Well it only moved the price from 34 to 33, only two hours ago. The price didn't notice that
1763  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker on: February 28, 2013, 08:25:26 PM
Yup, while now it just moved the price from 34 to 32.8. And it went to 34 only like two hours ago.
1764  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker on: February 28, 2013, 08:18:51 PM
Back in our times a 600.000$ sell would bring bitcoin down to almost worthless. Today? Not even noticed  Cheesy

1766  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would it be possible to sign transactions offline and email them? on: February 28, 2013, 06:45:07 PM
Yes.

But why the email? Sending a transaction to the bitcoin network doesn't compromise your private key. If you are so paranoid, just do the transaction on a offline pc, copy it on an online pc and send it from there, why the email?

Anyway, you can for example copy-paste the transaction somewhere on the blockchain.info site and it will relay it to the bitcoin network. Sorry, i can't find the exact link of that feature right now.

I need to buy BTC but not at that price no way!
It is too late to buy them for 15$  Wink

Nah, mining isn't  exactly cheaper, maybe if you get an ASIC in the long term it will be profitable, but good luck getting an ASIC, everyone wants one. And then difficulty will skyrocket.
1771  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: if https://blockchain.info/wallet was shut down (FBI) could i get my BTC out on: February 28, 2013, 03:31:11 PM
Please note, blockchain.info and blockchain are two totally different things.
1772  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: if https://blockchain.info/wallet was shut down (FBI) could i get my BTC out on: February 28, 2013, 03:30:00 PM
If you backuped your wallet from blockchain.info then you are ok.

If you didn't and you totally relied on blockchain.info and you do not have the wallet on your computer/usb key/paper wallet, then you are fucked (and you deserve that, not having a backup of your wallet? fail)
1773  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unlocking the Potential: Women and Mobile Financial Services in Emerging Markets on: February 28, 2013, 02:49:37 PM
If women want to use bitcoin they do exactly what we did: google bitcoin, read the wiki, do their homework, learn how it works. Yes, it require EFFORTS. It is NOT easy. Work is required!!

Btw, bitcoin population is like 97% men and 3% women but no one is stopping women from using bitcoin. Then why this discrepancy? What is the feminists opinion? Are they too busy organizing feminist protests to learn how bitcoin work?
