841  Economy / Services / Re: DOX for SUCHMOON & PAUL REVERE - REWARD UP TO 10 btc on: December 07, 2015, 07:29:03 PM
I've done some more digging.  OP I think you may want to reconsider going after suchmoon.  I have a picture of his wife and, well, she looks pretty mean actually.

I don't think I would mess with her.

Also I was able to dig up a picture of one if his friends.  Another one probably best avoided if you asked me.

ding ding ding - wouldn't want you to rat out your HERO

The only people who would have a problem with suchmoon or Paul Revere would be scamming douchnozzles.  You seem to have a problem with them.  Simple logic tells me all I need to know about you.

The only thing you will get from this thread is the ridicule and derision you deserve.
844  Economy / Services / Re: DOX for SUCHMOON & PAUL REVERE - REWARD UP TO 10 btc on: December 07, 2015, 03:06:23 AM
I've done some digging and put out the word to some of my contacts and some information has already come back.  It looks as though Paul Revere is just an alias.  Turns out "Paul" was working as a NY city cab driver as recently as 2011.

I also have some information on suchmoon.  Apparently suchmoon is also an alias and he's actually living in Australia.  Here is a picture of his passport.

So let me get this straight... suchmoon has offered to dox himself in that quote.. so you will escrow and pay him 5 bitcoin for the information he gives you right?

I offered to dox myself for the original 10 BTC deal but now these additional conditions made it impossible. Try googling Paul Revere Grin

And seriously, landline? Maybe a fax number too?

Man you're right!  Looks like this Paul Revere character has been running around rabble rousing for quite a long time.  Based on what I have already learned I don't think this guy will even have a pager number.  It looks like he doesn't even drive but instead rides a horse.  Frankly I'm surprised he's even on the internet.  But one thing I have been able to narrow down is his location.  It appears he lives or lived in the Boston Mass area.  That 10 BTC is as good as mine bitches!

18 blocks remaining before the next difficulty change

about 2.7 hours

Overclock your S7 10% then. One difficulty change gratis!

8.7%, not even 9.  Better than I had hoped.

Anyone with a batch 6 OC at all (besides the person who did a hard reset and had it default to 700)?

It works on 650 for me (speed ~4.29-4.3 TH at 1165W/wall with gold PSU, with plat will be probably ~ 1130-1140W)
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1269200.msg13167019#msg13167019

I have a distinct feeling that the only difference between B6 and B8 will be B8 with a little higher upper limit of fan speeds, as B6 NEVER goes above 4320, but other batches sometimes reach 4400. I might check this by doing 80-100% manual setting and bumping to 700.

Thanks for the response.

I feel like the buy pressure is pretty weak compared to the sell pressure so I pulled the trigger and ordered another.  Which of course means bitcoin should go way, way up now so you all may want to get ready if you are considering a purchase.

Did all of the batch 7's ship?  Any batch 8's ship yet?  Anyone with a batch 6 OC at all (besides the person who did a hard reset and had it default to 700)?

If they keep these things pegged to BTC and BTC hits about $425ish I'll bite on another.  I hope it makes it in the next week or so.

maybe today  Wink

Certainly heading that way.

I need 3 or 4 days mining to get over the 4 BTC threshold though.  I'm close but I need a couple more blocks on a couple of pools.

I'm currently pursuing a strong lead as to who BitJohn may be in "real life", a concept "John" may not be too familiar given he's fascination with a certain dude renown for his concocted substance highly used by the Greatful Dead.

I got me a violin and I beg you call the tune
Anybody's choice, I can hear your voice
Wo, oh, what I want to know, how does the song go

Come hear uncle John's band by the riverside
Got some things to talk about, here beside the rising tide

Come hear uncle John's band playing to the tide
Come on along, or go alone, he's come to take his children home

He's batman!

Maybe you guys need to think about that, I hope they look into Suchmoon and Companies actions on this thread and take appropriate action.  Josh is already fried, he has no hope of getting off (thank god), but the way suchmoon et al are hellbent on attacking and harassing people is uncalled for and is a crime of humanity.

Not to mention the numerous laws broken on this thread, I am certain Josh's lawyer will have a field day with that, I only hope they do not eliminate the evidence that was posted in an illegal way.

I will be happy to show legal precedence that shows that posting stolen emails is illegal and punishable by law.  I read the claims that the emails were obtained because good ol homero left his computer on, but that doesn't negate the fact that the emails were stolen.  If a person leaves their door open, it does not mean you can walk in and steal their shit.

Left his computer on? Didn't the dickhead run mail through that google mail service and incorrectly set his permissions so it was public so I fail to see how that is illegally obtaining. Its like me putting pictures and documents up on my own ftp and setting permissions to public and not expecting someone to see it.

Josh was not a victim... he was incompetent and his investors were his victims. Don't detract from that.

This is what happened, user account GAWNeedsToBeStopped had posted a number of emails between Josh and this Rishab guy and then internal emails between Carlos and Josh about Rishab that showed that Josh was more or less just interested in getting as much money out of him as he could and didn't really give a shit about him.  They are still on pastebin and you can find them with a search.  Those emails had been out for a while when coinbrief wrote a story about it.  So that story had kicked up some talk on hashtalk.  So PCFan posted to hashtalk that he had proof that those first leaked emails were fake.  The proof he eventually posted was a purported email from Rishab to Josh saying that he (Rishab) did not know what the previous emails were about and that he had not purchased any primes and whatever the hell else from Josh and was just a normal customer with a few paycoins.  The email that PCFan posted was directly forwarded from Josh (the "genius" at work, keep that part in mind).

I looked at the pastebin (since deleted) of that email from Rishab that seemed to be asking what all the FUD was about and noticed it looked like it was in a distribution list or something (I believe this is because it truly was forwarded by Josh to PCFan).  It said something towards the bottom like "you are receiving this email because you are subscribed to blah, blah, blah. To unsubscribe send an email to blah, blah, blah).  Anyway, based on that I thought I would try and subscribe so all I had to do was send an email to 'josh+subscribe@geniusesatwork.com' and low and behold I got an email back asking me to confirm to join

And then boom, I was reading Josh's emails in my browser.  At the time I thought it was basically a google group and I had subscribed to it without realizing it was actually Josh's emails.  In restrospect I would say that whoever setup the emails for GAW was asked to set it up so that a moron (Josh) could get them easily forwarded to other email addresses because he was using so many different ones.  So they were setup with this subscription option.  I soon discovered that I could use the link to the group without logging in to anything.  So, since it was entirely public I went ahead and posted the link in this thread (or the old GAW thread whichever it was).  Very soon after that, GAWNeedsToBeStopped dropped 3 or 4 more links to groups containing more of Josh's emails from other addresses.

So basically they were all setup to be public and they were all setup with subscription services so that anyone could join them by sending a simple email asking to subscribe.  The entirely public links were posted to this (or the old) thread and everyone started reading them.

snip...lots of stuff...

At the time Zack had done well with the swap and was the first Coin to successfully try something like that. The way it was done was right, the code for the new chain needed work. Maybe you should also post the bugs I pointed out and tried to help them get it sorted out, all for naught in the end.

I would kindly request that you stop involving me in your conspiracy theories, I'm not doing things to fuck people over and not involved in whatever backdoor Cryptsy cloning conspiracy theory you think I am.

Dude, you need to stop Cyberstalking me and making false assumptions, what you are doing on these forums is illegal and you can be prosecuted......

Me ? (not you Wink ) lol

I am simply stating/sharing facts and information. I have also been quite specific if and when, what I am saying is theory and/or speculation.

In this case you are in what is called "a conflict of interest" and there are very strong signs of insider knowlege/trading.

Riddle me this nooblet..

IF, you are not me aka. mee (netcoin dev) or meeh (anoncoin dev) or MeMEcoin (muddafudda's craptsy troll box alt), then why did you have to identify yourself as Crestington ?

Who was BitJohn under the impression that he was speaking with ?

Hold the phone, are you suggesting that I am a Crestington sock puppet right there?

I'm glad they got that mention of Stu and Cantor in there at the end.  That should piss off some important people (and by important I just mean rich, not necessarily important in any meaningful way).

i want to see some reaction of those hashtards, can someone link me to their forum lol

https://paycointalk.org/topic/1068/gaw-jg

Is this mob of torch and pitchfork wielders the same group that screamed FUD at this thread from the start?  They refused to hear the truth when Josh was around to lie directly to them and now they can't wait for a pound of flesh from his hide.  Roll Eyes

Looks like selling miners on ebay is a disaster.
Have a buyer that issued a chargeback claim to their credit card for a purchase 60 days ago.
Ebay doesn't know about it.
Paypal knows about it but the buyer only filed a complaint with their credit card so paypal will only accept
whatever the credit card decides to do. They have the credit card info but will not share it with me.
Told me I will probably have to file a police report for theft. Unbelievable.

Buyer has 4 miners AND the cash. Looks like I will be the one to eat it.

I don't know how anyone can do business like this. Blatant fraud goes completely unchecked.

That's scary to hear.  Did the buyer have any positive feedback?  I honestly have not had a problem selling a bunch of S3's and my S5's on ebay, but the buyers all had good positive feedback.

The buyer was a "Guest User" for one time purchase.  Wolfen, told me some of the details before.  It's crazy isn't it?  PayPal should be the one responsible.  They should make sure potential buyers are fully vetted before allowing them to make a purchase over $99 USD from a seller.  The entire episode is a crock of shiznit!

I've learned [now] I will NOT complete a sell to anyone with less than 10 feedbacks if what I'm selling is over $100.  PERIOD...

I don't care if I get negative feedback!  I'm not selling to anyone with less than 10 positive feedbacks as a buyer.

Jeez guys, do you guys realize what you're talking about?
Selling a device designed to make open uncontrollable currency , and at the same time complaining, that there should be more control and oversee?
You guys for real?

What was sold is completely irrelevant.  It was sold for fiat using fiat transacting companies.  What's the point of fiat if you have no protections?
857  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S7 is available at bitmaintech.com with 4.86TH/s, 0.25J/GH on: December 02, 2015, 01:09:06 AM
Most are ranging from $2,200 to $2,500.

The seller still has to pay 2.5% to eBay and 10% to PayPal.

I thought it was 10% to ebay and 4% to paypal.  You can get ebay deals though sometimes.  I had $5 final value fee not too long ago.

You can get occasional deals like that.

Final value fees charged by eBay are normally 10%.  This does not include any possible listing fees.  I had it reversed.  PayPal is normally always 2.5% for anything sold on eBay.

OK I was thinking you had reversed but for some reason I had it in my mind that paypal was 4%.  Is it less for ebay sales through paypal then a normal paypal transaction?  Or maybe they reduced it?

if you want to scam people into paying really high prices, like on ebay, then...well...

You realize that with an auction style listing the customer sets the price right?

I believe he is referring to the buy-it-now style.  Newbies are actually paying $3,200 for an S7 with buy-it-now.  Look at "sold listings" and you will see what I'm talking about.

Holy crap.  You know, based on the horror stories people keep telling here about ebay that seems super risky for the seller though.  I got around $300 for my 2 S3's with a PSU not too long ago so if I get hosed with a return it won't kill me.  Plus they already earned what I paid for them and then some.  But a brand new S7.  That would hurt if someone did a chargeback and kept it at any price.
