Why would he go bust if he's free to change interest rates at will? He could change them to zero for example. Wish I could do that with my loans.
Because he will eventually need to return the debt? Or are you saying that he will not pay interest and will not return the coins he borrowed and still not default? Pirate will issue IOUs and invent bitcoin fractional reserve banking . who's going to bail him out tho? in the bitcoin world banks are not to big to fail.

When are we going to see the price settle back down for a brief interval before resuming its inexorable upward plod?
When s/t bad happens (like Gox). e.g. Pirate vanish. Then BTC would be famous as the only money backed by drugs and ponzis. (Not that I would not invest any more in it) Or when ppl figures out that the blockchain growth is not practical and/or cannot sustain a serious traffic of Tx. yes this is one issue that, if not solved. could kill bitcoin... the buying of drugs online using bitcoin will continue. but people will stop believing it will ever be anything more

If history repeats itself, there will be a 100% increase in a very short period, then the bubble pops.
Last time it was a 3800% increase in 2 months. this will not happen, this only happened because people were thinking this was it, bitcoin was going to take over. no one is that naive anymore.... as long as people with money believe that, i am ok No one believes that whats driving up the price is the thought that, as long as bitcoin continues to grow and improve, everyone holding will continue to hold, no matter what the price.... we see no sign that bitcoin will ever stop growing, so....

this is not a bubble because their would be extreme support at 9ish ( even without the new big bull player )
any significant rise from here is a bubble
i do not think the market will allow for another bubble, the same way we saw last year...
but if the new bull keeps buying the way he has been... the market might have no choice but go into bubble mode.
hopefully this bubble to say 30 will stop the new bull from buying, then we'll see a crash to 12 where the new bull will resume his constant buying and supporting

a reasonable plan would be for me to sell more at higher levels I could cover all of my investment, and my paper wallet would be pure profit. Shouldn't have got all out to begin with.
I'm still very much in... b4 the rise i was ALL IN now I'm 80% in 80% on USD value(before the raise) or BTC value? i was quick i bought alot at 5 and 6 by 7$ I was all in ( well not exactly true, i have more money in the bank.... lets just say holding nothing but bitcoin on the exchange = all in) can you really blame me for cashing some out at 9 and 11? Edit: my bid failed to be filled yesterday

Adam, spend like 10-25% of what you intended to spend, and if Murphy's Law works against you you'll be able to enter at lower point =)
Remember!: You cannot count on any of Murphy's law (including this one).True, but.. chances are if Adam decided to go all in now with what he sold at 9 or whatever, waiting so long for correction - it is very likely after he buys in, market will reverse. Of course this is just an esoteric realm which shouldn't be given much weight for making financial decisions, but it has some entertaining points )) wouldn't you think my buying would push prices higher... what could go wrong? "everything that can go wrong, will go wrong" Damn you Murphy!

OP said something about fib resistance levels.
So that would be $32*(1-1/phi) = 12.2229124
notice the key word... 12ish is the "fib resistance" are we seeing any resistance right now?

nothing anyone can say can change my mind.
hopefully i can quit smoking and have more money... but any money saved their will be going toward living! I'm buying a car soon, another baby on the way.... life is expensive, i can't afford the risk.
That sucks not being able to afford the risk. Perhaps if you had bought more bitcoins earlier then you could afford the risk. Ever read the great novel Catch 22? the sad fact of the matter is that he did buy much earlier at much lower prices but then he sold. he's hoping for a 31% correction before he's willing to buy back. dude i bought at 0.75! but only 25$ lol
