361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [EON] EXSCUDO - ICO successfully finished! on: September 01, 2017, 05:55:07 PM
This project seems to be quite promising as people do wait for it. I wish I'd known about ICO and crypto like a year ago.
Is there a chance to become an investor after ICO ends?

Wait for exchange listing after release of wallet.
362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: September 01, 2017, 05:23:30 PM
Does anyone know whether there are plans to to have NEM listed on fiat exchanges like kraken, bitfinex, bitstamp or coinbase ?

They'll do it when NEM is ready, not yet but it'll be ready when it's ready.
363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | ARDOR | Scalable Blockchain-as-a-Service Platform | Proof of Stake on: August 30, 2017, 03:07:53 PM
Can anyone explain the difference between ARDR and IGNIS? They seem like they are 2 projects of the same thing.

I'll suggest you to read Ignis ICO whitepaper at https://www.jelurida.com/sites/default/files/JeluridaWhitepaper.pdf and check https://www.jelurida.com/resources

And don't look what barrabas is writing, he's living in parallel universe.

Yeah, follow martismartis advice instead. He'll have you convincdn the moon is within reach. Me, on the other hand, will continue telling you that in the real universe, not only NXT/ARDR has been recently halved (in BTC), but will be much, much, MUCH lower.

Because, frankly, there's no value of any significance there. At all. At least not value that can be compared to about 50 other alts either fully developed or in advanced stage of development be people who pass much more mustard than this "team" of schemers.

I don't care about your financial advice  Roll Eyes

I asked about the differences between ARDR, IGNIS and NXT.

I just need a quick 1 or 2 sentence summary to clear things up. If both coins are NXT 2.0, then what are the differences between both of them?

I don't need the IGNIS whitepaper, just a quick summary of their differences. It'll help me and others who are also wondering the same thing.

364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XRB]Cryptocurrency's killer app: RaiBlocks micropayments on: August 30, 2017, 02:59:20 PM
The devs should just stop the faucet and burn the remaining supply.

Would solve the headache of all these stupid third world beggars who think Clemahieu owes them a living.'

Also it would allows the devs on releasing a proper wallet that works.

The weak link is the XRB wallet.

I'm guessing you're from the USA, the arrogance you all display  Cheesy

is anyone else hodling XWC?

Since day 1

It's good to be in the day 1 club hey lemon! It's been quite the ride over the past couple of years.

Nice to see that the interest in the market is coming much more regularly than it used to, we're on to a good thing

I share your opinion, I just held because it seemed like a good idea. It hasn't disappointed lately.  Cool

368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 🚀🚀🚀 DOPECOIN : NEW CALIFORNIA DISPENSARY ADDED ... 🚀🚀🚀 on: August 26, 2017, 02:53:16 PM
DopeCoin will not be rebranding. Some people hate our name, other people love it, everyone has something to say about it.

This new ICO is a stand alone project brought to you by the DopeCoin team and is designed to bring an innovative and new solution to the marketplace that is currently under fire.

Our mission is to become a gatekeeper in the marijuana advertising industry.

What everyone needs to understand is that even though we were able to create a cryptocurrency 3 years ago that was meant to facilitate the marijuana industry and provide a new discrete way of making payments, and even though we were the first in the world to actually buy a bong with a marijuana related crypto.... There is no user base.

People are not lining up to pay for weed with a crypto currency. This is a fact.

Trying to provide a solution to the industry and acting as an alternative to the current banking problems that the industry faces is also a tremendous mistake in my opinion. Banks will only ignore this type of revenue for so long before they decide to take a different stance on the issue. Once this happens.... The business model is destroyed overnight.

In order for a crypto currency in this space to survive it requires constant innovation and the ability to provide solutions to the industry that are not currently available. Additionally, it is important to push hard and take advantage of opportunities while they present themselves.

Thank you guys for your interest.

September 2017 is going to be one hell of a month!

Basically: "This project is not making us more money, let's start a new ICO, new concept, new evetything. Name it X-coin and let all the new money roll in."
Another failed coin coming up for everyone, but profits for devs and friends Roll Eyes

And if anyone says "you have no faith in this coin", looks like dopecoin's dev has no faith in his coin either from the statement he has made. That should tell you everything.

Community takeover it is.
Crowetic shall not be trusted. I say that based on the things he did at Burst.
You can tell from the clip this guy is a deceptive douchebag.

What? lol.

I've been holding QORA since the beginning, stop spreading bs.
370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][QAU] QUANTUM PROJECT - Connecting markets on: August 10, 2017, 05:39:39 PM
As discussed before, we are slowly selling our BCH that we claimed in full from our liquidity pool. We are not in a business of speculating where the price is going to be tomorrow or next week, that is why we developed a clear plan on how to use them and will stick to it no matter what happens to the price in the next 90 days.

You are arguing with newbie fud accounts, don't let it distract you.

Their opinion is not worth even 1 bit.
371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XEL] :: Elastic - The Decentralized Supercomputer :: on: August 10, 2017, 04:21:06 AM
The misconception of what socialism even is in this thread is disappointing.

You all do realize that Bitcoin in its purest form is a type of communist concept right? Satoshi was trying to even out the field in the world of the haves too much and haves not much at all.

Even XEL "Decentralized" motto should tell you everything  Roll Eyes

Anyways I'll be shutting off my node as seeing members in the community just see this as a "get rich quick scheme and let's centralize it".  I'll be watching from the sidelines.

Whitecoin on the rise, been watching this coin since the beginning.

Let's see what the next round of updates for XWC bring, I'm sure devs will surprise the community  Cool
373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [OFFICIAL] [SAFEX] Safe Exchange Coin [website www.safex.io] on: August 09, 2017, 03:01:17 PM
Price is not relavant right now, if devs can get a true decentralized market going and useable by many, that will be the real innovation. Then product sells itself.
374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XEL] :: Elastic - The Decentralized Supercomputer :: on: August 08, 2017, 09:33:43 PM
Is there a correlation between balance and how many blocks are forged?

Yes - how else would it work?

Some of those baancee are in the millions of xel. Unreachable at the current price thus turning away many potential supporters of the tech. Personally I don't care for myself, but when someone discovers xel they'll just see it as another scheme of the rich getting richer.

Don't advertise it as just needing 1000 xel and you're set. That's misleading. That's my 2 bits.
375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XEL] :: Elastic - The Decentralized Supercomputer :: on: August 08, 2017, 05:39:56 PM
My node is now trying to forge but it seems like the big balance account get all the blocks. Is there a correlation between balance and how many blocks are forged?
I just have a few hundred over the minimum to forge. I am mostly running a node because I've discovered elastic (a bit late) and I like the idea behind it,but forging a few blocks would be a nice bonus.
376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [OFFICIAL] [SAFEX] Safe Exchange Coin [website www.safex.io] on: August 08, 2017, 05:34:07 PM
How many other alt coins with a circulation of 1 billion or more have ever hit $1 ?
Answer NONE

Just a few months ago nobody thought this would be possible. Now nobody knows the future of altcoins, it's been a wild ride nobody was expecting.
377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XEL] :: Elastic - The Decentralized Supercomputer :: on: August 07, 2017, 04:57:17 AM
Yesterday, while I was loopy on pain meds (just got my wisdom teeth out) I sold half of my XEL and put in a buy order to buy back 10% lower. The only problem is I didn't make a buy order... I made a second sell order... and checked today to see all my Elastic was gone. Tbh I want to off myself.

We all have done stupid things in the past trying to ride the wave. It sucks but it is an expensive lesson. Better to take a hit now and learn, then to take a hit in the future at a much bigger scale.

379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XEL] :: Elastic - The Decentralized Supercomputer :: on: August 06, 2017, 04:02:35 PM
I got a node running for elastic, now when I log in through my browser and I activate forging will it keep forging after I close the browser?

So far I have to reactivate it everytime I log in, is there a command I can issue to start forging without having to log in through the browser?
380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: August 06, 2017, 08:15:20 AM
I like NEM project, but I just fear that with MasterNode and POI, coins will be more centralized to just a number of people. Not good for long-term development

Eventually the supernodes will be phased out and lower entry level to become a node will be allowed. It's just a temporary function to have super nodes while the network grows, from what I've read.
