalanche are great too but they will have to survive through the next bear market. If they survive and keep up their developments from technical to financial and marketing sides, they deserve to have solid positions in crypto.
1663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Get harassed in BSC Chain Transaction on: November 30, 2021, 05:52:50 PM
BSC is undergoing an upgrade today, that's part of the reason why it's so god damn slow. But overall, fees and congestion have been increasing on the chain for months now, since it has seen rampant adoption among traders and projects.
The congestion, lag and more expensive transaction fee on BSC come from many things, and not only from its upgrade. The chain is used more by many projects and people from investors, traders to gamers so it is becoming more crowded. As consequence of such growth, fee becomes more expensive and CZ team so far can not solve it.

Quote
But it's still a far better situation than Ethereum. Ethereum still suffers from $30+ transactions ($100+ on some protocols) and has a more than 10 minute confirmation time for most medium fee txs.
It's better than ERC-20 chain but is far from how good it was months ago. Will CZ team be able to bring very cheap transaction fee on BSC back? If he can do it, BNB might rock to $1000 or $1500

Quote
If you really want fast, check out Avalanche, Terra, or Solana, they're not yet experiencing the same slowdown BSC is being hit with.
They are young chains and don't have too big user communities like ERC-20 or BSC chains. When their chains and communities grow more, we might see same congestion and expensive fee like what happened with BSC and ERC-20.
1664  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jack Dorsey far less decentralized exchange (tbDEX) on: November 30, 2021, 04:55:35 PM
Interesting insight... I wonder if this matter is what drove Jack Dorsey to resign from his CEO position???

For sure this is a matter that requires the minds of many to discuss and then agree...and given the subject of privacy it may well be that some people including Jack didn't sit right by those

Only moments ago, he became the former CEO of twitter. Source here: https://twitter.com/jack/status/1465347002426867720
Possibly. Jack can not build up a decentralized exchange or be part of core team and still want to keep centralized power in Twitter. People will look at his position in Twitter and are doubtful of his statement about new projects he is involving with.

This decision to departure from CEO position is smart and again shows that he has great minds and how he successfully built up a great Twitter. Jack does not restrict himself to Twitter only and he invested in other companies too. He is very ambitious and want to explorer new things technically.
1665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH rising to all time highs due to this NFT tweeted from Budweiser on: November 30, 2021, 04:35:51 PM
NFT is thing to be used more in crypto and normal communities so this tweet from Budweiser is only part of a hot trend.

Lately, CEO of Twitter, Jack Dorsey announced that he will leave the CEO position soon, after a transitional time. I agree with Jack because it shows that he believes in decentralization so it is a good step to let the community knows that he does not only say but also actually does it.

Back to NFT, many things in real life can be integrated with NFT technology and becomes something more valuable.
1666  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When is the Bitcoin symbol going to be added to the keyboard? on: November 29, 2021, 03:38:50 PM
Why would anyone add Bitcoin symbol to keyboard if Bitcoin is not widely used? The dollar symbol is there because nearly every person in the world that uses computers also deals with dollars on some basis. Bitcoin doesn't have even a 0.0001% of dollar's adoption. The only way I see it happening is if someone makes a keyboard specifically for Bitcoin fans.
First we need to see it on virtual keyboards. It sounds funny but I am serious with it guys. Because we must start from something which has less pressure from government and legal issues.

Virtual keyboard is something like that. Free from legal issues and shows that we have increasing adoption. I think we will see it after next more 3 to 6 halvings. We will see Bitcoin becomes something really legendary in our society. A kind of most attractively safe-haven assets and people will mention about it more commonly. The adoption now is very small and we need to have much bigger one.
1667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: November 29, 2021, 02:30:37 PM
In the current situation, gold is still a powerful safe-haven asset. News about the new coronavirus strain force investors to shift from risky assets to gold and the US dollar. In the future, any fears about economic problems, the discovery of new virus strains will force money to flow into gold and other safe-haven assets. It is also worth considering the growth of inflation, which accelerates the prices of goods.
Probably gold is the only commodity that hasn't grown in the last year. Everything grew: oil, timber, metals, etc. But gold, which is traditionally a hedge against inflation, barely rose.
Let me share a good article about inflation that affects purchasing power of the US dollar

The purchasing power of the US dollar over time. In the latest dip of Bitcoin, we saw some fud on social media that Bitcoin is risk and reason for fiat currency system.

Governments printed 40% supply of fiat currencies since the pandemic and they blamed the hyper inflation they created on Bitcoin. It is not true. If you have mind, you can say it from your own opinion and it is correct.
1668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum and additional gas fees on: November 28, 2021, 11:28:13 AM
It is not profitable to trade tokens in the Ethereum ecosystem, because the cost of an exchange on decentralized exchanges is from $ 50 to $ 100 or more.
If you change for amounts of $ 5,000 or more, then for you this is a small fee for decentralization.
It is not easy to handle too expensive fee like this. Even if I have a good capital and make a transaction at $5,000, $50 or $100 as transaction fee is still bad cost.

This expensive fee put projects have to build up bridges between ERC20 and other chains that can provide lower transaction fees for users. ERC20 is still a big chain and I hope upgrades in future can help them to scale up their network as well as reduce transaction fee successfully.

In other cases, I advise you to study
Optimism, Arbitrum and Polygon
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5357891.msg57842615#msg57842615
I know about Polygon but did not know about Optimism or Arbitrum. Thank you for this info and I am sure will do my research on these projects.
1669  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When is the Bitcoin symbol going to be added to the keyboard? on: November 28, 2021, 10:39:16 AM
It is not hard to build it. We have Bitcoin symbol on our forum BTC, on Twitter and I believe we will see its apperance on more platforms.

Keyboards, it will when Bitcoin becomes legal tender globally. For now, companies have to follow regulations and if Bitcoin is not legal tender, it is not smart to build up keyboard with Bitcoin symbol. It will be struggled by laws and companies don't want to produce such products that they can not sell massively.
1670  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto's Wealth on: November 27, 2021, 04:00:42 PM
satoshi probably mined more Bitcoin and do it anonymously so that we can not know about that amount. If he did so, he does not need to use the amount we all assume that belongs to him for his wealth-being.

I only assume satoshi is masculine because in fact we don't know who is satoshi (he, she, they, etc.)

With the strong belief he has for success of Bitcoin, he won't simply created it and did not mine many Bitcoin in early days to months. It's just we don't know what he actually did back in 2009 to Dec 2010.

Lost coins only make everyone else's coins worth slightly more.  Think of it as a donation to everyone.
1671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ($LINK) Chainlink Price Prediction on: November 27, 2021, 03:35:42 PM
And thats why investing in startup evaluated at 12 B only because of "developer of chainlink is very active" is not the best idea. Especially at the top of 100x pump. Yea it may do another 10x ... most likely real alt seazon did not start yet ... but if its the end of this bull run ... link may be dead untill next one and better tech with even "more active developer" may take a lead.
If I want to invest in Chain Link or Solana, I would like to wait up to 2 more years. It is when I actually do my investment into Link or Solana. Before 2023, if I buy Link or Solana, it is just buying dips only and I don't call it as my investment. Just short term trading.

I agree that it is not safe to invest into any coin that has 100x pump recent months and did not pull back deeply enough.
1672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Axie Infinity - A new Ethereum game similar to CryptoKitties [SPECIAL PRE-SALE] on: November 27, 2021, 02:39:22 PM
some say ETH fees being high and people still using the network is bullish and with the first mover advantage ETH won't miss its place
ETH lovers even say that with the ultrasound money narrative ETH could flip bitcoin at some point
If you have $10k or $20k and do such big transactions, transaction fee on Ethereum network is not a big matter with you. However, not all crypto users are rich like that and they have to consider other chains with cheaper transaction fees.

If they can have second option, they won't use Ethereum.

Flip against Bitcoin, I don't think Ethereum will achieve it but sure Ethereum enthusiasts can dream and shill whatever they believe in or want to do.
1673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Axie Infinity - A new Ethereum game similar to CryptoKitties [SPECIAL PRE-SALE] on: November 26, 2021, 01:44:18 PM
I think they have no problem relying on Vitalik
the thing is that a massive game like axie would have no chance staying on the main chain
we also saw the huge spike this year when the ronin migration happened.

Still pretty early, even if it doesn't look like.
Vitalik is a cool guy and I can say he is the greatest mind in the 1990s generation. Mark (CEO of Facebook) is the greatest mind in the generation of 1980s. They both changed the world. I have belief in Vitalik too but if talking about transaction fee, Vitalik and Ethereum have many things to resolve. They don't succeed so far to reduce transaction fee on ERC20 chain.

Ronin is a smart development from Axie Infinity team to help the growth of their game more sustainable. Gamers can not pay too expensive fee daily especially they have to play and make many transactions every day. Transaction fee on ERC-20 is painful for gamers.

Bybit is thrilled to announce that SLP/USDT is now live for both Spot and Derivative trading!
SLP is the in-game digital currency of AxieInfinity that enables players to breed collectible digital pets — known as Axies
https://twitter.com/Bybit_Official/status/1463123344006340620
Bybit is growing and with SLP, they will get more trading volume on their exchange. It is a win-win situation for all sides: Axie Infinity, Bybt and community. More exchanges to trade, higher volume in total, and more income from users' fee. More traffic for Bybit exchange from this listing too.
1674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: November 26, 2021, 01:32:27 PM
Again Digital Gold team listened to community, I like that approach and do this same in my business, always listen to clients and employees to find the best solution to every problem, honest feedback is sometimes priceless.

I keep accumulating my GOLD tokens, hope to see gold price hitting another ATH i next few months, fingers crossed.

I wonder what are your predictions GOLD token community? we haven't talked about the gold price for a while here, let's bring this topic back please.
Gold is most favorite asset when people need to find heaven for their money. Digital gold is more convenient than physical gold so sure investors will use it more in near future. The challenge is how do people in the crowd are aware of Digital gold. If they don't know about this token and don't know that these digital gold tokens are backed by safely physical gold bars stored in vaults of Bullion Stars, they might feel unsafe to invest in the token. I think marketing is key to bring digital gold to more investors.

Gold price, bullish sure because from what we see with hyper inflation globally. Price of gold must increase and it's matter of time when it will begin a new parabolic growth.
1675  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No Ban. Crypto will probably get Regulated in India. on: November 25, 2021, 10:22:28 AM
Where do you see any increase in that chart?
https://www.usefultulips.org/combined_INR_Page.html

The volume is almost flat for the entire year

$15 million a month for a 13 billion poeple country? One ¢ traded per citizen per month is too much?
Since 2020, I meant but you are right if look at the 2021 year only. The chart is almost flat in 2021. In 2020, trading volume increased too much and the flat trading volume in 2021 can be contributed by the growth of decentralized exchanges which give Indians more options to trade their crypto. They are no longer have to go to P2P marketplaces to trade. Moreover, the launch of Binance P2P can be another reason and trading volume from Binance P2P is not combined into the chart.
1676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ($LINK) Chainlink Price Prediction on: November 25, 2021, 10:14:39 AM
Super high evaluation of 12 billion dollars cannot be doubted. Potential was already doubted by me post above yours. What potential are you talking about? Industry has to grow 10-50 times (few years, maybe decades) to justify current evaluation. During that time Link competitors may overtake it and present even better product. Oracle is not woth 12 billion dollars in 2021.
Technology in crypto grows too fast and we can check back to 2013 and 2017. The top altcoins changed all since 2017 and 2018. Only XRP and Ethereum manage to stay in top 10. Dogecoin is a very old altcoin but it is a very rare case with non-special technology but has huge communities and suddenly got support from Elon Musk. Here it goes to top 10 on coinmarketcap recent months.

I believe that in 2024 and 2025, we might see some innovations and weird technology in crypto that will challenge 2021 top altcoins and most of them will fail and fall to low positions on marketcap table.
1677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NFT / METAVERSE price movement, prediction and discussion on: November 25, 2021, 09:58:51 AM
Looks like most of NFT/METAVERSE related cryptocurrencies these days are pumping, even shitcoin or useless, lol.
What currently I am afraid of these days is the bubbler on NFT/METAVERSE, since there are still some of the cryptocurrencies that are already public-traded but still, no project or use cases or product at all that users will be able to use or any utility of their token.
With decentralized exchanges, any team can add liquidity pool and open trading for their tokens. So things now are different than when we did not have DEX. Exchange listing on CEX in the past is kind of thing to consider that project spends money to list their coins and can be considered as a plus for non scam. It is not true. They listed their coins and made scam exit. With DEX, it is easier.

Quote
But yeah most of them are in the plan or in their roadmap, that's why I am careful now investing in these NFT/METAVERSE-related projects. Staratlas is only familiar among the list for me as I was able to join before on their poster sale which included some in-game items and I have already some shipped there. I am just worried because they are still no product or their game is still not avaialble at all up to this date.
Main issues of NFT/Metaverse is they are not developing in the Metaverse phase. Metaverse is something in their roadmap only. For now, they are just NFT games. Next issue is their tokenomic are unsustainable and if they can not adjust or resolve their tokenomic issues, their reward pools will be drained out before the Metaverse phase.

Additionally, to play Metaverse games, the requirement for gamers is expensive maybe and I don't know how many Play-to-Earn gamers will become Metaverse gamers
1678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to trust in projects? like www.certik.org ? on: November 25, 2021, 02:12:47 AM
If you check it on the project's website, it is certain that what is written there is only good stuff so that everyone can be very interesting to follow it while things that are still lacking for the project will not be written down immediately because if it is written, then investors will definitely will not approach the project.
Get audit certificates from big blockchain security audit companies is good and makes a project looks more trusted at least in term of security. However security and quality of a project are different. Quality of a project comes from the original idea that contributes on how a project will be built up.

A good idea, a good project can be compromised and we can not find any perfect company and product that have never been compromised in history. Google, Microsoft, Apple all have some types of compromise on their platforms, apps. Anyway because they are good and have strong resources, they fix issues quickly and keep moving on.
1679  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No Ban. Crypto will probably get Regulated in India. on: November 24, 2021, 03:16:01 PM
Because of bans, fake news, regulations whatever reasons, the trading volume of crypto on Peer to peer marketplace in India is increasing too much.

Usefultulips chart shows it. The 2021 Global crypto adoption index report shows that India is one of the most actively nation in Asia particularly and in the world generally.

Overally, I don't see any nation will go to ban Bitcoin. They want regulation, yes. They want tax, yes. but they won't ban Bitcoin.
1680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [AVAX] Avalanche Speculation - price movement tracking & discussion on: November 24, 2021, 03:07:06 PM
Avalanche looks to have good technology and its price has good growth that is support for its advanced technology. It means the community and investors realized the potential growth of AVAX from its great tech.

Price of AVAX can have pull back to $60 to $70 then it might make a new all time high. Personally price is not good to make your entry now. AVAX might move similar to Solana with a deep pull back before it rallies and breaks out for a new all time high.
