1721  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info Something went wrong. Please refresh. on: March 18, 2022, 05:45:57 PM
3 days i cant see my balance, and cant send bitcoin.....
When i deleting my cookies and cashe of browser Firefox it only show per 1 second my balance then showing this message "Something went wrong. Please refresh."
Here is picture
-snip-

Have you tried to disable all your extensions (if you have any) and see if that works?

Alternatively, you should be able to access your funds by:

1. Trying to use the mobile app instead of the website.
2. Recovering the wallet in Electrum using your seed
1722  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there any VCC provider that doesnt require KYC? on: March 17, 2022, 03:22:14 PM
Wirex does require KYC yes. There is this service which you can check out[1]. I'm not sure if they launched yet though, I know that the site is up and running but I haven't tried them, so I can't really vouch for them. Also, and as I mentioned in that topic, I personally think that the cards are quite expensive...

1723  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: I accidentally transferred btc to an old Electrum adress.. on: March 17, 2022, 12:07:52 PM
It's one of the tabs above your transactions:

If it's not there, go to the menu "View" > "Show Console":

If the command returns true it means that the address is inside that wallet you're currently using otherwise, it's not.
1724  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: I accidentally transferred btc to an old Electrum adress.. on: March 17, 2022, 11:52:04 AM
It's the invoice that can expire and not the address.  Your funds should be there. Is your wallet synced with the servers? Can you see a green circle in the bottom of the app?

Also, try to use the following command in the console and see whether it returns true or false:

Code:
ismine("paste your receiving address here")
1725  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Tracking BTC transfers on: March 16, 2022, 06:40:24 PM
I'm not sure if the app you mentioned does that. AFAIK, It's more for tracking your portfolio and earnings.

Which wallet are you using? Electrum gives you the ability to add descriptions to your transactions.
1726  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ukraine: Zelensky signed the law "On virtual assets" today on: March 16, 2022, 04:57:46 PM
I'm not sure I understand what's the difference between this and the law which the parliament passed like a month ago[1]?

1727  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Trezor + Electrum Server on: March 16, 2022, 03:38:26 PM
Trezor just pushed a new update (change log[1]), and among the changes is full node support for Electrum server. It was possible to connect to your own node before, but only using Blockbook (Trezor's software).

You just have to go to the Settings > Crypto > Select "Bitcoin" and then choose "Custom Electrum Server":

I haven't tried this yet, but I would like to hear some feedback from anyone who did since this is still a beta feature.

1728  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: where to spend my bitcoins in new york city? on: March 15, 2022, 02:53:36 PM
You can use CoinMap for that. Here are the available services in New York[1]. Some services might have gift cards but not support bitcoin directly, so you can use Bitrefill[2]

1729  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why can't I withdraw my funds from Mellow Ads? on: March 15, 2022, 09:49:27 AM
I deposited funds to my Mellow Ads account in December 2021, it was about 90 dollars in BTC, when i tried to withdraw them though, and i confirmed my withdrawal through email, they said that the hot wallet was empty and that they couldn't initiate the withdrawal, and to try again later, Idk what hot wallet they were talking about, as in the withdrawal page, my funds were listed as "available to withdraw". I tried again the next day to withdraw, and still it didn't work, it still displayed the same message.

That's the thing, when using a custodial service, you're not given a wallet with its private keys. They just assigned an address to you, and the funds you see are just 1's and 0's in their database. The hot wallet they were referring to is theirs, the one that processes the customer's withdrawal requests.

I don't want to lose my 90 dollars like that, the reason why i was gonna use mellow ads was to advertise my referral link for a binance airdrop that is happening this month, but then i decided not to do it and to just invest on binance's platform with these funds instead, but now i can't even withdraw them. Even today, i tried again just in case it might work today, still the same messasge.

Is Mellow Ads a scam? I saw many people recommend their site when it came to advertising, hence why i went with them. What should i do? I tried emailing them 3 times in january as well and they still haven't responded, which makes me think they're blatant scammers.

A service that allows "bitcoin generators" is definitely not to be trusted in my opinion: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5253358.0

Also:

- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2660174.0

Sadly there's nothing much you can do at this point. Just keep trying to reach out to the support, maybe they'll eventually respond.
1730  Local / العربية (Arabic) / رسوم الاثريوم on: March 15, 2022, 09:36:32 AM

What happened to this project? I just opened the URL from my bookmarks and it shows a 404.

RGBFaq is also not accessible apparently. I'm not sure what happened exactly but you can still access the content of the page from Github: https://github.com/RGB-WG/rgb-org.github.io/blob/master/index.md

https://paxful.com/sell-bitcoin/playstation-network-gift-card?hasScroll=true

1735  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Gate.io banned some countries on: March 13, 2022, 06:44:06 PM
From what I found they were based in China, and then moved to the U.S. Not sure how accurate the info is but regardless, does anyone knows how is it possible that the KYC was mandatory and at the same time, they still served users from Iran, Syria, and Cuba when no other exchange could?
1736  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Which hardware wallets are open source? on: March 13, 2022, 05:18:15 PM
Here's a list made by dkbit: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5288971.0

If you're looking to buy one, then I would recommend you go with Trezor. It's the most reputable one.
1737  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Crypto debit card in Canada ??… on: March 13, 2022, 01:47:37 PM
Hope you don’t mind me asking you seem to know one thing or two about ADVCash 😁😁
Is Advcash an alternative to master or visa cards ? Could their cards be accepted for payments by merchants worldwide and money withdrawal from atms ? Or is unionpay extremely limited for that matter ??

It's widely used but not as much as Visa and MasterCard. According to their official site, over 90% of the merchants accept UnionPay in Canada[1]. I don't see why would you order it though. It's quite expensive compared to Crypto.com.

1738  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there interested in a Virtual Visa Debit Card ? | Opinion asked on: March 13, 2022, 10:12:00 AM
-snip-

Thanks for answering my questions. Well, I just tried to make an account to see the website and I have to say I'm a bit disappointed with the prices of preloaded cards. It's not what I was expecting. Putting the quality of the cards aside, I really think that the prices offered by Coinsbee/PrepaidDigitalSolution were quite reasonable (IIRC something like +2.5%-3.5% of the card's value). Is there any reason why you're providing them for such a high price? I do realize that you're one of the few services that offer these cards, but do you think that people would be willing to pay 20$ extra when they want to buy something that costs 25$? I could be wrong, but I personally don't think there will be much demand for that.
1739  Other / Archival / Re: [BIG LIST] Crypto Debit Cards on: March 13, 2022, 08:31:05 AM
For advcash the first option why does it say master card ?? Am pretty sure they only provide union pay cards not master or visa !?…

AFAIK, they used to have MasterCard before, and currently, they have Visa cards but it's just for EU, Turkey, and Israel while UnionPay cards are for the rest of the world.
