premier league promoted nottingham forest has signed another left-back. from spanish club atletico madrid comes the brazilian Renan Lodi, who was recently still criticized by coach Diego Simeone. the 15-time international has some international experience and is on loan for one year.
Good one from Nottingham Forest the club has an option and backup in all the areas of the team, injury to their first team left-back a perfect replacement in Renan Lodi is already available and each of the position will be very competitive, thus no room for any complacency by any of the players, Steve Cooper their manager doesn't want to have any excuses afterall the club board had provided all the needed funds to buy or get players on loan, the club having worked hard to gain promotion to the elite league  wouldn't want to get relegated in their first season are now in 14th position on the table.

Breaking news

If you follow fabrizio Romano on YouTube or in other social media handles, you will hear a great news that he announced few minutes ago.

The news is Anthony is finally a Manchester United player. He has agreed a deal of 100 million euros. Ths is a good news for Manchester United, it can also be a sad news for Cristiano Ronaldo and some other of Manchester united players because there will be a great shift in place of people playing. We know that Antonio plays with high energy and he likes pressing football and that is what Eric Ten Hag likes.
If Anthony is the perfect signing that will strengthen the club attacking-wise it's a welcome development irrespective of whether his arrival will lead to the departure of some old players, what matter most is for Erik Ten Hag to deploy his tactics and formations to win matches for Man Utd, I read so much hype about Anthony in Ajax, I hope he live up to expectations because of the his huge sign-on fee, which I believe is overpriced even more expensive than Halaand who is more experience as well as a very good striker, I think Man Utd is synonymous with overpricing new players which isn't fair, they could have bought Aleksandar Mitrovic with a less fee.
1783  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can One Actually Do Crypto Trading As A Living? on: August 28, 2022, 07:25:39 PM
As many user already pointed out. Market volatility makes crypto trading almost a gambling which means you can’t get a consistent trading result unless you have an insider trading info because the market can be easily manipulated by news or fud in social media that usually invalidate all the TA for that particular time. You can’t make a consistent profit on this kind of market no matter how good you are on trading because the risk involved is too high with just a one huge price swing against your position even if you are just using spot trading.
Honestly to achieve success and become profitable in trading, such a trader must be well grounded in TA and fundamental analysis, for instance I was in a crypto trade on Friday which was already in profit, I wasn't aware that there will be a big news "Fed Chair Powell Speaks" at the exact hour he spoke almost 99% of crypto/USDT pairs reverses and dumped massively with high volatility, another obstacle hindering crypto traders is price manipulations, thus it's a lot of efforts, knowledge and skills to be profitable in crypto trading as well as depend on it for a living, personally I prefer forex trading whose volatility is moderate except during a RED news announcement that always increases price volatility.

I feel sorry for Bournemouth for suffering from that onslaught. That game will be replayed over and over to highlight Liverpool's best performances hehe. Winning by nine goals or one goal margin is still three points but that improved their goal difference and that could be crucial at the end of the season.

A good day for all the big clubs that already played for match week 4 overall.

Liverpool humiliated Bournemouth yesterday, their performance was very nice yesterday, I don't really believe they can score 9 goals against Bournemouth yesterday, I hope Liverpool continues like this since their performance in the last three matches was very poor, atleast they will be able to recover their lost points. Liverpool next match is against Everton I hope they will perform well just they way they played yesterday.

Liverpool had 12 shots on goal 9 went in that is an incredible statistics against poor Bournemouth, unbelievable that Salah wasn't on the score sheet, I think Bournemouth tactics was based on their defenders to concentrate more efforts on marking him (Salah) down unfortunately freed some space for other attackers to score all the goals, Scott Parker has to work on his team to up their game else they may battle relegation, there is still room for improvement after a successive defeats against top teams Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool respectively after their first game win against Aston Villa, they will play Leeds Utd and Everton an opportunity to redeem their image.
1785  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 28, 2022, 11:31:47 AM
Son Heung-min was outstanding last season for Tottenham but I don't think he will stand a chance  for the Ballon d'Or  against top favorites like Benzema and Lewandowski whose performances last season was far above that of Son. I hope the selection of the best candidate to win the Ballon d'Or will be done without bias unlike the previous one given to Messi when Lewandowski deserved it more. Benzema deserves to win the Ballon d'Or this time around.
It's obvious Benzema achievement and performance for Real Madrid outweighs that of Son in Tottenham thus anything short of not awarding the Ballon d'Or to Benzema is questionable and biased, I hope last year shortcomings with regards to awarding it to Messi instead of Lewandowski wouldn't happen this time around, though I am not undermining the performance of Son for his club but achievement or role of individual player to the success of the club matter most, Benzema singlehandedly took Real Madrid to UCL finals and help the club to win the coveted trophy by scoring crucial goals include winning Laliga trophy.

Mikel Arteta brings back the long-missed old Arsenal. They have started this season great. Reiss Nelson's injury continues. Apart from that, they will play the full squad for this game.

Aleksandar Mitrovic has a rising performance in Fulham. He scored goals that gave his team points in Liverpool and Brentford games. Arsenal's defense must play carefully against him today. Aleksandar Mitrovic will be the biggest danger for Arsenal.

The odds for an Arsenal win are worth the risk. I think this bet has a satisfactory odds. I hope to turn my long-standing bad luck with this match. I hope I won't be disappointed.
Mikel Arteta is the right man for Arsenal, in my opinion he is the upgrade of Arsene Wenger. Arsenal have had three wins in three games, they are getting results, that's enough confidence boost for them. It shows in their game and how they move with the ball. Even if Arsenal doesn't win any silverware this season, the future looks bright with Mikel Arteta.
It's now 4 wins in 4 matches and 100% record, Arsenal came from behind to snatch a deserve win against Fulham, the gunners took most of the possestions outplayed the visitors, while Odegard was brilliant and top class today, Nketiah came on to add some bite to their attack with pace and skills, Ramsdale and Leno the former Arsenal goalkeeper both made some brilliant and crucial saves to deny both teams it's quite an entertaining match from the start to finish, I think Arsenal of the old is gradually coming back, Arteta had been doing a great job in rebuilding the team I hope they continue and come consistent with their winning streaks and aim for top 4 spot at the end of the season.

I also play with 15 btc on dices sites when it was low so? i am not depressed by that.
it's happened. I didn't expect it to skyrocket to 50k.
there are more ways to make money than Crypto
I have passed more than 5 years on crypto at the beginning i also have found some dice roll site ans few gambling as well but i didn't play those game cause i got in mind that bitcoin has a value in future. Now really its have a real value which has changed my whole life. I think it was my luck that i did hold it.
I also threw away some decent bitcoin on dice gambling when I was newly into crypto, I think it was Yobit exchange where a gambler can role a dice to win some coins, blindly and sadly I was gambling away with some valuable amount of bitcoin hoping to win big unfortunately lost some decent coins, it's unfortunate the OP that had passed through some appalling condition now regreting which actually beyond his control, if majorities of early adopters of bitcoin knew it value is going to skyrocketed later none of them would have sold their coins, the buyer of pizza wouldn't throw away his bitcoin for a cheap thing, please move on "when there is life there is hope".

For now, I think United will focus more on winning points. they tried to score an extra goal but it looks like Southampton did have a pretty good game. it's not easy for United to score again, their efforts by Ronaldo and Casemiro to add to the advantage seem very difficult. in the second half, Southampton appeared more aggressive. they created more chances than in the first half.
The inclusion of Casemiro and Ronaldo has not fully provided a good show. It was Casemiro debut at Man United but Southampton had more aggressiveness and a strong defense. Even throughout the second half, there were not many attacks that Man United built into the Southampton defense. Finally, the score ended 0-1 for Man United, I believe this score has not fully satisfied the fans.
Southampton were the better team but because of lack of sharp attack and cutting edge they couldn't capitalize on their chances and were very unlucky, they deserve a draw, while Man Utd score the much needed goal to earn their three points, making it two wins in row, kudos to their back four Martinez who capped player of the match, Varane, Dalot and Malacia without Maguire the team is becoming stronger at the defence, however their big test comes next week when they play an in-form Arsenal that match will determine how well they have resursistated by Erik Ten Hag.

Arsenal game with Fulham on Saturday will be Arteta's 100th game as their manager and tbh when he started, critics believed he'd be dropped by the board but he's proven to be exceptional and I believe he'd lead the Gunners to carrying titles.
The game would be a walk over for them and although Fulham have been impressive in last games, they would find it difficult to beat Arsenal.
A phenomenal feat for Mikel Arteta as a manager, sweeter for him because Arsenal is also a club he played some of his best football in, so doing it both as a player and a manager adds the spice to it, so congratulations to Arteta. Well, quite a lot of people thought he wouldn't make it out of last season as Arsenal manager, especially during the first months of the season when Arsenal were pretty bad and sitting in the bottom half of the table, he was able to rescue the team, and if not for their capitulation in the final 3 games, they should be playing champions league football this season.

Having said that, Fulham aren't going to be an easy test, mind you that they (Fulham) have started very well this season, they drew with Liverpool in their first game of the season, they also have a very brilliant striker in Aleksandar Mitrovic, and i am pretty sure he is going to give the Arsenal defenders a really tough time. Don't get me wrong, of course Arsenal are the favorites to win, but Fulham are not going down without a fight, remember the smaller teams this season are giving the bigger teams a good run for their money, Leeds beat Chelsea, City had to struggle to get a draw with Newcastle, Palace and Fulham drew with Liverpool, Brighton and Brentford beat Manchester United, so it could be that season this time around were smaller teams don't back down, but fight.
The game against Fulham wouldn't be an easy one at all, we all that. Fulham will definitely give in their best in the game with hopes to secure even if a point against Arsenal. They have been impressive since the start of the season and Mitrovic their star man also in good form will be hoping to secure atleast a point for his team in the fourth round. Arsenal on the other hand will be looking to extend their einning streak to 4 games with a win at home against Fulham. It will be a very competitive game and I can't wait to see the outcome of the game.
Arsenal welcome Bernd Leno to emirate as Fulham goalkeeper, though that wouldn't stop the gunners from picking their three points, their new signings is already yielding positive results and look unstoppable going by Gabriel Jesus sparkling form, I don't think Fulham will be a threat to the home team at the Emirates, I am expecting a win by the gunner to continue with their 100% record from the beginning of the season, they should watch out for Mitrovic Fulham danger man, however I am expecting the duo of Gabriel and William Saliba to mark him and disallow him space.

Arsenal midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga, 22, may be loaned to Roma according to a news report, Jose Mourinho in a bid to beef up his club midfield after Wijnaldum was injured resorted to sign the Arsenal player, recall last season Maitland-Niles was also loaned to Roma it's like Jose Mourinho is interested in signing Arsenal young midfielders on loan, I believe Lokonga will accept the offer else I don't think there is any space for his breakthrough into Arsenal first team going by the recent signings of new midfielders and with Thomas Partey, Xhaka, Viera and Elneny holding that position it's becomes difficult for Lokonga to get into first team.
1791  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The first physical business that accepts Bitcoin payments in my area. on: August 26, 2022, 02:20:22 PM
Didn't Nigeria put some sort of ban on bitcoins and then users bank accounts were getting frozen because they interacted with crypto currencies or something? How is the owner going to convert his funds to fiat cash or is he planning to hold them forever or wait until the bank gets lifted (which in this case he will have problems explaining the source of his funds, but I doubt they will care for small sum of money)? Anyways, good to see more physical shops willing to accept bitcoin.
It's absolutely true that Nigerian government had ban crypto related transactions, however majority of crypto users/traders resorted to P2P transactions mostly using Binance, where a crypto can sold in exchange for a fiat, however the buyer of the coin MUSTN'T make a remark that the transaction is crypto related else such a transaction will be marked for questioning by the owner with that transactions worth millions of dollars is made anonymously without government bank awareness to avoid clamp down and freezing of accounts thus a shop can accept bitcoin for business.
1792  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Qualifying 4/08/22 on: August 26, 2022, 02:05:18 PM

Very diverse group composition. Some look like Champions League groups (judging by the first two teams as group A), and some (like group D) look like the Conference League. Assuming that everyone will play with the same motivation, the outcomes of many groups are quite easy to predict, but as we saw last season, the teams play randomly, so I would rather bet on the underdogs than on the favorites in the group stage. I mean not the result of the group but individual games.
Group A is an easy group for Arsenal I think PSV Eindhoven is another good club expected to qualify with Arsenal other clubs Bodo/Glimt and FC Zurich are minnows can't compete with those two top clubs, Man Utd  got an easy draw also with Real Sociedad as the formidable opponent in Group E, FC Sheriff and Omonia Nicosia are not strong enough to scale through that group though recall FC Sheriff created an upset in 2021 UCL when they defeated Real Madrid, however I don't think they can repeat such a feat again.
In group C I think Roma and Real Betis will qualify whereas other groups is open for any of the clubs to qualify.

Dele Alli, a midfielder for Everton, has signed a loan deal with Besiktas in Turkey for the balance of the 2022–23 campaign. The 26-year-old transferred from Tottenham to Everton in February and made 11 appearances for the Goodison Park team in the previous campaign, starting one of them.

This season, he has appeared in two games for the Toffees as a substitute in losses to Chelsea and Aston Villa.
Dele Alli was once a young talented player with a very promising future with the likes of Lingard, he performed brilliantly well for his former club, his movement to Besiktas is a welcome development, I believe he will be a regular player in his new club maybe he might pick up form and return to his very best and promptly return to EPL in no too distant future, it's unfortunate that Everton has to.release him with no contribution to the team in last season and this season, I think he still has a lot to offer in his new club
1794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Qualifying on: August 25, 2022, 07:31:42 PM
The groups have been drawn in the Champions League:
Honestly I don't see any "group of death". But Group B might be the most complicated one anyway. Even the fourth seeded team which are Club Brugge can get surprising results in the matches. It is very difficult to predict which teams would qualify for next round.

You didn't notice any death groups. I beg to differ. what of group C. I can't fathom what Hell it would be like if Barcelona and Bayern Munich drew in the group stage, these are two strong teams that wouldn't sit and be eliminated. Will Inter Milan want to abandon that group as well? Only time will tell, but I'll make sure to attend this group's match from my whitelist.
Apart from Juventus, who will be difficult in group H, I don't think the rest of the squad should stand in the way of PSG reaching the group of 16, or else Messi will want to play for another team the next season.
Grout C is group of death, probably some soccer analysts and pundits had underated Inter Milan thus picked Barcelona and Bayern Munich ahead of Inter which shouldn't be, Inter had a solid team that will match any of the other teams, Barcelona is not longer formidable like before thus I rated them as an Average team, though Bayern is a bit stronger, however all the group matches will be keenly contested with a upset from the undergo club in the group, Bayern will top the group while both Barcelona and Inter Milan will slug it out for the group runner up

Newcastle owned by arabian price which is very well known as a guy who has unlimited money. I would not be surprised to see that newcastle will be bought some players with fantastic transfer. Newcastle must have learned from match against city.
Saint maxim is very good winger but since newcastle didn't have good attacker or striker and then it must be a bit difficult to scorer more goal. This transfer will be done easily as real sociedad can't even deny such huge offer for alexander isak.
Newcastle may become another manchester city.
For Newcastle with large capital and taking advantage of the transfer market is not foreign. Because this is an opportunity for them to take a good step at the start of the season. Moreover, seeing their current improved performance plus plans to buy expensive players will be comparable. Watch out for the English giants, Newcastle today can be much more aggressive than last season.
In not too distant future Newcastle will catch up with the top clubs in terms of spendings on sign-on fees for their new players, the Arabs who are club owners do spend huge money to buy players, example PSG and Man City, I am not surprise that Newcastle bidded for the Swedish striker Alexander Isak worth €70 Million being the 6th most expensive single transfer this season, he is a young and pacy striker of high quality, it's obvious Newcastle are in for a bigger challenge this going by their brilliant performance against Man City last weekend a match they narrowly drew, I believe they will vie for the top 5 position in the league this season

Arsenal player Pepe is about to secure a loan move to Nice, it's unfortunate Pepe couldn't established himself in the team and couldn't justify the huge sign on fee paid to secure his transfer from Lille, he is not in Arteta plan this season because of arrival of new players into the club and with emergence and in-form of Martinelli and Saka invariably will limit Pepe to enjoy regular time as a winger, the loan move will help to improve his career and bring back his confidence again having age on his side just like William Saliba loan move to Merseille has rejuvenated his career.

Forget the fact that Man U won the match with Liverpool, that winning may be said to be a luck base game and we can't draw a conclusion on that until Manchester United can win their next 3 games to become top on the table. Until then I will start taking the club seriously.
Honestly if Man Utd can replicate their brilliant performance against Liverpool in their subsequent matches then maybe the expected turn around of the club is imminent, of course credit should be given to them for that win against their arch rival after many soccer analysts had predicted that they will lose that match, they played with zeal and determination, I think they will continue to improve on a positive note and consolidate on that win in their next match and the arrival of Casimero probably a more improve side.
1798  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How often do you use Bitcoin? on: August 23, 2022, 11:35:03 PM
I used bitcoin once every week and multiple times in a month, I don't have to transact bitcoin on daily basis, I rather hodl my coin in the wallet, once the need arises to transact part or the whole coin I do send to Binance for a P2P transaction to fiat, this is done at least once in week especially when I needed some fiat for some basic stuffs like payment for goods and services because in my country bitcoin hasn't been approved as a means of payment in fact it had been ban, however thanks to anonymous bitcoin transaction which allows users to transact swiftly without government agents tracking the transaction.

There are reports that Arsenal have a concrete interest in Pedro Neto in the ongoing transfer window. And I think that there have been discussions going on between Arsenal, Wolves and the player's Agent for over a month now. It’s occur to me that Pedro Neto is a kind of player Arteta would love because he fits his philosophy and so that’s why Arsenal are keen on bringing him to the Emirates but they’re trying to offload Nicolas Pepe in order to facilitate the move. Honestly it’d be a good addition to the Arsenal team. The fact that he can play on both wings is an advantage. At least they won’t be limited on any of the wings in case of injury to either Saka or Martinelli.
The huge sign on fee demanded by Wolves for signing of Veto will likely make Arsenal to back out from the deal, Wolves are demanding a sign on fee between £50million and £60million, recall Arsenal indeed spent huge amount of money to beef up their squad in the transfer window they wouldn't want to spend more fund to sign Neto except they sold some of their out of favor players like Pepe, truly Arsenal needed a backup extra winger if they want to clinch top 4 spot though they have enough midfielders in the squad.
1800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: August 23, 2022, 06:39:52 PM
Erik Ten Hak's strategy worked flawlessly in that match, Super Pressing was done very well by the players, the rotation was quite impactful, with Erik Ten Hak using Diogo Dalot, Raphael Varane, Lisandro Martinez and Tyrell Malacia to defend the defence.

Manchester United's game scheme already looks good from the start of the game, despite losing possession of the ball, the only player I think is less than optimal is Bruno Fernandez, this player has lost the ball at his feet several times due to holding too much.
so there are some opportunities that can't be solved perfectly.

Other Manchester United players played quite impressively, even Mohamed Salah was made difficult to develop and create chances, so Liverpool had quite a hard time breaking into United's defense, many Liverpool players were frustrated and couldn't do much in the match.
Lisandro Martinez role was quite prominent in manchester United third game. It's as if he got a special task from Erik ten Hag to look after three Liverpool players (Mo. Salah, Luis Diaz and Firmino). The three of them were made unable to move freely as usual with the help of Raphael Varane.

You can see how Jadon Sancho goal happened. When Elanga delivered a pull pass to jadon Sancho, Trent Alexander-Arnold I thought should help chase to dissuade Sancho when he attempted to deflect a shot towards the Liverpool goal. He (Trent Arnold) is seen standing at the sight of his comrade lying down.

The duo of dalot and Malacia did a good job as left and right back of Man Utd, the latter really checkmated and didn't give Salah breathing space and kept him quite in most of the duration of the match likewise Dalot handled Luiz Daiz very well, the duo of Varane and Martinez indeed compliment each other at the central defence, I don't think Maguire stand any chance of retaining a first eleven shirt in Man Utd going by the excellent performance of the duo in the defense, while Elanga and Sancho positioned themselves very well thus created a lot of space to run into Liverpool defence.
