bitmainwarranty.com will repair them (if they can) for a fee. Fee varies by issue (I think they more or less make it up). But I've had them fix boards for a reasonable price before.

This is the exact same kind of bullshit that had me stop selling miners on ebay. I never tried amazon. My last miners I sold on the forums here. I had high hopes for openbazaar but last I dinked with it there were things that were flat out broken when running on windows server and they seem not to know since the big v2.0 update didn't fix them at all.

Where did you download the miner? Maybe someone hardcoded it when it was compiled to mine for them. Try one from here: https://github.com/luke-jr/bfgminer/releasesMake sure your batch file is in the same folder as the executable and/or make sure the batch file has the full path to the executable.

It sounds like maybe it is picking up something from a config file. I can't recall what the config file is called for bfgminer, something .conf. See if there is one and either rename it or delete it.
EDIT: I guess alternatively you could also just put your own config in the config file as well...

Hi Everyone! Please have a read about the new trading engine on our blog!! We sincerely appreciate your patience. The wait is finally coming to an end. So it was called off? The live updating to the trade screen is still broken. Is that the new state of things? We went from things suck to things suck even more?

You already posted that and it was already answered.

Now maybe try the --block-sync-size 10 option. I had to resort to that too but I used size 20.
|
|
|
EDIT: I didn't read your post closely enough so I had to change what I posted.
Do you have the latest version of the GUI? Almost looks like it is saying you need a newer version for blocks beyond that point.
Current Version: 0.11.1.0 Helium Hydra

Seems like someone did something useful. API responses are back in the realm of not completely horrible.

The picture is the 741. I wonder what it looks like with the PSU integrated.
Includes PSU, more sensible power draw for non-data center mining, not bitmain, sounds like a winner to me.

Depends on the exact card but I get 717-744 on XMR with these.

There was an improvement a few days ago immediately after everything was unavailable for a time. But honestly I suspect that improvement was just due to the database getting caught up. It's pretty well back to unusable now.

I did see one error but the order went in anyway, which is something that was happening before sometimes too. But so far, every order I have entered or cancelled has succeeded with a single attempt which is a huge improvement. Let's hope it stays this good.

Is there some kind of estimate on when something usable will be rolled out?
First week of December. Jesse Powell (CEO) made a reddit post about it. But currently Kraken is a black hole for money. I sent some btc to it hoping to sell, but it's now completely impossible to trade (earlier it was possible if you just made enough attempts). And withdrawing to sell at another exchange doesn't work either. I would recommend not sending ANY money to it until the problems are fixed. Yep. Kind of why I am asking. This is the first week. Tomorrow is Friday.

You would have had to set specific port forwards to your miner for someone to access it. Either that or put it in a DMZ. Otherwise firewalls are normally only permeable on outbound connections. I would be more worried about a hijacked PC on the internal network than the firewall allowing access.
This. Although you can check poolside and see if it is not mining on your pool. If it is still mining on your pool then it isn't a hijack issue it is something else. I have some weird problems with my S9's and every so often it seems like you have to reflash the firmware to get it back to normal.

The fun part is watching the markets move and being completely unable to do anything because of endless errors and timeouts. Wait fun isn't what I mean, fucking frustrating, that's it. What's the point of an exchange where you can't even, you know, exchange? Response times are literally off the charts: https://status.kraken.com/

I seem to recall seeing someone with this issue before but I couldn't find it. Do any of the linux peeps out there know off hand how I can try and run the web GUI from SSH? I am able to SSH in just fine. I think if I can get the GUI up I can probably just reflash the firmware and fix it. I want to avoid use of the reset button if possible, especially since it is clearly mining just fine.

API still works, sort of...
