The interest to do a takeover just isn't here. I did my best to get it started but as we can see it just didn't go anywhere. There were a few people that expressed interest in helping but didn't actually do anything to help.
I've been watching this thread. CryptoDatabase was one of the only people that stepped up to organize things as far as I can see. I don't have a lot of time to spare but I was considering contributing some time to this coin as I've worked with CryptoDatabase in the past somewhat. Unfortunately I've seen this sort of situation play out before. Those unwilling to contribute will slowly move on as they discover the latest and greatest new alt coin with more development attention. Everyone has an opinion on what SHOULD happen and how the code SHOULD work but very little work is being accomplished to make this a reality as far as I can see. Perhaps I am wrong but I am basing this all on many similar previous experiences in crypto. So the cycle continues... Discouraged and frustrated with a lack or progression, many will jump to the next big thing, ICO, IPO, with next gen features. Road map will overwhelm with cool graphics and promises. Eventually, devs and/or organizers won't deliver and will disappear with your funds. Don't have much time too, to help this coin, it's sad. |

The original dev is HYPERfuture but he haven't logged in in a long time. Not so long ago members of the community were talking about a take over of the coin. |

Good time to buy, but the next pump that will bring the price over 100sats will probably happen next summer Why summer? I can't wait till summer  But I think we'll see some movements in Jan. some movement yes probably down to 25sat, to early to get a pump in january, btc is still going up that will not help but pretty sure there are gonna have pump because it s a pump & dump coin lol, it happen a few times it gonna happen again Exactly, but I think Bitcoin is not going up forever probably it will stop at one point and then alt season will begin. When Bitcoin stop going up, you will see all the alts being pumped. |

What do you think about it? A new ann with an op who can edit the start post would be perfect and is realy necessary imo. Now nothing is realy clear about the take over, the thoughts and ideas are "lost" in this thread... Also the op could start a list there with nicks who want to help with some BTC. A new thread should wake up everybody, here it's like "snooze" ... but we never get up.  Anybody who could do this, start a new thread with informations like the history and our future plans about HYPER!? A team should be formed first and after that, one of the member can create a new thread explaining their will to take over the coin. |

Is mining Digibyte a secret? I don't understand why the main site has no info about how to mine. Maybe it's there but it's in santa clause style or something...? Stratis has been on track or beyond expectations. Glad to hodl significant amount of tokens . If apps start to deploy that is how we will feel the said potential of Stratis.
Stratis coul;d dump hard or pump hard but because it already got pumped it really only leaves one option.  If the BTC price drop, the dump will probably wait and we might see an other pump. |

I know of a couple people that can do it, not sure on the price yet though as I haven't asked. Waiting to see what the community decides for the route HYPER takes. So far it's been pretty overwhelming to move to a new coin. Not a bad find. $325 for the whole thing, node for a month, set of wallets, and a website. If this is eventually done I'll contribute $100 in btc towards it. Will you consider taking over hyper ? or ranlo? or is there some other old established member here who will take the lead? someone needs to take over the dev pot if the cone is cloned with that in tact and use it for some good use. I'm not really in a good place to run lead. Already involved with multiple projects as it is. I can roll as a sort of adviser or mentor though. The best option is multiple members taking it over and working together. It will be hard for one member alone to rebuilt the coin. |

A sort of Board for HYPER would be the best route to go for future developments. A team of dedicated members who's goal is to see the coin succeed for everyones benefit. This will require a lot of time and energy, both of which I'm short on. Between my database website and my DKV2 game my time is really limited. I can help get things started, but that's about as much as I can do right now. Maybe once DKV2 comes out of alpha I might have some more time but that won't be for a while. What would be cool if wallets included a direct link to the latest snapshot so you could simply click a button and have it downloaded and updated automatically. Or, include a bootstrap file with the wallet download (optional) that would automatically install. Just some food for thought... I like your idea of snapshot available for new users. It could be added to the site right next to the wallet links. Will look into that for the website update. Cool! I think anything, within reason, that lowers the bar to entry would increase the overall use of crypto in general. I read a lot of newbie posts about waiting for the wallet to catch up being frustrating and I know some of them are leaving because the overall impression is that the technology is old or buggy. Not the best presentation when trying to capture new users. We will update the OP with the authentication and a the latest snapshot provided soon. |
