That video was pretty cool... I'm looking forward to seeing the next one, but don't know if it's been done/uploaded yet.

Do not buy these! They are counterfeit and not worth anything! He calls them bitcoins but they are not. Mtgox and Trading Hill do not accept these! Because they are counterfeit! Do not buy!
Why is it that when someone has 'economic' or 'economist' in their nick-name, they turn out to be the most idiotic form of troll? Such a mystery... Isn't that the same as in the offline world? There's a serial stupido in Sydney called Steven Keen who for years said Australia's houses would drop 40% just because America's did ...never happened but he keeps coming out with equally-stupid theories because that's what economists do.

But in all thanks for clearing this up for me, when I can issue as many adresses as I want I have a way to track payments, even in a large business environment.
Yes, and you can also issue and ask for separate receipts.

Hi all,
when I make a regular bank transaction I have the opportunity to send a message to the recipient, usually a text of what this payment is about (client number , bill number etc.). Bitcoin is currently lacking such an option. If it shall be used more widely, I believe it is necessary such an option will be included in the client/infrastructure. Otherwise it is impossible for a bigger company to effectively track payments.
Tell me, when you pay for something with physical cash, do you write a message on the banknotes first? I'm pretty sure banknotes are used widely.

Whats a Satoshi? Nickname for the smallest unit currently possible: 0.00000001 BTC.

Good stuff... I was thinking it'd be handy if the various withdrawal forms around the web would also accept a url instead of just accepting a bitcoin address.
Eg. You go to withdraw from Mt Gox and instead of inputting your address you just input your shortener link.

For 1 BTC I would buy 11 litres of petrol.

Don't forget to add the category: Biggest Troll That will actually encourage all trolls to step up their trolling efforts. Not s'posed to feed them!

You don't put a wallet on a hosting machine - ever. That's the most stupid thing I have ever heard, there is absolutely no need for that and there is no way to do that in a trustworthy way.
Duuuuh, okay then... how do you do it? How does one run a gambling game for example where there's hundreds of incoming/outgoing payments on a daily basis? ...or to put it another way, where is the server for mt gox or tradehill physically located? In a professional datacentre somewhere or in someone's basement?

The sending client sends itself the change
Oh yeah of course, I was thinking 'refunds' but accidentally typed 'change'.

I own both bitcoin.me and bitcoin.com.au not because I wanted to sell them as domains but to build something with them in future.
That's my story; Absolutely none of mine were bought with the intention of squatting... I want to spend the next few years building bitcoin sites, so bought the domains in advance. Of course if anyone offers me a crazy-high price for one I wouldn't say no

It would be nice to kinow if there's a kind of system that avoid creating an address that is already in use.
Since addresses can be generated offline, how do you define 'in use'? You can only check the addresses in the blockchain, but you can't check what addresses have been generated offline.

I'm getting married next month and I've had to sell a bunch of my belongings
Just keep your 'belongings' in the garage, or you know, go online for that sort of thing
