Bittrex has gone rogue, they have been freezing users balances without warning. Time to forget about this exchange and move on to the next one.
They lock accounts involved in pump and dump activity and take all their coins afterwards, its in their TOS. Bitfinex is doing the same since last week. What? Bittrex itself is a P&D'r, they are locking accounts who had been opened since Bittrex started. My account was a legacy account and they decided to lower my withdrawal limits without a reason. They violate their own TOS, beware of Bittrex it has gone rogue. |

good run on nem since yesterday. I'd just like to ask though, are there nay plans for a token burn? I'm saying this not to pump the price, but the supply is just wayyyy to many lol. maybe 25-30% decrease is reasonable enough.
But who's going to volunteer to have their tokens burned? Not I! I think the number of tokens is fine. Many of them are tied up in masternodes anyway. Apparently defc0de would like to volunteer, we salute you for your brave sacrifce defc0de. Just post the burn address when you are done. |

Once again, I've had a lot of NEMs and I got involved in the freedrop of airdrop, sold at what I think is high, and I'd be very rich if I did not sell it. Whenever I mentioned "NEM," I would silence. . . . . Heart is very painful
how many XEM did you have? If he's telling the truth and got involved in the airdrop, it must have been around 2.5 million XEM. Depending on when he sold, that may be a lot of foregone profits, especially if he cashed out into fiat. One regret minimization tactic is never sell your entire airdrop  2.25 million and it is probably true. I knew people who I helped get into NEM sell their stake for $400 USD because "I made much profits durr durr durr". I'm sure those people are kicking themselves now  |

I see a lot haven't figured it out yet.
It goes FIAT->BTC->ALTS for most of the transactions when entering the cryptocurrency world.
Some transactions go FIAT->ALTS but not many.
People first buy BTC which pumps, then that BTC is used to buy into ALTS.
Then BTC dips and ALTS pickup, the cycle continues once more.
It will keep happening until stability or more direct gateways of FIAT->ALTS are created. The range between the peaks and dips will eventually stabilize.
Going beyond the utility these cryptocurrencies can bring to the world, the current state is one where $$$ can be made if someone wishes to but it won't last for long.

Does anybody remember the free internet services of 10+ years ago? Things like NetZero, maybe a similar model could be used but using the javascript miners through a small browser window. Even ad revenue might be a possibility, maybe even use the ad revenue to buy QORA to split amongst users/developing team.

with ththe raiblocks fork for the catchpa miners, will i be elegible if my coins are stored on http://myraiwallet.com or do i have to use the windows wallet?  Im told webwallet will work, but just confirming, there was a notice in the wallet but cant find it now. I’ve been using myraiwallet.com for some months now no issues to report, although there are other web wallets availalable, im not sure if there is going to be a fork anymore, i beleive that was called off, thank god, there is only need for one raiblocks.

So with this recent bull market nem has not really done much of anything, good or bad. It gains and loses a few cents here and there, but otherwise stays pretty stable. Meanwhile almost 200 BILLION has flowed into the crypto scene and it seems like every other coin has ridden the wave up EXCEPT nem. From #5 to the very real possibility of being #16 in the next day or two is a pretty big fall. It sucks that we weren't able to capitalize on this huge swing upward. When the inevitable downward turn for the overall market comes we're gonna be in even worse position than we were before.
Looks like more people get to join the NEM community because it's still cheap. Better distribution = a brighter and stronger future What a wise man. Pass him a beer! Don't drink much but I'll take it |

What's the chance XRB can take some of IOTA's market share. Everything I hear about IOTA is that it is a scam, has a bug in its code and has a poor management team. This would be good news for XRB, no?

Trust me, I do understand the pain you feel! I got scammed out of 700,000 XWC about 5 months ago and it sucks because I know the value of that now! Especially after supporting and being involved in XWC since 2014 and missing out on reaping the rewards because someone did me over.
