1741  Economy / Economics / Re: Is risky to invest this period on: March 29, 2023, 06:07:39 AM
Investment always has a risk and if we ask whether it is currently a risk, of course the answer is yes, investment does not guarantee profit so we must always think realistically, if we hope too much for profit then we can be stressed and depressed because the hope of profit does not come soon.
Not everyone understands this. Those newcomers who come to the world of cryptocurrencies think that they will get rich almost instantly, but this is not so.There is a risk here and it is very strong. One piece of news in the media can collapse the market in one day.

Many people think that by investing in bitcoin they will be rich in a month or even less, they don't understand the market situation so when a storm occurs they give up and leave crypto with a loss.

They always jump into the hype or when the price starts to rise because that is the only time that they notice it. When the price drops, they even bother about it, meaning they will not buy it and not treat it as an opportunity to buy. So it is really better to learn first and practice your emotions before investing because there are really ups and downs to it, so you should be ready for whatever the market throws at you.
1742  Economy / Economics / Re: Is some certain lifestyle a waste of money and time ? on: March 29, 2023, 04:36:14 AM
If the minimum wage per month is still below $300, think clearly and don't do such stupid things. Still not married I wouldn't do something silly like that,  let alone already have a family. They call it's fun? is it fun to drink? Why not train yourself to develop or at least do a hobby? But when the salary is over $1000 per month, I think it's okay to drink for pleasure once a week.
It is okay to drink once a month as long as you just spend a few dollars on it because it is good for your health, but that doesn't mean that you will spend so much and also do it on a weekly basis. Before, when my salary was $300, I still drank for fun, and there's nothing wrong with that, but only once a month, and sometimes nothing because I was short. As long as you ain't spending so much, then it's okay, but if it will affect your family, then it is not good.
1743  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why I might consider selling my Bitcoin. on: March 29, 2023, 03:32:38 AM
You are very lucky because you can control your emotions and don't panic and sell because most of us when there is a pump are tempted to sell off, and I can relate to this. After a couple of months, I would regret it as it pumps more. But you are too defensive, and you should set a target for when you will sell it off that is achievable. Right now that is also one of my reasons to sell it off, which I called it in case of emergency, but if it ever reaches my goal, I will sell it.
1744  Economy / Economics / Re: Bank loans and securities. on: March 29, 2023, 02:27:16 AM
They need assurance and that is really the protocol. Also it doesn't mean that your certificate has no value, it has value for you as you treasure it and hard time to got it but it doesn't mean  that you can sell it off as it has no price value that is why they needed something assets that can bank sell of to others if you can't repay your loan. But still yiu can take a loan as long as you are working just give them proof
1745  Other / Meta / Re: I bought a yacht thanks to bitcoin. on: March 29, 2023, 01:21:51 AM
I still congratulate them about their made up stories. Ive seen a lot really of threads about it which i responded to it also with questions and asking proofs but i will not sending merits. Most of the threads are posting it for the sake of merits even if they dont have proof. I dont criticized them but i just thrown questions thay for sure if they are not answering and replying to meaning it is really a made up story on their mind
1746  Economy / Economics / Re: Is taking a loan/debt addicted ? on: March 28, 2023, 04:12:14 PM
From my own understanding nobody intentionally get loan from any angle but I understand that why people get loan or have low because of problem they are into and that causes death to them if they are not able to meet up the target of refunding the loan it have course adept them so nobody have it in mind to be having no from any other person except problem Hai

Nah, I've seen people mostly boasting in social media about buying those recent versions of the Iphone, which they are proud of. They can buy those, but in the later part, someone will say it is an installment. I am not against those people as they can repay it, and I am not the one paying it, but the point is that it is a waste of money to spend it on your wants unless you bought it for vlogging purposes that you are already earning from it or for photography. But again, it is not my choice, so let them be.
1747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why people are always interested in altcoins on: March 28, 2023, 01:20:53 PM
It's hard to make 100x gain from Bitcoin or Ethereum and 100x is enough to change someone's life for good, imagine investing a thousand dollars in an altcoin and the altcoins just shoot over the roof doing 100x that's 100k in dollars, this is the dream of every altcoin investors, but also altcoin has the most massive damage, all your money can go near zero.

You can still gain this profit in Bitcoin, but it takes time, like a year or so, by holding it, which is safer, but it is not like altcoins, where if you find a promising coin and invest in it, you can be doubling or more your profit because once it's listed on an exchange, you'll make massive profit on it within a week or a month, but again, the risks are high, which is why people loved it more.
1748  Economy / Economics / Re: Where do we go from here on: March 28, 2023, 12:01:10 PM
it is just that Elon's behaviour towards technology is inconsistent. at first he says he will support cryptocurrency and will try to integrate crypto and bitcoin into his newly bought company which is Twitter, then after about few months he changed his mind and now focused on AI and is  planning to support AI again. we shouldn't take his antics seriously its because for sure he will change his mind again when the time comes.

I also noticed that this keeps changing his mind, but let's admit that he is also a smart person, though I am not really a fan of him. The way he talks and the way he predicts the future is always amazing, and that is also his thinking as he will also make a business out of it to make profit. But AI is really progressing fast, so his predictions would really be possible, but before that, AI can make our lives easier.
1749  Economy / Economics / Re: Is some certain lifestyle a waste of money and time ? on: March 28, 2023, 10:42:24 AM
That is why they are inviting you because you are paying the bills lol. Has any of your friends having financial problems like they are saying that they salary is not enough or they are now in debt then it would really bad for them financially. Alcohol and eating outside is really big expenses but nothing wrong with this if you are just doing this on monthly basis just to treat your self but if it is frequently you really go broke. I do drink alcohol mostly if i do have extra money just to relaxt but not on daily basis which still i say that it is a waste of money because if I save it i could have enough money to buy something.
1750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Skill Based Slot Machines on: March 28, 2023, 09:11:47 AM
So this means that it multiplies your percentage of winning; let's say if you win in the bonus round, your percentage will be doubled or something like that. Well, it is good and it is an advantage to those who love slots since they can increase their chance of winning, but has this been implemented already, like what kind of bonus rounds we are now seeing? I am not a fan of slots, but I do sometimes play the traditional ones, and I would say it is very impossible to win.
1751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about this? on: March 28, 2023, 07:00:38 AM
Recently, a Uganda pastor who won 100million shillings decided to shut down his ministry. This left me with several questions in my head, such as ' Do religious leaders gamble? Is it right for religious leaders to gamble? Knowing fully well that most of them preach against gambling in their religious places. What is the ethical and moral implications of gambling, particularly in the context of religious practices and beliefs?
Money makes a person's beliefs change every time in second, we can't argue this fact and his deceit. Maybe he builds the church just open collect donator funds and use it as capital for gambling because we don't know the depths of the pastor's heart. If I were people who live in that local residents, I will call the money auditors agency to audit all the Pastor's Money, because he might violate the rules like misappropriation of public funds.
.

We really don't know the motives of the pastor, if the church and his beliefs are real or just for donation sake because he wants to gamble it, but looking at it from our perspective, he closes the church after winning it, so the dark side of it really is the purpose. People will really change their minds when it comes to huge money, and for sure he is already living out of his life right now and very happy.
1752  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of work and education on: March 28, 2023, 06:01:14 AM
Most people will really judge it because of its history because that is the first thing they hear and they are now closed-minded to new information. The past usage of bitcoin really is not good as it involved drugs, weapons, and the dark web, which people always think is illegal, and their first impression was that bitcoin was also illegal, but have you remembered when it reached its ATH? People changed their minds and started to learn it because of its price. This will really change people's minds when ATH gets it again.
1753  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I got money today on: March 28, 2023, 05:01:12 AM
Regardless, it all comes back to our own intentions. We can think of money as anything we want because it basically depends on where we look at it from.
We can consider them as a source of evil if we see it that way, on the other hand we will also see them as a source of blessing if indeed our thoughts are suggested there.
Money is just a tool even though its purpose is the same for wealth and as a legal tender but in another sense it depends on our own perspective whether we will consider them positive or negative.

OP just meant that those crimes were done because of the money, government officials got corrupted because of money, and others will try to manipulate others because of money. It means that it all comes from money, but if we look at the bright side, let's say we work hard for money, that's good, but on the dark side, its still about the money. No matter how we look at it, money is essential to us because we can't eat without it and we can't buy things without it, which is why others will do everything because of money.
1754  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 1$ per day crypto investment plan any good ? on: March 28, 2023, 03:02:01 AM
Thats a total of $365 in a year; this is better than telling yourself to invest on a monthly basis, but you ain't doing it. By the way, what cryptocurrency are you planning to invest in? Also, are you not going to get tired of depositing it on a daily basis? I think it is better to accumulate it over the month and then deposit it on a monthly basis because I am not sure of the fees on this and also not sure what platform you are using, as others won't accept if you are just depositing $1.
1755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I still believe I am on the right path on: March 28, 2023, 02:16:38 AM
This is also what i am telling to my self that if i bought bitcoin even around 2013 i wont be able to todays price because of temptation of my self to sell it off and i am sure i do have sleepless nights thinking of this. It is really best to mould your emotions first before jumping to an investment because your emotions is your first enemy about your investment in panic selling or other things comes up on your mind
1756  Economy / Economics / Re: Where do we go from here on: March 27, 2023, 03:54:15 PM
Most people will say that we should stop this, but right now, the status of AI is really progressive and unstoppable. Even Elon said in the interview that he is scared of AI and that the possibility that AI will get rid of us in the future is pretty high when they know everything, which he said is possible in the future but for sure we, the current generation, will not experience this; it will happen in the next few decades. This is really the future, as Elon stated, because, if we look on the bright side, AI will make our lives easy.
1757  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the government can really make a way to end poverty or it depends on us? on: March 27, 2023, 02:15:14 PM
Poverty is already on there before the war happened. It just make things worse. I think if the individual have a chance to make his financial better maybe it can end poverty. Plus the goverment is support their people by open jobs and make some regulations that benefit people.

Jobs and education really are the keys. I am just glad right now here in our country that there are a lot of projects here about roads to improve our economy as well as generate jobs for people, which is very helpful, and also with education, it is free tuition here, which means it can ease the burden on the parents. It doesn't mean that it will end poverty, but some of those families could improve their lives.
1758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does your country tax your gambling winnings? on: March 27, 2023, 01:27:08 PM
It is also tax-free here in our country because if you win the lottery here, you can claim the exact amount you won without any fees or taxes, but when you spend it on assets like land, a house, or a car, those will be subject to tax. I am also not sure why other countries are asking for tax on it; it is like you can't feel like you're winning because you thought you won that exact amount but not because tax still needs to be deducted.
1759  Economy / Economics / Re: Money and education on: March 27, 2023, 11:46:19 AM
When someone has a lot of money or is rich then he will pay attention to the importance of education, if he is young then he will go to school again to a higher level, or if he is old and has children or grandchildren then he will send his child to the best and highest education , with a good education it can make a bright future life.
one has to keep oneself very practical in any situation either you have lot of money or you are struggling with money.
At this end to dust we all will return - we will leave everything here and will leave for the eternal aboard. So one should stay humble in every situation.

That is why others will say that if you are not humble on this earth and only care about your money, you'll suffer in your next life. I was just confused about those rich people and why they are not humble (not all). I mean, most of the rich people I've known are mostly not good people, though they usually help. They always post on social media, but if you ask for help from them, they will mock you.
1760  Economy / Economics / Re: What's is daily budgets or expenses as a bitcoiner? on: March 27, 2023, 10:28:50 AM
I know everybody is not in a same class but still we all do budgeting, expenses and impulse. How much do spend a day? Do you think is possible to program your daily expenses?

Yes and it's very possible to plan a budget for daily expenses, as for me i don't do daily budget for my expenses but rather a plan on a monthly basis, this helps me to choose between the needs and wants  have for the month and designated a particular amount of money for the whole needs on my to do list and am done for the entire month, though i do have extra additional funds as miscellaneous for daily unforeseen circumstances.

Daily budgeting is time-consuming, and you should always plan out first what you will do in half a month or a month, depending on your salary. When I get my monthly salary, I plan out how much I will spend for the entire month, including the budget for my daily expenses, which sets a daily limit. Also, don't forget to have extra money on hand in case you get sick and need to buy medicines, etc.
