I was in a gay relationship the last 5 years, but now he left me Angry

Sad to read. But move on because tomorrow will be better...and you may find a right one to cancel the who left you.
1704  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best way to build trust on: September 30, 2014, 05:44:06 AM
As per title, are there better ways to do it or is it simply time served on the forum?

One day I'd like to offer Escrow services but maybe lending BTC is another way to do it, although there is obviously risk involved in this :/

Why do you want to offer escrow services? This always rings alarm bells because why are you so eager to hold onto large sums of others money? There is no fast track way to gaining trust so you have to do it the long way and build it other time. Do lots of various trades and eventually you will become so trustworthy people will trust you without escrow, then maybe you can start offering escrow yourself.

Notso reading your post my first tought was "Damn, another DUMB SCAMMER"! However, by posting such a question you look too dumb even for a dumb scammer. As Dr. Pepper already told you: "there  is no fast track way to gaining trust so you have to do it the long way and build it other time." You have to do trades that you need to do, not only for trust.

Earn it. Be a transparent and trustworthy forum member and it will come.
Just go about doing trades. But do trades that you need to do, not only for trust or people will look down on you.

My wife is packing her stuff already, shes leaving me, fuck fuck FUUCKKK it will take me eternity to make things right. No more gambling, ever, again.

Lol. She was probably blowing some other dude way before you lost those coins.

+1  Cheesy

My wife is packing her stuff already, shes leaving me, fuck fuck FUUCKKK it will take me eternity to make things right. No more gambling, ever, again.

That's not the right lesson. Everything in life is a gamble. You cant not gamble. If you put your money in dollars you are gambling on dollars. If you put it in bitcoin you are gambling on bitcoin. The lesson is MAKE SMART BETS. A mathematically demonstrable negative expected return on investment is not a smart bet. There is no way the scope of this problem is limited to gambling. It has to be a symptom of something else not the problem its self. There is no way that you could have tendencies that would compel you to bet on something that you know has a negative expected return on investment and have that be the only negative manifestation of said tendencies in your life. I would bet a million dollars on that and it would be a smart bet.

If you cant identify why you would make a decision that you know is bad on an intellectual level, than your life is going to be shit in general for 1000 reasons gambling only being a small part of it.

But im just some guy talking out of his ass. I dont have any fancy papers on my wall accrediting me to give this advise. So take it for what its worth. I would see a therapist, maybe he/she will be able to help you find the root cause of what ever is causing you to make decisions that you know are bad.

+1 I agree. One should learn from his mistakes to improve his life. If professional advice is needed he should seek it as soon as possible (and without any shame). Cool
1707  Other / Meta / Re: Banned 7 days on: September 30, 2014, 04:00:05 AM
Well im finally back!!! After being banned for 7 days for "nonsense" posting in the off topic forum. No posts or personal messages allowed. And i thought it was anything goes in off topic area as i was told.

Possibly you complained about? I was banned 3 days because i complained about a few messages i posted in the off-topic section (mostly replies into threads started by other users). However, i've got the message and i don't complain anymore and follow the rules "as written in the forum".

Combine cold fusion, geothermal, wind powered, and solar power and then you tell me who the fuck is going to ask for money. I will be game over for these damn scammers and their oligopolies. The only guy getting the money will be the one that really deserves it, aka the technician that knows how to repair the energy receptors/generators and what not, not some rich cunt hoarding earth's resources.

Huh How can you say who's really deserving money?  Roll Eyes
1709  Local / Trading, analisi e speculazione / Re: [TRADING][SPECULAZIONE][ANALISI] DOGE/BTC: To the moon? on: September 29, 2014, 04:19:24 PM

Just my 2 satoshi!  Cool

China is a super power. You know why? It's the largest world manufactory ever made! They have a billion people, atomic bomb and they can conquer the world! I don't know what thing exactly is making them stay calm.

A robber with a gun can have your wallet without even shotting at you. Why having a murder count if you can avoid it?
1712  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia Holds Massive Military Drill: Good for Bitcoin? on: September 28, 2014, 09:28:15 AM

Full Scale War For US is a win economically

Economic Wins: Cut Exports & Imports to Non US Allies) , All Military Contractors Buget increase (lckheed, north grman, GOOGLE, and multiple other companies , Stock Market boom, Reduce Oil Exports, Increase fracking, oil Shale, Increase Exports to US Allies , Increased Manufacturing Plants Due To Factories Being built, We have more energy producing resources then ANYOTHER NATION / SAND OILS ,GULFOIL,TEXASOIL,ALASKAOIL,DESERTS FOR SOLAR, PLAINS FOR WIND & CROPS ,COASTLINE FISHING, FRESHWATER SOURCES ,

a war could only be good for the economy if youre not in it.
otherwise your wasting resources on weapons and warfare instead of producing consumer goods.

I would say: a war could only be good for the economy if you're not....fighting it on your own soil & you end up on the right side of history.
World War II gave different economic results for each of the winning allies.

Can you guys fix this? this is to complicated for newbies, too many 00000000000000  Huh
There is nothing to fix here. There aren't too many zero's. Please, start learning and don't be lazy.
1 BTC = 100,000,000 Satoshis, in other words 1 Satoshi = 0.00000001 BTC,
Further examples:
1 BTC = 1,000 mBTC (millibitcoin)
1 BTC = 1,000,000 μBTC (microbitcoin)
1 mBTC = 100,000 Satoshis
1 μBTC (microbitcoin) = 100 Satoshis

It is not that hard if you spend some time learning this and educating yourself. Nobody said that you have to use mBTC or uBTC

As LaudaM & others before have already said there is nothing wrong. BTC adopted SI prefixs to improve usability & understanding across the world. Maybe I only had good Public Schooling but I have had no problem understanding mBTC, μBTC; since when we went to Elementary School here we were told about SI prefixs. Maybe you have been told of SI prefixs when researching for a new HDD buy? Mega-, Giga-, Tera- are also SI prefixs. So, as LaudaM already told you don't be lazy & spend some time learning about SI prefixs, mBTC, μBTC and educating yourself.
It's no too hard!  Wink
1715  Economy / Economics / Re: China will become Super Power ? on: September 28, 2014, 08:14:17 AM
I am pretty sure that China is already a super power. They have the most foreign currency reserves in the world. They have one of the biggest economies in the world. They have nuclear weapons. They have a very large military and one of the strongest military's in the world. They hold a seat on the security council at the UN.

What more do they need for you to think they are a super power?

+1
Agreed. I come from International relations (IR) field of study and we already know from years that China (PRC) is at least a "potential" Superpower. China is surely a Great Power due to his enourmous capabilities (economic, military, population, ecc.) and was also recognized by other world Powers as such. Index like the Composite Index of National Capability give also you a instant visual check on the situation. Giving ground to China "Second Superpower" status are also fact as the U.S.–China Strategic and Economic Dialogue (S&ED), the so-called Group of Two (G-2) by which the U.S. implicitly recognize China (PRC) as such.

China has a major demographic problem because of the one child policy. Soon, it will have too much old people, a lowering of its active population and growing problems, just like Japan and now Europe.

Who knows what will happen 30 years from now? We could have immigration from other countries into China. Smiley
I would find this somewhat unlikely. The standard of living of people living in China is really not that great. They also are lacking many rights that 'free' people generally take for granted (freedom of the press, uncensored internet, ect)

They did make a big jump from communism to pseudo-free market.
So I guess change is possible.
I would say that China is still very far from being a free market. They have strict currency controls and keep their currency almost pegged to the dollar (They allow for small fluctuations on a daily basis). They also restrict the flow of ideas, information and speech. See the GFW and the recent blocking of bitcointalk.org from inside most of China

Soviet Union was a Superpower albeit it was not a free-market. Do you mean Soviet Union was not a Superpower and generation of IR scholars & pratictioners in Government Worldwide made a mistake recognizing the Soviet Union as such?  Huh
Any totalitarian government (even if toying with freemarket) have strict currency controls & restrict the flow of ideas, information and speech. But not all totalitarian government may be Great Powers (or even Superpowers).

Super power doesn't mean military might and economic prowess alone.
 S
Soft power such as culture and influence still go a long way. And last time I check, every 3rd world school still insist children to learn English, not Chinese.

So Japan is a Superpower for you? I may agree that some soft power could be useful and may need to be taken in account but hard power still count a lot in the IR field & among states themselves. Do you look at the recent crisis in Ukraine/Eastern Europe? EU soft power prevented Russia from invading Ukraine (first in Crimea, then in the east of the country) utilizing her Hard Power (military, economic) to accomplish her goals?European Union and its members have a lot of Soft Power but without Hard Power you end up on the wrong side of the history. Also Japan has a lot of Soft Power but isn't recognized by any world Power as a Superpower.
1716  Economy / Speculation / Re: Trying to predict Bitcoin's price in 2015 through crowd wisdom on: September 28, 2014, 07:52:55 AM
The basic idea is that if you get enough people from different demographics to guess something the average result is as good as an expert's advice.

Crowd wisdom  might be a good indicator for estimating the outcome of an election but it has little to no value for super complicated topics like asset pricing... Gl though...

1720  Economy / Economics / Re: Was Titanic Sunk To Kick Start The Private Federal Reserve Debt Slavery System? on: September 27, 2014, 08:00:00 PM
Yet another conspiracy theory.

For year there are talks about that titanic didnt sink, that it was some other ship.
To many TV shows made on this theme, recent was on Discovery channel regarding this.
Also many news articles about this was made in several newspapers.

What is truth i dont think that anyone knows so if some1 dig up wreckage of sink ship we will now for sure.

Conspiration theorist simply update their theories: titanic didnt sink. it was some other ship. or 911 hijacked airliners didn't crash on WTC & Pentagon and landed at some undisclosed location. Remotely piloted Wide-Body Aircraft crashed against WTCs & Pentagon instead. Just change the settings & transport means for people and the work is done.
