So I asked one of our electronics stores who accepts bitcoin to also accept NEM. They told me they are going to expand on crypto but they are definetly not accepting NEM, since, same as XRP, it is owned by a private subject    so they are not going to support this "synthetic currency" since it's not even crypto. Earlier today there was a crypto ""expert"" explaining top 10 cryptos on twitter, stating that NEM and Ripple are not even blockchains. (yeah both of them put shit Ripple and a diamond NEM in one bag and shook it) Conclusion: loads of people that actually study crypto have no idea what NEM is!! imagine that people would know that NEM is most decentralized public blockchain! We need to somehow communicate what NEM is to the public. There could be a marketer among us who would be willing to educate public for a bounty. Do I see any hands risen? Absolutely right! Nobody knows what NEM is, because we have zero marketing! It is the same old story and the NEM team won't change it! Never, for ever  Calm down (and read up), theres lots and lots in the background going on, but we´re ninja, and when you least expect it: wham ! Can't find you on the richlist. My security was more than lacking when i received my stake so when i got better about these things i moved my nem to a new private key so no you won't find my name on the rich list. As for the post count i only post when i have a real opinion to contribute as i did this time. I'm the one who first proposed using the sockpuppet stakes to form a fund on the old nem forum (I did not figure out the specifics). I've kept a close eye on all the nem topics here and on nem forums ever since 2013 so yes i think i'm pretty well informed about the community fund and what it's supposed to be used on. As for who you are and why you are attacking people here based on post counts and what not i have no idea. Why even claim you are on the list if you are not A lot of us are seasoned in the ways of the fud, trolls, newbies, and hype.  |

About tps: The maximum genuine transaction rate per second in p2p data networks that span the globe is even theoretically below 3 tps limited by the speed of light (signal speed in medium such as optic fibre + processing). The HEAT engine is currently capable of processing multi thousand tps on a single node and several hundreds of tps on closely connected nodes with a network connection that can support such speeds.
Please tell me more about how you defy the speed of light. Is it only Magic or did you mix some Alien technology in? Better go back and re-read it, it doesn't state anywhere they exceeded the speed of light. Just that transactions are limited by such speeds and HEAT is able to process transactions but more per second, not faster. |

Does Nem Foundation get a share of the company? If so, even if Nem price goes up we'd still be okay and if they are profitable there would be constant inflow of funds for the dev team.
It is quite remarkable that a newbie made his first post and it appears that he has got already knowledge about NEM foundation, isn't' it? ;-) I changed my mind a bit as it seems suspicious that there are more and more coming to this thread to promote that huge funding! The community should take care if this project is worth to fund or not!!! This is something that also needs to be taken into account, the amount of newbies accounts with less than 5 posts being so biased towards approving it. |

I would rather vote for NEM funds to be spent on new internal researches then looking for dev teams around the world to apply and develop new NEM technologies. Similar to what ETC is doing now. Any external requests for funds is a red red red flag!
Consider all the failing insecure Ethereum dapps that just sucked money from crowd funding. NEM dev funds should never get trapped in any sort of crowd funding for projects or Dapps that operates on NEM unless the project/research is a core NEM piece that initially been developed internally by the NEM dev team. Only then we can vote.
A third party request for funds should not even open the door for any sort of voting! I would rather vote and debate such principal first.
Everytime something like this comes up, I have not seen one developer in the thread asking for a vote or setting up a system for the initial investors to vote on. We can discuss this all day long, but if we can't actually physically vote then all these are just words and we will be ignored. Can anyone point me to where the voting is happening? Of course you will be able to physically vote. You will have 5 days to physically vote on the Atraura Proposal thread. So discussion is actually 10 days if you wish to vote on the last day available......more than enough time to get to know more about the Atraura Organisation. The Community Fund was specifically set up to help third party projects expand the NEM project...... please read all about Atraura and the proposal process before commiting yourselves State your sources and the records where this voting process happened. I am not aware of this process and others as well have not heard of this vote. Take into account that many of us have been keeping up with NEM since day 1. I could care less of an Atraura Proposal thread, I want to see a blockchain system style of voting. So far most initial supporters have been told about these projects, yet we are being left out of voting then all of a sudden boom "new money approved for X project". Who approved this? Where are the public records of such votes? It'd be nice if our opinions get taken more into account if we are truly "a community coin". If anyone from the main NEM team would like to step in and explain this/correct us to clear things. |

The voting system is bullshit anyway. 100 people could vote no and a whale or a dev could vote yes and yes would win due to the whales importance
Yes! And t hat's why Trump would never win an election like this Because 100 people who don't know what's going on will be out-voted by 1 whale/developer who actually knows what is going on. That's actually how Trump won, the popular vote said no but a few people in the electoral college said yes. |

Noxt is a colored coin on the NXT network, IOW it is a NXT asset so in order to use it you must run the NXT wallet afaik. It was on Polo but was removed do to low volume. Please correct me if am wrong: It seems to me that the proposed NEM authenticator project will mainly require a one full time experienced developer. He can fully develop it within 6 months + 3 to 6 months more for testing. In addition the project will require good security tests. Overall there is no way that $3,000,000 is needed for such project. I would evaluate it in the range of minimum $200k to maximum $600k. I am all ears if anyone would like to prove me wrong on that.
that's why i proposed decomposition budget for each milestone for clear understanding Do you guys understand that probably people who are in charge of the project are not reading this forum? If you have something meaningful to say, you should say it in forum.nem.io Then that's very irresponsible of them because this is the forum where it all started. |

I think the current amount of KARMA coins are the coins that are currently on Yobit. I have even found an old wallet with some KARMA in it. However, I do not have any connection (no nodes) to send them anywhere. KARMA might make a comeback like MOON and others in the past days and weeks. Since nobody joined the token creation of KARMA, I will go ahead and assume KARMA is dead. 1 satoshi sales with no buy orders for a while, looks dead. Someone change my assumption with proof that KARMA is not dead. |

Raiblocks community needs to be more matured.Most of the community members are new to the crypto world.And everyone is waiting raiblocks to add on Bittrex.

Well, most of the people on cryptocurrency trading wait for circulating supply to reach 80-85% of total supply and invest their money, after this period of time price starts skyrocketing, RaiBlocks is a long term project with a very bright future, people making 3400 claims per 100 xrb and it is getting harder and harder, do you think they do this for 3$, they are holding on it because they believe in Raiblocks. Just be patient, I see RaiBlocks in top 100 marketcap in 5-6 months and top 20 by 2018 Where do you find out the circulating supply? One person could hold 40% supply, doesn't mean it's circulating so how do you figure out 80-85% circulating coins? |

I wondered the exact same thing when I first heard about PIVX. PIVT is (sorta) pronounceable which is important for marketing. I think "Piv-X" phoenetically sounds much better than "Pivt" ...but I suppose you could've called PIVT "pivot" which would've been a clever word play on it's fork origin No point in talking about name change, this was debated last year and PIVx was the result. |

1 Seed for all accounts. You can create other in Advanced --> Accounts --> Create account after import
The only problem can be red accounts imported from private keys (not from Seed). If you have such, just reimport it from private keys or backup.json
