1661  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Moneyless Society on: September 03, 2017, 10:24:51 AM
If we give everyone what they want, then what's the meaning of life by that point? Let's assume, people can have what they wanted easily wherein there's no work required for them, the level of cooperation we have today will significantly reduce. People will never work unless it is on their best interest (non-monetary based interest) and consider the number of people doing their life choices based on money.

And thinking crimes will be reduced when you let people have what they want is short-term planning and it's kind of infant-minded. Humans will always find ways to harm each other one way or another, because on any society whether it is old or new there's always disagreements. And we did our best to settle this disagreements through the systems we have created. In my opinion, all we need is balance.
Meaning of life would be to live your life. Spend time with friends and family. Travel and see the world (for free of course). Meet new people. I think the lazyness nature of humans might be a problem yes. And, yes, there will always be crime, but if you could get everything you wanted, certain crimes would most likely disappear.
Can you wake up now and face reality? This is planet earth, where human wants are unlimited amidst limited means for satisfying them so you will never be able to give everyone what they want, no matter how hard anyone tries to. If as you fantasized all monies are destroyed, how would you fuel your cars, book your travel tickets or replenish your food stock when you run out of supply?
1662  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin huge fees on: September 02, 2017, 07:23:48 PM
Stop complaining, just send larger valued transactions to take advantage of the platform. Instead of transmitting 10$ transactions, transmit 10,000$ transactions like everybody else on the blockchain. Come on, get with the program!
Most complaining about the large fees every transactions. This happen transactions fees become expensive because of the bitcoin value is rising. But some said and hope it would be corrected. Well, let's see and hope then.
Rising Bitcoin price has little or nothing to do with the scary transaction fees we are getting to pay these days. A good line of argument is that much more people have adopted Bitcoin, so the network is seemingly biting more than it can chew, so the system gets clogged and slow down overall activities!
1663  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Message to the guys, that didn't buy when BTC was worth 100$ on: September 02, 2017, 06:38:41 PM
Hopefully it continues to reach massive returns and doesn't end up being a giant bubble. Just over a short period of time it has grown to be over 20% of my networth. Absolutely incredible.
Nothing says the growth has to be a straight line graph, so bubbles are sure to happen one time or the other in order for the equation to be balanced, but that is exactly how far it can go as the sentiment towards  Bitcoin have grown so strong, it would take so much doings to be able to hold it down.

As for opportunities to buy cheap again - certainly not $100, life indeed moves in cycles and whatever  goes around, comes around, though opportunities seems to prefer to deal mostly with the bold and prepared.
1664  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy Bitcoin now on: September 02, 2017, 05:32:07 PM
Should I buy Bitcoin now or wait for some weeks? :-/
.

This won't be the first and the last question that I might answering about buying bitcoin now. Maybe because of its high price many is doubtful that they will get profits from it. But it's never too late and the prices is still on increasing so do it.
What appears to be missing out above is that one has to be certain they can afford to hold the coin until whenever it becomes profitable and not to commit one's living expense in the hope that the price would always go up. If it is possible, better to just earn Bitcoin now and keep an eye on the market to buy when dips get to certain levels.
1665  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin soon 5000$ !!! on: September 02, 2017, 03:55:11 PM
we are not looking forward to seeing at 5000$ now we are waiting to reach 10 000$ ! It's not a mistery anymore ! It's happening and bitcoin-player is excited
That's to say $5000 per Bitcoin is as good as certain to happen anytime from now, but that of $10,000 might be long coming and it is going to depend largely on how the deadlock between BIP191 and UASF resolves their differences on Segwit. In the event of a hard fork and split of the network, a major correction might follow but as always Bitcoin core would dust itself up and be on it's way one more time.
1666  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is BTC going on bearish trend now? on: September 02, 2017, 02:29:25 PM
For now it is a minor correction, but I would keep an eye on things over the next few days. The market is due for a major correction sooner or later. Personally, I am pretty shocked it has risen so much in so little time. I expected a major correction to happen sooner.
It's minor correction no doubt and it is bound to happen every time an asset makes a new ATH, especially around a psychological level as people can't help not taking profit. For now, the only thing standing in the way of Bitcoin is the proposed hard fork billed for November and about that time is when the major correction should be expected, until then the ride is still on!
1667  Economy / Speculation / Re: Segwit helping BTC on: September 02, 2017, 02:12:49 PM
Litecoin has gone to $64 all the way from $5. Segwit helped it happen. Will things like support for lightning network significantly assist Bitcoin's price?
Well it already is helping BTC a bit, and the plan of segwit was to help BTC all along so yes it will help BTC. Now already the transaction fees have lowered. But I think it's still too soon to decide if segwit is helping or not.
Segwit implementation on Litecoin was a lab test for Bitcoin and successfully activation left no one doubt, it was the path to take Bitcoin. The scaling turned from what to do, to how to implement Segwit. Yesterday both Litecoin and Bitcoin were at their best, making new ATHs. But for the possibility of the hard fork aspect of Segwit2x billed for November, would have sufficed to say the lunar trip is finally here.

Lowering of transaction fees and confirmation time are some of the attributes Segwit is bringing on board, it however would not be automatic.

Litecoin has surged because people are using it to move money to avoid bitcoin fees. Nothing to do with segwit (no-one uses segwit on the litecoin network).
If it were just to avoid Bitcoin's now high fees, there are a host of other coins to compete for speed and cheaper fees. You can go back memory lane, precisely to see the price of Litecoin prior to 10th May, when the integration took place to rediscover that Litecoin was almost dormant before the activation.

Regarding bitcoin, stats show that only 1% of transactions are segwit, it's too complicated for users.
Also Bitcoin was having a free fall middle of last month and respite only came and confidence restored after the proponents of BIP91 started signaling for Segwit. That is exactly the factor behind the impressive performance of Bitcoin till this moment .
1670  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy Bitcoin now on: August 29, 2017, 06:00:26 PM
this is like a gamble, when you buy bitcoin now is feared the price will down, and but when u wait for the price is down feared the price keep grow up, so you better look for accurate information whether bitcoin price keep grow up, because the price bitcoin is not stable
There is element of risk in every endeavor of life, but we can always minimize them or play down their impacts by first of all studying and having better understanding of what one is  going to be dealing it. That way, his decision moves from being a mere guess work (gambling) to that of an informed decision. Beyond that, it is far easier to manage a known problem than uncertainty.
1671  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC upto 5000$!! on: August 29, 2017, 03:39:54 PM
i thin bitcoin will be $8000 in november.if segwit2x could enable a second hard fork, after the hard fork bitcoin price will up or maybe double.this is my opinion.
For now, there is no major bump in the way of Bitcoin - the road is clear, so we would likely be seeing new ATHs from now till early November, when the hard fork issue would come to for again. Knowing that the proposed hard fork would be to replace the present codes - not supported  by many, will be the factor to halt the present bullish run of Bitcoin. By November, I expect Bitcoin must have made a peak value and receding.
1672  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Drawbacks And Bumps On Bitcoin Path! on: August 29, 2017, 01:49:11 PM
These are apparent threats to this exquisite technology that offers us freedom to choose for ourselves and to control our own destiny, no matter where we live or were born.

1. Increasing number of attacks, forks and ransomware

2. A limited number of available coins

3. Increase in complexity of Bitcoin mining

4. Slow processing of transactions

5. Increasing transaction fees

6. Price fluctuations

7. Lack of malleability within the network

Where do we go from here?
1673  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you have 1 BTC , is it good decisions to go all-in in 1 coins? on: August 28, 2017, 06:27:44 PM
the title says it all, i wanted to learn some advice from you guys, how you guys actually manage trading if you already had with that such amounts or more

If i have 1 BTC i don't invest Altcoin, why not keep it waiting for the price up
when it has more futures and more little risky the other Altcoin.
Just like you, if I have 1 BTC i will just played in bitcoin rather than altcoin that have high risk, because based on my experience trading bitcoin relatively easier and faster to gain profit, even though bitcoin down to the base prices, the prices will rise high in quick time
I agree with you that trading in Bitcoin is less risky than trading the altcoins and that can be discerned from the point of view than Bitcoin is much more capitalized than any of the altcoins and as such is able to shock absorb manipulations by whales - pump or dump relatively easier, moreover majority of Bitcoiners and investors are having strong sentiments that the price of Bitcoin has nowhere else to go than up.
1674  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In the event of Market collapse - Quantfunds & Hedge Funds' flight to safety? on: August 27, 2017, 09:29:31 AM
With a number of countries now legalizing Bitcoin and the pursuit of licenses for ETFs to trade on Bitcoin based derivatives still strong and gathering even more momentum , it would be only a while and the entire equation can't help but change because corporate investors can no longer afford to be spectators while Bitcoin is making phenomenal impacts in global finance.
1675  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should we risk mining bitcoins ? on: August 27, 2017, 04:14:10 AM
While mining BTC is out of the question if you are hoping to get any rewards... it is still good that we establish a culture of mining even at a loss. If you want to support BTC, then mining at a loss is better than nothing. Of course, most people can't afford this, but if you have a lot of money, and you have a big BTC investment, you want to help your investment by mining the blockchain yourself. If everyone holding 100+ BTC (for example) did this, the network would be more decentralized. Just take it as if it was a subscription fee for something.

Now if you are a regular guy wanting to make money, mining some alt than then pumps it's still a valid strategy. When I was a noob, I made 0.5 BTC thanks to the big Dogecoin pump. I mined half a million Dogecoin with my AMD 7850 GPU.
For the love of Bitcoin and the community, your proposition isn't a bad one, but I foresee only a few large hearted veterans ever wanting to embark on such a giving back to the society venture especially at a time like this, when the price of Bitcoin is at its ATH. Perhaps a more beneficial approach for the community, would be to break China's dominance of mining hardware. That way overall cost of mining would become reasonable and attractive, anyone willing to mine, would mine. The concern for cost of electricity can always be taken care of with the production of highly efficient machines.

However  and until then, the best choice would be to buy all the Bitcoin you want and hodl, second would be to mine altcoins and subsequent exchange to Bitcoin.
1676  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't Spend Too Much Time Trading? is that true? on: August 26, 2017, 10:27:03 PM
i'm one who spend too much time for trading.
What exactly do you mean by spending too much time for trading? How do you spend all those time, can you break it down what you do when you trade?

I made so many stupid mistakes because of thinking emotionally instead of logically. Cry
what is your opinion?
As far as human activities are concerned, mistakes are bound to happen one time or the other, but having the requisite knowledge and experience goes a long way to mitigating the chances. The question then begging for answer is, how knowledgeable and experienced are you in trading?
1677  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beginner trader on: August 26, 2017, 08:19:05 PM
Bittrex will be the best. Always try to choose a good coin (NEO, WAVE) and Hold it at least 6-12 months, as patience is required in crypto trading. You may use the following tips:
Tip 1. Never invest everything at one go. Do it in 3-4 parts.
Tip 2: Crypto is volatile. Even 60 percent fall should not bother.

I think a much better and safer way to trade altcoins would be to rule out all those below the first 10 most capitalized coins. That would ensue the availability of enough liquidity, which is something the market requires to be flexible and profitable. That said, then the right coin(s) to buy any day would be any of the above 10 altcoins, whose price have fallen by no less than 10% in preceding days. Simply buy and Hodl, things get better from there!

A safer approach would be to buy perhaps half or one-third quantity of the coin(s) and await further drop in price to buy more.
1678  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How the NSA caught Satoshi Nakamoto on: August 26, 2017, 07:21:55 PM
They don't want to take it that they have lost it and that this one is certainly beyond them, so anything to keep their hope alive seems okay. Soon they would run out of steam and then back at the garbage dump in search of next trash can to throw up in the air.
1679  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade or Hodling on: August 26, 2017, 06:28:54 PM
Trading is more profitable as compared to holding but is not suitable for everyone. And for those who are not good in trading I recommend holding their bitcoin will be better for them instead of gambling with it through trading.
It is exactly as you said, trading is sure to bring in more profit than Hodling, though that's a luxury only experienced and skillful traders are privileged to enjoy. For the traders that are not quite knowledgeable, it is a right advice to simply Hodl and not to bother with trading. I am thinking the later group of traders should simply be addressed as speculators.

Bitcoin Cash came into existence a little while ago with plans to eclipse  Bitcoin  and so they invariably brought its capitalization chasing that of Bitcoin  -  higher capitalization means more liquidity.  I however did not bother to have anything to do with it, because it threatened our one and only Bitcoin, but while scrutinizing market setups last week - on 18/08/2017 , I spotted a Head N Shoulders pattern building up then fetched myself a seat  and have been enjoying the amazing ride over and over again till this moment .

Honestly it never seizes to amaze me when noob traders jump to conclusion that T. A. is useless in crypto-trading, perhaps they had better wake up from their illusions. Here's how it is going:
