Some stuff seems to be coming through. Do we know what the issue is? Maybe imgur is blocking the cache?

Pretty good we are holding steady despite the destructive apocalyptic nature of neocons in charge and leeches such as Jamie Demon destroying the retail fiat banking sector.
Maybe. But Bitcoin should be rocking things right now. It's disappointing that people aren't catching on when everything is right in front of them.

Apart from kids being your kin, how do you know now (assuming that your kids are still very young) that they are or will be worthy of such inheritance? Actually, a serious question and I have been grappling with this one for a while. Alternatives: extended family (if worthy), charities of your choosing, etc, etc.
They are your kids. Do you have children? The more pertinent question is whether it will actually advantage them and whether they are equipped to handle it.

What you use today, as Internet, was invented in CERN. Error 404 - not found, is actually inherited from CERN days of the Internet. Room number 404 in CERN was the place where all unsorted documents were directed to. So, please stop posting nonsense about Al Gore!
That may be an urban legend https://queenofsubtle.com/404/?page_id=1921

Yes, anyone could solve this puzzle nowadays. Jam crazed? Who isn't?

I mean... it's wrong. Like on so many things... but... The name "Wall Observer" is derived from the idea of watching the Bitcoin price movement as if it were a chart on a wall. And notr even a hint to the shit-posting. Reminds me of when that reporter said that the nickname "spam" came from the effect of throwing a can of spam at a fan. We may not have achieved actual artificial intelligence but it's pretty close to artificial dumbass.

mmh.. looks a bit like 26xxx next and rebound at 25xxx....
All in all, I feel this cool-down after the recent rally is a good thing
You call that a rally? We crawled up from 27k, diddled around at 30k and here we are back again.

Straight after the SpaceX launch. Obviously a dig at Musk. Says the guy who's been helping make laws for 140 years.

OK, what's the FUD this time?

The market got over that rate hike pretty quickly and does appear to be back into rally mode. I’m still expecting we end the month at $30K but we’re running out of time. One good push from here should do it though and with today’s price action I still think it will happen. I think at that point we might start seeing average Joe’s begin to have FOMO.
Gotta stash away all that funny money somewhere. The question is, is the market rallying or is it just number going up? One things for sure, those with connections will be getting out before the rest of us who will be glad we saved our ramen seasoning packets to flavor our 401k statements with.

OK, in relation to Ooms post, fair enough.
My point is that if the election wasn't decided by EC, it would have been a totally different game and would have been played differently. It's just not comparable. Simple example, I live in a red state. Everyone knows it's going red. So likely a lot of people don't even bother to vote (on both sides but likely mostly on the right). And a mirror image in blue states too. And that's just one example. It plays out across many aspects. Quite possibly Trump might have had more votes or maybe Hillary would have had a landslide. The complexity makes it pretty intractable.
As for the elimination of the EC, you have an uphill struggle there. It's still a union of states and you're not going to find many (though there are some) that want to be ruled by California and New York.
|
|
|
You think I don’t know that? See my post.
I know you know that. I just don't think you appreciate the implications. That the EC is in place affects everything from the candidates chosen to the campaigns and how people turn out. One of the (many) factors thought to be a factor in Hillary's defeat is that she basically said "fuck it" to campaigning in several states (her being a horrible candidate should not be ignored, of course, let alone fucking over Bernie). Get rid of the EC and it's a totally different election. The votes don't transfer over, however much you'd like that to be the case. ...seriously dude?
Hey, you were the one glibly dismissing (and insulting) the longstanding institution of the EC.
