1764  Other / Meta / Re: "Unhandled reports" on: August 13, 2019, 07:49:31 PM
Would be nice to go back in your report history so you can look about what posts unhandled and you can report them again ,
guess sometimes some of them just going under somewhere in nowhere and just forget.
I started archiving my report history since it's only a one-month retention period. I don't think we should be re-reporting posts, though. Some decisions, I disagree with, but by the time the report is handled there are thousands of new spam posts to report, so it's not worth the effort IMO.
1765  Other / Meta / Re: "Unhandled reports" on: August 13, 2019, 07:42:57 PM
Mods haven’t got time to explain why they’ve decided to leave a post as unhandled. Just shrug your shoulders & carry on reporting.
I have no qualms with a lack of explanation regarding unhandled reports. I merely want a separation between reports that have not been looked-at and reports that have been marked as unhandled.
I have ~3000 unhandled reports. I know that approximately ~1000 are truly unhandled... the other 2000 I have no idea.
1766  Other / Meta / "Unhandled reports" on: August 13, 2019, 07:34:35 PM
Unhandled reports are considered "soft-bad". Okay, no issue there.

But could we have a separate bin for pending reports and unhandled reports? Sometimes, I have literally no idea if a post I reported was left alone intentionally or is just still hovering in the queue.
Not a high-priority issue but having massive chunks of unhandled reports tells me that either the posts are fine, or that the moderator assigned to the section has yet to review it. At that point, I have no option other than to wait a few days to see if those kinds of posts are considered fine before reporting similar posts.
1767  Economy / Reputation / Re: Game-protect flag on: August 13, 2019, 05:50:34 PM
Unfortunately, your definitions do not fit the real-world definitions that are accepted by the majority of qualified real-world participants.

Therefore, your definition of mentally ill is null.
Therefore, your complaints about the bitcointalk flag system are null.

Therefore, this tautological self-referential system that you are using considers your responses as "opinions" and therefore false.
1768  Economy / Reputation / Re: Game-protect flag on: August 13, 2019, 05:41:44 PM
Real world definitions are defined by the majority of qualified real world participants and not by singular entities!

Extremely mentally ill bitcointalk accounts are not authorized to contribute to real world definitions! Grin
Well, since there is a majority of users who supported the flag against you, you seem to fit the definition of a high-risk individual. Moreover, since real world definitions have to be self-referential, either you are right and 60+ users are "mentally-ill" or you are wrong.

I will apply Occam's razor in this scenario and avoid your 'no true scotsman' fallacious circular reasoning.
1769  Economy / Reputation / Re: Game-protect flag on: August 13, 2019, 05:21:47 PM
In the real world "believing is not knowing" is an answer to the question what constitutes as a real-world definition/fact! Cheesy
It seems that your definition of "real-world definition" is what you personally deem is accurate.
Thus, if we want to consider it from a global perspective, your system of beliefs is not pragmatically relevant to users other than yourself henceforth reducing its usability to that of irrelevance.
1770  Economy / Reputation / Re: Game-protect flag on: August 13, 2019, 05:17:07 PM
What constitutes as a real-world definition/fact?
Believe means not knowing.
That is not an answer to my question. Stay relevant.

Why choose one definition over the other? How do you determine real-world definitions and real-world facts?
1771  Other / Meta / Re: Stake your Bitcoin address here on: August 13, 2019, 05:11:44 PM
-snip-

Copy/paste the message, address & signature from Electrum in a format like this:

Code:
-----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Message here
-----BEGIN SIGNATURE-----
Address here
Signature here
-----END BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----

How to sign a message?!
In case they don't have Electrum, which I would assume they don't when they appear to be using Blockchain's online wallet.
1772  Economy / Reputation / Re: Game-protect flag on: August 13, 2019, 05:10:02 PM
Howvwer, when Game Protect speaks, it always refers to real world definitions and facts.
You're even talking aloud to your computer screen. Alright.
What constitutes as a real-world definition/fact? Why is the Oxford English Dictionary the end-all when it comes to definitions? We even have multiple possibilities within the definition thereof.

Does def. 1 mean that we don't have proof? Why bother to have the word especially then? A high probability of an event is not certainty, just expecting the sun to rise in the morning.
In def. 2, what does the term "opinion" mean?
1773  Economy / Reputation / Re: Game-protect flag on: August 13, 2019, 04:42:37 PM
He literally made up the definition lol

What has become of you GP
Those definitions are in the OED apparently.
1774  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FortuneJack - account and withdrawal suspended on: August 13, 2019, 04:29:49 PM
I have never had Bitcoins so the OP offered me exchange USD to BTC.
I signed up on FortuneJack via proxy, verified my account (e-mail and phone number).
Are you by chance a US resident? IIRC, players from the region are disallowed from playing in many ToS's.
1775  Economy / Reputation / Re: Game-protect flag on: August 13, 2019, 04:22:59 PM
It's almost as if there are multiple definitions for words. Roll Eyes
But wait... how do we know that the forum is specifically using the definition you provided? After all, if your idea that belief |=| opinion then 1 and 2 would be contradictory.

But of course, established definitions vary between people and languages. If we really want to get into deep philosophy and epistemological constructs, we all speak different languages. Smiley
1776  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Spammer Blacklist] The Shitlist on: August 12, 2019, 07:30:51 PM
What!
~2500 and last two days?
Are you a reporting version of LoyceBot? :-P
@ 20/page for lots of low-quality users, it's only 125 pages of spam. Some users carry up to 5 pages worth of spam posts.
Here's the updated list of all users that I have had at least 5 good reports against.

1777  Other / Meta / Re: [FARM SUPPRESSION] Clearing the Horde of Spammers on: August 12, 2019, 06:26:44 PM
If you don't think of it as posting but, instead think of it as typing out a conversation it seems much easier to hit 3 campaigns @ 25 or 30 posts a week.
Or a little more then 1 post per account per hour for a 8 hour day 3 days a week. Sitting at home on your couch. Not going to be "rich" but if all 3 are @ .0125 week you are at over $20k for part time work.
Not great not terrible.
After flooding my eyes with scores upon scores of these inane posts, I can certainly agree with you.

A smart account farmer would create a hierarchy of "intelligence" between their accounts. Set aside some accounts to act ignorant and ask stupid questions or make uninformed remarks and then respond to them with your "smarter" accounts. This guarantees at least 3 posts with user A asking the question, B responding and A reaffirming the answer (or potentially continuing with pretend-ignorance).
You could easily feign conversations and have all your accounts accompany one another in the same threads, lowering the amount of time for searching through viable threads of meaningless discussion.

Trivia: from July 13 to today, we have a total of 16790 reports. The holistic count would be 21369. Today's total is at 1490 (currently) with 1461 unhandled reports (pending or otherwise). Smiley
1778  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Orvels "1984" closer than ever? on: August 12, 2019, 06:09:09 PM
I posted the thread somewhere else, apparently it did not fit there and it was moved here.
After that I noticed that I am unable to post on other serious discussion threads, I suppose that means that this thread is ' special' .

Frustrating tough that cant post on other threads yet.
I believe it is because Jr. Members and above are able to access Serious discussion, but you were given authorization to this thread because you are the creator thereof. 3 more activity and you'll have full access.
1779  Other / Meta / Re: Why Am I only seeing "0" From this guy's post on: August 12, 2019, 05:05:39 PM
Probably a hacked or troll account just visit his/her post history and 1-6 page are all edited with 0 post, whether a reply or an OP itself.

[Edited] Posts above explained while I'm typing.
Lol, it is especially ironic that you are calling an unnamed person cited in the OP as being a troll when the unnamed person is you
