The ask wall at $13 is a blatant attempt at manipulating the weak hands into selling their coins. Mtgox should remove all the asks again lol.

ok so many people were saying that Pirate's bank would have to default if the price kept rising, 10$ seem like a sure bet he was done for it.
so is that what we are seeing on the market lately?
first he admits to selling from 9 to 7.4, he must of thought 9 was the top and he could easily pressure people into selling. he must of saw that selling at 9$ wasn't a gr8 idea, so he pushed the price ( or let it rise ) to 12 dollars. now once again he trying to sell high and then try to push it down.
if this doesn't work, do you think he will try again higher?
if prices continue to rise, when will he default?

It's interesting that it doesn't seem like anyone wants to sell even for 11.5 $ - I am not taking the chance on selling  what i find interesting is the that their are people willing to buy at 11.5.. impatient bull gone wild has been the theme for the past 3 months |

it's like Magic; it just won't go down. A drop from $12 to $10.80 ...is what, going up? lol the spike to $12 was due to the volatility from the $1B glitch. you know as well as i that $10.80 is not anywhere near as deep as you want it to drop to. afterall, you sold at just over $11 where we are now. hehe, not to mention that 'high to low' spread ≠ drop So the price going from $12 to $10.80 is not going down and not a "drop".. What is it called? "going up"? of course its a drop. but what we're both talking about here is a significant DROP. as in CRASH. which would open up a buying opportunity for you and Adam. yes, it could happen but so far so good. you should know. read my update. sad truth is the price has been manipulated up form only one reason. the manipulator sees that 11$ is starting to show some serious resistance the manipulator will try to keep 11$ a float for as long as possible as he sells once hes done, he will simple remove his support, offer more resistance, and wait. the second people see the price is going down slowly... they are going to panic and with good reason. first wave of people sell us a falling knife, its cough at 9.50 by those who sold above 10 but it will continue to slowly drop because the price has in fact been grossly manipulated up 9.50 for a week 8.50 for a week 7.50 for a week and we hit bottom at 6.72 its going to happen Deal with it! |

not to mention the fact that you guys are hanging on every post waiting for the drop so you can BUY back. problem is you gotta sleep sometime and sure enough, the spike down will happen just as you close your eyes. or not. might as well just hit the buy button now. That's what putting buy orders in is for. I slept great last night BTW. 9 hours. Thanks for the advice. Means a lot. He he  I fix my bids b4 going to sleep. I get to move them up a bit cuz i sold about 11 today I also made myself a excel sheet to track my trades and calculate profits for what price i want to buy back in |

they won't make anything illegal unless they know they can actually enforce it otherwise the black eye would be politically suicidal. since they can't enforce it, they won't make it illegal.
