181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazing how many negative stories about BTC have come out today without a source on: April 20, 2021, 05:17:10 PM
Some of the people who are making negative stories about bitcoin have two possible motives.

Maybe they want people to stop investing on it or they just want to make stories to fool people.

Always remember that you should always need sources when you read something because it is hard to believe on something without a proof. Also BTC is volatile and it is given to have a downward price in the market. What are you expecting? Bitcoin is not always in an upward movement due to corrections.
182  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is die . All crypto go down on: April 20, 2021, 06:57:41 AM
A sudden correction in bitcoin's price is never the end of bitcoin's shine in the market.

I know that you are scared of losing your money but in investment, there's no place for people who have weak hands.

Instead of thinking it as a bad thing, why don't make it as an opportunity to think positively? Also if you observe the market, you shouldn't be scared about its movement.
183  Economy / Speculation / Re: Game over to Bitcoin Time to sell all on: April 20, 2021, 06:36:38 AM
it's going to be down and down.
We enter a bear market. dark time for btc.
Dear newbie, if you really think that way then rush to the market and sell your bitcoin fast. We appreciate the weak hands giving us their coins at a discount. Wink

They are right, bitcoin is not for the weak hands because they are easily panicked by sudden decrease in bitcoin's price.

If don't believe in bitcoin, you will surely regret your action when its price pumped and make new ATH in the future.

Many people are scared of bearish market because they know that their money is decreasing but little did they know that if you look on the bitcoin chart, bitcoin is still bullish.
184  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is falling down. Is it the end for it? on: April 19, 2021, 02:10:56 PM
It is normal for bitcoin to have a down trend or a red candle especially that it is volatile in the market.

Don't expect that bitcoin will only have an upward price because there's no such thing like that in the cryptocurrency market.

If the bitcoin price goes down, just be patient and perform fundamental skills to know what is the best and next step to do to become not so affected by that.
185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: An unconfirmed tweet caused a $288 billion fall in bitcoin market value today on: April 19, 2021, 12:43:50 PM
I don't think just one anonymous tweet can bring down the entire cryptocurrency market in such a way! Especially when the allegation is quite normal and nothing out of the box. Every government says that cryptocurrencies are being used for money laundering but it never hurt the market in such a major way.

Is it too hard to think that profit booking is happening after the meteoric rise in prices since last few weeks? Also a day ago Turkey banned cryptocurrency as a method of payment. This news might also have contributed to the fall.

One tweet from anonymous source is too hard to believe!

Bad news about bitcoin are the one who can make the bitcoin's price go down.

Tweets are not that certain to affect the price of bitcoin in the market especially that it doesn't have any strong evidences or sources, unless, a famous personality stated it.

Hoping that the fall of bitcoin price will stop as soon as possible but I believe that it will go high again and make another ATH in the future.
186  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies you should catch these little scam tricks if you want to stay in crypto on: April 18, 2021, 09:33:38 AM
Newbies are not expert in catching scams. As a matter of fact, they are usually the ones being preyed on by these scammers. So they will have to develop utmost caution. If they will have to generalize, then they should do it.

It is hard to investigate every single giveaway, investment opportunity, and so on. So for a newbie to avoid becoming a victim while still on the learning process, he/she will have to disregard all kinds of giveaways, investment opportunities, crypto bonuses, free tokens, and so on. And, most of all, they should never ever send any amount of money to anybody.

That's one of the most famous schemes that these scammers are using to fool newbies.

Also these newbies are easily fooled by doubling bitcoin, fake giveaways, and etc., that they think that it can double their money.

We should always keep in mind that it is much worth it if we really worked hard to earn money instead of relying on fake giveaways.
187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bought my vitamins with Bitcoin on: April 18, 2021, 08:57:36 AM
We should put bitcoin in more practical uses, we should also know how to effectively make it grow and boost its adoption.

There are times that bitcoin should really be used in that way because it is a currency.

It is not only a store of value but also it can be use as a payment tool in transactions. There are countries who already use bitcoin in buying cars, houses, and other goods/products. If we keep on using it by that then it can probably become normal and people will also invest on it. There are a lot of opportunity and bitcoin and it also has a lot of uses that we can benefit with.
188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk stop messing up the crypto market on: April 18, 2021, 07:41:34 AM
We have nothing to do with that because we are just a small investor compared to him who is a billionaire.

It seems annoying to us but he is just doing what is good for him, and we need to adopt on what is happening in the market.

Whales like him can really manipulate the market and we just need to make good decisions and effective strategies to somehow adjust on the market and still make it profitable.
189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Store of value or Payment method or else? on: April 17, 2021, 08:10:03 AM
Bitcoin has a lot of benefits and uses in our daily lives, many said that it can be used in paying in transactions, store of value, and etc.

But for me, in bitcoin, I found financial freedom when using it and I became aware about the economy and cryptocurrencies.

I knew that there are a lot of opportunities and there are many choices in investment.
190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the best Sport to bet on ? on: April 17, 2021, 07:38:34 AM
Besides NFL, For me, NBA is also the best sport to bet on when you want to have a large odds.

Basketball is one of the the most famous sports around the world that's the reason why it is also popular in some Sports gambling sites.

You can bet and at the same time support the team that you are a fan of.
191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government Controls Crypto? on: April 17, 2021, 06:36:53 AM
Ok so there are people who say that crypto is decentralized and cannot be controlled by the government. How can this be true when the government can shut down the companies where you are able to buy, sell, or send crypto? What do you guys think? Do you all think that crypto is truly decentralized and cannot be controlled by the government or can they?

No government can stop me from buying, selling, sending or receiving crypto. The worst they can do is to make it illegal.

And that's what other countries did. They banned or illegalize bitcoin because they want to become involved in all of economic activities.

One of the best thing in crypto is that it is decentralized and we have financial freedom when we have it.

Cryptocurrency can be also controlled by the government depending on how they will regulate it .
192  Economy / Economics / Re: Investment the way to economic stability on: April 16, 2021, 06:17:01 AM
People are starving, people are having conflict and difficulties and surviving everyday due to unemployment.

I think that investment is the way in order for us fight inflation and economic crisis.

Financial stability is what we need right now, we need to make a way and seize every opportunity as much as possible just like what crypto investment is.
193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Early signs of crime with bitcoin. on: April 16, 2021, 05:42:23 AM
Ponzi schemes using bitcoin are increasing when these adoptions are prevailing in our society.

Scammers will do anything and will go with the trend when people or investors are eager to invest on it and make it grow instantly.

We can't really fully make them vanish as there are people who will really make crimes just to keep themselves from poverty and crisis.
194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the biggest competitive eSports? Do you ever place eSport bets? on: April 16, 2021, 05:08:14 AM
Why is that CS:GO isn't included on the list? It is one of the greatest games to watch and keep track on an eSports Betting.

I usually bet on DOTA2, LOL, and CS:GO because these are the games that I'm playing for so many years.

Even when I'm at work, I still can watch over these games because Pro players are so good to watch especially that they have the skills and outstanding plays. Playing eSports betting is entertaining but you should still become disciplined enough and apply the saying "don't risk what you can't afford to lose."
195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC losing its dominance big time on: April 15, 2021, 01:33:47 PM
Bitcoin dominance keeps dropping mates  Grin ,I think we are definitely in for altcoin bullish season starting from any time now, oops sorry it has already began lol but mind you it's never too late, I heard many missed the train in 2017 well here we are again, it's happening right under your nose, safe yourself some sorry later and take risks now
My opinion is the opposite.  Bitcoin has never lost its dominance, with bitcoin's market cap regularly> 60% of total market cap.  It happened similarly to 2017 but even better this year.  Bitcoin becomes a symbol of wealth at this point.  Except for fomo that give a great boost to resilience like Doge.  It still moves in an elastic trend with bitcoin.

Bitcoin never loses its dominance it is in fact undergoing some slow-down season where its price is just not moving so much.

You can invest on both, bitcoin and altcoins depending on your capabilities to make it profitable for you.

It can only have a rest and then experience bullish run again depending on its season, it is really hard to predict when bitcoin and other cryptocurrency will increase its price in the market. Studying the market, analysis, and skills is a must in order to know how bitcoin can be still become profitable during its inactive price.
196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Simpsons predicted an endless Bitcoin price growth on: April 15, 2021, 12:53:41 PM
*this topic is the first discuss it, you are late https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5330209.0

This is a joke and nothing more, do not take it seriously.
joke or not, almost all of the predictions issued by The Simpson really happened, did you not follow the predictions that were issued by the Simpson?

Are you still gonna believe that Simpson is a prediction maker? All of us can make predictions because it is just a matter of coincidence.

It is only credible if they showed us some of their basis or evidences of their predictions.

We should not always believe on those wide imaginations, anyone can make prediction but it is just interesting if it comes true, then that's really unbelievable.
197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving asset in bitcoin is much more better than saving in banks on: April 15, 2021, 12:09:36 PM
I think it's about burdensome interest rates, because for me both are still equally important. As for the advantages, bitcoin provides a higher profit because you are not subject to any interest, while the money stored in a bank account every month will get a discounted interest.

Bitcoin is the new gold in our generation, people are investing and keeping their cryptocurrency instead of saving it in banks.

Some of us are still benefiting the use of banks but most of us are now relying on bitcoin to secure our assets.

It is really much more profitable because the profit here depends on how skilled and determined you are in working with it in the market.

199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you limit your gambling time? on: April 14, 2021, 08:02:01 AM
Yes, absolutely. I play gambling but I only gamble the money that I can afford to lose. I only use my spare money and not use my budget in other things.

Having a plan in gambling and a proper budget will make you confident and comfortable while playing.

Discipline, patience, and being relaxed is necessary in gambling, you should not be greedy if you can't handle the heat.
200  Economy / Economics / Re: donating 50% of the vaccines purchased to the government. on: April 14, 2021, 07:01:55 AM
To be honest, Dutertes response to COVID has been long criticized, and so has been his ruling of the country, so I am really not surprised that they are forcing privately-owned companies to donate half of the vaccines to the government. It seems that he wants to dip his toes in both pools with extracting money from the ADB and extorting companies. But when you are that type of autocrat, anything goes.
I don't follow political news in the Philippines...
But I do agree with you that Duterte's leadership has been criticized for a long time and he doesn't care about it like that. forcing private companies to donate vaccine funds looks like indirect blackmail and is likely to make things worse there.

But Duterte is really not a good leader in times of needs especially that all of his efforts are not enough to lead.

Vaccines in Philippines are not properly allocated and regulated because corrupt authorities are still doing their best to thrift the budget for the vaccine and get some.

Isn't reasonable if governments will have a fair price for the mass and for poor people? In this pandemic, does money and corruption still matters?
