"He was really a nice guy," Brian Gore's ex-girlfriend, Sandy, told WTKR 3 News in Norfolk. "He went to church and everything."

Does going to church really make people seem more trustworthy, or only among other church-goers?

I just tried a few of my addresses on probiwon.com and it also says all mine are invalid.

"bought out" like Hotmail was by Microsoft (for a mere 400 million

Off topic but I thought they paid only $20 million, quite early. It wasn't HoTMaiL for very long.

It sure is. But not the government. We all know which one that is.

It provides strong encryption ... even the government can’t break

Genuine question: When you write do you ostracize 95% of the world's people on purpose or just by accident?

949  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Flip For Bits... 50/50 betting game. on: May 15, 2011, 05:15:37 AM
Also, just to make you aware, the site goes down regularly. Not sure if that is because you have run out, or something, but it goes down none the less.

It's stupid bitcoind freezing up. I don't know yet how to make it more reliable.
950  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Flip For Bits... 50/50 betting game. on: May 14, 2011, 10:34:33 AM
Hey, The page crashed somehow and It didnt accept my 2BTC payment, also Its taking ages if at all to get a payment, even after confirmations. Thanks.

Hi, I'm away from main PC at the moment, but I've restarted bitcoind and will fix up any payment issues once I get back.
951  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Guess my baby's sex! on: May 13, 2011, 11:13:22 PM
i think he asked for ultrasound photos because he'd beable to identify the genitalia without the photo being classified as CP,
And when a baby is First born somepeople have troubles recognizing M/F.
But i think what would be the most appropriate "THIS IS PROOF" document would be a brief snapshot of the "Male/Female" part of the birth certificate

Who asked for ultrasound photos?
952  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Flip For Bits... 50/50 betting game. on: May 13, 2011, 11:10:25 PM
Oops. I sent a bitcoin payment to a previous address for the bit flip.

I PM'ed you some details. What does bitflip do in this circumstance?

It has no check for extra amounts going to the same address so it passively keeps any extra, muahahahahaa! *evil laugh*

But I've refunded it to you.
953  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't buy bitcoins. Use carrots instead! on: May 13, 2011, 10:52:59 PM
Anyone new that has played my coin toss game may have wondered what the deal was with the 'other' side of the coin:

954  Economy / Speculation / Re: call an end to the rally on: May 13, 2011, 10:45:26 PM
I've got a buy order for 1 coin at $3.57.

Simply because that's all I have in Mt Gox at the moment, and you can't buy fractions yet Smiley
955  Economy / Economics / Re: 1 BTC = 20 USD on: May 13, 2011, 07:55:00 AM
I need to start making some BTC income soon!

Got any tech skills or photoshop guru-ness? Hit me up.
956  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Switching to mBTC by default? on: May 13, 2011, 07:40:03 AM
we could agree to switch to mBTC everywhere (clients, merchants, traders).

This was from November:

...it'll be time for the client to switch to millicoins (e.g. .001 BTC)

Yes it doesn't need to be switched everywhere, it's just a matter of choosing whatever client software suits you.

Some people will continue to enter '0.05' into their bitcoin client program, while others will decide to run SuperClientmBTC (tm) which takes mBTC as input instead.

Both send the same amount behind the scenes.
957  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Guess my baby's sex! on: May 13, 2011, 04:03:34 AM
When we find out the sex, I'll take all the bets and split them up...

My only request is that if possible give us all a day or two warning before you find out the sex...

Like post "We are heading for an ultrasound next Tuesday" for example.

That way everyone can get their final bets in on time.

958  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Guess my baby's sex! on: May 13, 2011, 03:56:15 AM
Do you already have some sort of information on the sex that you're withholding?
Not a thing.

Were you and your wife vertical or horizontal at conception?
959  Economy / Economics / Re: 1 BTC = 20 USD on: May 13, 2011, 02:07:20 AM
Yeah.... my vote has changed since last time.

How about a a poll on whether 1 BTC = 20 USD before the end of Spring?

Or the end of Saturday? Cheesy
960  Economy / Economics / Re: 1 BTC = 20 USD on: May 13, 2011, 01:48:57 AM
I've reset this poll, now that Mt Gox has shown a $6.99 trade.

Previous results were:

yes 49 (31.2%)
no 61 (38.9%)
maybe 47 (29.9%)
