181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Creating shit TOKEN make good profit ? on: January 21, 2020, 09:09:01 PM
The age of 'Shitcoinia' is dead. Investors are far savvier nowadays and they are not going to back a shit coin created purely for the owner to get rich quick. If you just want to take from people without generating any intrinsic value, you will not prosper or be successful. The real way to succeed is to find something you are passionate about and good at, to share with others. This way people will pay you for your talent. If you want to just rip people off, sorry to say this, but we are fed up for scammers entering this space and we are looking for real quality now, and are far more discerning in our investment habits.
182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My dream for bitcoin on: January 21, 2020, 09:00:18 PM
It's great to have lofty dreams but I have to say your Bitcoin Manifesto for the Future needs a good tweak here and there. We need some regulations regarding Bitcoin, in order to make it legal for institutional money to come in, without that, it would be not attractive to this kind of capitalization and if we want it to moon our bags, we need this necessary 'evil'.
Another thing is, we need to change the way we view governance and also both our political and economic systems need to change in order to welcome a more decentralized monetary atmosphere.
We also need to become more civilized as entities as well. We are way too lawless and greedy right now, as you can see in the Cryptosphere, so many people are ready to hack, steal and scam on us at every turn, so we need laws to protect us using Bitcoin more. We are right to have dreams, but we must ensure the infrastructure comes in from top to bottom, to ensure Bitcoin is safe to use for all parties, except the scammers of course. So we need things like indemnity insurance, underwriters, lawmakers, Governments and the Private sector to all be on the same page, then us little people can really go to town and enjoy using Bitcoin. BTW loved your Art work.
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Day Trading or Long-term Hodl? on: January 06, 2020, 10:04:12 PM
I am doing both right now, both holding and growing Bitcoin and stablecoins through trading profits. I also am growing one bag as I am trading it of a coin that I want to get to a decent level of. So am holding three coins and taking profits as well to put in Bitcoin and Stablecoins. This is my plan for 2020, to try to raise my capital at least by five times, then I will have some skin in the game, as I did in 2017. I hope to at least get back one-fifth of what I lost in the last bear market, then I will be content and rest.
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto history making year 2020 started it's journey ! on: January 06, 2020, 09:59:14 PM
I wish everyone blessings and success for 2020 but we also need to be vigilant, realistic and cautious when it comes to fulfilling our expectations and goals. It's always good to be hopeful but we need to be acting on our ideas and goals to make them a reality. Don't just depend on lady luck to get you what you want. You need to go out there and work for it and crypto is no different. Either we have to tradE our way there, or be lucky to invest in a couple fo low cap unicorns that might make it to the top 100 in CMC.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Guys stop investing! Use your brain, please on: January 06, 2020, 09:54:05 PM
I have stopped investing mainly now except in a couple of projects and trade to accumulate Bitcoin and one other coin that I do see has potential due to its diminishing supply. Gone are the days we went in every ICO and made money from almost all of them. Now is not the case as most coins and tokens don't even reach an exchange. I think now most people trad eon Bitmex or bybit or spot trade their favorite coins to make profits. Times have changed and so have our habits where it comes to crypto, even me.
186  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit my job to do full-time crypto-trading. Made 12 BTC profit last month on: January 06, 2020, 09:50:52 PM
Great to see a professional trader who took the leap of faith and is trading now full time. When I read your story that you made 12 Bitcoin in the first month of trading, I was well impressed. I was hoarding coins and lost them in the bear market as I was a hodler and not a trader, but now I do trade, just one or two currencies and slowly trying to get back my losses. Although technically I never lost capital I invested, only lost capital I made form working for crypto. I am in a full-time crypto job and get paid in Bitcoin which is nice but I trade part-time for a hobby.  I like where I work as they are a blockchain company so will not be leaving any time soon, but trading is fascinating indeed and we learn a lot about ourselves also when we trade.
187  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't spend bitcoin. Not now. on: January 06, 2020, 09:44:36 PM
Unfortunately, I have no choice but to spend monthly form my Bitcoin, because my salary is paid to me in Bitcoin form my normal day job and of course I need to pay my mortgage, bills, and food, so it comes from Bitcoin expenditure. I do though also try to be frugal and not spend on silly things, so manage to put a bit aside every month, which hopefully will grow. My aim is to try to make at least 1-2 Bitcoin in 2020 if all goes well and I am working hard to achieve my goals to this end. We all need to set goals, this is very important.
188  Economy / Economics / Re: How do manage portfolio efficiently while having a full time job? on: January 06, 2020, 09:41:05 PM
I only hold Bitcoin and stablecoins and one coin I have a decent bag of which I trade. I just check the market once a day for the coin I trade and on my days off, I might do some scalping. Otherwise, I am primarily swing trading and growing more Bitcoin as well as more of this coin, so I can trade an even bigger bag every month. This way I can win bigger even on smaller percentages and spreads, thus earning more and more each month, over and on top of my monthly basic salary. I do like to trade though now, as opposed to just hodling.
189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If You Bought Bitcoin Each Week in 2019, You’d Be up 49% on: January 06, 2020, 09:38:31 PM
I get my monthly salary from my day job in Bitcoin now so since I started two months ago, I am just keeping a small part of what I don't need for living expenses in Bitcoin and saving it up from there. I am really happy to get paid in Bitcoin because if I can save something every month and Bitcoin does go up even double, it's like a bonus for me every year hopefully. I do hope to also keep some stable coin as well, to buy the dips if it dips lower than the value that I get it at each month, to hedge and not lose if it falls below, this way averaging down cost.
190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why only 6.2 percent of American citizens own Bitcoin? on: January 06, 2020, 09:35:05 PM
It's much better than I thought to be quite frank because I thought with all the different regulations and the IRS it would put a lot of Americans off owning Bitcoin. Then again, they would want to be at the forefront of this revolution seeing that they have Silicon Valley and a lot of tech going on there. Anyway, it's not a bad amount of people owning Bitcoin and when I started out, I remember it was less than one percent. If over 20/255 start owning Bitcoin, then yes we are at mass adoption stage then. Got a long way to go though.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] GOLD Stablecoin – $200,000 - payouts in BTC, ETH, GOLD on: January 06, 2020, 02:18:47 PM
I want to advise all participants of this campaign to patiently wait until the payout is made for the actual month and if you don't receive it only then start to ask questions and looking for help.

I participate in this campaign for some time and am enrolled in signature, translations, content creation campaigns. I know that the manager updates the spreadsheet fully in the first week of the new month. It is possible that your articles or something else will be added to the spreadsheet just a day before payout.

One more time - wait patiently until payouts are made and then if you haven't received your bounty start to look for help. There are still 5 days or more to payout and all can happen during these days. Managers work really good and I have always received my full payment, despite my articles and translations were added in the last days to the spreadsheet. I have also asked questions and I was looking for help but finally, it was not needed and better was just calmly to wait.

Is the campaign finished or is it still open for January? I want to make some nice content.
192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How 18-year old boy became Millionare from Bitcoin on: January 05, 2020, 09:30:54 PM
Quote
He decided to compete his brother by buying hundreds of bitcoin worth $1,000 in which his grandmother's  gave.

Yeah right,I wanna become a millionaire too by buying bitcoins with my grandmother's money. Grin
Unfortunately for me my grandmother died and she wasn't rich.
This is kid is just lucky. He's not a genius.

Well both my grand mother's died before I was born lol and at 54 have never inherited anything from anyone and have worked from the age of 16 and still working. I have to give the kid credit though, he was in the right place at the right time and took a chance and made it. Some kids get tons of money from their parents and grandparents and squander it on so much useless stuff, he didn't, he invested it, so kudos to him to be fair, even if he does come from a privileged background. I had a very rich cousin who died from cancer at 56 because he lived a really bad lifestyle and squandered all his parent's wealth and was lazily sitting in the hot sun for months on end, so his skin got exposed and he got melanoma and died, from laziness and stupid living. I feel sad for him but at the same time, he had everything ut never invested it wisely like this kid.
193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin fail if Satoshi is found? on: January 05, 2020, 09:22:45 PM
I am sure some idiot would try to kill Satoshi and try to demoralize Bitcoin holders by making a martyr out of him. I doubt though that would do anything to compromise its existence due to it being so decentralized and will be mined long after his death I guess anyway. There would probably be some commotion and FUD caused to help get rid of weak hands again so a group of whales can stock up again. I very much doubt Bitcoin would die if Satoshi was ever found but that is just my guess.
194  Economy / Economics / Re: Where's my free money? on: January 04, 2020, 11:05:24 PM
This is hilarious. I never believe any of these price predictions. It's a real cosmic joke to be quite honest with you. Do your own research and due diligence and don't listen to all the so-called experts with their price prediction for Bitcoin, or any other coins. I also don't even believe myself anymore about anything in crypto. I just go with the flow and act according to the situation. I do feel Bitcoin may go up in price in the future again, but not to the degree MCAFEE is talking about unless the value of the dollar plummets, then it could happen lol.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if Ethereum replaces Bitcoin someday? on: January 04, 2020, 11:02:18 PM
I think Ethereum has its place but I doubt very much that it will replace Bitcoin as Bitcoin seems to be the store of wealth and the big institutional investors like to have their main stash in Bitcoin. I do believe though with POS coming Ethereum will gain a larger market share than it enjoys now as people move from other high capped coins that don't give any POS interest. So Ethereum might take away from other coins in the market cap, but I doubt it will overshadow Bitcoin any time soon as it has a large supply.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next big thing in crypto? on: January 04, 2020, 10:55:03 PM
I don't believe there will be a single event as such that will help bring more mass adoption, but China moving forward with their digital RMB and their President making sure Blockchain is widely accepted, will usher in an era of more mainstream adoption. Although the currency is centralized, the fact that it brings awareness to the blockchain, may open the doors to more investment in decentralized currencies and projects as well. More payment gateways, infrastructure, unbanked people gettign roped into the economy and IOT will do the trick. Smart cities and IOT will rope in everyone.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this really a good plan? on: January 04, 2020, 10:50:17 PM
Well nowadays it is true, we may not earn as we did in 2015/2017, so lots of people have given up where bounties are concerned. I still like to do signature campaigns as I also have a full-time job, so I don't have time to work full time in them like before. The nice thing now for me is that I have a full-time job in  BLOCKCHAIN COMPANY and get paid in Bitcoin, which means if I have a little spare I can invest in a good project, like the one I work for example. Bounties are still nice and will work them part-time. I don't feel I could earn a living from them anymore though, not like before, hence needed something more solid, full time for daily living. Now I can do bounties and not worry about rushing ever to sell any coins, not that I used to before either, I would always wait for a good price.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Eureka Coin on: January 04, 2020, 10:47:08 PM

How often does token burning happen? What determines the number of coins burned?

Token combustion takes place automatically. No one knows when it will happen to avoid price manipulation

Does the amount of tokens burned depend on the capitalization of the project?

Every time there is a buyback and burn, 50% of net profits coming from Polaris Universal, or the PARENT COMPANY, go to buy EUREKA COINS and then they are burned. They didn't do a huge ICO, they didn't need to because the buybacks come from the sales of various products and services, along with live real trading as well from FX AND CRYPTO traders. Those buying Eureka now cheap, benefit form the diminishing supply that is coming from these buyback and burn parties.
199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi Nakamoto? Solved! on: January 04, 2020, 10:44:37 PM
It's very interesting to see this research and what you underwent to go through this remarkable discovery. I do think though that I like the mystery behind Satoshi's anonymity and it takes it for a great story to tell our kids and grandkids as the years go by, that we were all involved in this mysterious event called the birth of Bitcoin, or Genesis as it were. If Satoshi wants to remain anonymous and not found, I think it's best to keep it that way, in respect of his desire to remain anonymous, but if ever he was to go public, then your findings would be a great testament to that.
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just a quick warning on: January 04, 2020, 10:40:08 PM
I like to diversify, last year went all-in in a project and it nearly cost me my health from the stress of it. Now I diversify and mainly collect Bitcoin with a few other good coins and growing a varied diverse portfolio in safe projects. I do have my eye on a few low cap and diminishing supply coins that get bought back by the owners in order to make them rarer, but yes diversification is the key and we must never forget this. Don't listen to fud or fomo in telegram groups, always do your own research as well first and foremost.
