1781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terrence Crawford vs Errol Spence - July 29 on: July 15, 2023, 10:34:41 PM

There is none of a single doubt about the hype between these two can create and that they can surpass the blockbuster hit that Davis and Garcia did in the previous months. I mean, it is given already knowing how Al Haymon kept the right to organize it even if there is already other organizers that wanted to give them those guaranteed money, he know that the revenue in this fight will be much bigger than what is anticipated that is why he didn't gave up those rights because he knew probably at that time that sooner or later, the path of Crawford and Spence will soon cross.

Now everything is almost on his hands. A few more weeks and we will see the fight to happen.

And the good catch here for Al Haymon is the rematch claw that can bring another huge profit. Whatever happened to
this upcoming fight, the chance of a seeing them again is possible.

More money for everyone knowing how the fans will react and how it will be hypes. Socmed is too wide in helping
this match to create viewers and gamblers supports.

Hope we get a good trilogy out of this one.  Although I don't think he will lose, I kinda hope we get a 1-1 situation with a rubber match to take the belts for good.  Haven't laid in a bet yet waiting until we get closer to see if the line swings, but I'm going Crawford KO in about the 8th/9th round.

I can only see a rematch on the horizon if Crawford will come out as the winner of this fight because he tends to be more open for more negotiations in the future, but if it's Errol Spence who will have the undisputed title, I really doubt that they will agree with a rematch even though there is a clause written on their contract. I don't know what they will do about it, but I surely know that they can find some way if they are not that inclined to make it happen.
1782  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: July 15, 2023, 09:59:22 PM
I just read that Ngannou's fight purse against Tyson Fury is around $8 Million which is similar to what UFC offered him to defend his title against Jon Jones. Huge leap from his last fight which reported to be around $600K so kudos for a getting a great deal even after all the fallout.
Maybe that is $8 Million but without pay-per-view and that is going to be few more millions on top of that.
I dont believe Dana junky would ever give Ngannou that much money, but he left UFC for different reasons, not just about money.

Ngannou made the right decision leaving UFC, now with this fight, it's confirmed that he will get double the amount of what he earned in his 14 fights stint in UFC.

Quote
Francis Ngannou earned just shy of £3m during a 14-fight stint with the UFC
Estimates suggest that he will earn more than £6m for the October 28 clash

REVEALED: Francis Ngannou is set to 'earn more money in one night against Tyson Fury' in Saudi Arabia 'than he did in his entire 14-fight UFC career'

The amount is very attractive and it's a precedent for popular MMA fighters to do crossover. I guess it's time for UFC to upgrade their fighters' salaries because boxing is still a more profitable venue for fighters.

And who knows if Ngannou performs better here he will earn more in succeeding boxing matches.

He could've made the same money if he agreed and defended his title of being the heavyweight champion against Jon Jones because that fight is also a whopping $8 Million, but for some reasons, that fight did not materialize as both camps including Dana White didn't agree on something to make the fight into a reality.

Some sources say that Ngannou's camp is not interested to a cross-promotion fight that is why the fight did not happen but their camp is always welcome to start another negotiation after Ngannou's professional boxing bout against Tyson Fury in Saudi Arabia. But hopefully, that $8 Million will remain as is because Ngannou will not extend their hand if that amount will be smaller in the following months.
1783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight (july15,2023 on: July 15, 2023, 09:22:14 PM
But before all of that, let's see what Donaire can offer to us once he steps foot in the ring again. It will be a good fight knowing how Donaire wanted a full packed confrontation type of fight, unless if Santiago decides to be the opposite. That will be huge disappointment for sure.

Regarding about that, we all know that Donaire will try to take advantage the opportunity while he got the upper hand in this fight and will try to engage in a toe-to-toe fight in the early rounds, but I don't think that Santiago is inclined to do the same thing and will keep up with the phase to cath up with Donaire. I think he will start slow and might be in a defensive mode for a good 5 rounds until he can notice that Donaire is losing his speed.
1784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 15, 2023, 08:13:50 PM
Stephen Curry just hit a hole in one on live TV during a golf tournament. This guy is living the dream man… I’m guessing that’s going to go down as one of his all time favorite sports moments, which is crazy when you consider that he’s an MVP and NBA champion. You can catch the clip on twitter everywhere in a couple minutes I’m sure.

Yes, I saw that one. The man is indeed really gifted and no doubt that his skills are solely not for basketball use only because we can see that even in golf, he is still doing his magic and it seems that he is quite interested in playing golf nowadays because we can see him frequently in the field rather than in court this summer.

Yesterday, Stephen Curry led the Celebrity Golf Tournament in Tahoe and made a wild putt after doing his signature move in basketball.
1785  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: risk nothing, you're risking more on: July 13, 2023, 09:59:49 PM
since 2018 which is over 5 years when I got information about Bitcoin I have lost lots of opportunity that could have changed my life because I choose to be reluctant from concrete friends advise concerning Bitcoin because, through investment of cyptocurrency many of my pals have been scammed  and the downtrend movement in 2018 also got me discouraged so i concluded that Bitcoin was not worth the risk for me, and
now I have come to regret from the discission i made due to ignorance because over the years it progress has really attracted my attention, so i met a friend who is now i successful investor and he introduced me to this platform

seeing the success, growth and progress of the platform, I want to personally appreciate the members from legendary to newbies like me for keeping this platform running and going

1786  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you prefer to own a luxury watch or invest in bitcoin or other assets? on: July 13, 2023, 09:45:02 PM
I’ll go straight investing with bitcoin. The profits are more stable and promising, unlike investing into luxury watches or even bags, you will only spend a lot of money but you can never expect good amount of returns. It’s a good thing if you actually do it for passion and collection, but if it’s for a business, I don’t think it will work.
1787  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beginners Should Follow These To Be A Good Price Predictor on: July 13, 2023, 09:15:19 PM
A person cannot become a good predictor even after following all the steps unless he can change himself. So it is not a guarantee that following all the steps will make a good predictor. Self-discipline can make a person successful everywhere, so it is important to be a self-disciplined person to be a good trader, good predictor. Nice try OP, now it's a matter of seeing how one thinks and uses these things.
Price prediction is hard especially to a very volatile and unpredictable market like crypto. You may predict it correctly this time, but in the next days, you need to do a lot of analysis so you can foresee the price again, otherwise you will trade at a wrong timing. However, it’s not just good price prediction that matters, but also how you handle your risk management in trading, and how your behavior and attitudes are when you are trying to trade at a very unpredictable market.
1788  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin according to Satoshi is digital money then why call it investment. on: July 13, 2023, 08:59:36 PM
Bitcoin will always be an investment because of its limitless value. As long as bitcoin price is not fixed, and it creates more chances of price increase, then it will always be an asset or an investment. However, we can always use bitcoin as a digital money once it’s used as a payment mode, or an investment once people prefer to keep it and expect good store of value. Whatever it is, that fact that people are still in profits with bitcoin, bitcoin will always be a forum of business or investment.
1789  Economy / Economics / Re: I don't believe you on: July 13, 2023, 07:49:22 PM
You don't know the owner, but what makes you sure to deposit bitcoin to exchange?.

what makes you sure that your Bitcoin arrived safely and was not taken away by the owner?

I always thought that,
same as banks, I don't want to save it for long time, because banks often go bankrupt, and the owner run overseas.
The fact that you start to deposit your bitcoin into another wallet, then the security is not the same. Your bitcoin is no longer your own property anymore the moment a third party start to access it. Hence, it’s safety can never be determined anymore. Today it might be safe, but the next day might not be the same. That’s why using centralized exchange is discouraged, but what else can we do but to take some risk and use them everytime there is a need to trade and make high returns.
1790  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Before contributing, learn from others as a newbie on: July 12, 2023, 09:57:54 PM
Yes. Newbies should learn from the experience of others, most especially from legendary positions in the forum as they have more useful experiences that newbies will certainly benefit from them. And the fact that newbies need more help and guidance from their superiors, then they should never do things that will only create consequences of their actions, unless if those will make them learn and correct their mistakes in the future. But still, regardless if they have gained their own experiences in the market, it’s still best to ask some assistance from those who have been here in the market for long because for sure they have more valuable experiences than them.
1791  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Motivating gambling addicts to invest in bitcoins. on: July 12, 2023, 09:33:07 PM
Gambling and investing are quite different things. While you can always lose in gambling and expect some instant wins, but with investing, you can always avoid yourself from losing as long as you know the potential coins to invest and how to make significant profits from them. Patience is the most important key when investing, which I think gamblers don’t settle on that seeing the fact that they don’t want to delay their profits and just want to be more lucky everytime they gamble so they can always win exceptional and huge profits.
1792  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The green shouldn't always be the reason to enter the market on: July 12, 2023, 08:59:04 PM
Only experienced investors know that as newbies could easily fall from entering in the green market and expect even more that prices will be more promising in the next days and months. One reason why most investors fail and end up quitting because they enter at a wrong time. However, there’s no problem if you enter at a green market considering that you’ll invest bitcoin and make it as your long term investment. That way, you will still be profitable if you can patiently manage hodling it for long and only sell whenever there are chances to sell at higher prices.
1793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: July 10, 2023, 03:00:03 PM
A few days before the fight and Nonito is showing confidence in this fight I just stumble this image in social media, I doubt if Santiago possesses the power of Inoue with only 40% knock out of his record, if he cannot hurt Donaire and he has a very good skill, Donaire could bring home the crown.

Quote

Well, I cannot even deny that claims by the former champion because Nonito Donaire was just spitting some simple and understandable facts as there is no way that he will be defeated in this fight because Santiago doesn't have his strength nor Inoue's. In line to that, his chances to win are much more higher even if it is not a guaranteed and let's just get back to basics, Donaire will not pick Santiago if he knew that he will have a hard time fighting for that crown. He knew that his age will be a factor and right now, his goal is to be a champion first, nothing else.
1794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 10, 2023, 06:53:52 AM
Anyone seen the much touted Jaron "Boots" Ennis this weekend against Roiman Villa? He won by a 10 round stoppage, and later it was found out that Villa suffered a broken nose. For sure we have heard his name as he is the rising star at 147 lbs and said to be the next champion and his name have been put into the discussions against Spence and Crawford.

So the hype is real, maybe him and WBA 'regular' champion Eimantas Stanionis will be a perfect match as both have been rank high in the stacked division. And as reported, Stanionis fight with Ortiz was cancelled.

Here is the KO: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rJZbtrut1sw

Thanks for sharing the video mate, seeing the KO made me remember that Boots Ennis was touted to be the next Crawford because of his vicious power and is not afraid to eat punches, and even maybe stronger because Ennis is more swift as far as I can tell. Unfortunately, because the division is quite stacked and the champions just have negotiated for the fight, it made the interim champs like Stanionis and Ennis wait for quite some time.

Also, Eimantas Stanionis have been ordered by the WBA to be the mandatory challenger to the winner of Errol Spence Jr. vs Terence Crawford.
1795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terrence Crawford vs Errol Spence - July 29 on: July 10, 2023, 06:14:34 AM
As far as Eimantas Stanionis he has been waiting for this fight for years, he had a scheduled fight last night but was cancelled because Vergil Ortiz is deems unfit to fight. So I doubt that he will go directly to the winner of Spence vs Crawford, he needs a tune up fight first.

In that case, Stanionis should find be a dancing partner as soon as possible to keep him warm because he is getting cold in the ring for waiting against Vergil Ortiz and in the end the fight did not materialized because of the said factor mentioned by you above.

He should find that and make a tune-up fight because he now have the green light to fight the winner of Crawford-Spence fight and after that, hopefully Boots Ennis will have his own mandatory fight too as he also waited for his shot.
1796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: July 09, 2023, 09:08:20 PM
Mane going to Saudi Arabia "might" be a little to early, he could still play a few more seasons, majority of the players that went to Saudi Arabia has been young, there are only few players who got paid a lot of money and were still young, I guess most players who got paid those 50-100+ million per year contracts were old, Mane is not that old yet, he still has talent.

However, when you offer someone 100+ million a year, I can't really say who could say no to that, it might look like you are retiring if you agree to that, but at the same time we are talking about 100+ here, you could literally retire. What could he get per year, 20 million at most? For how long? Maybe 1-2 more seasons? With 100 million for just one year, he could make more than his entire career from this point forward.

Hm, I haven't heard any rumours that Mane might move to Saudi Arabia, it hasn't even been suggested, on the contrary, there are now suspicions that he will move to Chelsea. The English were in talks with Bayern in May about it, but since then nothing more is known, so maybe he will stay in Germany at all. Even if one considers the move to Saudi Arabia in theory it is strange, he is playing at a high level and could certainly do so for a few more years

To end this speculation, here's what Mane's manager said: Sadio Mane’s manager denies rumored move to Saudi Arabia

It has been said that Chelsea wasn't on their options either but Mane's transfer is already rumored because Bayern might not able to allocate all the forwards in the team because they are on the hunt and the thing is, Mane's camp aren't even denying that. So, it did seems that it will all happen this summer. Meanwhile, Manchester United remains steadfast and shows their interest to acquire Mane.

1797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: July 09, 2023, 08:39:37 PM
But I don't think FIFA is not nursing such ideas because there has been no such announcement from the organization and no reputable sports media house has reported such a move.

You don't have to think my friend because the FIFA is indeed not thinking of materializing any of these ideas where they will change the schedule, I don't know where did this rumor or speculation came from but it is safe to say that it's somehow a fake news and that the FIFA calendar will remain as it is for a couple of years or maybe even decades.

I tried to looked it up in the internet for me to see if these speculations were true or not but I did not find anything related to it or at least with similar topics.
1798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Olympic Games, but doping is allowed?! on: July 09, 2023, 06:40:17 PM
the president of "the Enhanced Games" believes that this competition could unlock the athlete's true potential and will obliterate all the world record that has been set in the Olympic games. from what I have read in an article, they are planning on launching this event next year in December.
Lol, the world at its wildest version... True potential is what you can do without any damaging drugs on your body, valuing your health at first place. What is the point of using heavy drugs to boost your performance on the currently moment, but dying from a heart attack, overdose or aneurysm on yout 20's or 30's? What this president of "Enhanced Games" said sounds really sadistic to me.

I see why it was called an Enhanced Games in the first place because the players will be allowed to use PEDs and other substance to enhance whatever needed in a player's body and whatever sport would it be used. As far as I can tell, it's kind of funny by the way because I never thought that there would be a plan like this and truth to be told, the president was probably so doped that he thought of this kind of format.
1799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: July 09, 2023, 06:18:21 PM
However, if you are just looking for the underdog bet, regardless on who will it be or what fight it is then Santiago ML will be enough, just saying.
That's suicidal thinking. Knowing Donaire, I'm sure he still has a lot to offer and can dominate the division. Santiago may be younger, but he doesn't possess the skills and experience that Donaire has. If we're just after attractive odds, we should consider going for a KO per round range bet, as most of the time the odds are higher than +200.

In my sportsbook, Alejandro Santiago's odds are 2.31x and if you're inclined for some adventure in your bets like betting towards the underdog then that would be the line for you as Donaire's line are much lower ranging from 1.5x - 1.7x. Besides, I agree that it would be beneficial for us bettors because I don't think that an upset is going to happen in this fight, I know that it is not a guaranteed win but Donaire's chances are much greater compared to his foe.
1800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 09, 2023, 05:30:31 PM
And for this Ben Simmons, when he was still in Philly, he signed a massive 5-year deal worth $177 Million and by now, he already have 2 seasons left to play and with what he is acting recently, I don't think that there would be any team in the league right now that will get him from the free agency and sign with him.

Ben Simmons had a lot of potential a couple of seasons ago, but it's clearly gone now. In fact, he ruined his career in the NBA by doing those ill-considered things himself. Honestly, I'm also inclined to think that once his current contract expires, he'll likely either end his NBA career or he'll only be able to hope for a minimum contract.

It's all his fault if no teams are going to pick him up in the next coming seasons. I do agree that he was one of those young talents in the league early as he was even compare to Lebron. But damn, he can't should the ball at the free throw lines, that should be basic for any player. And then he lost confidence as he just opted to pass because he was afraid that he will be fouled and get to the FT line to shot and missed. Then he acted diva with Philly, shipped to the Nets and didn't play that good either. So yeah, after his contract and all that money, he could be gone for good from NBA.

All players have their own ups and downs through their careers but that didn't stop them to improve and be a better player in the upcoming seasons, but this Ben Simmons right here, he didn't overcame his errors and instead, he chose to behave like a child just and made some false statements regarding about his health just because he doesn't want his teammates especially Embiid.

At that time, Philly gave him plenty of chances but he chose to neglect it and it was his own fault now why he is treated like this because no team in the league wanted him because he will just be a liability instead of being an asset.
