181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Just RELAX, it will be OK! on: March 18, 2018, 07:14:11 PM
Yeah exactly, people see some little price drops and start panic selling which leads to their loss as well as other people's loss eho invested in bitcoins. I think more number of people should be made aware of these price manipulation techniques so that they would know the cause and won't panic sell.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The investment on: March 18, 2018, 06:53:05 AM
Well that is true, people who carelessly invest in any coin without knowing much about it would most probably suffer from a loss. Investing in a randon coin would be equivalent to gambling, in which the person might make a lot of money or lose it all in which the chance for the latter to happen is more.
183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN will be dead? on: March 17, 2018, 08:47:30 PM
Exactly, a little price drop and people start saying that 'bitcoin is gonna die', etc. First of all they should remember that bitcoin's price is fluctuating and it has always been that way. There have been numerous drops right from the beginning but none lf them stopped btc from reaching new heights. So, this is just another little drop and some people try to spread false rumors who hardly have any knowledge about cryptocurrencies.
184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin now make it super easy to fund something in full secret on: March 17, 2018, 08:40:40 PM
Yes, bitcoin have good privacy which makes to transactions hard to trace and of course it was not meant to be used for illegal/criminal purposes and it can not/should not be blamed for it. Everything had some positive and some negative points, being used for illegal activities is a drawback for bitcoin, but it also has a lot of advantages. And I think this drawback can be fixed as well, with the help of KYC, which can help a lot in getting to know the identity of the person using bitcoins for illegal purposes.
185  Economy / Speculation / Re: Expect price to go up or price down? on: March 17, 2018, 08:32:01 PM
Currently, I think the price might go down for a few days or maybe weeks. As this might be start of a little drop. After bitcoin stops dropping after a few days and becomes a bit more stable I think the price would come back up again and cross at least 10,000$. If we see it in a long term I think it would be reaching new hieghts again, in a few months.
186  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Is bitcoin going down again? on: March 17, 2018, 01:09:50 PM
Well there might be various reasons. First the news that google is going to ban cryptocurrency ads might be contributing to the drop. There also might be some whales trying to manipulate the price of bitcoins by selling and waiting for btc's price to drop and then they'll buy a huge amount of btc again. Also some fake/half-true news or rumors which gets spread due to media might also add to the drop.
187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do many people who do not understand Bitcoin deface and attack Bitcoin? on: March 17, 2018, 01:01:53 PM
i think most of those people would be doing this out of jelousy. Maybe because they are not able to learn/multiply their money with cryptocurrencies so they don't want anyone else to do that either. I don't think there is any other reason why such people attack bitcoin. They don't know anything about it and keep saying that it's bad, what can be the reason? jelousy, I think it can be the only reason.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CryptoCurrency market is crashing on: March 16, 2018, 08:20:01 PM
I don't think cryptocurrency market is collapsing at all. It might be just going down a little bit which it would easily recover if given some time. The values are going down because of price manipulation, news from the media, etc. there are a lot of other factors. The big whales who are trying to manipulate the price are doing it because they want to buy the coins at a lower price and hold them till they go up again, repeat. So, people who are panic selling are the ones responsible for their success and holding would be the wisest decision one can make at a time like this.
189  Economy / Speculation / Re: **WHALES ARE ACTUALLY BUYING....NOT SELLING** on: March 16, 2018, 08:04:25 PM
Yes they definitely would. This is the correct time to buy as the market is red i.e. the price of bitcoins and other cryptos is pretty low as compared to the price before the drop. After a fee days it would be going up again. So, buying currently would be a wise decision and might get you a lot of profit.
190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin loose its popularity? on: March 16, 2018, 02:24:53 PM
No, I don't think it will. People will keep believing in bitcoins as whenever it's price has dropped it has always gone up again. Also, even if people lose interest temporarily they would start investing again as investing in cryptocurrencies is very profitable. Also, new investors keep coming in day by day as more and more people get to know about bitcoins. So, I don't think popularity can ever be a problem for bitcoins.
191  Economy / Speculation / Re: New fall of bitcoin on: March 15, 2018, 05:58:36 AM
I don't think we can expect much of a price recovery in the next couple of days as a lot of people are going to panic. It might not even recover a little bit. I think this is the start of a drop, which might continue for a little while. It would rise up and recover again but it might take a little longer. I think it would take more than 1 week at least.
192  Economy / Speculation / Re: PRICE DOWN???DONT PANIC SELL....!!! on: March 14, 2018, 06:17:15 PM
Yeah, panic selling would cause the price to go down even more and the person who is panic selling might also suffer from a loss. I don't know why people panic on little drops. Bitcoin has always recovered it's value and it will do the same again, so there is no reason to worry. Holding would be a wise decision.
193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trade with alt ? on: March 14, 2018, 03:58:12 PM
Well, bitcoins are good for holding for a long term where as the the other small altcoins are good for short tern trading with a few exceptions such like Ethereum(which is similar to bitcoin as it is suitable for a long term investment). Some people choose altcoin trading because they think it might be more profitable for them. But if you don't have enough knowledge you might select the wrong coin and lose your money. So holding bitcoins is safer, but has lesser amount of profit in given time, whereas altcoin trading is riskier, but can give more profit in a short time.
194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amidst Rising Bitcoin Regulation Push, Google Bans Cryptocurrency Ads on: March 14, 2018, 03:16:34 PM
Well, that is a pretty bad news for cryptocurrencies. It might surely affect the value temporarily but a lot of people already know about bitcoins, so it won't be much of a problem for btc. As for the upcoming ICOs this might be a very bad news as they might fail because of this. A lot of people would've been getting to know about new ICOs through google ads.
195  Economy / Speculation / Re: panic or to be calm on: March 14, 2018, 03:12:54 PM
Well, even in situations like this, you need to be calm. If you don't be calm, you would definitely regret it later. If you check out bitcoin's price graph from the beginning, you'll find out that whenever it has dropped down, it has always recovered and grown even higher than that. So, just chill and hold as it would be going up again soon.

197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Alt Coins are a scam. on: March 12, 2018, 08:12:27 PM
Well, I don't think we should believe any of that. Bitcoin is surely the most popular coin which is most people's choice for investment. But, altcoins are pretty profitable as well and a lot of people have got profit through them. Also, most of the good altcoins' condition is not that bad atm and they would make a pretty good investment as well.
There are a lot of good altcoins, which are definitely not scams for eg. ethereum.
198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HOLD THE BtC on: March 12, 2018, 07:54:57 PM
Exactly, people should keep holding their bitcoins without any fear of losing money and panic selling. Your story is a pretty good example, as you keep holding and don't look at the drops and have patience you'll get a lot of profit from your money invested. People who panic sell because of the drops like the one which happened recently are the only ones suffering from loss.
199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: While you are panicking.... on: March 10, 2018, 07:27:04 PM
Exactly, they would buy even more. That is what most of the intelligent investors do, i.e. invest while the price of bitcoins in on the lower side as they know it would be definitely going up again soon. People see a little price drop and they start panic selling which indirectly leads to the profit of big investors as they are able to buy more bitcoins while the price is on the lower side.
200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the government ban bitcoin? on: March 10, 2018, 03:34:26 PM
Well it depends on which country you are talking about. As far as I know most countries like US, Canada, etc. won't be banning bitcoins. China and a few other countries have already banned bitcoins. Recently there was a rumor that India was going to ban bitcoins, which wasn't true. I don't think any other country will ban btc, most of the countries look supportive for cryptos.
