1702  Other / Meta / [Closed] Apologies accepted. on: February 01, 2012, 03:38:47 AM
Edit: In light of Maxwell's apology I will end the bounty. Thank you.

I will pay 200 BTC for proof/strong evidence that I am involved with the drug industry, child pornography, or illegal gun BTC markets as he suggests. He claims I am making a profit from this.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=54467.msg725229#msg725229

This slander is absurd/unwarranted and needs to stop. G. Maxwell post your proof/evidence here and take my BTC or apologize.

The few people who know what I do and how I make my money will find this absurd and Maxwell once it comes out you will lose face.

I will also pay a 200 BTC bounty connecting G. Maxwell to the child pornography, drug industry and illegal gun BTC markets that he claims to be such an expert on. If you can give me strong evidence in his involvement in this and make it public you will get the 200 BTC.

Cost/Photo?

Also I have been told the coins that I just bought from you look really awesome, but I have not seen them yet:P

Cost is currently 5.1 BTC + shipping (subject to exchange rate fluctuation).  This is just the bar, I am engraving it for free.  The only constraint I might add is I might take a few extra days to produce them after you order, as they are easier to engrave in a batch than one at a time.

Picture, it's the same item posted in this thread by coblee in post #47.

I can also sell the little plastic novelty Litecoins in the same shipment, 1.5 BTC can get you ten of them.

I am very tempted to get a 25,000 LTC bar going. I assume there is no way to get rid of the Baht symbol on the bar?
1704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Physical Litecoins on: January 30, 2012, 06:21:13 AM
I could do more of these since I have the file nailed down...

Here's how it works, buy my non-denominated bar on Casascius.com, request an LTC bar (any denomination), I will assign and send you an LTC address that belongs to your bar.  Send me a link to an LTC block explorer showing you've funded your address, then I will send you the bar.  It will look exactly like in the picture (though aligned better, as I've worked the artwork file a bit better so it lines up more centered with the bar).

I do not actually participate in trading LTC, I am simply creating a bar, including a Bitcoin private key, and using a utility to calculate the equivalent Litecoin address from the full Bitcoin address.  So you simply fund your own bar before I ship it.

1710  Economy / Currency exchange / Mt. Gox wire fail again. on: January 23, 2012, 10:05:31 AM
My first wire took 21 days to get to me. I was told this was because they had never done a wire in Thai Baht before and that the second one should take a few days.

Well it has been over a week and the only response I can get is "your status has been updated" (whatever that means) and that there will be delays because of Chinese new year. Keep in mind this was done way before Chinese New Years hit. I have been in the IRC chan 5 times and no response from anyone.

I really would like someone from Mt. Gox to at least let me know what is going on. Thanks.
1711  Economy / Auctions / Re: Advertise on this forum - Round 18 on: January 22, 2012, 05:25:29 AM
Current state:
Slots BTC Person
1 1 Goat
5 1 wm-center.com
2 1 FlipPro

That is not right, FlipPro only gets one slot:(

Only 7 slots this week. I think the 8th is for a spot trying to get a guy to write the forum code.

Thanks.
1712  Economy / Auctions / Re: 1991 Encased USO Silver Dollar on: January 22, 2012, 03:50:54 AM
Update:
After I won, OP told me that this was 'supposedly' shipped on the week of 12/26/2011.
One month has passed and no coin has been received.
kujoking7 what is the status of this, can you provide a tracking number?

There are about 10 threads now calling this guy a scammer. Did you pay in advance?
1713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Physical Litecoins on: January 21, 2012, 06:25:15 PM
I am interested in something holding 10,000 or 20,000 or 25,000 LTC... Can this be done? Thanks.
1714  Economy / Lending / Want a loan in US dollars to buy more mining equipment. on: January 21, 2012, 03:20:19 PM
Hello, I am an experienced miner and would love to expand my operation while the mining conditions are great and look to get better. I am open to all reasonable offers. Either make a post in the thread or PM me.

Thanks.

p.s. I will need at least $1,000 from one or more people to make a decent rig.

Project #2  FAQ

Q:    How can I make an account?
A:   Please message Goat at the bitcointalk.org forum the following information, your BTC address and your email.  Account details will be sent to you shortly.

Q:    So all of my miners need to use the same name as my log in account?
A:   Yes! and do not forget it is cASe senSitIvE!

Q:   Do I need a worker password?
A:   No

Q:   Why is there a delay in my payout?
A:   Goat currently does all of the payout by hand. The payout delay should never be more than 12 hours and can be as fast as half an hour depending on the time of day. Goat has coins in storage to meet all payouts and they are not connected to the servers. Hacking will not be profitable.

Q:    Why is your front in so basic?
A:   We are in development and right now have a simple but fully working solution. We will take requests and add features to our to do list. Please contact us directly with your ideas.

Q:    What payout method do you use?
A:   We pay at percent above the expected payout of a PPS system.

Q:   How can you pay more than 100% PPS?
A:    Our primary revenue source is reselling your hashing power to large long term buyers. We collect hashing power from many small sellers and are able to direct it to a few large buyers.

Good luck next time for the next bidders.

I will create a new auctions for a new account soon, so be ready. Account will have 3k+ followers.

Again thank you everyone for bidding

Congratualtions Matthew Smiley   You might as well just take it at this price!  I have never even used twitter:P

I don't feel good about taking this considering everyone including myself was confused about the auction's terms. If anyone disagrees with this and wants to challenge it, I will be happy to have him redo the auction.

Also, the next one is mine too! FNEH!  Cheesy

I do not challenge:)

The user's local time right now is:

January 20, 2012, 01:34:32 AM

That means that as of my post right now, there are still 22 1/2 hours left on this auction. I don't know why he said "3 hours left", but if he meant it, I won. If not, I'll still win! FNEH!  Grin

if he said 3 hours left i got in before 3 hours where up.    op also says pm? on the 20th? lol
