What do all of these exchanges have in common that cryptsy doesnt have in common?
They have all been hacked at least once. GG gentlemen. Carry on.
Well if your arguing in favor of cryptsy you're in the wrong thread but can you cite evidence for your claim that all of those exchanges have been hacked at least once?

still having this issue. about ten hours of my mining is stuck in unexchanged.. i dont want to continue mining if this isnt going to get corrected been a week and a half since my unexchanged balance has moved.. ive stopped mining, and i can only hope this gets fixed at this point.. i stopped mining here because about half a days work is still stuck, a month later. ridiculous. Yeah I quit here too. But looking at an address I stopped mining on with CM like 2 months ago it still has some dust in immature and 0.00331450 in unexchanged, plus 0.00026227 in ready for payout (more than a buck all told). The address I was using more recently has more than seven dollars worth stuck in unexchanged and also still has dust in immature a few days later plus a buck and a half or so in ready for payout. I wouldn't care if it was all just spare change but this adds up, especially when I am trying to pay myself back for an expensive miner.

CGMiner let me down back in block erupter days. I really think you didn't give much of a hoot
I have always used CGMiner with my block erupters with no problem. And I'm still using it with a handful of BE's. Now that 49 port hub of theirs was total crap and never worked right for me. Why would you still run those? I have a couple block erupters sitting in the corner right now, right next to my Big Fucking Liars jalapeno and little single. They all still work but what's the point?

I was about 0.30 btc then slowly disappeared, because the share rewards are low, I thought I was being paid in the block after, but no, I see 0.00, why?
The "0.30" you got at first is an estimate of your rewarded shares. If you stop mining before the block is found, others still keep mining, and the total number of shares for the block grows without your contribution growing as well. Hence, your share of the block reward is getting lower as time goes. The longer it takes to mine the block, the less significant your contribution is going to be compared to the rest of the pool. thank you for the information, i understand, however i paid the hashpower on nicehash so this money i can see in the next block?? lost? i'm sorry to tell you but you lost them impossible, i read that the shares are always paid (in luck block) now i see shares rewarded: 47.88% ................................... If the pool is lucky over a period of time then it will go back and pay shelved shares (which is basically just older shares). If the pool is not lucky then it won't pay older shares because it will have so many newer shares already that need to be paid. All shares are saved and have the potential to be paid eventually but it depends on how lucky or unlucky the pool is over time as to how many of those shares will actually be paid.

Wow that was fast. Thanks bitpop.

I was thinking of that story also. I am hearing similar story to OP more and more around here. Considering their involvement with known scammer Josh Homero Garza of gawminers I would avoid cryptsy like the plague. There is also the coin fire story that cryptsy is under investigation. (Both mentioned in that story also). https://99bitcoins.com/federal-investigations-of-cryptsy-underway/

What a waste. Is it really more profitable to run off with everyone's funds than to run a reliable exchange and take fees?

I remember when ck's signature read to the effect 'only ignoring luke jr.' That's when I tried to figure out who's who or what around here and I came to the conclusion that jr. guy was some sort of a jesus freak who also happened to 'pick up' on ck's early open source? miner and bend it to his liking. This is my current understanding.
To the point, jesus freaks aren't supposed to steal and cheat. This too is my current understanding.
And he's still the only person on my ignore list. Unfortunately in that time the landscape has changed so much and so many people have moved on and newcomers replaced them that the reason for the argument is not known by many of the current people in the bitcoin world - most people think it's a simple matter of "why don't you just make up and be friends?". But search enough and the history on the internet doesn't lie about where source code came from, who wrote it first, what claims were made, and how ridiculous he was, is and will continue to be. Then one can understand why that is not a solution. The biggest continuing problem is I try to remain out of the arguments, but in this world if you don't defend yourself, then people just end up believing the person who shouts loudest and longest and silence is assumed as guilt through being unable to defend oneself. Kano enjoys such fights and I have him to thank for defending when the trolling resurfaces (as it often does). I have no time for them... My observation, for what it is worth, is that actually Kano trolls the eligius thread. My further observation is that it is readily apparent why nobody can get along with Luke Jr because he posts like someone who is mentally incapable of understanding that other people have valid points of view that differ from his own. He speaks from the assumption that he is already 100% correct. I have always found wizkid to be reasonable although to the most recent issue, why he wouldn't think that it was worthwhile to prevent people throwing away their hashrate if they incorrectly enter an address I do not know. Maybe just because Kano showed up to troll about it. I can understand taking a position just because someone who bugged me tried to force me to take another. Also just for the record @kano, no I don't think you are simply a troll and I find you a pretty reasonable voice in general but there is no doubt that your posts in the eligius thread are trolling in nature, as I said, just an observation. You seem to have an axe to grind and every so often you stop by there to grind it. I have been mining on eligius for a couple years, I have also mined here in the past, and have mined on bitminter for over a year (and most of the other smaller pools at some point). Organofcorti made a recommendation to me a long time ago which I have tried to follow as to spreading hashrate on multiple pools to decrease variance, and I have always tried to support smaller pools to help reduce centralization. I did move half of my eligius hashrate back over here after this latest little dust up though. I thought Luke's "lol" response to someone mining with more then a Petahash on a misconfigured address was more over the top a-hole than even he usually manages. But wizkid gave a reasonable response in that he would work with the miner if they asked to make sure they were compensated. Even so, luck there has been horrible lately so I was contemplating moving anyway.

AOL fixed their OpenID service. AOL logins are now working again.
I really like the idea of decentralise transaction verification so I would like to support pools with low hashing power. However, the only thing that stops me to support Bitminter is the requirement to use an online account to mine on Bitminter. I don't have and I don't want to have an online account managed by any companies like AOL, Yahoo, etc. But out of curiosity if you don't mind to explain, what is the reason why having online account is mandatory to mine on Bitminter? Why can we not register an account which is localised on Bitminter network? Or why can we not use our Bitcoin address to mine on Bitminter? You can create an AOL account with almost no info (and all of it made up if you want). I created one for the sole purpose of being able to chat with someone who used a MAC since AIM is compatible with that whole MAC chat thing, whatever it is called. Then when I signed up on bitminter I just used that same AOL account and it works fine (except when AOL openID was broke for a minute there). https://my.screenname.aol.com/_cqr/login/login.psp?

I am pleased to present a new project HappySatoshi Multipool with automatic currency exchange Payout in BTC or LTC (can add other currencies if someone need it) Payouts scheduled at 1pm GMT Pool in beta stage but fully functional Welcome http://happysatoshi.comHey can you make a new thread to announce this pool? I just found out about it and I like it a lot but it needs some more hashrate and maybe an announcement would help in that regard.

You got the url correct but the name wrong for happysatoshi.com I just found this pool and moved there from clevermining and have to say the website is really impressive. Considering you can autotrade everything to BTC or LTC like clevermining it is very transparent as to what is being mined, how much the pool gets form every block, how much you get, etc... The opaqueness of clevermining always kind of bothered me but clevermining seemed to do as well as multipool.us for me and without having to sell a bajillion coins myself so I stayed for a while. I have no association with happysatoshi but since I am mining there now and the pool could use more hashrate, consider this a recommendation. In fact the low hashrate is the only downside I see to it. The hashrate is too low to mine high difficulty coins like LTC right now but if more people come to the pool that could change. I would encourage people to check it out. They also have an X11 multipool but the hashrate on that is super weak.

What is this?
#15 (Unknown users) 183.02 Th/s 460225024 1.257%
LOL, that's people mining with an invalid address I think. = donations. scam If you have a way to track these users down, you're welcome to share it. On my pool we don't keep users connected with invalid connection details so we can steal their mining power = BTC. Invalid address miners are not allowed to mine. Well it looks like whoever it is figured it out. I agree though, this should be prevented. With that kind of hashrate it's an expensive mistake.

Them scammers gots the thin skins. Funny how many of them think that the appropriate reply to being called out for being a butt pimple is to attack the people who posted all the evidence proving their butt pimple properties.

Whats the worst round luck we have ever had? Not that I think we are that close to it but hey maybe we can make the best of it and go for a new record!

After the last days poor result and the lack of responses to any on the forum I've stopped mining at CM. I'm going back to HappySatoshi that performs alot better and doesn't get coins stuck in exchanges and crap.
I really like the transparency on that site. You can see what is being mined, when blocks are found, etc... But the pool hash rate is really low. That pool can't realistically mine LTC or DASH (on the x11 pool) because of the high difficulty with such a low hash rate.

I have been mining for around a year on eligius with around 19 BTC payout total, and my total luck is 95.35% right now. That is pretty awful considering the time frame..
I mine on two addresses, the older one shows 93.6% shares rewarded. Well this is a bummer: three blocks away from a payout and I got bumped to the back of the queue with only 80% of my unpaid balance paid. I'm guessing this has to do with a manual payout? The remainder still shows in my unpaid balance, but damn, now I have to wait 20 more blocks to collect it (that is, assuming this doesn't happen again, or there's no fail-safe thingy that extends the queue).
There hasn't been a manual payout. If there had been the queue would be a lot shorter. I always wondered what would happen if only part of what was owed was paid in a block, now I guess we both know. One Question to the Merged Mining.
I have set up mein NMC Merged Mining Addr for a long long time ago, and as i last night take a look into the BTC-E Account i have 7 NMC on my account :-) How dos i found a NMC and how much NMC get i per 1 TH/s and Month on Eligius?
NMC payouts are sporadic. There are no stats. Every so often you just get paid out.

As for the "article," I am tired of "writers" who have no grasp of Standard Written English.
Fuckin' A right! I realize English is probably his second language but if he is going to write pseudo-news stories in English he needs to learn how to write in English. Jus' sayin'
